We participated as a family of four. It was greatly appreciated that the children's fees were free. We didn't know if we would see whales until we boarded, but we joined with the expectation that if we didn't see any, we could still enjoy cruising on the Star of Honolulu! Fortunately, we were lucky enough to see whales three times. While we couldn't see the whales' faces, we were able to see their spouts and impressive tails, which left both the kids and adults very satisfied.

家族4人で参加しました。子供の費用が無料だったのは大変ありがたかったです。
鯨が見れるかは乗船してみるまでわからないけど、まあ見れなかったらスターオブホノルルでクルージングを楽しむ！という期待感で参加しましたが、ラッキーなことに3回も鯨を見ることができました。
さすがに鯨の顔を見ることはできませんでしたが、潮吹きと立派な鯨の尻尾を見ることができて、子供も大人も大満足でした。

All the crew were knowledgeable, friendly and super helpful. Didn't see any whales but we had a great time anyway!

As the title suggests, the beauty of the scenery and the number of marine creatures visible greatly differ depending on where you sit. Inside the submarine, the seating is divided into the right and left rows, and this time, the left row was overwhelmingly better (we were in the right row). However, for us ordinary people who rarely have the chance to explore the ocean, it is undoubtedly a valuable experience. I believe this is one event you should definitely participate in when you come to Hawaii.

タイトルの通り、座る席で景色の美しさや見られる海洋生物の数が大きく異なる。潜水艦の中は右列と左列で分かれており、今回の潜水は圧倒的に左列が良かった（※自分達は右列でした）。ただし、なかなか海の中を冒険する機会がない我々一般人にとっては、貴重な体験となることは間違いない。
是非、ハワイに来た際は参加すべきイベントの１つだと思います。

As soon as we boarded, we had a buffet-style lunch. After finishing, we went out to the deck and felt the wind while heading out to Waikiki. The view of the hotels in Waikiki and Diamond Head was stunning, and just that alone made me feel great and glad to have participated.

The long-awaited whales appeared, with a pod of about four spouting water and showing their backs and tails repeatedly.

And then, one finally jumped! It leaped vertically, showing us its white and black mottled belly. Lucky!

During the latter part of the cruise, many participants had returned inside the ship, so it was worth staying outside. It was sudden and brief, so I couldn't take a photo, but it was a whale watching tour that left a lasting impression and was very satisfying.

乗船してすぐブッフェ式のランチ。食べ終えて外のデッキへ出て風に吹かれながら、ワイキキ沖へ出て行くと、ワイキキのホテル群、ダイヤモンドヘッドの景色が素晴らしく、まずはそれだけでも気持ちよくて、参加してよかったと思いました。

待望のクジラは、四頭ほどの群れが潮吹き、背中や尻尾を何度も何度も見せてくれました。

そして、ついに一頭がジャンプ！
縦に垂直に上半身あたり(？)まで飛んで、こちらに白っぽくて黒いまだら模様のあるお腹側を見せてくれました。ラッキー！

クルージング後半で、参加者の多くは船内に戻っていた時間帯、外で頑張っていた甲斐がありました。突然で、一瞬だったので写真は撮れなかったけど、目に焼き付けて大満足のホエールウォッチングツアーとなりました。

Unfortunately, we couldn't see any whales. However, we had a beautiful view of Waikiki and Diamond Head. They were distributing free tickets (without meals) when we got off. We didn't order any meals, but it was possible to order meals on the day of the event.

残念ながら、クジラは見れませんでした。でも、ワイキキの街とダイヤモンドヘッドがとてもきれいに見れました。降りる際に、無料の券（食事はつかない）を配布していました。私たちは、食事を申し込みませんでしたが、当日でも食事の申し込みは出来ました。

I signed up at the request of my children. I was worried about my 4-year-old and 6-year-old, but they were able to shake hands with the dolphins. They said kissing them smelled like fish, so they didn't do that (laughs). The dolphin pool was deeper than I expected, and since the kids couldn't touch the bottom, I had to hold them the whole time. We signed up for the first time slot in the morning, and after it was over, we were able to relax by having a meal in the park, watching the dolphin show, and playing on the playground equipment.

