This time, I participated with my son to celebrate his coming of age. It was originally scheduled for December 26, but due to bad weather, it was canceled. We used this service for our honeymoon trip. We were picked up from the hotel at 5 AM and arrived at the location just after 6 AM. With a 5 AM pickup, I was able to enjoy the sunrise after arriving, and since the weather was nice and we finished in the morning, I could go to other places in the afternoon, making for a fulfilling day.

The driver spoke Japanese and was very kind, taking photos while we waited and providing detailed explanations. I was the only one actually skydiving, and my mother, who was a spectator and doesn't speak English, felt anxious waiting alone, but she was happy because the driver took her to a good spot for photos and chatted with her.

As for the skydiving itself, it was amazing!!! The feeling of being completely free, with no part of my body touching anything!!! However, there was one issue. We participated as a couple and requested both photo and video shoots. After the skydiving was successfully completed, my wife had a puzzled look on her face and said, "The cameraman wasn't by my side during the jump." I couldn't believe it, so I went to the reception, and sure enough, there was only a cameraman for me, and none for my wife. When I confirmed, they simply said, "I'm sorry. This was our mistake." Our honeymoon in Hawaii was our first trip together! I wanted to do something different from everyone else, and while browsing a website, I discovered skydiving! Also, another photographer offers videos and photos for an additional fee! I highly recommend this! It's about 20,000 yen, but having someone jump with me made me feel more at ease.

I chose the 4,200-meter jump this time, but it was higher than I expected, haha. If you're unsure, I think starting with the 2,100-meter jump would be a good idea!

The tour allowed for up to two observers, but when I emailed to say that I wanted all three sisters to be there to support her, they kindly made an exception just for us.

Before jumping, you can choose whether to have no filming, use a GoPro, or hire a photographer. I requested to use a GoPro. You can decide whether to purchase the video after seeing what was filmed. The instructor constantly takes photos and videos, which really boosts your excitement and enhances communication, so I highly recommend it! After skydiving, there is a notebook where you can leave a message for the instructor. It's a shame I couldn't express myself well in English. The main purpose of this trip to Hawaii was to go skydiving. I participated alone, but my excitement outweighed my anxiety, and I had high expectations even before the departure. The weather was clear on the day, and the views were amazing! The dive exceeded my expectations. My tandem partner Connor and the photographer Kira were both fantastic! I also had a great conversation with the driver during the transfer, which made me very satisfied! I definitely want to experience this again!
