Lovely location, fabulous food, super service, entertaining entertainment. We are glad we had premium seating. But, every seat is fantastic.

Such a fun night. The food options were delicious. The activities and vendors were interesting and informative. The show is very entertaining and fun to watch. The host, Paul, was fantastic and he made it special for my fiancé and l as he heard we got engaged a few days prior. We got to get our own dance along those who were celebrating anniversaries. That was such a sweet surprise and totally unexpected. I highly recommend luau! The transportation was also fantastic and super easy.

Our group was looking forward to our first luau and as we arrived at the destination it started raining. While the hosts were quick to hand out rain ponchos, the rain affected the event.

First, the hosts were rushed to get folks registered and get things moving. As a result, our group was never able to get our picture taken before the event started. Knowing this was an outdoor venue and its rainy season, I would have expected that certain things would have been under cover - like the photo area, the stage and honestly even the seating.

The food was under cover and was good. Not spectacular but good. A couple of our group had raw fish and were all sick that night so having certain foods outside for an extended period was not smart.

The performance from the warriors was good. They tried to show the different dress/dance of various polynesian groups but it would have benefited from more clarity on their differences as they all stared looking the same.

The ONE performance I was looking forward to was the fire dance. It was a disappointment. I expected all the adult performers to have choreographed a phenomenal dance of fire, complete with fire twirling, throwing etc. Instead they handed the "fire dance" off to one young boy for a solo act and two young boys to show off what they learned. YES, they were very good! but the magic of a "warrior tribe" dancing the fire dance was lost. The adults did come back for a grand finale - but it seems confusing at best.

Not what I expected.

Last year, we registered our marriage and, being a bit older, we weren't considering a wedding ceremony. However, after researching sunset cruises, we found an option for a vow renewal. We updated our marriage vows for our second anniversary and received a certificate, commemorative photos, and a bottle of champagne for toasting.

We were seated at a couple's table by the window, allowing us to enjoy the view while dining. The sunset and the night view of Honolulu were absolutely wonderful. There were hula dances and various performances, and everyone on the boat had a great time. I chose the one-star meal since I have a small appetite, but the portion was more than enough.

昨年、入籍をし年齢高めで挙式などは考えていませんでしたが、サンセットクルーズをリサーチしてバウリニューアルというのがあったので、入籍２年目の結婚の誓いの更新を行い証明書と記念写真、乾杯のシャンパン1本いただきました。
席は窓際のカップルシート指定で景色を見ながらお食事が出来ます。
サンセット、ホノルルの夜景、とても素敵です。フラダンスや色々なダンス、船内のみんなで盛り上がりました。
少食なので1スターにしましたが、充分な量です。

Not worth the amount paid. Food and beverages were below average. Dancers performed well. Location of the stage was wonderful. I wouldn't recommend anyone buying the VIP premium seating.Story telling was so boring .

My first time in Hawaii! It was a wonderful memory.

Small and intimate luau with a lot of Hawaiian history coursing through the show!

When looking at activities for our honeymoon, we were definitely looking for an on the water experience. There are lots of options in regards to sunset or fireworks(every friday) but most of them seemed to include having to be on a boat with many other families. While we are not opposed to spending time with strangers and getting to meet people, we really wanted to have a "next level" experience where we had pictures to share and memories to make.

Pau Hana sailing delivered on every single level. Captain Austin made sure our experience was one to remember. He helped us take pictures and was an absolute gem to spend two hours with.

Considering the pricing to be on our own private charter was only slightly more than being on one with tons of other families, there was absolutely no downside. I cannot recommend Pau hana sailing enough.

When we come back for an anniversary we will absolutely be booking again. Mahalo!

It was a great experience! The activities were fun and educational! Great family environment! Wonderful performances, amazing performers, good food and drinks! The best activity and experience on our vacation! You have to go!

You know how you can never quite describe the atmosphere, moments and beauty of something? That was this experience. From a long distance traveler- this was once in a lifetime. Tell everyone you know and bring them with you. 10/10.

Ok, ok. This was my first luau but still, in my opinion, it was the greatest luau you could attended. From start to finish, period! From the time you get picked up the host in the bus doesn’t shut up. I’m kidding. He is great. He entertains you with a comedian style performance to break the ice on your way to the Luau. Who doesn’t like to be entertained. This is better than sitting in a boring 15 minute/ half hour ride. lol. Then you get neckless beads, amazing. Make sure you’re as hungry as a lion cause there is a lot of FOOD. You will gain 10Lbs easy. Then the best awaits. Many different cultural warrior dances both male and female. But they save the best for last. The warrior fire dance. The begging slowly so you won’t poop your pants with so much fire. Talented warriors swinging fire, AMAZING. And if you are celebrating a b-day or anniversary… man you’re in for a treat. Oh did I mention the also take complimentary pictures . Keeps getting better. I’d tell you more but just book the show and see for yourself self.