子供のリクエストで申し込みました。4歳と6歳の子供たち、大丈夫かなと心配していましたが、イルカと握手出来ました。キスは魚の匂いがすると言ってやりませんでしたが（笑）イルカのプールは思ったよりも深く、子供たちは足がつかないのでずっと抱っこしていました。朝一番の時間で申し込みましたが、終わって、パークの中で食事したり、イルカショーを見たり、遊具で遊んだりとゆったり過ごせました。

VERY FRIENDLY STAFF BOTH AT SUTTLE PICK UP AND ON THE CRUISE. THE MAJESTIC (ATLANTIS) SHIP IS VERY CLEAN AS EXPECTED WITH VERY GOOD CREW MEMBERS. THE NATURALIST EXPLAINED WHAT WHALES ARE DOING IN THE HAWAII AREA. FOR ALL OF MY FAMILY THE SEAS AND WEATHER WAS NO PROBLEM WITH THE SIZE OF THIS VESSEL. SEAS WERE ABOUT 3 TO 4 FEET WITH TRADE WINDS AT 15 MPH. SO FOR ALL OF US VERY NICE. REMEMBER THIS IS HAWAII. WARM YES.

I participated in a morning tour without breakfast. It's convenient because you can go shopping in the afternoon after joining the morning tour. However, the tour only had explanations in English, which was very inconvenient. We saw the tails of three whales. The journey took about two and a half hours out at sea.

早朝の朝食なしツアーに参加しました。早朝のに参加すると午後ショッピングに出かけられるので便利です。ツアー自体は英語の説明だけでしたのでとても不便でした。クジラは3頭テール（尻尾）が見れました。海に出て約2時間半くらいの行程です。

You have to do this activity! If you love sea creatures, and have not done this before, go for it! The Hula Kai is the way to go. Other tours are available, but the Hula Kai us the best outfit. Plan it early in the trip. It is highly unlikely that the Mantas will not show up, but if they don't, go again. It is only a couple of hours, and a reliable great time. You don't need to be an experienced snorkel / scuba person, they have a system all worked out. Very easy in and out of the water. Go for it!

It was fun, but it was cold at the location, and the pool was chilly. I was surprised that the photos were too expensive. I hope there is a tour that includes photos.

The staff were very friendly, and I was able to have a great time throughout. I encountered a pod of dolphins several times, and during snorkeling, I was able to see a sea turtle up close, even touching it.

スタッフの方はとても親切で終始楽しく過ごすことができました。
イルカの群れにも数回遭遇でき、またシュノーケル時はウミガメを触れるくらいの近さで見ることができました。

I participated with great expectations, having gone to bed early the night before and being fully prepared, knowing that I could go snorkeling while watching wild dolphins. We boarded the dolphin-numbered bus and traveled for about an hour to the port, where the guide was very entertaining. Listening to their stories made the time fly, and we arrived at the port in no time. It was mentioned in advance on the bus, but I think wearing a wetsuit is essential. Everyone in the group was wearing one. Once we entered the water and returned to the boat, it was quite cold even with the wetsuit on. There were several sizes of wetsuits available, and they asked for our preferences in advance, so it fit perfectly.

Upon arriving at the port, I first went to the restroom, then put on my wetsuit and boarded the boat. Once we were out at sea, we were able to see a seal first. There was just one, but it was very cute. Then, we finally reached the dolphin point. I was deeply moved to see a pod of dolphins right in front of me. There were probably around 100 of them, surrounding us on all sides. Among the dolphins, there were also baby dolphins.

That wasn't all. We moved to another point and were able to see sea turtles as well. On the way back to the port after snorkeling, the spam onigiri served on the boat was very delicious. I wanted to eat another one. The guide had said in advance, "Dolphin school is strict, so make sure to keep up," but it was not like that at all; the atmosphere was enjoyable throughout, and I had a valuable experience that became the highlight of my trip to Hawaii.

