Fewer Japanese participants joined the tour, and since it was an English tour, I was disappointed that I couldn't understand the explanations during the bus ride. We took a 45-minute break at the Onizuka Visitor Center to acclimatize to the altitude, but there was no place to change, so I changed in the restroom. I wore Heattech top and bottom, jeans, and a fleece, with a light down parka on top. At the summit, I was lent ski pants and a warm jacket, so I was well-prepared for the cold. My hands were only cold from holding the camera.

The meal consisted of sandwiches distributed at the Visitor Center, which were very delicious, but there were no drinks provided. Since it was drizzling, I didn't feel like sitting at the outdoor tables and chairs, so I stood and ate in a corner of the center. During the stargazing, I enjoyed warm cocoa.

I was very satisfied with both the sunset and the starry sky, but I'm wondering how to receive the photo data taken during sunset and stargazing. There has been no email contact since the next day. I called but reached voicemail and left a message...

サンセットも星空も大満足だつたのですか、日没時と星空鑑賞の際に撮って下さった写真データをどう受け取るのか？翌日以降、メール連絡もありません。電話しても留守電で、メッセージは残したのですが…

The sunset and stargazing were both amazing. Especially the stargazing, as the moon wasn't out, allowing us to see the Milky Way clearly. The only complaint I have is that the van we used for transportation was full and quite cramped. The travel time was long, and the roads were bad, so I hope this can be improved. (The driver was also lamenting about it...)

I have visited the Big Island of Hawaii many times, but this time I participated because my child turned 16. I was impressed by the beauty of the stars, the vastness of the sky, and its size. They took family photos for us, and since we were the only Japanese people there, they spoke to us not only in English but also in Japanese. During the star explanation, they divided us into English and Japanese groups with the same tour company (we ended up having a private experience), which made it very easy to understand, humorous, and enjoyable. I'm glad I participated.

Note: It’s colder than I expected.

Su-san's guidance and thoughtfulness were wonderful. The photos we received were truly impressive! What a great photographer! They were very beautiful.

This was our second time as a couple, and our first time bringing our son.

Since the moon rose before 10:00 PM, it didn't affect our experience at all, and we were able to see the Milky Way clearly. It became a great memory for our family.

The BLT was delicious too.

The views were spectacular. Our tour guide was exceptional and knowledgeable. He thought of everything (e.g., hot tea, donuts, coats, gloves). He was patient with my teens and ensured all were comfortable and warm. We saw a lot of shooting stars in addition to Venus and several constellations. Pick up and drop off from the cruise ship were convenient. This was a once in a lifetime experience.

This tour was amazing in every way!!! One of our family's favorite tours of all time!! Yoshi was an excellent driver on a rather scary road! Super safe and comfortable ride! Once we were at the top, he did the BEST job of making it a once in a lifetime experience for us. Shared lots of great information, pointed out just where to look at the perfect times. Had chairs, blankets, donuts, hot drinks, coats, you name it...he had it! Took the coolest pictures of our family during the sunset, overlooking the crater, and under the stars! The stargazing was amazing and he was especially great with our youngest as he had a step stool so she could look in the telescope easily and he took extra time with her to be sure she saw all the stars and the moon! If you do one adventure on Maui be sure it is this!!

Yoshi provides such an amazing tour and has every detail down to make sure you have the most amazing and comfortable experience. The trek up Haleakala was amazing slowly climbing above the clouds. The views were indescribable and the sunset views are going to be tough to match. The stargazing was a whole other experience that you just have to try for yourself. So grateful to have had this experience and so glad we chose Maui All Stars Stargazing!

I was supposed to meet at the main entrance of the hotel at 1 PM local time, but it seems I was waiting at the back entrance, and without the hotel accommodation card, I couldn't enter or exit. It appears the driver skipped me, and since they didn't come for the pickup even after the meeting time had passed, I called the local company listed on the voucher and requested another pickup. In the end, they arranged for a different staff member and vehicle, and although we arrived at the airport about 30 minutes later than scheduled, I was able to board my reserved flight. Another Japanese airport transfer service had closed its reservations early, but I was able to book this one right up until just before my departure from Japan, which was a benefit. However, I think it would have been safer to go with a Japanese tour company.

