We took the tour on 12/24/2024. It was a full car but very friendly and nice guests together! The eruption was very stunning and the star gaze - wow!
Our guide James is very helpful patient and good at photo shooting as well. He can also speak a little Japanese. Parka jackets saved our lives for sure.
The overall trip experience was excellent. The sandwich was surprisingly good as well.

This is my second time reaching the summit, and I over-prepared, thinking it would be just as cold as last time. However, I realized there is a significant difference between the January ascent and the September ascent, almost like winter and summer. I was lacking information, but I still had a wonderful experience.

This is my second time visiting Kualoa Ranch. Last time, I participated in a 4WD tour. While it might be fun for the driver, I felt that the passengers didn't have as much excitement. This time, I joined a tour on an E-Mountain Bike, which involved riding electric bicycles. It was a self-guided tour where we explored various locations, including movie filming sites, and the exhilaration of riding through nature was fantastic. Driving was a bit challenging at first, but once I got the hang of it, it became very enjoyable, and I was able to ride comfortably. Next time I come, I would like to try a different attraction.

My husband and I had a great time in the tour. We were picked up on time and the guide made the trip to the summit entertaining and we learned many different things about Hawaii during that time.
The sunset at the summit is breathtaking and our guide was prepared to take pictures that he later shared with all of us!
It got cold after the sunset…. so be ready. The hot chocolate while stargazing was a very nice addition!

I waited about 15 to 20 minutes for departure, and it took about an hour to reach my hotel in Waikiki. This is the usual timing for me. We arrived at the place by the shuttle bus, which was next to where we took the sunset cruise two days ago. It was the luau show at Aloha Tower. Even though I've been to Hawaii several times and this was my third cruise, it was my first time experiencing the luau at Aloha Tower.

The female guide who approached us and asked, "Are you from Japan?" was very kind. The entertainment during the show was lively and powerful. The commentator was beautiful and wonderful as well. The food was delicious, and the drink tickets (two for us) were just the right amount.

When I come to Hawaii again, I will definitely come back to this luau!

I had been to see the wall art before, but this time I joined a Segway tour because I was tired from walking. At first, I was worried about whether I could ride it properly, but even someone as uncoordinated as I am was able to master it without any issues after about 40 minutes of practice. Although the area has become much safer, it's reassuring to have a guide in the warehouse district. There were artworks that I wouldn't have found on foot, and I was able to take photos, making it a very memorable experience.

I also learned about the local people's and Americans' perspectives on Japan, as well as information about the USS Arizona.

The most challenging part was figuring out how to get there, so I’ll note that down. We took the bus from Waikiki to Pearl Harbor, which took just over an hour. Ideally, a taxi would be quicker, but this way, we could enjoy the local atmosphere at a leisurely pace. Once we arrived at Pearl Harbor by bus, we headed straight towards the sea. After checking our bags, we were allowed in. I brought a small pouch, but it wasn't allowed. Only items smaller than the wallet at the entrance can be brought in. There is no cost here.

After passing through the gate and heading right, a shuttle bus was waiting. It stops at the USS Missouri and the aircraft viewing area in order, taking about 10 minutes. We got off at the Missouri. We walked towards the battleship. At the lower entrance, we showed our printed voucher barcode to get in. Once on the deck of the battleship, they asked for our tour guide preferences, and when I requested Japanese, Alex came out to assist us. At that time, there were three groups, including us, totaling five people together.

He explained for a while, and then we explored the battleship on our own. This took about two hours in total. It was great that the bus fare was only three dollars, but the round trip took too long, so we took an Uber back.

ここではお金はかかりません。
門を通過して右へ進むとシャトルバスが待機していました。
そこから10分くらい、まずミズーリ戦艦そして航空機見学できる場所に順に停まります。私たちはミズーリの方でおりました。
戦艦目指して歩きます。
下の入り口で印刷したバウチャーバーコードを提示すると入れてくれます。
戦艦のデッキに上がるとツアーガイドの希望を聞いてくれて、日本語をお願いするとアレックスさんが出てきてくれました。この時間帯は私たちいれて3組、5名が一緒でした。
しばらく説明をしてくださり、戦艦内は自分たちで見学するスタイルです。これ全部で二時間くらいはかかってしましました。
ザバスは、三ドルで行けたのも良かったですが流石に往復バスは時間が勿体無いので、かえりはウーバーで帰りました。

本当は時間をもっととりたかったのですが、閉館時間になってしまい叶わず。また次回アリゾナ記念館や航空機見学にも行きたいです。