野生のイルカを見ながらシュノーケリングができるとあって、大きな期待を胸に前日は早めに就寝し準備万端で参加させていただきました。イルカナンバーのバスに乗り込み港まで約1時間移動するのですが、ガイドさんがとても面白い方で、話を楽しく聞いているとあっという間に港に到着しました。バスの中で事前に案内されていましたがウエットスーツは必須だと思います。参加者全員着用していました。海に入りボートに戻るとウエットスーツを着ていても相当寒かったです。ウエットスーツは幾つかサイズがあり事前に希望を聞いて用意してくれるのでジャストフィットです。
港に着くとまずトイレに行き、その後ウエットスーツを着て船に乗り込みます。
海に出てから、最初にアザラシを見ることができました。一頭でしたがとてもかわいかったです。そして、いよいよイルカポイントです。イルカの群れを目の前で見ることができとても感動しました。たぶん、100頭はいたと思います。前後左右イルカだらけです。イルカの群れの中には赤ちゃんイルカもいました。
それだけではありません。別のポイントに移動しウミガメも見ることができました。
シュノーケリングが終了し港に戻る途中、ボートで出されたスパムおにぎりはとてもおいしかったです。もう一つ食べたかった。
事前にガイドさんが「イルカ中学はスパルタなのでちゃんとついて来てね」と言ってましたが、特にそんなこともなく終始楽しい雰囲気で貴重な経験ができ大満足で今回のハワイ旅行の一番の思い出になりました。

I participated with my child who is under three years old. My husband and I planned to take turns going into the sea while one of us stayed on the boat with our child, but since the group went a bit far from the boat, that plan turned out to be difficult. In the end, we sat our son on a surfboard and both of us snorkeled with the other participants. At first, our child was scared and crying, but gradually he got used to it and said, "I'm not scared anymore." The staff were very kind to our youngest son, holding him so we could enjoy ourselves without worrying about him, and they were incredibly helpful.

I wasn't sure about the meeting place, but when I called the contact number, they kindly explained the location and even sent a photo of the map to my phone.

We had a great time, but I think it might be difficult for children under three to participate, depending on the staff.

3歳未満の子供と参加しました。主人と交代で海に入り、どちらかが子供と一緒に船上で待っていようと計画していましたが団体が少し船から離れたところまで行くので実際はその計画は難しく、結局サーフボードに息子を座らせて夫婦同時に他の参加者と共にシュノーケルをしました。はじめ子供は怖がっていて泣きべそをかいていましたがだんだん慣れて「もう怖くない」と言っていました。スタッフも最年少の息子にとても優しく、私たちが息子のことを気にかけず楽しめるように抱っこしてくれたり申し訳ないほど親切にしてもらいました。

集合場所もよく分からなかったのですが連絡先に電話を入れたらとても丁寧に場所を教えてくれて私の携帯に地図の写真まで送ってくれました。

とても楽しめましたがスタッフによっては３歳未満の参加は難しいかと思います。

We didn't saw much of the whales as hoped for, but the skipper plus his mate were entertaining enough to make the tour memorable, also we and other family had practically the entire tour for ourselves.

Team was friendly and professional, with lots of humor.

Since I went to the Big Island, I absolutely wanted to see a manta ray! With high spirits, I joined this tour. I was really excited until I got into the water, but... since it was December, the water temperature was cold, and the waves were quite strong, so the conditions weren't great. Once I got in the water, it was really cold, and even though I took motion sickness medication, I ended up feeling seasick. I stayed in the water for 30 minutes, determined to see at least one manta ray, and I was able to see a few! The excitement I felt when I saw them was truly beyond words! However, I couldn't last until the end and had to get back on the boat after 30 minutes, feeling groggy... but this is also a memory of my trip.

The instructor, Torichan, was a very cheerful Japanese person, which made me feel really at ease. They lent us their personal windbreaker since we were feeling seasick and offered us warm drinks.

It was easy to communicate in Japanese, which was nice.

I want to see manta rays up close again, so I think I'll try for a rematch during the warmer season!

