The food was really good but the show seemed to drag on. I have been to other shows and this one only compared moderately.

This was the second Luau of our trip. We scheduled this as our new years eve activity. This was aperformance by a professional dance group. Each song and dance was an good "act". But just that. I did not get the feeling of the culture and the sense of enjoyment that I recieved from the first Luau I attended.

I participated a few years ago, but this time the show was upgraded and even more wonderful than before. The fire dance, which my child had been looking forward to, was breathtaking and exceeded our expectations! It was a very satisfying show.

The attractions on the islands, especially in Tonga and Samoa, had staff who were very good at getting everyone excited, making it a truly valuable experience to celebrate together with people from various countries.

I signed up for activities for my child who was participating for the first time, but as a returning parent, I also enjoyed it thoroughly, so I highly recommend it.

数年前に参加しましたが、今回はショーの内容がパワーアップしていて、前にも増してすばらしかったです。
子供が参加前から楽しみにしていたファイアーダンスは、期待以上に圧巻！大満足のショーでした。

島々のアトラクションもトンガやサモアはスタッフの盛り上げ方がとっても上手で、いろんな国の人たちと一緒になって盛り上がれるので、とっても貴重な体験でした。

初めて参加する子供のために申し込んだアクティビティでしたが、リピーターである親も充分楽しめたので、おすすめです。

Unfortunately it was raining on the night we went, were handed plastic poncho's at the door to an outdoor cement courtyard and facing away from the beach. This was disappointing compared to others I had read about. We paid extra for preferred seating, which was probably better than sitting up the back. Our table service was not good and agree with other reviews the Mai Tai's were awful, had to go to the bar to ask for wine instead. Still all in all it was what a Laua is all about, the dancers were great, had a good laugh at them doing the NZ Huka. Would still recommend.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! This was one of the most fun experiences we've had here in Hawaii! We moved here this summer and when my parents told us they were coming to visit again, I knew we had to do something special. And this was it! We had 6 adults and 5 kids between the ages of 7 and 11. The kids stole the show - they danced the whole time! It did not matter that there was drinking going on - the kids had a blast! How could they not? And of course we joined them in the dancing when the music got pumped up. Starting out with

What a fun start to our Hawaii trip! We were not just met, but truly welcomed to Hawaii, and were given beautiful, rich, leis to wear. Our greeter accompanied us to the baggage collection area (which is a 5-minute walk) and made sure we knew our transportation options for getting to our hotel.

A must-see for Elvis fans! Even those from generations who don't know him can enjoy it to some extent (laughs). Unlike Japanese impersonations, it's incredibly authentic. The lookalikes of Michael and Gaga were also quite well-crafted.

エルビスファンなら必見！知らない世代の方もそれなりに楽しめます（笑）日本のモノマネと違って限りなく本物志向ですね。マイケルやガガなどのソックリさんもかなり作り込んでいました。

I would highly recommend this to everyone of all ages! The staff was very nice, pleasent,and funny. The dinner was excellent! and the entertainment was just awesome! It was put together very nicely, I especially liked the way they did the one table at a time. avoided a rush to the tables, there was plenty of food to go around so no one had to miss out on everything. I even tried poi for the first time! The pork, OMG it is one of the best tasting pig I have ever had in my life! melted in your mouth! Everything was great. I can guarantee if I'm lucky enough to go back to Kauai I will do that again! I don't have any pictures developed yet or I would show them. :)

The duration was three hours, but it wasn't just continuous dancing; there were audience interactions and various shows, making the time fly by. It was a lot of fun. I thought it might be a bit of a luxury, but it created wonderful memories for my mother and me on our trip. Thank you very much.

The scenery was obviously beautiful and the crew seemed very knowledgable and capable. However, I have not been on a cruise like this before and conduct of other passengers and comments by crew about drinking and such were inappropriate in the presence of children. The enviroment was definitely not a family one. I was disappointed because my children did not enjoy it like I thought they would because they felt uncomfortable.

We were thoroughly impressed by the PCC. The lectures and displays were very informative and fun. Everyone there were very nice and helpful. This is a full day activity!

The sunset, the sea breeze, the drinks, and the atmosphere were all amazing on the catamaran. But... why was it on the net? A friend's camera from a wedding and honeymoon slipped through the net and fell into the sea! A fun memory turned into a sad one...

