This was a tour that my parents had always wanted to go on. The underwater world was like a different realm, and it became a wonderful memory. The shuttle bus for pickup was also on time and easy to understand, which was great.

We didn't pay for the meal, instead we ate ahead of time. We had a nice time. Saw some whales, but not very close. Still it was worth the price for a morning out on the ocean.

This service was fantastic, our captain was really knowledgeable and friendly. We saw whales and dolphins and our captain was really accommodating and nice. It was a beautiful boat and wonderful that it was just a few people.

Unfortunately, I couldn't see any whales. However, the weather was nice and the waves were calm, so the breeze felt pleasant. I was satisfied with the view of Waikiki and Diamond Head from offshore.

Fortunately, we spotted a humpback whale right after leaving the harbor! And then, it jumped right in front of us! Both the guide and we were super excited.

Previously, I participated in a dolphin tour on Oahu, so this time I chose to see manta rays, which I had never seen before.

The crew was incredibly kind, and it was very reassuring to have staff who could speak Japanese.

We hopped on the boat and headed to the manta point!

During the ride, the sunset visible from the boat was stunning and moving. I tend to get seasick, so I took motion sickness medication from the start, which allowed me to enjoy the trip.

I was splashed with water, and my excitement was at its peak!

Upon arriving at the spot, I held onto the rope attached to the surfboard and waited for the manta rays to come close. It was a bit cold in the water during that time, but the guide checked on me several times, asking if I was okay.

When I actually saw the manta rays, the impact was incredible, and I was very moved. They were so close that I was really worried about accidentally touching them, but I was desperate to take photos.

On the way back, we were treated to hot chocolate and snacks, and there was a rather bitter ginger treat, which made me happy. This ginger was really delicious!

Since the wetsuits were wet on the way back, a bath towel is absolutely essential.

I spent a precious and happy time gazing at the beautiful starry sky over the dark sea.

以前は、イルカのツアーをオアフ島で参加したので、今回は見たことがないマンタにしました。

クルーの方もすごく優しい事、日本語を話せるスタッフさんがいらっしゃる事がとても安心でした。

マンタのポイントまで、船に乗って、GO！

その際に、船から見える夕陽は、とても綺麗で感動しました。
私は船酔いが酷いので最初から酔い止めを飲んでおいたので楽しく
移動が出来ました。

水しぶきも浴び私のテンションはMAX！

スポットへ到着してサーフボードに付いてる紐を持って、ひたすらマンタが近寄ってくるのを待つ感じでした。
その間は水の中で少し寒かったのですが、ガイドさんが大丈夫？と何度も声をかけてくれました。

実際マンタを見ると、迫力がすごくて、とても感動しました。
とにかく近いので触れてしまわないかとてもとても心配でしたが私は写真を撮る事に必死でした。

帰りには、ホットチョコレートと、スナック、かなり苦いですがジンジャーの差し入れがあり、嬉しかったです。
このジンジャーがかなり美味しかった！

帰りはウェットスーツも濡れてるのでバスタオルは絶対必須です。

真っ暗な海を綺麗な星空を見ながら幸せな貴重な時間を過ごさせていただきました。

all members of are group, which their 6 of us, had a great time. It was exciting to see a whale breach the water and wave her fin seeming to say hi.

We spotted a whale a little offshore!! The captain quickly turned the boat, and we were able to see it multiple times. I was particularly moved by the sight of two whales swimming together, following the boat's stern.

少し沖に出た所でくじら発見!!　船長さんが機転をきかして船は旋回し、何度も何度も見ることができました。特に船の船尾を二頭揃って追尾して泳ぐ姿には感動した。

After about a 30-minute voyage from the port to offshore Waikiki, the whale watching began. For the first 30 minutes, there were no whales in sight at all. After that, we spotted tails and spouts about five times, with intervals of 5 to 15 minutes. Although we didn't see any spectacular jumps, we were able to see the whales.

The view of the hotels in Waikiki and Diamond Head from offshore is truly breathtaking. The curry rice for lunch was very Japanese, and while the variety was limited, the other dishes were delicious as well. The waves offshore Waikiki weren't high, but since we slowed down to drift between the waves while searching for whales, some people did experience seasickness.

