The weather on the day wasn't great, but the staff set up a volleyball net, and playing volleyball in the ocean was amazing.

I went on a jeep ride at Kualoa Ranch with my son driving, but the vibrations were so intense that I accidentally dropped my smartphone out of the jeep while trying to take various photos from the back seat. I thought it was impossible to retrieve it after it rolled down into the valley, but a kind lady from the ranch drove to get it for me. The glass screen protector was cracked, but I was truly grateful. Moreover, since I couldn't take photos after dropping my phone, she had taken some wonderful pictures for me. She was not only beautiful but also very kind-hearted. I can't express enough gratitude.

息子の運転でクアロア牧場をジープで走ったのですが、振動が酷くて私は後部座席で色々撮影していた弾みにスマホをジープの車外に落としてしまいました。
谷の方に転がり落ちてしまってもはや無理かと思っていたのですが、牧場のお姉さんが車で拾いに行ってくれて、ガラスフィルムは割れましたが本当助かりました。
しかもスマホ落として後半撮影出来なかっただろうから、撮影しておいてあげたと素敵な写真が残っていました。
なかなか綺麗なお姉さんでしかも心優しい方でした。
感謝しかありません。

It started off with a bit of anxiety due to the cloudy forecast, but I was truly moved by the beautiful sunset and the stargazing!

There was a lecture on breathing techniques to prevent altitude sickness, and the attention to detail made me feel secure participating. I had heard that there would be an English guide, but it was very helpful that they also provided guidance in Japanese as needed. The light snack sandwiches were delicious too!

I really enjoyed the stunning scenery and had a wonderful time. Thank you very much!

I made a reservation two days in advance after checking the weather. I participated in the morning tour because I wanted to make the most of the tide and the time of day. Even though it was sunny in Waikiki, it was cloudy at the location. However, during the second half of our free time, the sun came out, and I was able to take photos just as I had imagined. The staff's response was also wonderful, and I highly recommend this tour.

As expected from Cirque du Soleil, the content is impressive. I've seen several shows in Japan, but Auwana offers a different kind of emotion. The venue is more compact compared to those in Japan, allowing for a great view of the performers' expressions from the golden seats. Plus, the location in Waikiki is fantastic!

日本での公園は複数回みましたが、アウアナはまた違った感動があります。
会場は日本に比べてコンパクトなため、ゴールデンシートは演者さんの表情まで良くわかります。ワイキキ内のため立地も最高！

This is a place I have always wanted to take my family to. Currently, the bus service has been discontinued, and entry requires a reservation in advance. It feels a bit daunting, so I decided to join a tour.

I chose a tour that departs early in the morning and allows you to select your return time.

First, there was a pre-trip briefing on the tour bus, which made me feel very reassured. Upon arriving at the site, the entry was smooth, and we quickly reached the bay.

During our time in the bay, I made sure to bring drinks, snacks, and rice balls (with ice packs). We spent 90 minutes in the morning, took a 90-minute break, and then enjoyed another 90 minutes of snorkeling.

My family seemed to have a great time snorkeling. The bay, with the tide fully out, made it easy to observe the fish, and we saw many of them.

For lunch, we indulged in some sweets and had a hearty meal, taking a short break before enjoying the afternoon thoroughly.

Marine shoes are a must. While rentals are available on-site, I prefer using my own snorkeling gear that I'm accustomed to. Since there is quite a bit of sunlight, I recommend placing your belongings in the shade and bringing a tent. I brought extra bath towels to help regulate my body temperature.

Returning was also smooth, making it easy to get back to the hotel, which I think makes planning evening activities more convenient. I would love to go again.

敷居がたかく、ツアーで参加にしました。
＊朝早い便で向かい、帰りの便を選べるツアーにしました。

まず、ツアーバスの中で事前に説明もあり、とても安心です。現地に到着すると入場もスムーズですぐに湾内に到着できます。

湾内で過ごす間の、飲料とお菓子、おにぎり（保冷剤）はしっかり準備して持ち込みました。
午前中に90分、休憩に90分、午後90分、しっかり休みをとりシュノーケルしてきました。