This was a first for me and my husband and we were unfamiliar with the area. The instructions on where to meet could have been a little clearer. We were a little late due to that but the photographer was very understanding. Robert was very professional and willing to take any shots we wanted. He also recommended several poses for us and didn’t rush us at all. Overall it was a pleasant experience and I’m glad we were able to book it. Can’t wait to see the results!

Had a great experience ! Super easy to plan with Dempsey ! My new fiancée loved it ! She thought it was the most romantic and beautiful thing. Definitely a highlight of our trip ! 10/10 recommend booking this picnic !

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary with a couples massage. The location is so convenient, very welcoming space and felt very private. Such an amazing experience with such skilled masseuse’s. They knew where our problem areas were and we walked out like brand new people. Don’t hesitate to book this experience… as soon as we left we booked another one before we leave to go home.

We totally enjoyed the show. It was very entertaining and kept us engaged right up till the end. The food was delicious & plentiful. The whole experience was awesome!

This was our last night in Hawaii and this was the perfect way to end it. The setup was excellent and very cute. Jenny and Joshua were awesome host. They had everything setup made it really easy to find them. The food was also very good we ate pretty the whole charcuterie board. Overall it was a good experience to do, would recommend it.

We stayed at Marriott and enjoyed the premium upgrade for the luau so much!!

The water is so different over on this snorkel tour, and they pick up from hotel!

Ken was very pleasant from the moment he picked us up, and I felt relaxed and at ease even before the tour started. He made us laugh with jokes in the car and shared his knowledge and information about Hawaii, making the 7 hours fly by. The ride in the Lincoln was also fantastic; I didn't feel tired at all and could have stayed on longer. Ken is half Japanese and half American, and since he has lived in Japan for a long time, he speaks Japanese fluently. I would love to request Ken again the next time I have the opportunity. Thank you for the enjoyable time, Ken!

ケンさんはお迎えの時からとっても感じがよくて、ツアーが始まる前から安心&リラックスできました。車内ではジョークで笑わせてくれたり、ハワイの知識や情報を教えて下さったり、あっという間の7時間でした。リンカーンの乗り心地も最高で、全く疲れたりもせず、まだまだ乗っていたいくらいでした。ケンさんは日本とアメリカのハーフの方で、日本に長く住んでいたこともあるので、日本語はペラペラです。
また機会がある時はケンさんにお願いしたいと思っています。

The two-hour private rental was amazing, with a fantastic view of Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head from the ocean! Swimming while anchored was also very refreshing! I highly recommend it for families and friends!

In mid-August, I participated with my 8-year-old daughter. I was worried about the heat, but thanks to the shade, it was not a concern at all. We were able to move our bodies slowly in a refreshing breeze, and it was a very pleasant time. My daughter got bored halfway through, but I was grateful that the instructor kindly encouraged her. We took The Bus from our hotel in the center of Waikiki to get there, and on the way back, we played at the beach and stopped by a café, then walked back to the center.

8月中旬に、８歳の娘と一緒に母娘で参加しました。
暑さを心配しましたが、日陰のため暑さも全く気にならず、爽やかな風が抜ける中でゆっくりと身体を動かせて、とても心地よい時間でした。
娘は途中で飽きてしまいましたが、インストラクターの方が優しくお声がけくださってありがたかったです。
ワイキキ中心部のホテルから、行きはThe Busに乗って向かい、帰りはビーチで遊んだりカフェに寄ったりしながら、そのまま中心部まで歩いて帰れました。

I requested a North Shore tour. Originally it was supposed to be 6 hours, but thanks to a free campaign, they extended the tour by an additional hour. During the tour, Ken provided quizzes about the places we visited and the history of Hawaii, which allowed us to gain knowledge about Hawaii while having fun. When we arrived at each destination, he carefully pointed out the highlights, the locations of shops, restrooms, and even recommended delicious local spots that you wouldn't have to wait in line for. He also took us to places and photo spots that are not typically included in regular tours, making for a truly fulfilling experience. If I have the opportunity to go to Hawaii again, I definitely plan to request Ken's services. Thank you very much.

ノースショアのツアーをお願い致しました。本来は6時間だったのですが無料キャンペーンで1時間プラスでツアーを延長していただきました。
ツアー中はKenさんが行く先々の場所に関する事やハワイの歴史等、クイズを出してくれてハワイの知識を身に付けることができ楽しく移動できました。また、目的地に着くと一つ一つ丁寧に見所の場所、お店の場所、トイレの場所、地元の人しか知らない様な並ばなくても美味しいお店を教えて下さいました。また通常のツアーでは行けない様な場所やフォトスポットにも連れて行ってくださったり、本当に充実した時間を過ごす事ができました。
また、ハワイに行く機会があれば、是非とも、Kenさんにお願いしようと思います。ありがとうございました。

We chartered a boat for a family trip with three generations, totaling nine people. We booked the two-hour course, which turned out to be just the right amount of time to relax and enjoy meals on board. However, if you plan to have a longer meal on the boat, a longer course might be better.

We brought takeout food and drinks with us, but there were plenty of utensils provided, and it was helpful that cold drinking water was available. There was also a cooler on board, so we could keep our drinks and fruits chilled. There were two restrooms available, and we were able to bring a stroller on board as well. Although we didn't use it, there was also a microwave (or oven?!) available.