港からワイキキ沖まで30分ほど航海して、クジラウォッチングが始まります。最初の30分ほどはまったくクジラが見当たりませんでした。その後、5分から15分間隔で、尾ひれや潮吹きが5回ほど見られました。豪快にジャンプをするところはありませんでしたが、なんとかクジラを見ることができました。
沖合いから見るワイキキのホテルやダイアモンドヘッドは本当に絶景です。ランチのカレーライスも日本的で、品数は少ないですが他の料理も美味しいです。ワイキキ沖は波は高くありませんが、クジラを見つけるのに速度を落として波間を漂うので、船酔いする人もいました。

I was disappointed that I couldn't see any whales. It seems that the other people on the same tour also only caught a glimpse, but couldn't see them clearly. The view of the beach and Diamond Head from the sea is beautiful, so I think it's a good tour for first-time visitors to Hawaii. However, for those who have been there multiple times, it might feel a bit lacking.

同じツアーの方も、見えたかも？ぐらいでハッキリとは見えなかったようです。
ビーチやダイヤモンドヘッドを海から見る景色は良いので、ハワイに初めて行く人にはいいツアーだと思います。
何度も行っている人には物足りないと思いました。

I came to Hawaii in January when whales are often seen, so I decided to sign up for a tour. It ended in the morning, which made it easy to plan my day.

There were not many Japanese people.

Since the pickup was around 7 AM, I had lunch in my room. It seemed like there was time to have breakfast before the boat reached the whale watching point, so a plan that included breakfast might have been nice.

Although I couldn't see them up close, I was able to see dolphins and whales multiple times. I wondered if there are days when you can't see them.

Just seeing Diamond Head from the boat is worth it.

クジラが良くいる1月にハワイに来たので、せっかくなので申し込みました。
午前中に終わるので予定か立てやすかったです。

日本人は少なかったです。

ピックアップが7時頃でしたので、昼食は部屋で取りました。
船がクジラポイント近くに来るまでに朝食が食べれるようでしたので
朝食付きプランでもよかったかも。

近くでは見ることができませんでしたが

何度も、イルカ・クジラを見ることができて
見れない日があるのかな　とも思いました。

船からダイヤモンドヘッドを見るだけでも価値があります。

I was surprised to see whales near Waikiki. The food was delicious, and we had a great time making leis as a family.

ワイキキ近くでクジラが見えるとはびっくりしました。料理もおいしかったですし、レイ作りも家族で楽しく作れました

To be honest, I didn't think it would be possible to see whales this reliably. I wasn't able to see them jumping out of the water, but I was satisfied to see rainbows when they spouted water.

実際のところ見れないことはないとは思いますが、ここまで確実にホエールウォッチングができるとは思っていませんでした。海面上でジャンプするのを見ることができませんでしたが、潮を吹くときに虹が出たりするのも見れたりして満足です。

Let me start by saying that everyone was so friendly. My husband was here on a business trip so I came to do this tour on my own. The free transportation they provided went very smoothly. Pick up from my hotel and drop off at the end. One of the reasons I picked this tour group was the guarantee to see whales. Upon arriving, they welcome you and let you know where the lunch buffet is and that you can sit on any floor. The weather was beautiful and the sailing was very smooth. Unfortunately, there were no whales or aquatic life to be seen. At the end of the tour I was given a voucher to come back another day. I came back the next. Unfortunately again, I had the same experience. I found out later from locals that it's hard to see them in major boat trafficking areas. So while I didn't get to see any whales or aquatic life, the trip itself was nice. I was able to converse with other travelers and have some nice water time.

We've been on multiple whale tours over the years. We saw multiple whales but the boat was crowded and pretty dated. The microphone didn't work for the first 30 minutes and they never used the hydrophone after mentioning that they had one. Definitely not the "spacious deck with ample seating for all passengers and first class amenities" as advertised. The Kawaihae Harbor location is setup weird. After arriving and checking in we had to board a bus for a 5 minute ride to the boat. Every cruise in the past allowed us to park and then walk on without a shuttle bus. The crew was friendly.

I will be boarding the Star of Honolulu, which I've always admired! It's a very beautiful and large ship, and the restrooms are really clean and comfortable.

I opted for the buffet, and I heard that on the day of the cruise, you can add an extra person for $12 for more food. The buffet was very delicious, and I went back for seconds on the sausages! The drink options are plentiful, and you can buy tasty alcoholic beverages if you're willing to spend a little more.