ハワイ島に行ったからには、絶対にマンタを見たい‼︎と、気合いいっぱいでこちらのツアーに参加しました。
海に入るまではノリノリでしたが…
12月という事もあって、水温は冷たくたまたま波のうねりも強く、とても良いコンディションとは言えませんでした。
海に入ると、とっても寒くて酔い止めを飲んでいましたが波酔いもしてしまいました。
一目でもマンタを見たいとねばり30分海に入ってて、数枚のマンタを見れました！
見た時の感動はほんとうに計り知れないものでした！
ただ、最後までは頑張れず30分で船に上がりグロッキー状態でしたが…笑
これも、旅の思い出です。

た。船酔いしてる私たちに私物のウインドブレーカーを貸してくれたり、暖かい飲み物をくれたり。

日本語でやり取りできるから楽ちんでした。

もっともっと、近くでマンタが見たいので今度は暖かいシーズンでリベンジしたと思います！

The entire experience was FANTASTIC! The tour guide was fun, happy and so very informative. He played music, there was plenty of humor and attended to all ages! The boat was clean and loads of fun to be on! We saw a few whales in the distance, saw lots of turtles and even got to swim way out in the ocean as we sailed along! Our 4 yr old son LOVED the boat and couldn't get enough of swimming in the ocean all around the boat! December 2016

All participants were Japanese, and we were fortunate to have a Japanese trainer. We were able to enjoy interacting with the dolphins without worrying about the language barrier. There was also an explanation about a rare dolphin-whale hybrid, which piqued our interest even more. During other times, we were able to see turtles and sharks as well. We could purchase photos and a DVD, which helped us create wonderful memories. The DVD contains footage of all participants from the same session, so it was great that we only needed one since we went as a pair.

参加者全員が日本人で、運よく日本人トレーナーさんに当たりました。
言葉を気にせずイルカとの触れ合いを楽しめました。
珍しいイルカとクジラのハーフの子がいるといった説明もあり、さらに興味がわきました。
ほかの時間はカメやサメなども見ることが出来ました。
写真、DVDも購入でき、良い思い出を残せました。
DVDは同じ回の参加者全員分の映像が収められていますので、２人で行きましたがDVDは一つにしてよかったです。

It was the rainy season in Honolulu, but we were blessed with good weather and spent a fun few days there. On the last day, we participated in this tour. Unfortunately, we didn't encounter any wildlife, but as everyone has mentioned, it's nature, so there's nothing we can do about it (^^;

However, at the end, we received a compensation slip. Since it was the last day, I thought it would be nice to offer a small refund or even a commemorative postcard for those who missed out. It would change the feeling of disappointment and make us more excited to come back and see them next time!

But all the staff members were great♪ Thank you very much!

雨季のホノルルでしたが、天候に恵まれ
楽しい数日間を過ごし、最終日にこのツアーに参加しました。
あいにく遭遇できませんでしたが、皆さん書かれているように、自然の生き物ですから仕方ないですね(^^;

ただ最後に、補償の紙をいただきましたが
最終日でしたし
そういう人のためには少しでも返金
もしくは記念のポストカード１枚でもあると
残念感が違うし、今度は見るぞ！という気分にさせるのでは？と思いました。

でも、staffの方はみんな良かったです♪

As the season was coming to an end, I thought it might not be possible, and indeed, I couldn't see them. The staff kept searching around the sea, but it seems they weren't nearby.

However, I did receive a proper refund. I want to try again next time, so I gave it two stars with hope.

シーズンが終わりに近づいていたので、もしかしたらだめかも、と思っていましたが、やはり、見れませんでした。
ずっと海原をまわって、スタッフの片は探し続けてくれていましたが、近くにいなかったようです。

しかし、きちんと返金はしてもらえました。
次回チャレンジしたいので、期待をこめて星2つにしました。

The crew on this trip were excellent! We had the whole boat to ourselves. The captain of the boat went out of his way to show us everything we wanted to see. We saw turtles and also saw some dolphins
In the distance. The Crew were very knowledgable and made the experience very worthwhile! The captain knew a lot about the history of the island and talked us through it, throughout the ride. I would recommend this and will recommend this.
The boat ride was excellent! We really enjoyed the trip and this topped it off!
When we saw the dolphins the driver tried to get as close as possible to them before they swam off. The glass bottom allowed is
To see the Bottom of the ocean which was remarkable. The crew were very helpful and made the experience much better!
They pointed out turtles and dolphins, they explained the usual patterns and they gave us advice on what to see around the island and the best spots to visit.