I had visited the Kamehameha statue and the "This Tree, What Tree" before, so I joined a tour to go to places I hadn't been to. The guide took us to spots that even the repeat visitors from Hawaii didn't know about. It felt great to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy the beautiful weather in the countryside. The malasada was delicious, and even though I can't eat shrimp, I was satisfied with the chicken katsu plate that was prepared for me.

The sunset and starry sky at Haleakalā were breathtakingly beautiful. It was an experience that sharpened all my senses.

The tour was enjoyable thanks to Yamapi's attentive support and engaging conversation, allowing me to reflect on myself. He provided detailed lectures about Haleakalā and the starry sky, making it easy to immerse myself in the experience without getting bored. Additionally, we enjoyed Krispy Kreme donuts and poke bowls along the way, and dining while watching the sunset over Maui was exceptionally delicious.

I definitely want to come back to Maui and participate in this tour again!

We participated in a tour as a couple aged 68 and 65. It was our first experience with horseback riding, but there was one assistant for every four people, so it was easy to just follow along without any issues.

Once we got from the ranch to the coast, we were able to see the beautiful blue sea from a high vantage point. While enjoying the view of the ocean, we had a fun time leisurely riding the horses. The horses were accustomed to carrying people, so we just had to maintain our balance. We only needed to slightly change direction or move the reins when stopping. The 70 minutes flew by.

After horseback riding, we went to Haleiwa and tried the garlic shrimp and fries combo from a food truck recommended by our driver, Kazu. It was truly wonderful.

日本出国の直前にツアーを見つけ、参加希望日の直前の申込みでしたが、親切に対応してくださいました。事前に日本語ガイドの手配が難しいと連絡がありましたが、手配してくださいました。今回Toshiさんという方が同行してくださいましたが、他の外国人ツアー客もみながら、私達の事もしっかりフォローして色々な事を教えてくださり、楽しい充実したツアーとなりました！
〈コロナ感染対策〉
車は全12名が乗れるほどのサイズ感で、ハワイは既にマスク着用者が殆どいない事もあり、他の外国人参加者の方はノーマスクでした。私達は車内のみ一応マスクしていました。
〈コーヒーファーム〉
店内はローカル感満載のお洒落で、コーヒーと朝食をいただきました。パンは1人ずつ違う物を選びシェアして食べました。どちらも美味しかったですが、個人的にはウインナー入りが美味しかったです。
出発までの時間にコーヒーの木を見たり、コーヒーを購入してお土産もゲットできました。
〈ワイメア滝〉
綺麗な花、珍しい植物や鳥など滝に行くまでもとても楽しめました。Toshiさんが色々と教えてくださり、今回ハワイで見たかったカラフルなヤモリGECKOにも会うことができました。
滝までの道は舗装されており、小さな子供も沢山いてハイキングを楽しんでいました。服装は動きやすい格好でOKですし、虫除け対策に長袖を持って調節すれば問題ないです。今回は泳がないつもりで行きましたが、素足で入れる場所がなく石が痛いため少ししか浸かりませんでした。現地のライフガードもいますし、ライフジャケットも貸してもらえます。更衣室もありますが、ロッカーは無いので貴重品は個人管理です。日本語ガイドさんが一緒に入ってくれていたので安心そうでした。水着を持っていけば良かったです。
観光客がどんどんくるので、人が少ないうちに滝に行けるようにしてくれていました。
園内ではハワイの文化も学びますが、最後はクイズにチャレンジし記念にピンバッチをもらいました。ランチはシュリンプを選びましたが、少しスパイシーでエビが大きく美味しかったです。
〈Dole〉
周りの景色もよくパイナップルアイスがとても美味しかったです。滞在時間が短く他の観光客が多いので、アイスなどを食べたい場合は、すぐにショップの右奥に並びに行った方が良いです。

短い時間の中にも色々が凝縮されていて、とても楽しめるツアーだと思います！

First day in Hawaii. My son and I were looking forward to the Segway tour. The moment I met the person who came to pick us up and greeted them, I had a good feeling that today would be a great day! That feeling was spot on! We got to see the beautiful ocean, and the guide and staff were very kind. The conversations during the Segway ride were really enjoyable, creating wonderful memories. It was my first time, but there was plenty of practice time, and they provided support and consideration for the order when moving alongside others, which made me feel safe. Thank you very much.
