I'm grateful that the captain tells us which direction to look for the whales. In fact, there were several whales in that direction, but we could only see their dorsal fins, which was disappointing.

A small boat was quite close to the whales, so even though it was a bit rocky, being in a smaller boat might allow you to feel the size and power of the whales more.

Breakfast was delicious, but I felt it was a bit pricey for what you get...

This was a great tour! Our driver/guide had lots of fun stories about history and culture of everything we saw. It was a good amount of time at each place.

The USS Missouri is great. Take the guided tour! Our guide had some great stories. I also enjoyed having time to explore on my own.

The USS Arizona Memorial and other memorials were very humbling. So grateful for the men and women who sacrificed their lives that day so I can enjoy the freedom I now have. It was quite humbling to stand over the tomb of those men in the USS Arizona. I also enjoyed the Walk of Honour. My only regret was not having enough time to explore the other things in and around that site.

This was a great starter tour to show me what I might like to do next time. The company from booking to resort pick-up and drop off to not having to navigate the traffic made it well worth the investment. I highly recommend this for everyone. I learned a lot!

I also greatly appreciated the poncho to use as we had rain off and on all day. Unexpected but awesome bonus!

On the way to Haleakalā, we enjoyed various stories about Maui and were introduced to affordable and rare souvenirs, making the journey to the summit fly by without a dull moment.

Once we reached the summit, the seamless explanations continued, and we efficiently took photos in groups without missing the magic hour shutter opportunities.

During the stargazing, we were provided with chairs, gloves, blankets, and warm barley tea, which was greatly appreciated. It was amazing to clearly observe the lunar surface through a high-powered telescope!

Compared to a similar tour I participated in on the Big Island, the level of excitement was completely different. Listening to the guide, Mr. Yamauchi, share his heartfelt stories while gazing at the stars was a touching experience I hadn't had in a while. I hope this tour continues for as long as possible.

This was my first time visiting Hawaii during this season. I signed up with the mindset of just being lucky if I could see anything, but it turned out to be an amazing memory. I signed up for the Star of Honolulu tour because it promised less rocking. I didn't know that we had to stay 100 yards away from the whales until we boarded the ship, so I was disappointed by the difference from the impactful photos in the brochure. The crew pointed out the direction of the whales several times, but they mentioned that the splashes were far away, so the people around couldn't see them either.

If you're taking a cruise ship for the first time, I think you'll enjoy the atmosphere. A pod of about 20 dolphins appeared right next to the ship, and there was a cheer from everyone there.

I thought it would be lucky if I could see it, but I was actually disappointed that I couldn't. I kept wondering if it would happen, and then it just ended. I guess it was nice to enjoy the cruise, though. I would like to reboard if possible, but I was told I need to make a reservation by phone, and I'm hesitant because I'm not confident in my English skills.

I boarded with children aged 5, 3, and 0.
It's a comfortable tour for families!
I didn't mind the rocking at all.

Since it starts early in the morning, we brought sandwiches and snacks.
Snacking while looking at Diamond Head and Waikiki Beach was the best.

Unfortunately, we only caught a glimpse of a whale from a distance.
However, we encountered a pod of dolphins and saw dozens of them!
It was amazing!!

I think it's great for elderly people and families with children.

From the moment Sean picked us up we knew we were going to have a great time with his warm welcoming fun personality and his Aloha Spirit.

His knowledge of both 5-0 series was incredible along with life on the island and other filming areas that go on on the island as well as several historic events for the islands.

He showed us the offices for both series as well as where they lived on the series. As he try to take us by the studio it was blocked off because of the recent tragic deaths of one of Honolulu’s officers Processions was about to begin. He pointed out where the tragedy had occurred.

We went to the Overlook where Danny goes during the show often then off to McGarret’s House for lunch.

Lunch was very good and he pointed out several things that have been shot there from the show.

He was very gracious and was always there to take any and all photos we want it. The weather was nice, and we were able to see a big rainbow along the way! The whales didn't show themselves much, but they did blow water and revealed their large bodies above the surface! It was moving! They continued to blow water, but they didn't show themselves much after that; however, this time they showed their big tails! It seemed a bit difficult to see them from the front like in the advertisements, but I'm glad I woke up early to participate! For breakfast, there were bread, sausage, scrambled eggs, rice, and several types of fruit.

