What was great was that there were no other Japanese people besides us. When you often book optional marine sports tours, they tend to be filled with Japanese participants, but in this case, there were no other Japanese except for us. Consequently, the language spoken by the instructor was English, which might be tough for those who don't speak it. Additionally, only the minimum safety instructions for snorkeling were provided, so beginners might feel anxious. That said, when I did snorkeling for the first time, I just jumped in and copied what I saw, so it might be okay even for complete beginners.

On the day of the tour, I made a mistake with the meeting time and was late, but as soon as I realized my mistake and called, they laughed and said they would wait for me. That was a relief...

The snorkeling spot was amazing; there were so many turtles, and I encountered a lot of turtles and fish! After snorkeling, we had a cruise from off Waikiki to around Diamond Head, which was also great! I would love to join this tour again.

良かったのは、なによりも日本人が私たち以外いなかったこと。
良くマリンスポーツのオプショナルツアーを申し込むと、日本人だらけのツアーになりがちなのですが、これは日本人は私たち以外いませんでした。
必然的にインストラクターの喋る言語は英語なので、英語が出来ない人には辛いかもしれません。
また、シュノーケルに関する最低限の注意事項のみしかレクチャーされないため、シュノーケルが初めての人は不安に感じるかもしれません。
といっても私も初めてシュノーケルをやった時は見よう見真似でいきなりやったので、全くの初心者でも大丈夫なのかもしれませんが。

当日、集合時間を間違え遅刻をしたのですが、その間違いに気が付いた瞬間、電話をしたら、笑って待っててもらえました。良かった・・・。

シュノーケルをしたポイントは、本当に亀がいっぱいいたので、沢山の亀と魚に出会えましたよ！
シュノーケル後は、ワイキキ沖からダイヤモンドヘッドあたりまでのクルーズがついていたので、それも良かったです！
またこのツアーに参加したいです。

This is my second time, following last year. It was a bit cold last year, so I was hoping this year would be better... but it was even colder. I chose a different tour this year, and the staff's response was good. Last year, my mother suddenly decided not to go at the last minute, so this year I let her participate without saying anything. On January 3rd, it was winter in Hawaii as well, but everyone was swimming while saying it was cold. We got to see sea turtles and manta rays, and we enjoyed beach volleyball at a beautiful sandbar. The tour company from last year took photos of each group and posted them online, but this time we only took photos ourselves, so I wished they had taken pictures of each group.

昨年に続き２度目です。昨年はちょっと寒かったので今年こそは・・・もっと寒かった・・・。昨年と違うツアーにしましたが、スタッフの対応も良く、去年母が突然間際になって行かないと言いだしたので今年は黙って参加させました。１月３日はハワイも冬でしたが、寒い寒いと言いながら皆さん泳いでいました。ウミガメとマンタも見れて、きれいなサンドバーではビーチバレーを楽しんでいました。昨年のツアー会社は１組ずつ写真を撮ってくれてＷＥＢ上に載せてくれましたが、こちらは写真を各自で撮るだけでしたので、１組ずつ撮ってくれたらと思いました。

The weather was a bit bad and cold, but the captain and the staff were so warm-hearted that I forgot about the cold and was able to enjoy myself. Additionally, one of the female staff members had her child with her, and they worked hard to take care of the guests, adding an extra layer of fun to the experience. I definitely want to enjoy my next visit with the wonderful staff again.

天候が少々悪く寒かったですが船長はじめ、スタッフの方々の対応が心温かくて、寒さを忘れてエンジョイ出来ました。また、女性スタッフの方のお子さんが添乗しいて、お客さんのお世話を一生懸命して大変楽しい時間にプラスαを加えてくれました。次回もまた是非素晴しいスタッフの方々のもとでエンジョイしたいと思います。

We wanted to visit a different beach than Waikiki, so we joined as a couple. The sandbar was even more beautiful than we imagined, and we were able to take a lot of photos. It's a perfect place to create memories, so I recommend bringing a waterproof camera. When we went, it was the rainy season, and it was cloudy during lunchtime. It was a bit chilly, so I skipped snorkeling and watched the sea turtles instead. The staff seemed to provide careful guidance, and everyone was having a great time. Overall, I think the cost performance is quite good.

