All round positive experience, on the boat and lanai
I participated in the sunset and stargazing tour at the summit of Mauna Kea. The view of the observatory and the sunset from the snow-covered summit was truly magnificent, and I couldn't help but gasp in awe. The sky conditions were excellent, allowing us to see not only the winter constellations but also the winter Milky Way clearly, and I was genuinely amazed by the sheer number of stars filling the sky.

We had a great time taking a shuttle up to the ranch and going on the Hollywood Movie Sites 90-minute tour. Our shuttle driver/tour guide was awesome and we loved the T-Rex photo he took for us. We had an awesome lunch while we waited to return to Waikiki, including a fantastic Dole Whip shake.
I participated in a dolphin watching and snorkeling tour. Overall, the atmosphere was very pleasant, and the views of the sea and mountains were beautiful, which really lifted my spirits during the trip.