家族は、シュノーケルがとても楽しかったようです。
潮がしっかり引いた湾内は、お魚が観察しやすく
沢山見ることができました。

お昼は、甘いものもとりしっかり食べて、少し休憩もはさんで、午後もしっかり楽しみました。

マリンシューズは必須。
現地はレンタルもありますが、使い慣れた自身のシュノーケルセットが良いです。
日差しはそれなりにあるので、木陰に荷物を置くが、持ち込みテントをお勧めします。
私は体温調整しやすいようにバスタオル多めに持っていきました。

帰りもホテル側の送迎場所までスムーズに帰ってくるため、後も楽で夕方の予定が組みやすいと思います。
また行きたいです。

Originally, we were able to watch a video at the entrance of Hanauma Bay, but instead, we watched it on the bus. This allowed us to smoothly enter the bay with guidance from the tour staff upon arrival, and we were able to start snorkeling right away.

Although there seemed to be fewer fish than I expected, the ocean was incredibly beautiful! Additionally, I was lucky enough to witness a monk seal coming ashore, which was a delightful experience!

As more people gradually arrived, I recommend going early in the morning. The bus offers many options for departure and return times, which is great because you can participate according to your own schedule.

The return bus provided drop-off service to each hotel, and the tour staff were very kind. I had heard that it was difficult to get tickets, so I was grateful that this tour was available.

本来ハナウマ湾入場口で視聴するビデオをバスの中で見れるので、現地に到着してからは、ツアースタッフに案内されてスムーズに入場、そしてシュノーケルを始めることができました。
魚は思ったより少なく感じたものの、海はとても綺麗でした！
また、たまたまモンクシールが陸に上がる瞬間に出会えることができて、楽しかったです！
だんだん人が増えてくるので、朝一から行くことがおすすめですが、
バスは行きと帰りの時間の選択肢が多いので、自分のスケジュールに合わせて参加できるのも良い点です。
帰りのバスは1組ずつホテルまで送迎してくれて、とても親切なツアースタッフの方々でした。
なかなかチケットが取れないと事前情報を知っていたため、このようなツアーが開催されていて助かりました。

I had a great time!!

We were blessed with good weather, and since I had learned snorkeling from a professional during a different activity the day before, after kayaking and other activities, we enjoyed snorkeling for over an hour. I swam with the fish and observed them!

I also participated in the banana boat and bumper tube rides, but the splashes were quite strong, making it hard to keep my eyes open for a long time, so I thought it would have been better to have goggles!

とっても楽しかったです！！
天気に恵まれたというのと、前日に別のアクティビティでプロの方にシュノーケリングを教わっていたということもあり、カヤック等をした後は1時間以上シュノーケリングを楽しみました。魚と一緒に泳いだり、魚を観察したりしました！
また、バナナボートとバンパーチューブに参加したのですが、結構水しぶきが強く目が開けられない時間が長かったので、ゴーグルがあった方が良いかなと思いました！

We gathered at 5:30 and started with a hike up Diamond Head, followed by visits to the Halona Blowhole, a macadamia nut farm, and Chinese Hat Island. We enjoyed a lunch of garlic shrimp at North Shore (Sunset Beach), observed sea turtles, and explored High Town and Green Coffee. It was a packed and fun day. Thank you, Jonah!

Even those who can't swim can participate without any issues! There's no need to worry about what to bring or changing clothes. If you minimize your valuables, you won't have to worry about your belongings, and you can enjoy a comfortable ocean experience. I was able to fully enjoy Hawaii while listening to live music.

The guide (Chris) provided incredibly informative explanations!

From the formation of the Big Island, Mauna Kea, and Mauna Loa, to stories about Japan's pride, baseball player Shohei Ohtani. The drive to the summit was long, but I was never bored at all. I truly appreciated the guide's expertise! Thank you for the memories on the Big Island!

ハワイ島、マウナケア山、マウナロア山の成り立ちから、はたまた日本が誇るベースボールプレイヤーの大谷翔平さんの話を交えて。山頂までのドライブは長いですが、まったく飽きなかったです。　　さすがはガイドさんと思いました！　　　ハワイ島での思い出をありがとうございました！

Since it was an early morning tour, I was able to participate at a 15% discount off the regular price. The equipment we used was so basic that there was some confusion among the Japanese participants, while the Filipino group, who were first, seemed unfazed by it.

