Since it was a special trip to Hawaii, I thought I would ask for a proper welcome. I made the reservation secretly for my wife, so I was a bit worried, but as we passed through the immigration gate, we saw a typical Hawaiian lady standing there with a sign.

Since I had requested it in my wife's name in advance, she was surprised to see it. "My name is written on it!?" The surprise was a success.

It seems that this kind of service has become rare in recent years, as we were the only ones requesting it. They kindly took our commemorative photos, and we are grateful for the warm welcome.

Additionally, they drove us to the rental car waiting area since we were unfamiliar with the location. I tried to give a tip, but unfortunately, they wouldn’t accept it. (Both of us are very thankful.)

This service, which includes receiving fresh flowers, is not expensive at all. I absolutely recommend it for anyone considering a surprise. The satisfaction exceeds the price. I returned the lei to the ocean on our last day. (If you sprinkle some water on it, it lasts quite a while.)

サプライズをお考えの方には、絶対にオススメです。価格以上の満足です。
頂いたレイは最終日に海へお返ししました。（水をかけてあげれば結構長持ちします）

My wife looks forward to receiving her Lei as we head towards baggage claim. After a long flight it always makes her smile with pride and joy that I provided this small appreciation of her. I highly recommend that Leis be part of your experience visiting the islands. I upgrade to the Delux Lei with is heavy and beautiful. My wife places it in the fridge and brings it home in a zip lock baggie and places it a wicker bowl to continue its life.

Dispatch Problems

The ride was fine, but the dispatch was NOT. I called to verify the pickup and specifically verified the pickup location. On the day of the pickup the bus driver went to the wrong location (again -- this is not the first time this has happened). I had to wait for him to come back to the bus after trying to track me down (at the wrong location!) on the sidewalk. His comment to me was that he was not notified of the pickup location change!!!! Bad dispatch process. PLEASE fix this. AND, the bus was frigid. I had to wear my coat the entire trip! The window in the passenger door was blown out somewhere along the route and we had to proceed to the airport at 25 miles per hour!!! It was actually warmer after the window blew out.

After checking in with "desk" there was an extremely long wait for the shuttle. Staff mumbled something about the driver having gone home, so we had to wait for another driver. Poor staff planning.