Since the ocean entry of lava is currently unavailable, I opted for a helicopter tour. I was worried because it had been cloudy until the day before, but we were blessed with clear skies and were able to see breathtaking views. There were past craters scattered around, allowing us to witness the remnants of previous lava flows and observe how lava changes over time. The contrast between dry and rainy areas was also visible, giving us a sense of nature's dynamism. We could see roads cut off by lava flows, lava within the currently active Puʻu ʻŌʻō crater (which was a bit far away, and I wished we could get a little closer), and people walking towards the ocean entry. It was a comprehensive view of everything related to lava.

I took a lot of photos, but I was surprised at how different the intensity of the actual experience was compared to the pictures when I looked at them later. It was an impressive flight, and I would love to fly again by helicopter when lava activity becomes more active. The people who picked us up, the helicopter mechanics, the reception staff, and the pilot were all very kind, making it a truly enjoyable flight.

前日まで曇りで心配しましたが、快晴に恵まれ、迫力のある景色が見れました。
過去の噴火口があちこちにあり、過去のlaveの流れたあとを目にすることができるし、時の流れでlaveがどのように変化するか、乾燥地帯と多雨地帯の相違も目で見て自然のダイナミックさを感じることができました。また、laveの流れで寸断された道路や、現在活動中のpuoo火口内のlave（ちょっと遠くて、もう少し近づいてほしかった）、オーシャンエントリーに歩いていく人たち。laveに関するものが一望できました。
いっぱい写真も撮りましたが、帰って見た写真と実物の迫力がこれほど違うかとびっくりするぐらいでした。
laveの活動が活発になったら、もう一度ヘリで飛びたいと思う印象的なフライトでした。
迎えに来てくれた人や、ヘリの整備士の活動も見れたし、受付の人、パイロットはみんな親切でとても楽しいフライトでした。

I wanted to see the flowing lava into the ocean, so I joined a helicopter tour. 　ただ、目的の火山があまりアクティブでなく、のんびり溶岩が流れている様子が何カ所か見られるのみでした。それも上空からだと動いているかどうかは実感できません。今（今日？）溶岩はスリーピーとのこと。溶岩が噴出していたり、海には落ちていたりする様子はありませんでした。熱い溶岩がない訳ではないのですが午前中のフライトなので、溶岩がところどころ赤くなっていることが分かる程度で、夜だったら見え方は多少違うのかもしれません。2ヶ月くらい前に予約したので、火山の状態がどうかは運によるところが大きいのでしょう。この状態ならハイキングと星空ツアーの方が、より近くで流れる溶岩を見られてよいかと思いました。火山の状態をチェックしながらどのツアーにするか考えるとよいかもしれません。
　とはいえ、ヘリコプターは天気によって飛べないことがあり、過去2回、他のツアー会社ですが天気のせいでキャンセルになっているので、飛べてよかったです。

It was a slightly cloudy day, but the waves were calm, and there was absolutely no worry about seasickness—it was the best day! The sea was, as expected, very beautiful and clear. Although it was said that the sea was dark due to the clouds, we could still see the sea turtles clearly, and the photos turned out great!

Due to the tides, the sandbar had quite a bit of water, up to about waist-deep. Moreover, the seawater was cold! However, with the bright and energetic instructor's enthusiastic invitation, everyone squealed with excitement as we headed into the water. I was mistaken in thinking it would only be ankle-deep. Please be cautious about that. We were able to arrive at the hotel before noon, which was convenient time-wise. I highly recommend it!

潮の関係もありサンドバーは結構水深があり腰くらいまででした。しかも、海水は冷たい！！でも、明るく元気のよいインストラクターの強引な？誘いでみんなキャーキャー言いながら海へ。足首くらいと思っていたのは間違いでした。その点はご注意を。昼前にはホテルに到着でき、時間的にも適当でよかったです。オススメです。

I participated on December 16th. It was my first time, and I was nervous, but both the captain and Daisuke were very friendly, so my nerves quickly disappeared.

