A few days before my reservation, I received an email saying, "We were unable to prepare the optional cake and wine." (It mentioned that they had called several times, but I was worried about high communication costs, so I only lived on WiFi.) I had made a high-priced reservation for a cruise plus cake and champagne to create wonderful memories on the day of the ceremony. Yet, to have a mix-up in arrangements... I was disappointed; it wasn't just about the refund for the cake and wine. There were only a few replies, and then no response at all. As a result, I couldn't enjoy the cruise and just ended up having a meal... It's surprising that such things can happen.

It was a crab-all-you-can-eat course, but they didn't bring the crabs quickly, so I couldn't eat much... I was disappointed about that as well.

予約数日前に「オプションのケーキとワインのご用意が出来てませんでした」とのメールが届いてました(何度か電話しましたとメールに記載されてましたが通信費高額請求が怖いのでWiFiのみで生活してました)　挙式当日の良き思い出にとクルージング＋ケーキとシャンパンを･･と高い金額を出して予約をしてました。なのに手配ミスとは･･･。がっかりというか、ケーキとワイン代の返金云々の問題ではないと私は思ったのですが･･･返信も数回きりで無反応。なのでクルージングを楽しめずに、食事して終了･･･。こんなこともあるんですね、ほんとびっくりしました。

カニ食べ放題というコースでしたが、なかなかカニを運んでこないのでたくさんは食べれず････こちらもがっかりでした。

This is a highly recommended tour that you absolutely must go on when you visit Maui. Seeing the scenery that I had only seen in photos with my own eyes was truly moving. The stories were also very interesting, making for a fun day.

I quickly made a reservation for the rib steak recommended by Yamapi and ordered all the recommended dishes! Everything was really delicious. Thank you very much.

However, I thought that the time from boarding to departure might be a bit long, which could make some guests feel bored.

We took a sunset cruise on a pretty nice boat. Each meal was served in a different venue on board, allowing us to enjoy our food while watching performances by the crew, including singing and dancing. It felt more like a dance show than a sunset experience. They really got the party going!

I used it on June 28. I go to Hawaii every year, and this time I stayed for 8 days, but it was only sunny for a day and a half. Even though it was the dry season, it felt like Japan's rainy season. In addition to regular sightseeing, I was able to enjoy not only delicious restaurant menus but also learn about places that weren't so good (laughs) and many little tips that I wouldn't have gotten from guidebooks or on my own, allowing me to have a wonderful time. The weather was nice, and although the moon was bright, I wasn't able to see as many stars as I had hoped, but the sky was still beautifully clear. It was evident that our guide, Mr. Yamauchi, was passionately dedicated to the tour, and I had a very enjoyable time. I also took many great photos. The sushi I bought at the supermarket was delicious as well. I would like to come back during the new moon next time.

Since it was an English tour, there were only three of us Japanese participants. We were packed into a small bus to full capacity and set off. The male guide was friendly, taking pictures for us at the rest stop, but the shopping planned at Clar Lodge was canceled without any explanation. After watching the sunset from the summit, we were all dropped off at the dining location without any follow-up. We were just ushered into the restaurant, where our seats were taken by other tour participants, leaving us feeling excluded.

I joined the English tour knowing what to expect, and I didn't anticipate the detailed support typical of Japanese tours, but it didn't turn out to be a very good experience, which is disappointing.

Initially, I was worried about whether I would be able to find the meeting point, but when I arrived at the gathering place, I was easily guided to the bus. They had a sticker on their chest, and after boarding, I received a natural flow of guidance from the Table Mountain tour to the hotel. I thought it was a well-organized tour, especially since it operates daily. The cruise was wonderful, and I enjoyed watching the dance show up close; it was friendly and fun. The meals were plentiful and delicious. Although the ship was large, it swayed more than I expected, so having motion sickness medication might be a good idea. The floors were separated by grade, and I was a bit disappointed that I couldn't access the floors of other grades or the top floor. However, it was very well managed, the sunset was beautiful, and it was a satisfying tour.

What a GREAT day!! 14 passenger van was very clean and our driver was very knowledgeable and professional. We had teenagers with us who stayed totally engaged. We enjoyed lunch at a wonderful little mom and pop restaurant along the way - Sharky’s. Our private party of 8 visited waterfalls, overlooks, a black beach, learned history of the island and spent time at Volcano National Park. Thank you for a wonderful day!!!

We booked a 1-star package with transportation, guaranteed private seating, commemorative photos, and a city lights option.

Upon gathering, we were given stickers based on our booking, which we attached to our clothing as a marker for boarding.

We were seated at a window-side table for two, but since it was on the port side, we could only see the ocean during the first half. On the return trip, we would turn around to view the city of Honolulu, but since the show had started, we didn't have time to enjoy the scenery (laughs). We enjoy having drinks with our meals, but the welcome cocktail included with this course was sufficient, and although we considered ordering additional wine, we ultimately did not. The waiter also did not encourage us to order more.