I was able to overlook the deep blue ocean from directly above, which was a valuable experience. When surrounded only by the sea in a state of complete isolation, I felt a sense of tranquility and loneliness that was truly mystical. I was once again impressed by the power of nature.

We were blessed with clear weather, and it was a luxury to enjoy the view of Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head from the ocean.

真っ青の海を真上から俯瞰することができ、貴重な体験だった。そして、いざ周りが何もない状態で海だけに囲まれたときに感じる静けさ・孤独感を味わうことができ、なんとも神秘的だった。改めて自然の強さに感銘を受けた。

快晴な天気に恵まれて、海からワイキキビーチ・ダイヤモンドヘッドを望むことができ贅沢だった。

The guide, who spoke Japanese, provided detailed explanations in Japanese since there were many Japanese participants. Throughout the journey, I was never bored as they shared information about the Big Island, the flowers we saw along the way, and the wild goats.

As the car climbed the mountain, I was worried that the road to the summit might be closed due to the thick fog, but once we got through it, I was amazed to see the blue sky at the top. The sunset sinking into the sea of clouds was incredibly beautiful.

The starry sky afterward was also stunning, and the guide pointed out the Southern Cross, which is said to be visible only during this time of year. Perhaps because it was the day of the Kilauea volcano eruption, we could see smoke and a faint red light in the night sky, which even showed up in the photos we took.

Thank you for such a precious experience.

日本語も話せるガイドさんが、日本人が多かったので日本語でも丁寧に説明してくれました。道中もハワイ島についてや、周りに見える花、野生のヤギについてなど教えてくれて飽きませんでした。
車が山を登るにつれ、途中まではすごい霧で頂上までの道が閉鎖されないか不安でしたが無事に抜けると、頂上は青空が広がっていたのに驚きました。雲海に沈む夕日が最高にきれいでした。
その後の星空もよく見え、この時期にだけよく見えるという南十字星など教えてもらいました。ちょうどキラウェア火山が噴火した日だからか、噴煙や、暗くなってからはわずかに赤い光が夜空に見え、撮ってもらった写真にも写っていました。
とても貴重な体験をありがとうございました。

It seems that only residents are allowed, and it looks tough to go without a powerful 4WD and skills for driving on steep slopes. Therefore, I think it's better to join a tour.

The driver was kind and provided various explanations. However, since he wasn't fluent in English, there were many things I didn't understand, but I still had a great time.

The area below the cliffs was much larger and more magnificent than I expected. It was a pity that there was no water flowing over the waterfall, but I was satisfied with the grand view.

Driving through the river and stopping the car when wild horses approached made the tour enjoyable for the guests. I think this is a recommended tour where you can enjoy wonderful scenery and a wild drive.

住民以外はＮＧのようだし、行くにも強力な四駆と両急斜面の運転に長けていないと厳しそう。なのでツアーに参加するのがベターだと思います。
ドライバーは親切だし、色々と説明もしてくれます。ただし、英語が堪能でないので、判らないところだらけでしたが、それでも充分に楽しめました。
断崖の下は思ったよりもずっと広く、壮大でした。
滝に水が流れ落ちてなかったのは残念でしたが、その雄大な眺めに満足できました。
川の中を車で走ったり、野生の馬が近づいてくると車を止めてくれたり、ツアー客を楽しませてくれました。
素晴らしい景色とワイルドなドライブを楽しめるオススメのツアーだと思います。

I actually wanted to join the sunrise tour at the summit, but due to scheduling conflicts, I signed up for the sunset tour instead.

As a result, it was an incredibly satisfying tour!

◾️ About the guide
I was a bit anxious about having an English-speaking guide, but the guide made a great effort to explain important points in Japanese using a translation device.
That said, most of the tour was in English, so I was mostly lost during the journey (laughs).

However, the guide's personality was wonderful, and they were always considerate, making it easy to enjoy the tour.

The day before the tour, we drove from Kona to Hilo in a rental car, and while driving on the same route as the tour, we were suddenly hit by a heavy downpour and dense fog that made it impossible to see in front of us, which was quite scary.

However, the guide was experienced in driving, so even in similar weather conditions, they drove smoothly, allowing us to feel safe during the ride. It was reassuring.

◾️ Tour flow
We boarded the shuttle bus at Queens Market, but the meeting point was somewhat hard to find.
It said "shuttle bus stop," but I don't recall seeing any bus signs.