I'm the type to get seasick, and I forgot to bring my motion sickness medication, so I was a bit anxious. However, the ship is large, so it didn't sway much, and I had no problems at all.

The only disappointing thing was that we didn't see any whales. I was excited to join because it was said that there was a high chance of seeing them, but we didn't see any whales, sea turtles, or dolphins—nothing at all. We just ended up staring at the horizon for the entire time.

For those who didn't see anything, there is a free return ticket for the next time, but it seems that it’s only valid for this season and must be used by April of this year. Also, it doesn't include hotel pick-up or the buffet.

Since I only go to Hawaii about once a year, I can't use such a short-term ticket! Moreover, the explanations were given in English, so we, who only understand Japanese, were confused about where to collect the tickets. It seemed that many people returned home without receiving their tickets.

I think it would be helpful if there were a few more staff members who could speak Japanese.

ビュッフェ付きにしましたが、当日にプラス1人12ドルで料理を追加できるとのことでした(*^◯^*)ブュッフェもとても美味しくてウインナーは何回もおかわりしました(^ ^)♡
飲み物も充実していますし、お金を出せば美味しいお酒も買えます！
船酔いするタイプの私ですのですが酔い止めを忘れて乗ってしまい不安でした。ですが船自体が大きいのでそこまで揺れず全く問題なかったです。

ただ一つ残念だったのが、ホエールが見えなかったことです。高い確率で見られるとのことでワクワクして参加しましたが、ホエールは勿論。ウミガメもイルカも何も見えませんでした。
見えないのをただただひたすら海の水平線を眺めて終わりました。

見えなかった方には次回の無料乗船券がもらえるのですが、今期のみで今年の4月までに行かなくてはならないそうで、ホテルへの送迎やブュッフェは付属しないとのことでした。

ハワイに行くのは一年に一度程度ですので、そんなに短い期間の乗船券だと使えません！！
しかも英語で説明されるので日本語しかわからない我々はどこでチケットをもらっていいかわからず戸惑いました。
チケットをもらわずわからないまま帰宅した方も大勢おられたようでした。

もう少し日本語ができるスタッフがいてくれると助かると思います。

I touched a dolphin for the first time! Its incredibly gentle skin was indescribable, and its cries were so cute; I was very satisfied ❤︎ It was great that my 2-year-old could participate as well.

初めてイルカを触りました！なんとも言えない優しい肌触りで泣く声も可愛くとても満足しました❤︎
2歳の子も一緒に参加できとても良かったです。

I couldn't make it in time to join the meeting on-site, but I received wonderful assistance over the phone! I will trust that and participate again!

From the pier in front of the Hilton Hawaiian Village Hotel, you can take a boat to board a submarine that is anchored offshore, where you can observe the wreckage of ships and airplanes sunk off Waikiki, as well as the fish and turtles that inhabit them.
There are limited resorts that offer submarine activities, and getting a glimpse of the mysteries of the ocean floor is a rare experience.
Additionally, there is a Japanese audio guide available, so you can enjoy it even if you don't speak English.

Hilton Hawaiian Village Hotel前の桟橋から船で移動し、沖合に停泊している潜水艦に乗り込み、ワイキキ沖に沈む船や飛行機の残骸と、それらに住んでいる魚やカメを観察することができます。
潜水艦のアクティビティがあるリゾート地は限られますし、海底の神秘を垣間見ることができるのはなかなかできない体験です。
また、日本語の音声ガイドがありますので、英語が出来なくても楽しめます。

You will wait for the shuttle bus at the Hyatt Regency, which will make about three stops along the way before arriving. The submarine does not have a restroom, but there is a restroom on the moving boat, so you can feel at ease. Under the sea, you will visit several points. The view differs depending on whether you are sitting on the left or right, but when there are sea turtles, they will rotate so that both seats can see them.

ハイアットリージェンシーでシャトルバスを待ち、途中3か所位途中停車してから到着します。
サブマリンにはトイレがありませんが、移動中の船にトイレがあるので安心です。
海底では、いくつかポイントを周遊します。左右の席で見えるモノが違いますが、海ガメがいた際は回転してどちらの席でも見えるようにしてくれました。

Last year during snorkeling at Sandbar, I didn't encounter any honu, but this time with the underwater scooter, I was able to see multiple honu and was very satisfied with the photos and videos taken.