From the boat, you can see Waikiki and Diamond Head. The time spent lying outside while enjoying the panoramic view was absolutely the best!

The boat arrived at the dock about 15 minutes before the departure time. Since there isn't a waiting area like a terminal near the dock, it might be better not to arrive too early.

親子3世代9名の家族旅行でチャーターしました。
2時間コースで申し込みましたが、船上でのんびりしたり食事をすることができ、丁度良い時間でした。
ただ、船上での食事を長めにとる場合は、もう少し長いコースの方がよいかもしれません。
テイクアウトした食事や飲み物を持参して乗り込みましたが、カトラリー類は十分用意されていましたし、冷たい飲料水の提供もあり助かりました。
クーラーボックスも設置されているので、飲み物やフルーツなどは冷やしておくこともできます。
トイレは2か所ありました。
ベビーカーも積み込むことができました。
使用してはいませんが、電子レンジ(オーブン?!)もありました。

船上からはワイキキやダイヤモンドヘッドを見ることができます。
特に屋外で寝転がりながらパノラマビューを見ながら過ごす時間は最高でした!

船は出発時刻の15分くらい前に桟橋にやってきました。
桟橋付近にはターミナルのような待つ場所がないので、あまり早めに行かない方がいいかもしれません。

It was nice to see the fireworks at night on the water. The drinks were good, but our catamaran was 10 mins late and the crew seemed more tired and ready to end a long work day.

We used this service to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. We had a bow renewal with a friendly captain in a corner of the boat. He took photos with my own phone. It was a bit embarrassing, but it became a wonderful memory. We enjoyed a bottle of champagne together. Since it was Friday, we also got to see fireworks, which was great. Additionally, we had our photo taken at our seats, and we received it as a gift at the end. We will definitely use this service again.

On the VELTRA site, I was a bit worried because there were no reviews for the driver guide, Ken, but as expected, there were no issues at all, and we had a fun day (8-hour tour). We were supposed to meet in front of the hotel at 8 AM, and it seemed that Ken arrived a bit early; when I got there 5 minutes before the meeting time, he was already at the meeting spot. The ride in the Lincoln was comfortable, and the kids, who usually get car sick, were energetic all day. When I shared our destination preferences, he kindly added three more stops since we had time to spare. I was looking forward to seeing sea turtles at Laniakea Beach, and thanks to him parking in a lot right in front of the beach where we could observe the turtles well, we were able to see five turtles and some baby turtles swimming. He has a great personality and speaks Japanese very well, so communication was no problem at all, and he shared a lot of knowledge about Hawaii. He mentioned that everyone might get sleepy after lunch, so he would keep it quiet, but in the end, we enjoyed chatting until we arrived at the hotel. Basically, once we reached a destination, he would wait in the car while we explored freely, so if someone wants the driver to take many photos or guide them at the sightseeing spots outside the car, it might be better to join a different tour. I have heard reviews from other tours where the drivers were unfriendly and terrible, but Ken was a really nice guy, so I wanted to write this review in hopes that more customers will choose him. My wife is already saying she wants to request Ken again next time, so we look forward to it!

VELTRAのサイトでは、ドライバーガイドのkenさんの口コミが０件だったので、大丈夫かなと少しだけ不安だったのですが、当たり前ですが、全く問題なく、楽しい１日（８時間ツアー）を過ごすことができました。朝の８時にホテル前で待ち合わせだったのですが、Kenさんは、少し早めにご到着されていたようで、５分前に到着した際には、すでにお待ち合わせ場所にご到着されていました。リンカーンの乗り心地もよく、車酔いしがちの子供たちも一日元気でした。行先の希望を伝えたところ、時間に余裕があったので、他にも３か所行き先を追加して下さりありがたかったです。ラニアケビーチでウミガメを見るのを楽しみにしていたのですが、海岸が目の前で、ウミガメをよく観察できる駐車場に車を停めていただけたおかげで、ウミガメ５匹と、子ガメたちが泳いでいるのも見ることができました。お人柄がよく、日本語もお上手ですので、コミュニケーションも全く問題ございませんし、ハワイの知識も豊富で、たくさんお話してくださいます。お昼ご飯以降は、みなさん眠たくなるでしょうから、静かにしておきますねとおっしゃられていたのですが、結局、ホテルに着くまで、ずっと楽しくお話させていただきました。基本的に、目的地に着いたら、車でお待ちになって、自由に観光させていただくスタイルですので、ドライバーの方に写真をたくさん撮って欲しい、車の中以外でも観光地でアテンドして欲しいという目的の方は、別のツアーに参加される方がよいかもしれません。他のツアーで、たまに、ドライバーの方が不愛想でサイアクだったという感想がございますが、kenさんは、大変良い方でしたので、少しでもkenさんのお客さんが増える機会になればと感想を書かせていただきました。妻は、次回も、kenさんにお願いしようと申しておりますので、次回もどうぞよろしくお願いいたします。