We were blessed with good weather and encountered a pod of dolphins, and I was able to swim among them and even hear their voices, which was incredibly moving.

I would love to participate again if I have the chance. This is a highly recommended tour.

The heavenly sea that I had wanted to visit!

I participated alone, leaving my friend who is prone to seasickness behind. This tour is perfect for those who want to see sea turtles! If you wait, they come up to the surface for air, so even those who can't dive can see them up close. It's definitely better than the roped-off basking area at Laniakea Beach (laughs).

I read that they don't provide fins, so I brought my own. I didn't use them, but the floating stick that serves as a life jacket seemed a bit unreliable, so I think those who aren't confident in their swimming should wear a rash guard or bring a floatie for a more enjoyable experience.

There were only black fish, so you can't expect to see tropical fish while snorkeling. It was disappointing that we couldn't see dolphins during the cruising, but it was still a pleasant experience.

足ひれは貸してくれないとの書き込みがあったので持参しました。私は使いませんでしたが、ライフジャケット代わりの浮き棒は頼りなさそうだったので、泳ぎに自身のない人はラッシュガード着たり浮き輪を持っていったほうが安心して楽しめると思います。
魚は黒いのしかいなかったので、熱帯魚のシュノーケリング
は期待できないです。
クルージングではイルカを見ることができなかったので残念でしたが、気持ちよかったです。

It would have been perfect if there was a plan that included relaxing on the beach, as walking on a beautiful beach was not part of the plan.

The most impressive part was when they sang Christmas songs live on the boat with a guitar. This was an unexpected service.

Additionally, the staff provided perfect service, so I think Japanese guests would be very satisfied.

My partner didn't swim because it was too cold, so having a self-service hot drink option during the cruise would have been better for those who were cold. Also, it would be nice if they could lend out knee blankets or half blankets.

In short, it was just cold, but I'm glad the cruise didn't get canceled due to bad weather.

The commentary was provided in Japanese by Japanese staff, so I recommend it for Japanese guests.

I regret not requesting the Christmas song "O Come" during the guitar performance; they were really good at singing.

相棒が寒すぎて泳がなかったので、クルーズ中はホットドリンクのセルフｻｰﾋﾞｽがあれば寒い人にはもっとよかったかな。
あと、ひざ掛けブランケットやハーフ毛布みたいなものが貸し出し可能であれば、うれしい。

要は、寒かっただけのことですが、悪天候中止にならなくてよかったです。

解説も日本人が日本語でしてくれるために、日本人にはオススメです。

ギター演奏でO～comeのクリスマスソングリクエストすればよかったのが唯一の心残りでしょうか？歌上手かった。

I was honestly nervous because I'm not a good swimmer, but when the dolphins appeared, all of that disappeared. I forgot my fear of the water and found myself swimming smoothly towards the dolphins, which surprised me.

Just hearing their voices is soothing, but having wild dolphins come close to me was truly moving.

Since we were in an area with dolphins, there were some waves, but I felt completely fine because we had a guide with us, and I could swim with a float between my arms. Plus, I got to hear fun stories about dolphins and the ocean, which made me very satisfied.

By chance, on the day I went, I saw three manta rays, and the weather was nice enough to see all the way to Maui, and even Mauna Kea. A miracle happened when a whale appeared, and I got to see its tail perfectly. The excitement on the boat was through the roof, and I was able to create unforgettable memories.

Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience.

泳ぎが苦手なので正直ドキドキしていたのですが
イルカが登場したらそんなことぶっ飛びました。
水が怖い事も忘れて、イルカの方へスイスイ泳いでいて
自分でもびっくり。

ただ声を聞くだけでも癒されるのにその上、
野生のイルカが傍に寄ってきてくれるなんて感動です。

イルカのいる海域なので多少波があるのですが
それでも傍にガイドさんもついていてくれるし
棒状の浮きを脇に挟んで泳げるので全然平気でした。
それに楽しいイルカや海の話も聞けて大満足でした。

たまたまなんですが私の行った日にはマンタも３枚見れ
天気が良かったのでマウイ島まで見れ、
マウナケアの頭まで見れるという奇跡が起き、
更にクジラが現れて、テールまでバッチリ見れました。
こんな幸せな状態に船の上のテンションは上がりまくりで
忘れられない思い出が作れました。

本当に楽しい思い出をありがとうございました。

It's a popular tour. You arrive at the port, which is about an hour away by bus from Waikiki. Everyone was Japanese... especially the older ladies, who were quite noisy and sat in other people's seats without asking, and used beach towels without permission, which was the worst.