My husband and I enjoyed the evening of going out on a canoe and then getting in the water and holding on to a lighted surf board to observing the huge mantas come right up to you! The young crew members were very friendly and helpful. They did provide a wet suit top but I regretted not having my full wet suit. Although it is in the "warm" Hawaiian water- after 30 minutes the water does steal your bodies warmth. So that would be my only suggestion to the average tourist. Despite the cold near the end, it was such a unique encounter that the amazing mantas- we were thrilled!

I don't think there are many opportunities to ride on a submarine. The interior was surprisingly spacious, and from a large round window shared by two people, we could see cute fish. We were also able to see two turtles, which are said to bring happiness if spotted. It was a valuable experience.

潜水艦に乗れる機会なんて、なかなかないと思います。
艦内は意外と広く2人で1枚の大きな丸い窓から可愛いお魚や沈没させて魚の棲家にしているようですが、見られると幸せが訪れると言われるカメを2匹も見ることが出来ました。貴重な体験でした。

It was beautiful underwater although I expected that we would see more coral reefs and fish. It was great to see the wreckages but I was underwhelmed by it all. I am a SCUBA diver and was expecting a bit more.

I participated in early November. I was worried about the cold for the night activity, but thanks to the wetsuit I rented, I didn't feel too cold underwater. If the waiting time underwater is long, it might be tough. Fortunately, we only waited about five minutes, and more than three mantas came to us, which made me forget the cold in amazement. The graceful mantas gliding right in front of me were breathtaking! The bright white bellies of the mantas illuminated by the lights stood out against the night sea, making it feel almost unreal. They kept coming until we got back on the surface, and I enjoyed it until the very end.

Once we got back on the boat, my body felt heavier than I expected, and the cold was tough. I'm glad I brought a thick towel and a windbreaker. Also, despite taking motion sickness medicine, I felt nauseous from the waves and couldn't drink cocoa.

Unfortunately, we couldn't see the sunset, so I’ll give it a ☆-1. However, I was very satisfied with the main manta experience! I would definitely recommend it to my friends.

11月初旬に参加しました。夜のアクティビティのため寒さが心配でしたが、借りたウェットスーツのおかげか水中ではあまり寒さを感じませんでした。水中での待機時間が長いとこたえるかもしれません。幸いにも私たちの場合は5分ほど待っただけで3枚以上のマンタが来てくれたので、感動で寒さも吹き飛びました。目の前を優雅に翻るマンタは圧巻です！ライトに照らされたマンタの真っ白な腹部が夜の海に映え、現実のこととは思えないほどでした。水上に上がるまで繰り返しマンタが来てくれて、最後まで満喫できました。
船上に上がってからは思った以上に体が重く、寒さがこたえました。厚手のタオルとウインドブレーカーを持って行ってよかったです。また、酔い止め薬を飲んで行ったのにも関わらず波酔いをしたのか、胸がむかむかしてココアが飲めませんでした。
残念ながら夕日が見られなかったので、☆-1つ。でも、メインのマンタを満喫できたので大満足です！友達にも勧めたいと思います。

I went on a honeymoon with my husband. The first time, the waves were too high, and it was canceled, but since we had a long stay, we rebooked and were able to participate the second time! During the first attempt, we were informed on the boat that it was canceled, which was disappointing. The staff tried to be considerate by throwing food from the boat, but my husband and I were whispering to each other that this wasn't what we expected and we couldn't be satisfied with that, laughing.

