I signed up for a 2-hour horseback riding course. Since I am not Japanese, the explanations were primarily in English, but they provided important parts in simple Japanese. Contrary to what I thought, the actual riding time was not short; after a brief video explanation, we set off immediately and were able to ride for almost the full 2 hours, enjoying the stunning views of both the sea and the mountains.

There was an explanation on how to use the reins, but the horse was well-trained and did not act up or stray from the course. Only a waist pouch type for carrying belongings is allowed (there are rentals available), so I recommend participants who are just experiencing horseback riding to come almost empty-handed. (Bags cannot be brought along and need to be placed in a $5 locker.)

Items like GoPro cameras cannot be hung around the neck. However, if you can attach them to your helmet or wear them on your arm, it might be possible to record videos. Photography was allowed at any time during the ride, as long as you did not stare at the screen.

2時間の乗馬コースを申し込みました．
日本人ではありませんので基本的には英語での説明でしたが，重要な部分は簡単な日本語で説明してくれました．
実際に乗っている時間は短いのかとおもいきや，簡単なビデオでの説明後すぐに出発，ほぼ2時間乗りっぱなしで海・山ともに最高の景色をみることができました．
手綱の使い方の説明がありますが馬のほうが慣れており，暴れたりコースを外れることはありませんでした．
荷物の持ち込みが腰に巻くタイプのポシェットのみ可（貸し出しもあります）ので乗馬のみ体験の方はほぼ手ぶらでの参加をおすすめします．（バックなどは持ち込めず5ドルのロッカーにいれる必要あり）
goproなども首に下げるかたちでは不可です．ヘルメットに装着したり腕につけられたら動画も可能かと思います．
写真撮影は画面を凝視しないという条件で乗馬中いつでも可能でした．

The driver-and-guide James has a rich knowledge of history of volcanoes and history of hawaii, and also provides expert guides on the stars.

I would not change one thing about this tour. It exceeded our expectations. the communication before the experience was excellent. Jason was an exceptional guide - so attentive! He is an expert in astronomy and Hawaiian history which we greatly enjoyed. He had a great telescope and a cool machine that takes pictures of celestial objects in the sky that he EVEN EMAILED TO US LATER! Just wow! The chicken stew was delicious too! I participated in an English-only tour because the Japanese-speaking reservations were fully booked. The experience itself was impressive, as there are many similar tours in the area, and manta rays regularly approached us. The staff was also very accommodating. However, the time spent floating in the sea was quite long, and it can be tough if you don't have the stamina to hold onto the float. My wife had to retire midway. There were no unnecessary services, so it was relatively inexpensive, and it might be a good option for those looking for this kind of experience.

日本語対応の予約がいっぱいだっだので、英語オンリーのツアーに参加しました。
体験自体は周辺にたくさんの同じようなツアーがあるため、マンタが定期的に近づいてきますので迫力がありました。スタッフも対応が良かったです。
ただ、結構海に浮かんでいる時間が長いのと、浮き輪に捕まっている体力が無いと厳しいです。嫁さんは途中でリタイヤしました。
余計なサービスもないので比較的安価でしたし、このような内容を希望する人はいいかもしれません。

I was able to watch an impressive show from the front row, and it was moving. The venue isn't very large, so the sense of immersion was incredible.

最前列の席で、迫力のあるショーを観ることが出来、感動した。会場がそこまで広くはないので、臨場感がすごかった。

Since I stayed at Waikoloa Village, I decided to book Dolphin Quest. The prices were high due to the weak yen, but I thought the experience for my child was priceless, so I made the reservation. The group was divided into two, with one team that understood English and another that did not. The team that didn't understand English had four Japanese and one Indian. Later, you can purchase photos for download.

ワイコロアビレッジに宿泊したため、せっかくなのでドルフィンクエストを予約しました。
円安だし値段は高かったけど、子供の経験はプライスレスだと思い予約。
グループを2つに分けられて、英語がわかるチームと分からないチームに分けられました。
英語わからない方は日本人4.インド系1でした。

Early wake up call but it is so worth it as the early morning views from the top of the hike felt warm and cozy.

Expensive but for the length of the lines and the length of the tour, it is well worth every penny!

the crew is so engulfed in making sure to show is top notch, it was so felt throughout the entire evening.

It was a good day, but there is a LOT going on. You could probably break it up into 2 days as the pass lets you come back for the day-time events.

Early early morning but it saves you the time from needing a reservation, and with breakfast included in makes it a bit easier to balance out the early am!

We went with this tour as not many stop inside the Valley! We really wanted this, so tying the tour togehter was a good way!

Easy in easy out, just be aware of rocks if you have weak ankles. The fall was flowing on the day we had planned so all was well!

We got a mom and her 2 babies on our tour, it was so amazing!

Sensory overload in the best way, every twist and turn of the road another magical waterfall appears.

Our guide was very helpful and informative, bringing a lot of history and information about the island! The island however was not as pretty as Maui!

We felt secured and safe at all times along the zipline course, and the ending with the water hole and lunch was nice and relaxing. We would recommend to anyone visiting Kauai!!

I had an experience that matched the description! The staff could speak a little Japanese, so communication was possible.

Don’t mistake their wry humour for un professionalism. Saw them take another’s concerns with slightly damaged gear seriously. Would’ve liked a more guided experience on the water where to best see stuff but for the cost, I can’t blame em. A dolphin pod swam up to the boat on the way back and they stopped to let us experience it.

My parents in their 70s and my elementary school-aged child all enjoyed it. I was worried about the shaking, but it was fine, and I think the timing was just right.

I was anxious since I had no experience with horseback riding, but I enjoyed it very much. After watching a simple video explanation, I got on the horse right away, and the horse was so smart that I didn't really have to give any commands. The guide was very attentive to everyone and led us well. She was a very cute guide. I don't think you can often experience horseback riding in such magnificent scenery. It was a wonderful experience! ☆

乗馬未経験で不安でしたが、とっても楽しめました。簡単なビデオ説明を見ていきなり乗るのですが、お馬ちゃんが賢くて特にこちらが支持する事もなかったです。ガイドさんがみんなを気にかけながら先導してくれます。とっても可愛いガイドさんでした。壮大な景色の中の乗馬はなかなか経験できないと思います。とてもいい経験になりました☆
