1. First of all, there was no confirmation of my name during the pick-up.
2. Even though I said "Thank you" when receiving my luggage at the airport, the driver didn't make eye contact and got into the car in silence...

It was clearly intentional. Is this racial discrimination? We are customers, after all.

There are plenty of pick-up companies available, so I would like to reconsider using this service in the future. By the way, the driver who came to pick me up at the hotel on September 30 at 8:05 was the one involved. I think they should receive further training.

We were in Awe when we saw Waimea Canyon, most unforgettable sight so far and for the record we have seen Grand Canyon as well. the tour package itself is great, our driver is awesome forgot his name already ( sorry) he makes sure that each and everyone needs are met. I had heard that the oxygen is thin, but I was surprised at how difficult it was to breathe at such a high altitude! I really felt the impact of being told repeatedly to "take deep breaths." Fortunately, we had good weather and it wasn't too cold. I was a bit worried because I had been lax with my cold weather gear, but the warm clothing I was lent was very light and kept me from feeling cold at all.

The sunset is beautiful no matter where you see it, but here at 4,200 meters! Watching the bright red sun setting above the sea of clouds was truly magnificent. Then, we descended to 3,400 meters for stargazing. I checked the moon phase, and it was the fifth day after the new moon, so we could see the Milky Way clearly in the star-filled sky. The explanations about the constellations were very thorough and easy to understand. I took a lot of photos. Thank you very much!

First of all, it started with a very friendly guide (Macchan) welcoming us with a warm "aloha." He was considerate of my elderly mother and helped her into the front seat, which was easier for her to get in and out of.

That day, the bus was almost full. The scenery gradually changed from lava to more greenery. As we ascended, we entered the clouds and experienced some light rain, which made the changing views even more exciting.

To acclimatize to the altitude, we had about an hour of lunch time at the Onizuka Center before heading to the summit of Mauna Kea. The sea of clouds, sunset, and starry sky were different from what I had seen online or in guidebooks.

The 360-degree view was breathtaking. We observed the stars under some of the world's renowned observatories, in temperatures that felt unlike Hawaii. I was a bit worried about altitude sickness, but it turned out to be no problem at all.

Macchan was knowledgeable about cameras and took some wonderful photos, so I can enjoy them even after returning home. It became a lovely memory.

先ずは、とっても気さくなガイドさん（まっちゃんさん）の〜aloha〜お迎えからはじまりました。高齢の母を気遣って下さり、乗り降りのしやすい助手席に乗せていただきました。
この日はほぼ満員。
溶岩から段々と緑が増えていきます。どんどん標高があがり、途中　雲の中に突入したり、パラパラと雨が降ったりで、目まぐるしく景色が変わると共に期待もどんどん膨らんでいきます。
体を高地に慣らすためにオニヅカセンターで1時間ほどお弁当タイムを経て、マウナケア山頂へ。
ネットや、ガイドブックなどで見たものとは違う、雲海や夕陽、星空でした。
360度素晴らしい景色。世界の名だたる天文台の下での星空観測。ハワイとは思えない気温。
少しだけ心配していた高山病もまったく問題ありませんでした。
まっちゃんさんがカメラに詳しくて、とてもステキな写真を撮ってくださったので、帰国後も写真見て楽しめます。
素敵な想い出になりました。

I had plans to play golf in Hawaii and brought my golf bag from Japan. Many other companies and taxis charge extra for golf bags, but this one did not, so I chose it. I chose this tour because it offers a newly revamped experience in Haleiwa with beach horseback riding. Our guide, Hiro, was very efficient, and we had the opportunity to shop in Haleiwa. The recommended garlic shrimp was incredibly delicious. During the horseback riding, there was an initial explanation in English, but Hiro was there to translate, which made me feel at ease. The seaside views were stunning, and I was thrilled to see turtles. On the way back, we avoided traffic while passing through Chinatown with a guided tour, making it a very fulfilling and packed experience.

新しくなったハレイワの散策と海辺の乗馬ができることからこちらのツアーを選びました。ガイドのヒロさんがとても効率良くまわって下さり、ハレイワではお買い物もでき何よりオススメのガーリックシュリンプがとても美味しかったです。また乗馬では最初に英語で説明されるのですが、ヒロさんが側について訳してくれ安心して乗れました。海辺の景色は素晴らしくカメも見れて大満足です。帰りは渋滞を回避しながらチャイナタウンをガイドしながら通ったりと盛りだくさんながらとても充実したツアーでした。

Deluxe is the word! As if the natural awesomeness of a live volcano,a national park and stars was not enough this trip also includes a tasty picnic lunch and a 5 star dining experience for dinner. Add to this an extremely knowledgeable guide who serenades you with ukulele, tells amazing Hawaiian myths, provides astronomical binoculars to improve photographs taken on your phones and cameras of a live volcano at night and leads a sing-along on the way home.
This was a long day but easily the best tour our family has ever taken. Booking via Veltra tours was easy, even from overseas.

I previously participated in the stargazing and sunrise tour, and it was amazing, so I wanted to relive that experience by joining the sunset and stargazing tour. Unfortunately, due to the weather, the sunset was a bit disappointing because of the clouds, and I thought the stargazing would be beautiful since it was close to a new moon, but we ended up seeing it at a lower elevation where the clouds were present, which was half of what we could have seen in the national park. After experiencing a sky full of stars once, I felt a bit let down. However, the guide's stories and explanations about the stars were very detailed and enjoyable, and their attentiveness was remarkable, so I plan to participate again. The stop at the donut shop and shopping at the club were also very nice. Additionally, even though I met the other participants for the first time, it was a fun tour with a friendly atmosphere. If only the stars had been visible, it would have been a five-star tour! ⭐︎

以前星空とサンライズに参加してスゴくよかったので、あの感動をと思いサンセットと星空に参加しました。残念ながらお天気の関係でサンセットは雲で微妙で星空は新月近いので綺麗に見えると思っていたのですが、雲で国立公園も出た標高が半分のところで観ました。一度満天の星空を経験した後だったので、残念だなと思いました。ガイドさんのお話しや星の説明はとても詳しくたのしかったし、気遣いもすごく行き届いたものだったのでまた参加するつもりです。途中寄ったドーナツ屋さんやクラでのお買い物もとてもよかったです。また、一緒に乗り合わせた方々とも初対面なのに和気あいあいとして楽しいツアーでした。星空さえ見えたら５星のツアーです⭐︎

My husband likes Hawaii Five-O and wanted to see the places where the series is being filmed. We learned the history of these places as well as what goes on behind the scenes. It was great to have met the owner of the house where one of the scenes was filmed. It was o four hour tour that covered most of the places anyone would want to see in Honolulu. Great landscapes and sceneries.

My family enjoyed the dinner cruise. The Staff were so accommodating to change the menu to their guests preference. I learned a lot which side I should wear my flower. The entertainment is awesome, complete with the proper attire to educate the guests about the Hawaiian tradition, I will highly recommend this dinner cruise to anyone visiting Hawaii .Thanks to Emily of Veltra for helping me book the Star of Honolulu Sunset Dinner Cruise.

The guide was outstanding. He is a geologist with a lot of experience. He provide
a lot of information on the volcano as well as information about the the big island in general. He helped us take pictures as well as provided answers to questions we asked. This was a great tour.