天気も良くて途中大きな虹も見ることが出来ました！肝心のクジラはなかなか姿を見せてくれなかったけど、潮を吹いて大きな体を水面から見せてくれました！感動しました！その後も潮を吹くけどなかなか姿は見せてくれませんでしたが、今度は大きな尾っぽを見せてくれました！広告になっていたような頭から姿を見るのはちょっと難しそうですが、早起きして参加してよかったです！朝ごはんはパン、ソーセージ、スクランブルエッグ、ライス、フルーツ数種類ありました。

If you don't see anything, it would be nice to have an option for the next ticket, as some people can go and some cannot, such as offering a "compensation gift."

I was able to see whales from quite a distance. The view of Diamond Head from the ocean was also great, and you can enjoy it even alone. The food was a bit disappointing, so it might be better to eat at the hotel.

It was the rainy season, and with the cloudy weather, I had almost given up on seeing the sunset and the starry sky, but I was able to enjoy both during the breaks in the clouds. Unfortunately, it wasn't a completely clear starry sky, but even with all the haze, I could see some stars, which made me think how beautiful the sky must be when the weather is good. I definitely want to come back for a revenge trip.

The guide quickly showed us the stars through a telescope, along with easy-to-understand explanations, and shared various experiences, reminding us that we are all the same Earthlings in this vast universe. The guide had previously been a manager for a super BIG band! During the trip, he didn't mention anything about that, but on the way back, my husband wondered if the participant who was chatting with the guide might be a band member. When we arrived at the hotel, he asked the guide, and it turned out to be true! Thank you for such a valuable experience.

雨季でしたし、曇り空の行程に、半ばサンセット＆星空を諦めていましたが、雲が途切れる合間にどちらも楽しむことが出来ました。
残念ながら満天の星空とはいきませんでしたが、あれだけガスが出ていても星が見えましたので、お天気が良ければさぞかし美しい星空なんだろうな～と思い眺めていました。いずれ必ずリベンジしたいと思います。
僅かな雲の切れ間から見えた星々を、判り易い解説とともに望遠鏡で手早く見せて頂けたこと、壮大な宇宙の中ではみんな同じ地球人であることなど、様々な経験をされてこられたガイドさんのお話しは、楽しくまた学びのある内容でした。かつて超BIGなバンドのマネージャーをされていたというガイドさん！行程中のお話しでは一切そういった内容には触れられていなかったのですが、帰りの車中で”ガイドさんと仲良くお話しをされてる参加者の方は、もしかしてバンドメンバーの方？”と思った主人が、ホテル到着の際ガイドさんに伺ったところ判明！！！とても貴重な体験をさせて頂きありがとうございました。

Before departing from Japan, the weather forecast predicted cloudy rain, but it turned out to be sunny, as we say in Japan. The pick-up was smooth, and after boarding, we had a light snack while the captain gave an explanation. Then we had free time and went to the upper deck. After about 20 minutes, the captain announced that we were heading towards 1 o'clock, and we could see the spouting. After that, every 20 minutes or so, we were able to see the spouting and tails, and I was able to take photos with a telephoto lens. On the way back, we were also lucky enough to see dolphins. The boat accommodated 1,500 people, and I didn't feel much rocking, so it was comfortable. The upper deck can be quite windy and chilly, so having a windbreaker would be a good idea.

日本出発前は、曇り雨予報でしたが、結局は、日本でいう晴れでした。送迎もスムーズで、乗船後、軽食を採りながら船長の説明があった後、フリーとなり、屋上デッキへ。20分くらいして船長から1時の方向とアナウンスがあり、潮吹きが見えました。その後も20分くらい置きに、潮吹き、尻尾を見ることができ、望遠レンズで写真も撮れました。帰りには、イルカも見ることが出来、ラッキーでした。船も1500人乗りで、揺れもそんなに感じること無く快適でした。屋上は、風が強く肌寒いので、ウインドブレーカーがあるといいです。
