The cruise staff were all very helpful and welcoming. The pineapple banana bread was one of the best I have ever had! I would recommend this activity to all friends and family that come to Oahu

The wind was strong and the waves were high, so unfortunately, we couldn't see any whales. However, the boat hardly rocked, and we enjoyed delicious pineapple banana cake and coffee. The information about the whales was only in English, but they talked a lot, and I was able to learn various things using Google Translate. We were so disappointed with our Sunset Dinner Cruise this week.
Why oh why, when a company has it just right, do they get greedy and take away the finesse?
Having taken the steak & lobster package last year, we were so looking forward to repeating the experience - but it failed to live up to expectations.
The singer couldn't sing; we had to queue for our starter (only lettuce plated at the table; the lobster was not prepared, we were provided with lobster crackers and a pick (not what we were expecting, dressed in our best clothes); there was no finger bowl or wet wipe; our steaks were cold and the server came so infrequently we did not get to use two of our drinks vouchers.
Shame on you.

This was my first time participating in a whale watching tour. I requested a hotel pickup, and the pickup location was at the Hyatt at 7:25 AM. We arrived at 7:10 AM. There were various tour buses coming and going, and starting around 7:20 AM, I began asking the drivers of the arriving buses if they were the one we were supposed to take.

The bus finally arrived at 7:35 AM, and I felt relieved. I informed an elderly couple who were also participating and we boarded the bus. However, we didn’t leave right away; it seemed the staff were waiting for other participants who hadn’t arrived yet. The missing participant showed up at 7:45 AM, and we finally departed. However, at two more pickup locations, we waited for additional participants, and we arrived at the port at 8:50 AM. I was impressed by the staff's dedication in waiting for everyone.

After that, we boarded the boat, but it seemed we were the last ones from the bus, as the other participants had already finished their snacks. I looked for an available seat and took a moment to relax, but I didn’t know where the snack area was. I then noticed that others from our bus had snacks, which helped me find out where the snack area was.

The staff at the snack area were very polite, and when I later asked about the restroom, they kindly explained in English so I could understand. We set sail shortly after, and the other participants began heading to the deck, so I hurried to grab a snack and followed them.

Once on the deck, I was amazed by the views of Waikiki, Diamond Head, and the vastness of the ocean. Just that alone made me feel glad I participated. Thanks to the hard work of the captain and crew, we were able to see whales a few times, even from a distance. I would definitely like to do this again.

デッキに上がるとワイキキの街並みやダイヤモンドヘッドや海の雄大さに感激しました
これだけでも参加して良かったと思いました
船長始め乗組員達の懸命な働きにより数度遠いながら鯨を見る事が出来ました

I strongly suggest this tour on your disembarking day on Pride of America. Our flight not until 10:00 pm so we wanted something to do during the day and this was perfect. We got to spend three hours at Pearl Harbor then had a tour of the city. Our guide was amazing and very knowledgeable. He then dropped us off at the airport with plenty of time before our flight. It was a perfect last day tour!!

There were too few staff members for the number of guests. The service was very poor. First, when I ordered an additional wine, they took my credit card and didn't return with either the wine or the card for about 20 minutes. When I went to ask about it, I found out that the wine had gone to another table. Furthermore, they said it was sold out, so they handed me two other bottles of wine instead.

Including us, the food service for the surrounding tables was very slow, and even at 11 PM, the main dishes of lobster and steak had not arrived. Some people didn't even receive their drinks. Since our drinks hadn't come, we had to go get them ourselves. I was starting to think we would welcome the New Year without eating the main course, but finally, around 11:30 PM, the main dishes arrived.

After the fireworks, they served dessert and coffee, but it varied by table. The enjoyment was halved. It was very disappointing.

Since I participated in the party, I realized that being lively isn't really my nature. If you enjoy a bustling atmosphere, this might be great for you. I think it's especially recommended for those attending in larger groups.

⚫︎ Pickup
It was very smooth. The return was also easy to understand.

⚫︎ Seating
We participated as a pair but were seated at a table for eight. Perhaps out of consideration, we were guided to a table where only Japanese people were seated. There are also two-person tables, so if you arrive early, you might be able to get a two-person table.

⚫︎ About the servers
Everyone working on the ship was kind. However, there were some issues, such as the bread that was already placed on other tables not being prepared for ours (even when we asked, it took a while to be provided), and there was quite a difference in the speed of food service. I felt there might not have been enough servers for the number of participants. The servers had a considerable workload, so it seems that either there were too few servers or too many passengers for the service to keep up.

We were served one drink, salad, lobster and steak, and dessert. The lobster and steak were quite delicious! The meat was tender! The dessert was just okay, I would say. 船内で働く人は皆親切でした。しかし、他のテーブルには最初から置かれているパンが自分たちのテーブルには用意されていなかったり（声をかけてもなかなか提供されなかった）、料理の提供スピードにかなり差があったりと、参加者に見合った人数のサーバーがいないのかなと感じました。
サーバーの皆様はかなりの仕事量であったため、それでもサービスが追いついていないのはサーバーの数が少ないか乗客が多すぎるかのどちらかではないでしょうか。

⚫︎料理について
ドリンク一杯、サラダ、ロブスターとステーキ、デザートが提供されました。
ロブスターとステーキは結構美味しかったです！お肉が柔らかかった！デザートは普通に美味しいかな、という感じでした。
ただ、先程記載した通り、同テーブル内で料理の提供スピードにかなり差があり、メインを食べ終わっている人もいるなか、メインが提供されていない人もいる、という状況でした。
食後のドリンクは間に合わず、下船までに提供されませんでした。

⚫︎ショーについて

Although the tour was conducted because it was said that the summit was above the clouds, even above 2000 meters, we were still in the clouds. At the summit, we couldn't see much because we were surrounded by clouds. The tour conditions state that there may be times when the weather is bad and the scenery cannot be enjoyed, so there was no cash back for the participation fee, but they mentioned that the next attempt would be free of charge.
