I took the boat there and back from Lahaina harbor, very clean and safe. I highly reccomend taking this boat over the water to other islands. Remember to have fun and be safe. Boat went past some whales!

Started off by getting a call from captain to ensure we were in the area because we couldn’t find it initially. Get on the boat yummy bfast cinnamon rolls- beautiful ocean. We sat up front on the netting- saw flying fish dolphins and whales! The captain of the ship made sure we had a great experience by allowing us to view the dolphins and driving toward the whales to ensure we got a better look. They had lots of facts about the marine animals we saw- the island- and the history of trilogy. During the stay at lanai we enjoyed the beautiful beach and tide pooling- we did not snorkel or snuba. Before we left the island we had a yummy lunch, bbq chicken and noodles that the crew made fresh in a wok smelled so good! Then we boarded the ship and headed back- on the way back we got to see some whales and we learned about the end of whale season and the competition between male whales to get female etc. Mai tais on the way home even offered non alcoholic moctails for the kids. Plus delicious ice cream. Was by far our favorite trip adults and kids included. Thanks trilogy for the amazing experience!

Fantastic trip from beginning to end - The boat ride to the island was smooth and very enjoyable, saw tons on dolphins right up to the boat, flying next to the boat and jumping our of the water. Even saw a Mommy and Baby dolphin - so Cute!!! Then to the Lanai island for a unbelievable snorkeling experience - so many beautiful fish - schools of them - amazing. The Crew was supportive and watchful for the entire group's safety and highest level of Fun. The lunch is all you can eat freshly cooked noodles, teriyaki chicken, salad with mango dressing, refreshing drinks - the most wonderful meal. Don't miss this trip - it is 100% worth your time and the cost of the trip. We plan to go again when we return to Maui.

Really great captain and naturalist staff. The boat ride was enjoyable and we saw several whales. The snorkeling was beautiful. They have staff on surf boards setting up a safety perimeter. We really enjoyed this trip! We would definitely book again if we return to Maui.

Glad we did it but it's expensive and a very long day. Up at 3:45 to get a taxi to the airport for a 6:00am flight. The tour said lunch included, neither we nor anyone else on the tour thought it would be a packet of chips and a turkey wrap in a box on board the bus. It was. The tour locations were excellent, the volcano, lava tube, waterfalls were all spectacular. The guide was good.

The volcanic activity has already calmed down, allowing us to see the areas where lava has flowed and solidified. However, gas is still continuously being emitted, and we can observe that extensive volcanic activity is occurring underground from above.

It was both terrifying and moving to see from the helicopter how the lava flowed over a vast area, causing an entire village to disappear.

I received an email the day before asking me to confirm my reservation by phone, but I was participating in another tour, and when I tried to contact them, no one answered the emergency contact number. Even after leaving a message on the voicemail and sending an email, I received no response.

Moreover, despite it being clearly stated that lunch was included, when I asked the guide around noon, I was told that this tour did not include lunch, and I was even laughed at. I found out on the day that the flight times to Hawaii Island and Oahu Island were completely different, which really stressed me out.

I at least wanted lunch to be provided. For some reason, I was taken to a Japanese-owned bakery in a rural town that I had no interest in, and I wondered what the point was of being asked in advance what I wanted to eat.

The guide provided very little explanation about historical events or legends, mostly just talking about the eruptions from a few years ago. I was disappointed as the stories were only what I had already read in the news or guidebooks.

せめて昼食は出してほしかったです。なぜか全く興味のない田舎町の日本人経営のパン屋に連れていかれましたが、事前に食べたいものを聞かれた意味はなんだったんでしょうか。

ガイドも歴史的なことや伝説はほとんど説明がなく、数年前の噴火の話ばかり。ニュースやガイドブックに載っていた話だけだったのでがっかりでした。

I love the ferry

I always go back and forth on whether I want to fly or ride to ferry to Lana'i and I'm always so glad I choose the ferry when I do. Although it is a longer ride and takes a while to get to the harbor because of where I live, it's always a leisurely ride and I love watching the whales. The only downside is that if you don't get there early enough, you have to sit inside which is not as nice on a pretty day.

Careful where you park

The only issue was parking. We were told to park in the lot across from the big banyan tree so we did. We got a $60 ticket for overtime parking. Not pleased!!!!!

Rosario was a wonderful tour Guide. friendly and Professional. the van was clean and the windows were polished. He took us to some of the most beautiful places on Earth. at the top of the canyon he had a wonderful lunch set up. He talked with each person and got some information about their origins and back - ground. the photo stops were unbelievable and he made everybody feel special and their was not one question he did not answer in detail! He gave great prospective, from a locals point of view ton every topic. I highly recommend Rosario (for your next ohau - kauai - tour) Five stars all the way!

Easy ride over to Lanai

It was a great ride! If you want to sit on top of the ferry and get a good view, be sure to get there early. We saw lots of whales on our way back from Lanai! Take a Dramamine if you get a little motion sickness and you won’t have any issues. The ferry was spacious and super easy to book online. We will definitely be going back to lanai using this service!

The staff were wonderful and went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable during the ride. It was whale season, so we saw many whales during the crossing. Great experience! Steve was extremely knowledgeable and told us all about Lanai’s history. He took his time and made sure we got the best from our tour.