Unfortunately, the weather was cloudy, so we couldn't see the beautiful ocean. The sandbar was shallow, about knee-deep, and there were no fish swimming around. While you can indeed see sea turtles, it's only from the boat.

At the snorkeling point, there are fish, but not many. It felt like there were few beautiful fish as well...

Overall, it was neither good nor bad, but considering the cost, it was a bit disappointing.

人気のツアーです。ワイキキからバスで一時間くらいで出港する港に到着します。全員が日本人でした・・・特におばさん達が五月蝿くて勝ってに人の席などに座ったり、バスタオルをかってに使ったり最悪でした。

それにあいにくの曇り空でキレイな海は見られませんでした。サンドバーは膝下くらいの浅瀬で何の魚も泳いでいません。確かにウミガメに会えますが船の上から眺めるだけです。

シュノーケリングポイントには、魚はいますが少ないですね。キレイな魚も少ない気がしました・・・

全体的にみると可も不可もありませんが、コストの割にはいまいちでした。

Every December, I go to a remote island to enjoy snorkeling trips, but the weather is often bad during this time. However, this time the weather was fantastic, and we were able to relax comfortably on the deck of the boat.

There were some rough waves, so one person got seasick and had to sit down, but since they are generally weak on boats, there's not much you can do about that. The snorkeling at Molokini Island has excellent water clarity, but... although I wasn't expecting much, I was still disappointed by the lack of coral and fish. Having experienced Okinawa, the Maldives, and Palau, I can't help but compare.

At the turtle spot, there were several turtles, and I even encountered one that was floating while mating. However, the visibility there wasn't great, and there were no fish at all. Our group was the only Japanese people there.

Our guide, Takako, was friendly and cheerful, which made our experience enjoyable and comfortable. My father, who couldn't go into the water, was also satisfied because the weather was nice.

毎年１２月には離島に行きシュノーケルトリップを楽しみますがこの時期は天候が悪いことも多いです。しかし今回はすっごく良いお天気で船のデッキで気持ち良くすごせました。
少し波が荒かったため１名だけ船酔いしダウンしましたがもともと船に弱いためこればっかりは仕方ないですね。
モロキニ島のシュノーケルは海の透明度は抜群ですが・・・期待していなかったもののやっぱり珊瑚や魚が少なく残念でした。沖縄やモルディブ・パラオを体験してるのでそれと比べてしまいます。カメがいるスポットには何匹もいて交尾しながら浮いてくるカメにも遭遇しました。ただここは透明度は良くありませんし全く魚はいません。
日本人は私達グループのみでした。
ガイドのタカコさんは気さくで天真爛漫。おかげでこちらも楽しく快適に過ごせました。
海に入れない父も天気が良かったので満足していました。

This was my first time rafting in the ocean, and I was looking forward to experiencing the differences from river rafting. Since it has an engine, it felt completely different, almost like flying over the sea. I think it's suitable for those who want to feel the thrill of speed. However, it might not be ideal for those who are prone to motion sickness.

While on the ride, and especially at the snorkeling points, the staff were very considerate, taking us to various spots where we could see not only small tropical fish but also larger fish like bonito and even dolphins. After snorkeling, they guided us back to the port while showing us various sightseeing spots from the sea, providing detailed explanations about the history and background, making it a tour that was worth more than the price.

One issue was that since it was November, it was a bit cold, and I wasn't used to being on the water, so I had a hard time holding it until we arrived at the port. The tour was planned for four hours, and although I used the restroom before boarding, it actually took about six hours, so I think it's better to limit drinks on board.

