The male staff near the entrance left a very good impression. He had a great vibe and seemed like someone who could get along with anyone.

This was an amazing experience.

Yes you can drive to the top of the mountain with your own car and view the sunset and save yourself the money ( you still have to pay admission fee). But this tour is not just about the sunset.
Its about seeing the stars mostly.
Yoshi has two freaking telescopes. Not just one. 1 worth around 3k i believe and the other for sure more than 10k.

Also we saw some other tours going up tthe mountain and a lot of cars and it gets really packed at the 10k feet. Yoshi has his secret location thats what he calls it, where actually not a lot of people go there and its at 9k feet. So hw drives up to the 10k feet to see the sunset, and if its packed he goes down the 9k feet. But for the stars is definetely at the 9k feet and its amazing for both. Not a lot of people, there is silence and you can enjoy both experiences.

Also the other tours are just for the sunset most probably. We definetely dis t see anyone else with a telescope. So yeah this experience is unique.

We were able to view multiple stars and he explained everything about the stars, we were able to view the ISS station when it passed through, we were able to see Saturn very closely and yes its like the pictures. You can see the ring around it.
We also saw Jupiter and 4 moons of jupiter and the moon and the craters on tbe moon. All these you cant see with the naked eye.

He provided jackets, chairs, blankets as it gets cold up there, some krispy kreme donughts, hot tea, coffee, and water as well.

So yeah if you just wanna see the sunset you can do it on your own if you wanna save money . But the real experience which is something unique that you cant see abywhere else is the star gazing and you get the sunset as a bonus.

So yeah recommended. And go with this tour because of the telescope.

The fireworks were beautiful, but... 花火は綺麗だったけど。。

They never came to take our order, and we could only use one drink ticket. While we were outside, the coffee spilled and spread all over the table, but they didn't change the tablecloth. I also asked for a refill of coffee, but it never arrived until the end. It was quite disappointing, especially since the sunset was also underwhelming due to the clouds. The only saving grace was the Hilton fireworks.

The sunset was indeed beautiful! Also, since it was Friday, I was able to see fireworks, and I'm glad I participated. I chose the buffet, and personally, I found the chicken to be delicious. There were people from various countries on board, and by the end, many were dancing to YMCA together, creating a party atmosphere. For those who are not comfortable with a lot of excitement, the deck is quieter, but it can get chilly with the wind after sunset, so I think it's better to have something to wear.

Even though it's a large ship, it was quite rocky the whole time, so if you're worried about motion sickness, it might be a good idea to have some medication on hand. Regarding COVID-19, I felt a bit uneasy because the spacing between tables was narrow. Most people weren't wearing masks, and since everyone touches the same areas at the buffet, I think it's better for those who are concerned to bring their own disinfectants.

The sunset from the beach is of course lovely, but the cruise sunset also became a wonderful memory.

ビュフェを選びましたが、個人的にはチキンが美味しかったです。
多国籍の方が乗船していて、最後は沢山の方が一緒にYMCAを踊ってパーティー状態でした。あまり皆で盛り上がるのが苦手な方は、デッキだと静かにいられますが、日が沈むと風もあり肌寒いので、羽織る物があった方が良いかと思います。
また、大きな船とは言え、結構常に揺れていたので、心配な方は酔い止めの薬があった方が良さそうです。
コロナに関しては、テーブルの間隔が狭く、少々不安でした。ほとんどの方がマスクをしていないですし、ビュフェは皆触る所が同じなので、気になる方は消毒等個人で持参された方が良いと思います。
ビーチからのサンセットも勿論素敵ですが、クルーズサンセットも良い思い出になりました。

Even at one and a half years old, we had a great time! 一歳半でも楽しめました！

I attended with my baby, and we both had a great time dancing and singing throughout! I had arranged for transportation, but I was a bit flustered when the bus we were supposed to take left without us. However, we were able to get on another bus, so it wasn't a problem. I think it would be good to confirm the number of passengers, though. Other than that, everything was perfect, and we had so much fun! I will definitely participate again!

I sat towards the center tables to the left. I couldnt see anything because the performers sit too low on the stage. Also many people in the front seats (as if they already not happy enough with their view) would stand up and block our view. I missed the fire show. :(

This was my husband and my first time in Hawaii and we booked this sunset dinner cruise to celebrate our honeymoon. We were amazed by the way we were received, we booked the 5 course meal package which was to die for. Their food is amazing! Going up to the dock of the boat and watching the sunset was the Cherry on top. We got amazing pictures and the atmosphere was perfect. Then we came back inside to enjoy watching the dancers perform. It was a perfect and relaxing cruise.