I often travel abroad, and I've noticed that for these kinds of optional tours, cancellations tend to be communicated at the last minute. I understand that weather and waves are natural factors, and sometimes you can only know at the last moment, but if we could be informed in advance, we could adjust our plans accordingly. I always think it would be great to know before arriving at the location to avoid wasting time.

Despite that, we had a great time because the staff at Veltra were very attentive, providing us with updates and advice, which made for a pleasant experience. The explanations were all in English, but I think you can manage by the atmosphere! The driver shared various information about the types of sharks during the bus ride, so if you can understand English, it might be enjoyable. I, on the other hand, couldn't catch much, so my husband translated for me the whole time.

Make sure to take motion sickness medication! Almost everyone else on the boat seemed to be struggling with seasickness. I took medication before and during the boat ride, so I was fine, but it really does rock a lot!

I also attached my GoPro to my wrist and took a lot of pictures! If you have an underwater camera, I recommend attaching a strap and securing it around your neck or wrist while diving.

It also depends on the driver, but the shuttle car was freezing! I think it's fine to wear a swimsuit on the way there, but please bring a simple change of clothes for the return trip! There is one restroom, but it's a small cabin-type toilet, so you can manage to change if you really try. It might be tough for those who are particular about cleanliness, but considering the freezing conditions on the way back, you can do it! It was so cold that I felt like I might catch a cold, and the drive from the North Shore to the hotel is quite long.

We saw a lot of sharks! Unfortunately, there was only one species, but seeing over ten of them was an experience I had never had before, and it was really exciting and fun!

In any case, make sure to have motion sickness medication, water, and a simple change of clothes! With just those, you'll be all set! I highly recommend this tour! Thank you so much, Veltra!

ハネムーンで主人と２人で行ってきました
１回目は波が高く中止になりましたが滞在日数が長かったので再度予約して２回目は参加できました♪１回目は船の中で今日は中止だと聞かされがっがり。。スタッフの方も気を使って船の上からエサをまいてみせてくれましたが、こんなんちゃうねん、こんなんで満足できんひんねん、と主人とこそこそつっこみまくりです笑
よく海外旅行に行きますがこのてのオプションツアーはぎりぎりになってから中止だと伝えられる傾向があるなぁと思います＾＾；天候や波などは自然のことなので本当にぎりぎりになってからでしかわからないものもあると思いますがやはり事前にわかれば予定変更の対応もできますしなんとか現地に着く前に知る事ができればいいなぁ時間ももったいないしなぁといつも思ってしまいます＾＾；それでも楽しく参加できたのはベルトラさんがご丁寧に連絡をちょこちょこくださったりアドバイスもくれたりしてとても気持ちの良い対応をしていただいたからだど思います＾＾
あとはすべて英語の説明ですが雰囲気で大丈夫だと思います笑行きのバスの中でサメの種類についてなどをドライバーさんがいろいろ伝えてくれますので英語が聞き取れる方は楽しいかもしれません＾＾私はさっぱりなので主人にずっと通訳してもらっていました笑
必ず酔い止めは必須です！私たち夫婦以外の方はほとんど船酔いでつらそうでした；；行く前と船の中でも薬を飲んで置いたので大丈夫でしたがかなり揺れます！
あと私はゴープロを手首につけてたくさん撮りました♪水中カメラなどある方はストラップをつけて首にかけるか手首に固定して潜るといいと思います＾＾
あとはドライバーさんによると思いますが送迎の車の中は極寒です笑行きは水着でもいいと思いますが帰りは簡単な着替えを持っていって着替えてください！トイレが一箇所ありますが着替えれない事はない程の小屋型のトイレなので本当に頑張って着替えてください笑潔癖の人には辛いかもしれませんが帰りの極寒のことを考えたらできます笑風邪をひきそうなほど寒くノースショアからホテルまでは割りと長い道のりなので＾＾；
自分でクーラーの温度ちょっと下げてと言えちゃいそうな勇者の方！報告お待ちしています笑

サメはたくさんみれました♪あいにく一種類しかいませんでしたが10匹以上見る経験は今までなかったのですごく興奮して楽しかったです！！
とにかく酔い止め、お水、簡単な着替え！これさえあれば完璧です！おすすめツアーです＾＾＊

Watching the dolphins move, I participated without any expectations and was pleasantly surprised to see them swimming slowly. Moreover, since it was in shallow waters, I felt very lucky.