Aside from the restroom issue, it was a fantastic and enjoyable tour. Regarding language, I believe that anyone with a basic understanding of English will be able to understand, as the staff used simple language.

海のラフティングは初めてで、川との違いを楽しみに参加しました。
エンジンついてるから川とは全く違ってて、海を飛んでる状態。
スピード感を味わいたい人には向いてると思います。
乗り物酔いしやすい人には向かないかもです。
乗ってる間は勿論ですが、シュノーケルポイントではスタッフの方が気を使ってくれて小さな熱帯魚の見えるポイントでけでなく、大きなカツオなどが見れるポイント、イルカの見えるポイントなど色々場所を変え連れて行ってくれました。
シュノーケリング終了後は港へ帰る前に色々な観光スポットを海から案内してくださって、歴史やら生い立ちやらの詳しい説明をしてくれながら帰ってくれたので金額以上の体験ツアーになりました。
ただ一つの問題は、１１月だったのでちょっと寒かったのもありますが、水の上に慣れていないので途中からトイレに行きたくて港に到着するまで我慢するのが大変でした。
４時間の予定でしたので、乗船する前にトイレには行ったのですが、実際かかった時間は６時間程かかりましたので船上での飲み物は控えめにされたほうがいいかと思います。
トイレさえ除けば全く問題なく、そしてとても楽しめるツアーでした。
言葉の問題ですが、ある程度のヒアリングができる人なら簡単な英語ですので理解できると思います。

Unfortunately, I was not satisfied with this tour. Even though they said we would see sea turtles, we only saw a turtle briefly poke its head out from the boat, so we couldn't take any photos. The cruise was just a short trip around the bay. The meals were simple. The staff also left an impression of being rough around the edges. I thought $60 was too expensive for this experience.

I participated with my mother and sister. Since it was their first time in Hawaii, I thought my sister would want to go snorkeling and my mother would enjoy the beautiful scenery, so we joined this tour. We were picked up at the Ambassador Hotel and transferred to a large bus at the Sheraton Hotel to set off! The bus was freezing cold, and my sister, who was wearing short sleeves, was feeling chilly. We arrived at the port on time. The waves were calm, and thankfully, there was no seasickness, thanks to the fun staff, and we quickly reached the turtle watching point! We saw sea turtles, but just for a moment! Their heads popped up briefly. We saw a few, but I think it would be difficult to take pictures. My mother, who expected to see the turtles up close, was a bit disappointed. Next, we went to the sandbar! We had 40 minutes there. First, we took photos! It felt very free, as everyone could do their own thing. The staff took pictures, so couples and groups could get photos together. 母と姉と3人で参加しました。母と姉は初のハワイだったのでシュノーケルがしたい姉、母には綺麗な景色を見てもらいたいと思いこちらに参加しました。アンバサダーホテルでピックアップしてもらい、シェラトンホテルで大型バスに乗り換えて出発！バスは冷房ガンガンで半袖の姉は寒がってました(^^;時間通りに港に到着。波も穏やかで心配していた船酔いもなく、楽しいスタッフのおかげであっという間にタートルウォチングポイントへ!!ウミガメは見れたけど…一瞬！顔がピョコっと出る程度。何匹かみれたけど写真に撮るのは難しいと思います(-_-;)ウミガメがガッツリ見れると思っていた母はちょっと残念がってました(^-^;次にサンドバーへ!!滞在時間は40分。まず写真撮影～♪おのおので自由にという感じです。スタッフが撮ってくれるのでカップルやグループでもみんなで写った写真が撮れます。洋服を着ていこうと思いましたが、水が腰ぐらいまであったので水着で行きました。海のど真ん中に立てるっていうのはとにかく神秘的！次にシュノーケル。海流を乱さないためにロープに沿って泳ぎます。初めての方は救命着を着た方がいいと思います。呼吸の仕方などは説明のみで実際に練習はなしです。姉は「二度目だから～♪」と調子に乗って上手く呼吸ができず溺れかけていました。これに母と私は爆笑！シュノーケルは本当に気持ちよくて、小さな魚がいっぱい見れました。楽しかったのでもっとしたかったです。帰りの船でサンドウィッチと暖かい紅茶でお腹を満たし、ユキコさんの話で爆笑し、港に到着。バスでは早起き&泳いだ疲れか爆睡でした。時間通り午前中のうちに終わるツアーで時間を有意義に使えるツアーで本当に良かったです。ただ、ほんっっとに新婚カップルばっかりでした(^_^;)シュノーケルをたくさんしたい方は1日ツアーの方がいいかもしれません。帰りのバスの運転手はまぢのネイティブで発音がめっちゃ良い英語&なぜかハイテンション!これにまた爆笑！帰りのバスは降りる所が挙手制で、シェラトンはちゃんと停まると思いますが、アンバサダーは危うく乗り過ごすところでした。なにせ発音がめっちゃ良いので(笑)帰りは濡れたままバスに乗るので、長袖の羽織りとバスタオルは持参した方がいいと思います。こちらのツアーは段取りもよく有意義な時間を過ごせ、本当に楽しかったです。いい思い出になりました。ワイ