There was a nearby shop mentioned in the directions, but it seemed to be closed, so it wasn't helpful.

There was an area where it seemed like a bus could enter, and since there were people who appeared to be participants (including from other tour companies) waiting there, we waited and felt relieved when the bus arrived.

There were about ten participants in total, from various nationalities.

The elevation increased rapidly, and the guide encouraged us to take deep breaths several times during the journey.
We took a break at the Onizuka Visitor Center, where we had a delicious BLT sandwich and water.

At this point, the temperature had dropped significantly, but it wasn't as cold as mid-winter.

After leaving the visitor center, we suddenly hit the off-road section, and the bumps became quite intense.
If you're prone to motion sickness, it might be a good idea to bring some medication.
Additionally, due to the high altitude, I felt a bit short of breath.

However, the scenery around us was so beautiful that I didn't even have the luxury of feeling unwell.
It was a view that you could never see in Japan, almost as if we had landed on another planet in space.

As we approached the summit, the guide took us to several photo spots.
The views were so magnificent that I couldn't help but exclaim in awe.
The guide also took photos for us and suggested various poses, capturing some creative shots!

At this point, it was extremely cold.
Hats, earmuffs, and gloves are essential.
The jacket provided was thick and warm.

There are portable toilets near the summit, so as long as you can hold out from the visitor center to the summit (which takes a little over an hour), you don't have to worry about restroom breaks.

Before we knew it, the sun set, revealing a breathtaking view that words cannot describe.
The scenery changed so beautifully that I couldn't take my eyes off it for even a second.

After the sun went down, we headed to the stargazing point.
Here, we were served warm cocoa.

We then joined another tour group, and their guide mainly led the stargazing.
This guide was fluent in Japanese and explained all the constellations in Japanese.

While they were explaining, I realized that the sky was filled with countless stars.
We even observed the eruption of Kilauea volcano in the distance between the stars.

I was surprised to learn that what I thought was a star moving strangely was actually a satellite.

Finally, the guide took group photos with a DSLR camera for each group.
The photos, which couldn't be captured with a smartphone, were breathtakingly beautiful and became the perfect proof of my existence in this stunning scenery.

After that, we headed back.
We took a restroom break along the way and returned to Queens Market around 10 PM.

本当は山頂日の出ツアーに参加したかったのですが、旅行のスケジュールが合わなかったため夕日ツアーに申し込みました。

結果、大満足のツアーでした！

◾️ガイドさんについて
英語ガイドということで不安でしたが、ガイドさんは時折重要な項目は翻訳機能を使いながら一生懸命日本語で説明してくださいました。
…と言ってもほとんど英語なので道中はほぼチンプンカンプンです（笑）

しかしながら、ガイドさんのお人柄がとってもよく、常に気遣っていただき居心地良くツアーを楽しむことができました。

ツアーの前日に我々はコナからヒロにレンタカーで移動したのですが、今回のツアーでも通る道を走ったところ、突然の大雨や目の前が全く見えなくなるほどの濃霧に見舞われ、非常に怖い道中でした。

しかしガイドさんは運転に慣れていらっしゃるので同じような気象条件でもスムーズに運転してくださり、安心して乗車することができました。
心強かったです。

◾️ツアーの流れ
クイーンズマーケットから乗車したのですが、集合場所は一見わかりにくかったです。
シャトルバス乗り場、とありましたが特にバスの看板もなかったような気がします。

近くのショップ名が案内にありましたが閉業していたようで？、参考になりませんでした。

なんとなくバスが乗り入れられそうなエリアがあったのですが、そこにツアー参加者と思しき方々が集まっておられたので(他社ツアー含む)、なんとなく待っていたらバスが到着して安心しました。

一緒に参加する方々は10名ほど。
様々な国籍の方がいらっしゃいました。

あっという間に標高が上がって行きますが、道中ガイドさんが何度も深呼吸を促してくださいました。
その後オニヅカビジターセンターで休憩しますが、ここでBLTサンドとお水をいただきます。
とっで美味しいサンドでした！

この時点で気温はぐっと下がっていますが、真冬のような寒さではありません。

このビジターセンターを出ると、一気にオフロードになり、ガタガタとした揺れが激しくなってきます。
乗り物酔いをしやすい方は薬を持って行った方がいいかもしれません。
さらにかなり標高が高いため、少し息苦しさも感じたように思います。