At the turtle spot, the turtles were hiding among the rocks on the sea floor, and I regretted not taking off my wetsuit to get in. For those who can dive deeper, I recommend wearing a rash guard or similar for warmth and definitely taking off the wetsuit.

イルカの移動を見る感じだと、期待しないで参加したら、意外にゆっくり泳いでいるのが見れ、しかも浅瀬だったので、とてもラッキーでした。
亀のポイントでは、亀が海底の岩場に隠れていたので、ウェットスーツを脱いで入れば良かったと後悔しました。深く潜れる人はラッシュなどを来て寒さ対策をして、是非ウェットスーツを脱ぐ事をお勧めします。

This was my first time on the Big Island of Hawaii. I participated based on a friend's recommendation. Previously, I had joined a dolphin tour on Oahu, so I chose to see manta rays this time.

The crew was very kind, which made me feel at ease. The captain was also nice, and Ally provided explanations in Japanese, which was very helpful. We took a helicopter ride to the manta point, and it felt like an attraction similar to a banana boat. The sunset visible from the boat was incredibly beautiful and moving. I was worried about seasickness, as mentioned in other reviews, but I didn't experience any at all.

We held onto the rope attached to the surfboard and waited for the manta rays to come close. At first, they didn't appear at all, which made me anxious, but we moved to another spot where we could see the mantas. When I finally saw them, the experience was so powerful and moving.

On the way back, we were treated to hot chocolate and snacks, which was a nice surprise. The night view from the boat was also beautiful.

今回初めてのハワイ島でした。友人におすすめされて、参加しました。以前は、イルカのツアーをオアフ島で参加したので、見たことがないマンタにしました。
クルーの方もすごく優しくて、安心しました。学長さんも優しく、アリーちゃんも日本語で説明してくれたので、助かりました。
マンタのポイントまで、船のヘリに乗って、バナナボートのようなアトラクション気分で行きました。その際に、船から見える夕陽は、とても綺麗で感動しました。皆さんのレビューにあった船酔いが心配でしたが、全くそれは無かったです。

サーフボードに付いてる紐を持って、ひたすらマンタが近寄ってくるのを待つ感じでした。初めは全然現れなくて、不安でしたが、ポイントを移動して、マンタが見れるようにしてくれました。実際マンタを見ると、迫力がすごくて、とても感動しました。

帰りには、ホットチョコレートと、スナックの差し入れがあり、嬉しかったです。船から見える夜景も綺麗でした。

I thought manta rays were something to see at an aquarium (laughs), so I was really looking forward to this tour. Since it was a meet-up plan, I drove there with a rental car, but the meeting spot in the large harbor was a bit hard to find. It's best to allow a little extra time♪

The other participants were from overseas (maybe America?), and our guide, a very cute and cheerful girl named Ari, guided us in perfect Japanese as we traveled by boat for about 20 minutes to the point. It felt amazing; even though it was a small boat, the sensation of cutting through the wind and racing across the evening sea was the best. We encountered wild dolphins along the way, and they even stopped the boat for a bit, allowing us to see them up close. It seemed like the dolphins were coming over to us!

When we arrived at the manta point, we held onto a board with blue lights to watch the mantas. I was shocked to see them so close! I observed their large mouths, round eyes, and even the tips of their tails. It felt like they were dancing around, which was a strange sensation. I had imagined it would be more like just seeing them glide by, so it was quite a surprise.

Of course, since it was nighttime on the way back and my wetsuit was wet, please make sure to bring a bath towel and a windbreaker. The starry sky we saw on the way back was a breathtaking view with the majestic mountains over the sea.