夕日も、海風も、お酒も、雰囲気も最高のカタマラン号でした。が・・・なぜ？網の上なの？ウェディング＆ハネムーンの友人のカメラが見事網の目をくぐって海へ！楽しい思い出が悲しい思い出に・・・　

This was a show that truly felt like Hawaii. The scale has shrunk quite a bit since I first saw it several decades ago, but it was a good show. The fire dance, in particular, was impressive. The food was buffet style; it wasn't bad, but it was just okay. I recommend it for those visiting Hawaii for the first time.

これぞハワイと言う感じのショーでした。
数十年前に始めてみた時からは大分規模はシュリンクしていましたが、良いショーでした。
特に火の踊りは圧巻でした。
料理は、ビュッフェスタイルで、まずくはありませんが、まずまずというところでした。
ハワイへ初めて行く人にはお勧めです。

I always had experiences that I couldn't enjoy from the land or the hotel garden. When you think of Hawaii, you think of the ocean, and the romantic presentation from the sea.

The dance show was especially enjoyable, featuring traditional performances and plenty of laughs. The fire show comes highly recommended. I wish we had a bit more time, but overall, we were very satisfied."

「ポリネシア文化センター （ポリネシア・カルチャー・センター）　ハワイ最大規模のダンスショー＆テーマパークを楽しもう！」に家族3人で参加しました。
特にダンスショーは伝統芸能あり、笑いありでとても楽しかったです。ファイアーショーが特にお勧めです。
もう少し時間があればと思った以外は大満足でした。

We had a fire-starting experience and took a ukulele lesson together... Some people liked the ukulele so much that they ended up buying one, making it an experience that continued to expand our circle even after returning from the trip.

Although it takes some time to get to the hotel in Waikiki (my wife is pregnant, so it seems to have tired her a bit), the show had great seating and the food was upgraded, so we enjoyed it with a VIP feeling. The powerful Polynesian show is something I will never forget. It was wonderful! ♪

ワイキキのホテルから移動時間が多少ありますが（妻が妊娠中なので少し疲れさせたみたいです）ショーは良い席をチャージしていたので料理もグレードアップしていたからVIPな感覚で楽しめました。

We shared a table with several foreign couples. We enjoyed watching the show while having fun conversations. When they asked if we were on our honeymoon, we were cheered on by those around us and ended up going on stage to dance. It became a wonderful memory.

外国人カップル数組とテーブルが一緒でした。
楽しく会話しながらショーを拝見しました。
ハネムーンの方？と言われたので周りから囃し立てられ登壇してダンスをしました。　良い思い出になりました。

I went on a company trip.
To be honest, I didn't have high expectations (sorry about that),
but from the bus on the way to the venue, it was more fun than I anticipated,
and I felt like I was getting used to being a "Hawaii expert" at the cultural center.
The show was also very beautiful.

「ハワイ通」に慣れた気がした文化センターでした。

The guide's explanations were very easy to understand, and everything was enjoyable from start to finish! If you're learning HULA, this is a must-visit!

This was an amazing Luau.. WOW! Can't say enough about it. The food was amazing, the entertainment, the entire night. We opted for preferred seating so we were escorted right in, greeted with a fresh flower lei and had our picture taken. That was just the start of a truly fantastic evening. It was held near the ocean at the King Kamehameha Hotel within view of the Ahuena Heiau. The Ahu'ena Heiau is the religious temple that served Kamehameha the Great when he returned to the Big Island in 1812. The show after dinner was spectacular, hard to describe with words.

I have been to Hawaii many times, but this was my first visit to the Polynesian Cultural Center. The guide was quite elderly, but he explained the history of Hawaii until we arrived at the site. However, at one point he said, "Everyone from Japan, please stay awake and listen to the guide's talk." Out of about a dozen participants, half were already dreaming. It felt like such a waste to be on a trip, participate in an option, and not listen to the guide's talk... I really thought that was true.

At the Polynesian Cultural Center, I was able to experience various cultures from different countries and learn while having fun. In a participatory activity, I got to learn a little hula dance in the Hawaiian village, which was enjoyable.

I think this option is highly recommended for those visiting Hawaii for the first time.