しかし周りの景色があまりにも美しく、具合が悪くなっていく余裕すらなかったです。
日本では決してみることのできない、むしろ地球を飛び出して宇宙の別の惑星に降り立ったかのような景色でした。

頂上付近に差し掛かると、写真撮影スポットに何ヶ所か案内していただきます。
思わず歓声を上げてしまうほど壮大な景色でした。
ガイドさんも写真を撮ってくださいますし、さまざまなポーズを提案してくれてアイデアに溢れたショットも撮っていただくことができました！

この辺りからは極寒です。
帽子や耳当て、手袋は必須になります。
貸し出してくださったジャケットは厚手で暖かかったです。

頂上付近には仮設トイレがありますので、ビジターセンターから頂上まで耐えれば(1時間ちょっとくらい？)トイレの心配はありません。

あっという間に日が沈み、言葉では言い表せないほどの絶景が広がります。
1秒も目が離せないほど美しい景色が移ろいでいきました。

日が沈むと少し降って星空観測ポイントに行きます。
こちらでは温かいココアを振る舞ってくださいました。

そして別のツアーグループと合流して、そちらのガイドさんが主に星空をガイドしてくださいました。
この方は日本語がお上手で、星座の名前も全て日本語で説明してくださいました。

説明していただいている間に、気づけば満点の星空が広がっていました。
さらに星空の合間にキラウエア火山の噴火を遠くに観測することも。

奇妙な動きをしている星があるかと思えば、人工衛星だと教えていただき非常に驚きました。

最後はガイドさんのカメラでグループごとに一眼レフカメラで写真を撮っていただきます。
スマホでは撮ることのできないその写真が、息をのむほど美しく、この絶景に自分が存在していることを証明してくれる最高の一枚となりました。

その後帰路に着きます。
途中でトイレ休憩を挟み、22時くらいにクイーンズマーケットに戻りました。
英語が堪能ではないのでうまくガイドさんに感謝を伝えられなかったのが心残りです。

短いハワイ島滞在でしたが、このツアーに参加して本当に良かったです。
映像や写真では感じることのできない自然の壮大なパワーを感じ、本当に感動しました。

I participate in this tour every time I come to Hawaii. It's reassuring to have a Japanese guide. The lunch hamburger is also delicious. This time, the weather wasn't great, but the sandbar was shallow, calm, and very beautiful. While the weather and the chance to see fish and turtles can be a bit of luck, it's always fun!

ハワイに来た時は毎回このツアーに参加してます。日本語ガイドさんも居て安心です。ランチのハンバーガーも美味しいです。今回は天気はイマイチでしたがサンドバーが浅くて穏やかでとてもキレイでした。天気、魚や亀に会えるかは運なところもありますが、いつも楽しいです！

I attended the show with my family of five, including my one-year-old grandchild. Fortunately, we were able to sit in the front row and fully enjoy the powerful stage performance. Even without understanding English, the atmosphere and the performance were more than enough. The excitement was so overwhelming that my grandchild's diaper was quite a mess, and I thought that once they are a bit older, I would like to take them again.

1歳の孫を含め、家族5名で観覧しました。
幸運なことに最前列に座ることができ、大迫力のステージを堪能することが出来ました。
英語がわからなくても、その雰囲気とパフォーマンスで十分でした。
あまりの迫力で孫のおむつが大変なことになっており、もう少し大きくなったら、再度、
連れて行ってあげようと思いました。

I went horseback riding at Kualoa Ranch for the first time in 10 years. The horses here are very excellent, so I was able to enjoy it without any problems.

10年ぶりにクアロアランチで乗馬をおこないました。
こちらの馬は、たいへん優秀なため何の問題もなく楽しめました。

I tend to get motion sickness easily, so I took some anti-nausea medication before the challenge. I requested the instructor not to spin, but unnecessary spinning was repeated, and I started to feel unwell.

酔いやすいタイプのため酔い止めを服用してチャレンジしました。
インストラクターに回転させないようにリクエストしましたが、不必要な回転を繰り返され気分が悪くなりました。

My husband and I enjoyed the boat ride and the history. The entertainment was fun too. Unfortunately, I don't remember being told to use bug spray. I had over 20 bites after visiting the grotto, which messed up the remainder of my stay on the island.