マンタは水族館で見るものだと思っていたので(笑)、このツアーを知って楽しみにしていました。
現地集合プランだったので、レンタカーで行きましたが広いハーバー内、集合場所はちょっと分かりにくかったです。少し時間に余裕をもって♪
他の参加者の方は海外の方たち（アメリカかな？）でしたが、とってもかわいくて明るいガイドのアリちゃんに、ばっちり日本語でガイドしてもらいながら20分ほど船でポイントまで行きます。これがとっても気持ち良くて、小さい船ですが風を切って夕方の海を疾走する感覚は最高でした。途中で野生のイルカにも遭遇して、少し船を止めてくれたのですごく近くで見ることができたし、イルカの方も寄ってきてくれてるようでした！
マンタポイントに着いて、ブルーライトの付いたボードにつかまってマンタを見るのですが、『えっ！こんなに近くで見れるの？！マンタってこんな姿をしてるんだ！』って、大きな口やつぶらな目、しっぽの先までマンタを隅々まで観察できました。くるくるとダンスをしてくれてるようでもあり、不思議な感覚でした。『すーっと通りすぎるのを見る』みたいなイメージだったので、びっくりしました。
さすがに、帰りは夜ですしウェットスーツも濡れてるのでバスタオルやウインドブレーカーをちゃんと持っていって下さいね。帰りに見た星空も、海の上で雄大な山々と共にのぞむ絶景でしたよ。

I went to the Big Island for my honeymoon! After participating, I learned that if you post about it, you can get one person free, so I joined the local plan.

★ Access
I stayed at the Sheraton Kona Resort, and it cost $40 (one way) by taxi from the hotel to the location. Even considering the tip, it was a good deal. For the return trip, I was told that there are no taxis waiting, so I asked the hotel staff to help me and made a round-trip reservation.

The return time was about an hour earlier than what was listed on the voucher. At the meeting point, the taxi driver and the guide spoke directly, so I didn't have to wait outside.

The meeting place took some time to reach, as the taxi driver was unsure even after I showed him pictures and maps. I recommend acting early.

The guide was very cheerful and spoke fluent Japanese!

The boat ride to the manta ray swimming point was quite fast and fun. Thanks to taking motion sickness medication after seeing other people's posts, I didn't get seasick. The sunset we saw along the way was also very beautiful!

When swimming with the manta rays, there were no life jackets, so as someone who can't swim at all, I was quite worried. However, I just had to hold onto the rope attached to the board and float, so I was able to enjoy it too. No worries!

I was able to see manta rays up close, and it was a very satisfying tour. Several manta rays came right in front of me multiple times, close enough to touch (though I didn't touch them).

By November, it gets cold on the way there (even colder on the way back), so I think it's better to bring a larger towel or something to wear.

シェラトンコナリゾートに宿泊したのですが、
ホテルから現地迄はタクシーで40＄（片道）でした。
チップを考慮してもお得でした。
復路も頼んでおかないと、長しのタクシーは居ないとの事だったので、
ホテルの方にお願いをし、往復で予約。

バーチャーで記載して頂いた時間より1時間程早かったです。
集合時、タクシーの運転手さんとガイドの方が直接話して下さったので、外で待たされることは無かったです＾＾

集合場所は、タクシーの運転手さんに写真やマップを見せても悩んでいて、
到着迄は時間がかかりました。
早めの行動をおすすめします。

★ツアー内容
ガイドさんはとても明るく、日本語もペラペラでした♪

マンタと泳ぐポイント迄の船は、かなり猛スピードで楽しかったです。笑
他の方の投稿を見て酔い止めを飲んでおいたおかげか、船酔いはなかったです＾＾
途中で見た夕日もとてもきれいでした！！

マンタと泳ぐ際は、ライフジャケットもなかったので、
1ミリも泳げない私はとても心配でしたが、
ボードについているロープをつかんで浮いていれば良いだけだったので、
私でも楽しめました＾＾
心配無しです♪

目の前でマンタも見れ、とても大満足なツアーでした。
何匹ものマンタが何度も目の前に来てくれ、
触れるほどの距離です！（触れませんが＾＾）

11月ともなると行きから（帰りはもっと）寒いので、
大きめのタオルや羽織るもの等を持って行った方がよいと思います＾＾