昨年のサンドバーでのシュノーケリング時はホヌに会えませんでしたが今回の水中スクーターでは複数のホヌに会え、写真、ビデオも撮ってもらえて大変満足しました

I came to Hawaii on my honeymoon with my beloved husband. There was something I wanted to do when I came to Hawaii: meet dolphins! The dolphin school was so much fun from start to finish. I was able to see wild sea turtles up close, and I also saw a mother and baby whale, but what made me the happiest was swimming with a large group of dolphins!!

I was moved by seeing the dolphins rubbing their bellies together and their courtship behavior live, and how many dolphins came right up to me, as well as their sounds. Everything was so touching.

When I felt the waves rolling on the west coast view from the sea in Hawaii, I kept thinking, "Hawaii is the best!!!" I was really relieved that our guide, Julie, spoke Japanese. During the bus ride, we enjoyed talking about famous spots in Hawaii and the characteristics of marine animals, including dolphins, without getting bored. The explanations for snorkeling were also easy to understand and reassuring.

The photos of the dolphins and us taken by Mike were really beautiful, and I keep looking back at them, remembering the sea of Hawaii. I had the best honeymoon of my life.

I am grateful to the dolphin school! If I have the chance to go to Hawaii again, I would love to enroll in the dolphin school once more♪

私は今回、愛する旦那さんとハネムーンでハワイに来ました。ハワイに来たら、したかったことがあります。それは、イルカに会うことです！イルカ中学の授業は、最初から最後まですごく楽しかったです。野生のウミガメを近くで見ることが出来たし、クジラの親子も見ることが出来たし、何よりもイルカの大群と一緒に泳げたことがとても嬉しかったです！！
イルカ達がお腹を擦り合わせ、求愛行動を生で見たこと、何匹ものイルカが目の前まで来てくれたこと、イルカの声。すべてに感動しました。
ハワイの海から見た西海岸の景色、高い波のうねりを感じたときに、ずっとこう思いました。ハワイ最高！！！
ガイドのジュリーさんが日本語通じる方で凄く安心しました。行きのバスの中ではハワイの有名なスポットや、イルカを含む海の動物たちの特徴など、話は飽きることなく移動中も楽しめました。シュノーケリングをするにあたっての説明なども、わかりやすく安心しました。
マイクさんの撮って頂いたイルカや私たちの写真も凄くキレイで、何度も見返してはハワイの海を思い出します。人生で最高のハネムーンを過ごすことが出来ました
イルカ中学校には感謝しています！次回またハワイに行く機会があれば、イルカ中学校にもう一度入学したいです♪

I'm not very familiar with the climate of Oahu, but I always feel like the wind is strong when I leave Honolulu. This time, especially since it was December, the temperature at Sea Life Park was just warm enough to get into the water, but the strong wind made it feel very cold. It felt like swimming in a pool on a cold day.

Despite the fact that all participants were clearly cold, the program progressed quite leisurely. It might be due to the service, or perhaps they have to provide a certain amount of time for the event, but participants had to endure getting splashed by dolphins multiple times while shivering, and they hardly moved on to the important photo opportunities for kisses and handshakes. We participated with our 6-year-old and 3-year-old, but our 3-year-old gave up before the photo session and couldn't do the kiss or handshake. There were other children in the same situation.

While the instructor was very enthusiastic, I thought it would have been better if they could adapt the program a bit more flexibly considering the cold and the presence of many small children. Our 6-year-old said it was fun even though it was cold, so I think age does play a role.

So, I wouldn't recommend this for those who are sensitive to the cold or for families with small children during the cold season. By the way, the facility does not have hot showers or dryers, so after the event, we quickly changed and bundled up to recover our body temperature.