The two types of meals we ordered were served on one plate. Since my wife does not eat beef, we had requested a change to the chicken and fish course, but I received a plate with beef and chicken, while my wife got crab and fish. It was a mistake, but the combination was still edible, so we went ahead and ate it. I had low expectations for the meal due to previews mentioning the taste was mediocre, but it was actually quite delicious. The portion size was just right. Saying the meal was not tasty is an over-expectation; it’s better not to dine outside of top hotel restaurants.

After the meal, we had some time to enjoy the view before the show started, but since we had taken our time eating, we didn’t have much time left. The show took place among the audience rather than on a stage. I think it would be more enjoyable for families with children.

We returned to the port around 7:30 PM, and afterward, only the city lights participants were taken by car to Tantalus Lookout. We had a good view of the city of Honolulu and saw a decent night view. However, since it’s not a very large city, it doesn’t quite reach the level of a spectacular night view. If you participate, I think it’s best to go with the mindset of just having a story to tell about your trip to Hawaii.

私達は食事の時にお酒を楽しむ方ですが、このコースに付いていたウェルカムカクテルで十分で、追加でワインを頼もうかと考えていましたが注文しませんでした。また、ウェイターの方が追加を促すような事もありませんでした。

食事は注文した2種類がワンプレートで提供されます。私達は妻が牛肉を食べないので、チキンと魚のコースへ変更をお願いしていたのですが、私の所にビーフとチキンが、妻の所へカニと魚のプレートが置かれました。間違っていましたが、この組み合わせは食べられなくはなかったので、このままいただきました。
食事の味はイマイチとのプレビューがあったので期待していませんでしたが、十分美味しくいただけました。量も丁度いいくらいでした。
この食事が美味しくないというのは、期待し過ぎと言うものです。一流ホテルのレストラン以外で食事しない方がいいでしょう。

食事の後、景色を楽しむ為にショーが始まるまでしばらく時間をとっていますが、私達はゆっくり食事をしていたため、あまり時間がありませんでした。
ショーは特にステージなどがあるのではなく、客席の中で行われます。お子さんなどがいるとより楽しめる内容だと思います。

19:30頃に帰港し、その後シティーライツ参加者のみ車でタンタラスの丘へ。
ホノルルの街が一望できてそれなりの夜景が見れました。
ただ、それほど大きな街ではありませんので、素晴らしい夜景とまでは行きません。参加されるなら、ハワイに来た話の種に行ってみるくらいの感覚でいいと思います。

If you dont get the parking pass it’s worth to book the tour.
The guide was amazing and knowledgeable.
He shared many deep facts about the place, showed us variety of flowers and plants and shared interesting facts about them.
He stopped at other view points on the way while coming back.
The breakfast place they stopped was level up and the breakfast was very good.
I surely recommend to book the tour.

I took my daughter and her family to this Luau and I am so glad we bought the Royal package. It was great. We were right in front and the dancing was great and the Fire dancing was fantastic. I also liked the fact the they involved you in different activities. Food was great also. I liked the fact they will stay and take pictures with you at the end with your own camera. Overall I would definitely recommend this Luau to everyone.

Departure around 7 o'clock and return around 3 o'clock. The tour itself takes about an hour, with one session in the morning and one in the afternoon. There was a lot of waiting time, and it wasn't that impressive. Well, I thought it wouldn't hurt to go at least once!

The luau itself was amazing. My family and I enjoyed participating in the pre show activities while learning about true polynesian culture and traditions. It's a smaller luau with only about 200 guests but with the smaller number of patrons you really get to interact and learn from everyone involved.
The host for the activities, Uncle Bob, has a great sense of humor as do the men that do the "cooking" and food prep demonstrations. These men are no joke, they even climbed up the coconut trees. They teach you about a traditional tribe welcoming and uses the guests to act as the tribes while explaining the rituals associated with welcoming guests to their community.
Not a huge selection of foods to sample but everything there was delicious. Kalua pork, teriyaki chicken, macaroni salad, green salad with macadamia nuts, rice, rolls, chantilly cake from Teds Bakery and a coconut type of jello dessert.
The family band that played music during dinner was Amazing. Those kids can really sing! The dancing was very traditional, not just girls in coconut bras and hula skirts, but real polynesian dancing showcasing dances from a variety of the polynesian islands. I was a VIP guest and we were right at eye level with the stage but it looked like most people would have quite a good view of the stage. We also got to go to the buffet first and got great souvenirs. My husband and I got hand fans, my son got a wooden Maui-type hook necklace and my daughter got a wood beaded bracelet that said Hawaii with hibiscus flowers printed on it. After dinner and show on your way out you were able to speak more with the staff and dancers and take pictures with them.
If it was your birthday we all sang happy birthday and you got an extra piece of cake, if it was your anniversary or honeymoon they brought you onstage for a slow dance and gave you a nut lei.
All this plus you get entry into the Waimea valley where you can swim in a waterfall and see beautiful trees and foliage!