Sandbar is a place I always wanted to visit. I was aware that the height of the water varies depending on the season and time. When I actually went, the water was about knee to waist deep. Even so, it was incredibly beautiful and felt great.

The staff were kind, and I had a lot of fun. The burgers were delicious too.

Playing beach volleyball while being submerged up to my waist was quite tough, but I was able to enjoy playing with other guests I met for the first time.

Also, if you're going during this season (winter), it can get cold when the wind blows over the water, so it's definitely a good idea to bring clothes to wear over your swimsuit and a large beach towel.

I saw so many beautiful things on the dolphin tour. I was a bit scared because I can't swim, but thanks to Daisuke's help, I was really happy to see swimming dolphins and hear their mysterious voices. I was able to see a whale, which I thought I wouldn't be able to see, and it still feels like a dream.

I feel sorry for the dolphins in aquariums because they often have to adapt to humans, but the wild dolphins are so free and it's wonderful. Daisuke's figure diving deep into the ocean and swimming with the dolphins was very beautiful, and I thought it would be nice if I could swim like that too.

The dolphin tour became the best memory of this trip.

イルカのツアーでも、たくさん綺麗なものを見せていただきました。
私は泳げなくて少し怖かったのですが、大輔さんに助けていただいたお陰で、
泳ぐイルカを見たり、イルカの不思議な声を聞く事ができて本当に幸せでした。
見られないだろうなと思っていたクジラも見る事ができて、今でも夢みたいです。

水族館のイルカは人間に合わせることが多くて、かわいそうに思うのですが、
野生のイルカは伸び伸びしていて良いですね。
海の中を深く潜って、イルカと一緒に泳ぐ大輔さんの姿がとても綺麗で、
私もあんな風に泳げたらいいなぁと思いました。

イルカのツアーは、この旅行で一番の思い出になりました。

I participated with my husband on November 22.

It was our first time snorkeling, and I wasn't confident in my swimming skills. Everyone around us was young (my husband is over 60).

When we got on the boat, I had a bit of regret, but once we got into the water, there were so many dolphins. The instructor, Daisuke, pulled us close to them, and I quickly got used to being in the water.

I felt like a child again, and we had a wonderful time with the dolphins, squealing with joy.

Regardless of age, I encourage everyone to join in!

１１月２２日に夫婦で参加しました。

初めてのシュノーケリング。泳ぎに自信なし。
周りは若い人ばかり。(主人は６０歳過ぎ）

船に乗った時は、ちょっと後悔しましたが、
海に入ったらイルカがいっぱいで
インストラクターの大輔君が近くまで
引っ張って行ってくれ、海の中にもすぐに慣れました。

I participated because I wanted to see the sandbar with my own eyes. What I had imagined was being able to walk on the sandbar. However, there was water up to my knees, which was a bit disappointing. (The sandbars you often see are really only visible on limited days, right...?) However, the staff were very enjoyable, and the content was fulfilling, so I was very satisfied.

私が想像してたのは、サンドバーの上を歩けることでした。