オアフ島の気候に詳しくはないのですが、いつもホノルルを離れると、風が強い気がします。今回は特に12月だったためか、シーライフパークは何とか海には入れるくらいの気温だけど、風が強くとても寒く感じました。寒い日のプールって感じでした。
そんな中、明らかに参加者全員が寒がっているにも関わらず、プログラムはかなりゆったりと進んでいきました。サービスなのかもしれないし、ある程度の時間催しを提供しなければならないのかもしれないのですが、参加者たちが震えているのに何回もイルカのスプラッシュを浴びなければならなかったり、肝心のキスや握手での写真撮影を全然進めなかったり。うちは６歳と３歳の子どもと参加しましたが、３歳の子は写真撮影の前にギブアップで、キスも握手もできませんでした。うちの他にも、同じ状況のお子さんがいました。
インストラクターの方がサービス旺盛なのはいいのですが、寒がっていて、小さい子が多いとか、もう少し状況によって臨機応変にプログラムを進めてくれればいいのにと思いました。
６歳の子は、寒くても楽しい！と言っていたので、ある程度年齢の問題はあると思います。
ということで、寒い時期、寒さが苦手な方や小さい子連れの方はオススメしません。
ちなみに施設にはお湯が出るシャワーやドライヤーはなく、終了後はとにかく着替えて厚着して体温回復しました。

We woke up early and participated as a family. My 7-year-old son and my wife were moved to see dolphins for the first time. It was my son's first time in the deep sea, and since I was a beginner with a life jacket, I was very grateful for the assistance of the instructor who stayed by my side. Thank you very much.

It was cold when we entered the sea, so it was a good decision to rent a wetsuit, which was available for a fee. The spam onigiri during the first break was delicious. I would like to participate again if I have the opportunity to go to Hawaii.

I look forward to it again next time.

早起きして家族で参加しました。7歳の息子と奥さんは初めてイルカを見て感動してました。
息子は海の深い所は初めてだったし私は、かなづちでライフジャケット着て初の海だったので、インストラクターの方に側に付いていただいて大変助かりました、ありがとうございました。
海に入ると寒かったのでウエットスーツは有料ですが借りて正解でした。１回目の休憩時のスパムおにぎりは、美味しかったです。又、ハワイに行って機会があったら参加したいと思います

I was worried about whether I would see any whales on my long-awaited whale watching tour, but I was able to meet many whales.

At first, they were far away, and I couldn't see them up close, so I thought maybe that was all there was. Just as I started to relax and have lunch, I was able to see a whale jumping through the glass! It was from the side, so it was beautifully visible, and everyone on board applauded enthusiastically. So, I realized that even when the sea is calm, we should never let our guard down!

I also participated with my 3-year-old child, and there were plenty of activities, plus meals with rice and noodles that my child enjoyed. There were both paid and free drinks, which was great!

Even after leaving the whales, the scenery, the color of the sea, and the color of the sky were all wonderful, making it a very satisfying tour!

I definitely plan to participate again when I go to Hawaii!

念願のホエールウォッチングで、見れるか心配だったけど、沢山のクジラたちに会えました。

始めは遠くにいてなかなか近くで見れなかったので、もうこのくらいなのかなぁと油断してランチを始めたら、ガラス越しにジャンプするクジラを見ることが出来ました！！それも、横からだったのでキレイに見れて参加者全員拍手喝采でした❇
なので、海面が穏やかでも油断大敵だなと思います！

また、3歳の子どもと参加しましたが、アクティビティも沢山あったし、食事もライスも麺もあったので食べてくれましたし、飲み物も有料や無料があってどちらも良かったです！

そして、クジラたちたちと離れても景色も海の色も空の色も素晴らしいので大満足なツアーでした！

また、ハワイに行くときは必ず参加しようと思います！

It was an experience that is hard to come by in Japan, so I participated. I was really lucky to see a sea turtle! The cruise before boarding the submarine was also very pleasant.

日本ではなかなか出来ない体験でしたので、参加しました。
ウミガメを見ることが出来て、本当にラッキーでした！
潜水艦に乗り込むまでのクルーズも気持ちよかったです。

I was able to encounter a whale! The explanations were thorough, and they were very kind when I forgot something. It was a great experience. I would love to participate again if I have the chance.

We participated as a couple with our 3-year-old child. I thought it was a very good program, and here are my comments based on that impression.

It's safer to make a reservation for dates that are expected to be crowded, but the cancellation policy states, "100% of the total reservation amount after 00:00 local time two business days before the participation date." Considering that I had to cancel at the last minute due to my period and ended up just watching from the poolside, I think it would have been better to make the reservation right before going to the facility. Also, looking at the availability board on the day, not all sessions are fully booked, so if you plan to spend the whole day at the facility, it might be a good idea to make a reservation at the experience corner in the morning.