I made a reservation to create memories in Hawaii during my honeymoon. Before boarding, there was a hula show in front of the ship, and guests with the 5-star package are guided first. Right after being guided, we had a photo opportunity with the captain, and were served a welcome drink and appetizers, followed by commemorative photos on the deck and the hula show—there was so much to enjoy.

When I used the service, it seemed that there were not many 5-star reservations, and the occupancy of the 5-star section was about 40%. There was plenty of space between seats, and the ship felt spacious, so I didn't have any concerns about infection prevention. All the staff were not wearing masks, which might make some guests uncomfortable.

There were about ten couples, along with two groups celebrating birthdays. The food was delicious and served in just the right portions, leaving me satisfied. The staff who served us were polite, and the drinks were large enough that the three drink tickets were more than enough.

Along the way, there were hula shows, jazz performances, and dance time, making it a wonderful memory fitting for a special occasion.

I highly recommend this experience for couples visiting Hawaii for their honeymoon or birthdays!

The hotel shuttle bus was beautiful, and they even played music while we boarded the ship, which really lifted our spirits. It seems that the floors are different depending on the star rating, with the 5-star guests on the top floor, and the deck area exclusive to 5-star guests where you can enjoy the sunset and fireworks, creating a very VIP atmosphere. The food and drinks were delicious, and overall it was a great cruise. However, wanting to enjoy the sunset and fireworks on the deck made it difficult to have a leisurely meal. Additionally, the seating is close to the next table, so you might get talked to by the person next to you. While that could be part of the travel experience, it might feel a bit uncomfortable if you want to have a quiet time just for the two of you.

This experience was absolutely great! The view of the sunset from the top of Haleakalā volcano leaves anyone speechless and looking at the stars surrounded by the complete dark and the complete silence is astonishing. Yoshi is the perfect guide: he knows everything about Maui and he is an amazing guest. He bought us donuts, he gave us hot tea and sweets, and he had coats and gloves to face the cold. Visiting Maui is something you can't miss.

I participated in the Sunset Dinner Cruise on August 26, 2022. The weather was nice, and I was seated in a spot where a pleasant breeze was blowing. We were welcomed with a drink.

The food included salad, appetizers (buffet), and the lobster had a visually appealing portion with just the right amount of flavor. The steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. With the ticket, you could choose up to two drinks, and for those who wanted more, additional orders were available, so be careful not to drink too much!

We were also able to see fireworks from Hilton, and there was a show to enjoy on board. It was a wonderful time that I will remember, and I would love to participate in this cruise again.

Kind of disappointed…

The show was overall good, especially the fire dance at the end. And the chief is quite talented because he needs to run the show, tell jokes and play drums.

Anyway,
This luau is inside the water park, and we use the restroom inside the water park which is a 5 minutes away from the luau place. Before the sun goes down, it’s very hot and sweaty. And we don’t have much space while seating. The experience was not pleasant.

Also, after everyone takes a picture and ready to seat down, they give u a cup of mai tai and takes one of the drink tickets. Don’t take that Mai Tai drink right away, just go to the bar section for the drinks.

And there are one thing I can’t figure it out, before the buffet starts, they showed us a roast pig and said this is gonna be one of the main course tonight. And everyone go line up for the buffet, the only dish pork-related is the pull pork which has nothing to do with the roast pig for sure. And they didn’t cut the roast pig in front of everyone. It looks like the roast pig is one of the actor for the luau.

For the price we are paying, we expect more.

It was a once in a lifetime experience. Our tour guide was real friendly and knowledgeable. He showed us a shopping center on our way. He serve crispy krispy cream donuts and tea. Shared his knowledge and showed us Jupiter, the craters of the moon and constellations. The drive up did not take very long. It was freezing during the night so put on layers. Watching the sunset was beautiful.

I booked the Three Star tour. 85% of the guests were present. Among them, about 40% were Japanese, which shows that Japanese people really enjoy this tour. The lobster was the easiest to eat of all I've had so far, and it was wonderfully prepared, allowing me to finish everything.

The pre-show activities ? None of those happened.
I was really looking forward to experience their culture but NO. When we got there, we were welcomed (speech and all that) then lined up for food and drinks then the show started.

I paid for a VIP royal package expecting my experience will be smooth… The only distinction between VIP and non VIP is the table arrangement and priority line for food but doesn’t apply if you wanna get drinks… which was very inconvenient.

Bottom line, I didn’t get my money’s worth.

Beginning with our pickup, through drop off, our trip was fantastic. Our tour guide was the best. Our first stop was to see city sights and he allowed us time for pictures along with him taking our group pictures. The battleship was fascinating and of course Pearl Harbour was very touching. Great tour.
