We experienced this with four friends. Our friends sat in the front row next to the pilot, while my husband and I were in the back right side. Shortly after takeoff, we headed north from above the coastline of Waikoloa towards the Kohala Mountains. We were amazed by the beauty of Waikoloa where we were staying, and the view of Maui from the sea was also deeply moving. It was all of our first time on a helicopter, and I thought the fear would be overwhelming, but as we ascended along the mountain slopes, we were able to enjoy it with a moderate sense of tension. The beauty of Waipi'o Valley was stunning, and I wanted to land and explore, but since it was a short course this time, we just circled without landing. (Next time, I would like to have lunch there.) Lastly, the staff were kind, friendly, and we had a great time. (One of the female staff members looked just like my mother when she was younger, which made me laugh.)

友人夫婦がパイロットさんの隣の前列、私たち夫婦は後ろの右側でした。
離陸直後、西側の海岸線のワイコロアの上空から、北上しコハラ山脈に向かいました。
宿泊しているワイコロアの綺麗さに驚き、また、海から眺めるマウイ島も
感慨ぶかいものがありました。
４人ともヘリに乗るのは初めてで、怖さが勝るかと思いましたが、山の傾斜に
沿って高度を上げていったので、適度な緊張感で楽しむ事が出来ました。
ワイピオの谷あいも美しく、着陸して楽しみたかったですが、今回は短時間のコースでしたので、着陸せずに周遊するだけでした。
（次回は、ランチでもしたいです。）
最後にスタッフの方々も優しく、親切で楽しい時間が過ごせました。
（スタッフの女性が若かりし頃の母親そっくりで、笑ってしまいました。）

Honestly, I'm not fluent in English, but fortunately, on the day I participated, there was a Japanese staff member who helped me by explaining the instructor's instructions in Japanese. After that, I communicated with the instructor using simple English and gestures, and I was able to fly safely.

It was a nerve-wracking experience, and I thought that people who do this job are crazy. But looking back now, coming down over the ocean in Hawaii was an amazing experience, and the sea was incredibly beautiful! I want to experience it again.

In November, it was just the rainy season, and there was rain before the flight, plus we had to wait due to the wind, but thanks to that, I was able to see a rainbow from the Cessna.

The staff was cheerful and kind. I have flown many times before, but this felt like a completely different drive into the sky. I gave up my window seat to a friend, but I felt like that was a mistake. I think it would be difficult for those with a fear of heights, but I would recommend it to people who enjoy attractions like roller coasters. I think I would like to ride it again.

The driver was from the same hometown, and we had a great time chatting in the car.

It was my first time piloting, but I received solid instruction from the person next to me, which made it enjoyable. The pilot and I communicated in our limited Japanese and English, creating a fun atmosphere during the flight.

They also took photos while I was piloting, and I’m really happy that I could capture those moments! The staff were all kind and attentive, making it a wonderful memory for our honeymoon.

On the day of the flight, the weather was great from the morning, with visibility over 15 miles and wind speeds below 10 knots, making it perfect flying weather. I heard that flights had been canceled due to strong winds until the day before, so we were very lucky. I was very satisfied to have control for a long time from around Hanauma Bay to above Pearl Harbor. I believe the stable weather and air currents contributed to this experience. If I have the opportunity again, I would love to do it.

当日は朝から天候も良く、視程15mile以上風速は10kt以下と絶好のフライト日和でした。
前日まで強風によるフライトキャンセルが続いていたと聞き我々の運の良さにも救われました。
ハナウマ湾手前辺りからパールハーバー上空まで長い時間コントロールさせて頂き、大変満足しました。天候、気流共に安定していたことが良かったのだと思いました。また機会があれば、やってみたいと思います。

My first skydiving experience became the best memory!

Since I participated alone, I requested a tour with transportation. When I arrived at the designated location at 6:50 AM, the guide came to pick me up. It was a coincidence, but the staff spoke Japanese, and we had a fun conversation on the way.

Upon arrival, I checked in using an iPad. Everything was in English, but it mainly covered the content that if you get injured, it's your own responsibility. If you don't understand, the staff can explain the general content in Japanese.

It seems that there is a set order for jumping, so I waited until I was called. Whether you can jump also greatly depends on the weather that day; if there are too many clouds, you can't jump, and there's a possibility of cancellation. そろそろ飛ぶ準備ってなって担当のインストラクターさんとご挨拶！カタコトの日本語で挨拶してくれました！こちらもカタコトの英語で挨拶！笑
インストラクターさんからも飛んだあとのフォームのレクチャーを受けます。指示出しは日本語でしてくれました！

セスナに搭乗し、いざ空へ！
最初のダイバーが飛んだらそれに続いてポンポン飛んでいったので、怖いと思う暇もなく飛び降りて、逆に楽しさしかありませんでした！
1分くらいのフリーフォールらしいですが体感はもっと長かった気がしました。
そこからパラシュートが、開いてくるくる回りながら降下！これはインストラクターさんによるかもですが、くるくる回るの楽しい〜！って言ってたらめっちゃしてくれました笑
たぶん怖がってたらゆーたり降りてくれると思います笑

終わったらスカイダイビングの認定証みたいなのをくれます。そして、感想を書く用紙と封筒をくれるので日本語でメッセージを書きインストラクターさんへのチップを封筒に入れて、ボックスへ投函。

私は帰りの送迎も頼んでいたので、ちょうど終わったタイミングで、乗れることになりました。
(飛ぶ順番によっては待つかも？)
帰りは現地スタッフの方だったので、話されるのは英語。私は流暢に英語は喋れないので車の中で仮眠してました。
予定時間通りに最初のピックアップ場所に到着！そして、そのまま解散です。

内容としてはとても満足でした！
人生で一度はスカイダイビングをしてみたいと思っていて、ハワイの空と海をバックにできて素晴らしかったです！
またやりたいと思いました！

The main purpose of my trip to Hawaii was to experience this, and it was absolutely amazing! The interactions with the control tower and the takeoffs and landings were all handled by professional pilots, so even as a complete beginner with only a basic understanding of simple English words, I was able to participate. After takeoff, once we reached stable flight, I was even allowed to do a little bit of maneuvering, which left me very satisfied. The pilot who flew with us was a woman named Sharon. I'm grateful for her clear English during our conversation. After we ascended, I took turns operating the controls with her.

旅の最終日に行ったのですが、個人的には大正解でした。行った場所を上空から見ることで、あーここに行ったのかー、ワイキキから結構遠いんだなーとか、上から見るとこんなにきれいなのかーとか、ここでUber拾ったなーなんて、思い出と照らし合わせながら楽しめます。英語が得意な方は上空のパイロットの説明を聞いてると様々が知識が得られます(私は苦手&無線は厳しいため、後で妻から教えてもらいました)。写真はとてもきれいで、少々高くても思い出に購入してもいいかと。動画は自身で撮影してなければ購入してもいいと思います。

スタッフは全員とてもフレンドリーです。遅れて行ってもとても丁寧に案内していただき、地上でも上空でも常に明るく親切にしていただきました。

終了後、もしそのまま空港に行かれる場合は、徒歩で50分ほどかかると出ましたので、Uberかタクシーが必須です。

決して安いアクティビティではありませんが、それでも体験する価値が大変あると思います。