Additionally, while it is more expensive compared to typical dolphin interaction experiences in Japan, one of the attractions of this program is that it allows participation at a young age. However, when we actually participated, my 3-year-old daughter seemed terrified of the large dolphin, which approached her with its mouth wide open, making cute sounds while coming closer. She clung to her father, crying out "Scary! Scary!" with tears streaming down her face. As a result, she ended up leaving early, and her father awkwardly participated alone in a team of mostly women, making for a surreal dolphin experience. I feel sorry that her screams might have disturbed the other participants. It might be difficult for my child to enjoy this experience until she is around 5 years old. I noticed other children of a similar age from Western countries in other teams were also crying quite a bit. Parents of children in the same age group should take this into consideration.

You can purchase DVDs and photos, but as mentioned earlier, the only photos available were of the father awkwardly kissing the dolphin with a wry smile, and since you can't preview the DVD (even if you could, it would just be footage of screaming), I decided not to buy it.

Regarding photography, participants have to change and put their belongings in lockers, and you are required to remove not only cameras but also glasses and wedding rings in the pool area, so you can't take any photos or videos. Even wearable cameras like GoPros are completely prohibited. However, if you don't use a locker and can bring your bag to the pool, you can leave everything on the waiting bench in front of the pool. The waiting bench is accessible only to participants, so it is quite safe, and you can take photos right up until you enter the pool. During the experience, it's natural for the photographer to stay far away for the sake of the dolphins, so I think having one person participate as a spectator and take photos from the bench with a zoom lens would be a better approach, considering the risks involved. I felt that the pricing for spectators might have been set with such considerations in mind after participating.

夫婦と３歳の子どもでの参加でした。大変良いプログラムだと思いました、という感想ありきでの以下のコメントです。
混雑が予想される日程は予約をしたほうが安心なのですが、キャンセルポリシーに「参加日の2営業日前の現地時間00:00以降、予約総額の100%」とありましたので、直前の生理でキャンセルもせずプールサイドで見学になったことを考えると、施設へ行く直前に予約したほうが良かったと思いました。また、当日の空き状況ボードを見るとすべての回が予約で埋まるわけではないので、１日この施設で遊ぶつもりなら朝から体験コーナーの受付で予約するのもアリかなと思います。
それと、日本での一般的なイルカふれ合い体験に比べ高額ですが、低年齢での参加が可能なのがこのプログラムの魅力のひとつ。実際に参加してみると３歳の娘に実物の大きなイルカは恐怖でしかないようで、大きく口を開け頭を出してキュッキュと可愛い声で鳴きながら近づいてくるイルカの姿に鼻水を流しながら父親に抱きついてコワイ！コワイ！と絶叫しておりました。結果、娘も途中離脱し、大半を父親ひとり挙動不審になりながら女性ばかりのチームに参加するシュールなイルカ体験となりました。絶叫がうるさく、チームの参加者に不快な思いをさせてしまったと恐縮しています。うちの子は５歳くらいにならないと楽しい参加は厳しいかもしれません。他チームで同年齢くらいの欧米のお子さんもだいぶ泣き叫んでおりました。同年代の親御さんはご配慮くださいませ。
DVDと写真を買えますが、先の通り、苦笑いでイルカとキスをする父親の写真だけが並んでおり、DVDもプレビューできないので（プレビューできたにしてもどうせ絶叫映像なので）購入しませんでした。
撮影について、体験参加者は着替えてロッカーに荷物を入れてしまい、プール内はカメラはおろかメガネや結婚指輪すら外させられますので写真も動画も撮れません。ウェアラブルなGoProなんかも完全にNGです。ロッカーを使わずバッグを持ってプールへ移動でき、プール前の待機ベンチにすべて置いておけます。待機ベンチは参加者しか入れないので安全性は高い上、プールに入る直前まで写真を撮ったりできます。体験中はイルカのためを思うと撮影者は遠くに離れていて当然ですので、ひとりは見学者として参加して、ベンチからズームレンズで撮影するスタイルが今回のようなリスクも踏まえパフォーマンスが良いと思います。そもそもそういった想定の見学者価格設定なのかなと参加してみてから感じた次第です。