I just wanted a round trip, so I chose this option. I'm glad you took care of the entry procedures for me. I usually don't go mountain climbing, but I was able to reach the top relatively easily. If walking isn't a burden for you, I think you can climb without too much difficulty. The scenery was beautiful, and I'm glad I climbed. On the way back, since it was Saturday, I was dropped off at the KCC Market. Thank you for your accommodating service.

I was looking forward to enjoying the sandbar, but it didn't appear on the morning ferry during Golden Week. However, the stand-up paddleboarding experience at waist height was not scary, and I could see my feet clearly; the sea was beautiful, and it was really great. Also, snorkeling was fun because they provided fish food, which attracted the fish. Overall, I was very satisfied.

ですが、腰くらいの高さでのsup体験は、怖くなく、足元もよく見えて、海も綺麗で、とても良かったです

特に後半のファイヤーダンスは圧巻で、正直ここが一番テンション上がるポイント。
観客をしっかり巻き込む構成になっていて、飽きずに最後まで楽しめる。

また、会場がワイキキ中心でアクセスが良く、ショー後にキャストと写真が撮れるなど、体験としての満足度も高い。
単なる鑑賞ではなく「思い出として残る設計」がされているのが印象的。

It was a mountain climbing tour that will remain in my memories for a lifetime. What impressed me the most was the breathtaking starry sky that filled the night. The view was so beautiful that it left me speechless, as if I had been thrown into the universe.

Additionally, near the summit, the thin air made me acutely aware of the dangers of altitude sickness. For the first time, I experienced the sensation of not having enough oxygen, which made me feel a bit of danger. However, the tour guide's response was excellent, and thanks to their accurate advice, I was able to get through it without any issues.

一生の思い出に残る登山ツアーでした。何より感動したのは、夜空を埋め尽くす満天の星空です。まるで宇宙に放り出されたような絶景は、言葉を失うほどの美しさでした。
また、山頂付近では酸素が薄く、高山病の恐ろしさを身をもって痛感しました。酸素が足りてない感覚を初めて味わい、少々身の危険を感じましたが、ツアーガイドの対応が素晴らしく、的確なアドバイスのおかげで事なきを得ました。

I had heard that the tour would be conducted in English, but the guide was also fluent in Japanese and explained the important parts of the tour and announcements in Japanese as well. I felt a bit unwell at the summit, but during that time, they provided attentive care and engaged each guest with topics tailored to their personalities during the free time. I was able to enjoy the tour with great peace of mind.

英語でのツアー催行と聞いていましたが、ガイドさんは日本語も流暢で、ガイドやアナウンスの重要な部分は日本語でも解説してくれました。
私は山頂で少し体調を崩してしまいましたが、その時は手厚くケアしてくれたり、空いた時間にはお客さん一人一人のパーソナリティに合わせた話題を振ってくれて、とても安心してツアーを楽しむことができました。

Great attitudes by the guides. They told us interesting facts about the plants and made jokes the whole time. Our family had a great time ! We would do it again!

Even though I couldn't surf, I had a great time experiencing riding the waves. You can ride the waves three times. The time flew by.

サーフィンができなくても波乗りを体験することができて楽しかったです。3回波に乗ることができます。あっという間の時間です。

The dancers and musicians were fantastic! Food and service was great!

During the round trip by boat from the harbor, there were two singers and live performances. While enjoying the beautiful sea, I had a wonderful time surrounded by relaxing music. There was only one changing room, so I hurriedly changed out of my swimsuit, but I think those who stayed in their swimsuits must have been quite cold. Unfortunately, we didn't see any sandbars or turtles. We could do stand-up paddleboarding, but maybe it wasn't necessary to go all the way to Kealoha Bay?

ハーバーから船での行き帰りに、二人の歌と生演奏があった。綺麗な海を眺めながら、ゆったりと音楽につつまれながらとても良い時間を過ごせた。更衣室が一つだけだったから慌てて水着から着替えられたけど、そのままの方は、かなり寒かったのではないかと思う。運が悪かったかサンドバーや亀はみられなかった。SUPができたけどケワロ湾まで行く必要なかったかも⁈