ハワイへは何十回と出かけていますが、今回初めて、ポリネシア文化センターへ出かけてきました。
ガイドさんは、かなりご高齢の方でしたが、現地到着まではハワイの歴史に関して説明をしてくださり、でも途中「日本の皆さん、寝ずにガイドの話をちゃんと聞いてください」と・・・１０数人の参加者のうち、半数は夢の中でした。せっかく旅行にきて、オプションに参加して、ガイドの話を聞かないのはもったいないと・・・本当だなって思いました。
ポリネシア文化センターでは、色々な国の文化に触れ、楽しみながら学べました。参加型では、ハワイ村でフラダンスをちょっぴり習うことができ、楽しめました。

ハワイが初めてという人には、すごくおススメのオプションだと思います。

The bus was quite fast, and surprisingly, we arrived in about 45 minutes while enjoying the scenery. The bus guide's commentary during that time was very important, as they explained the day's flow in an easy-to-understand and enjoyable manner. I booked a good seat in the class, and the food was served buffet-style, very delicious, and the strawberries were incredibly sweet and tasty. The drinks were all-you-can-drink, and whenever we asked the waitress, she brought us more. The show allowed us to experience the atmosphere of Hawaii, and even if you don't understand the language, the story was easy to follow. During the show, when we handed over the part attached to the ticket, everyone received ice cream with lots of fruit, and there was a break. The fruit and ice cream were very delicious. On the way back, the bus was quiet without the guide from the outbound trip, and most people were sleeping, creating a calm atmosphere as we were taken back to the hotel. It was great to feel the spirit of Hawaii.

バスはかなりとばすので、意外と早く景色をみているうちに、約45分くらいで到着しました。その間のバスガイドさんのお話がとても重要で、その日の流れなどをわかりやすく、楽しく説明してくれます。クラスはいい席で申し込みしましたが、料理は、バイキング形式で、とてもおいしく、イチゴのフルーツもすごく甘くて、おいしかったです。ドリンクも飲み放題で、ウエイトレスさんに頼むと、何度でも持ってきてくれました。ショーはハワイの雰囲気を味わえ、言葉がわからなくても、わかりやすいストーリーになっています。ショーの途中で、チケットの下についている部分を渡すと、フルーツたくさんのアイスクリームが全員渡され、休憩時間がありました。そのフルーツとアイスクリームがとてもおいしかったです。帰りのバスは、行きのバスガイドさんはいなく、静かで、ほとんどの人が寝ているので、静かな感じで、ホテルに送られる感じでした。ハワイの気分が味わえてよかったです。

Greeter was waiting for us at the gate, friendly and with a smile! She also offered to take our pictures with the leis (using our own camera).

We purchased the silk leis to keep for souvenirs. They were a better quality than I expected, but expensive for what they were. I guess we were paying for the greeting service too.

Overall, a great experience for our first time to Hawaii. I would recommend this company to anyone.

First, my mother, who was given a shell lei at the reception, looked very happy. In addition to the pleasure of dining outdoors while feeling the setting sun, we waited for the food to be prepared while observing the traditional Hawaiian oven, the imu, up close. We also experienced Hawaiian food culture, such as poi, and watched hula and Tahitian dances unfold right in front of us. It was all a first experience for my mother, and her eyes were sparkling with excitement. Even though she doesn't understand English, it seemed like she had a wonderful time, and I was really glad to see her enjoying it.

まず受付でシェルレイをかけてもらった母は大変嬉しそうにしていました。
野外で沈み行く夕日を感じながら食事をする気持ちよさに加え、ハワイ古来のオーブン「イム」を間近で見学しながら出来あがりを待ち、ポイなどのハワイの食文化にも触れ、目の前で繰り広げられるフラやタヒチアンの踊り、全てが初体験の母は目がキラキラしていました。英語が分からない母でもとても楽しんでくれたようで、その様子をそばでみれたのが嬉しかったです。

I purchased Lei's for my daughters who went to Honolulu for their first time. Both of them were thrilled as they got off the plane and met by the greeter with their Lei's. It will be something that they will remember. The Lei's were beautiful. Photo attached. It's the best money I have spent for flowers in a long time.

The center and its activities are both an educational and entertaining experience. Everyone should take the opportunity to visit the center. The Ambassador Prime Rib/Seafood Package is an excellent option. It allows one to just enjoy the day's activities.

This was like my 5th time and like always a BLAST!!

From what we had heard from some others we knew who visited the PCC, we were expecting a good experience, but results were beyond expectations!

The staff were consistently helpful and friendly, the presenters (in the village exhibits) were informative, entertaining and clearly loved talking about what they were demonstrating, and loved performing their traditional dances and skills. The Samoan Village demonstrator (coconut husking and fire making using simple materials) was extremely entertaining and I wish I had his muscles!

All that was very fine, but the capstone was the performance of "Ha! The Breath of Life". The performers are largely students at BYU Hawaii, but the performance was worthy of genuine professionals.

The food at the buffet (we didn't do the Luau) was very good and there was a great variety of foods available.

Highly recommended!
