Due to the tides, we were submerged on the sandy beach. We encountered quite a few turtles, which was great, but the water clarity in Hawaii (Honolulu) wasn't very good, so that was disappointing.

We were entertained by discovering sea turtles and seeing heart-shaped corals even before we arrived at the sandbar. During snorkeling, we were able to see sea turtles right in front of us, and our family was thrilled. There were staff members who spoke Japanese, which was reassuring, and everyone was very kind, making it a fun experience. I recommend it to anyone considering snorkeling.

As the name "Angel's Sea" suggests, the ocean is truly beautiful. The staff on the boat taught us about turtles and sea turtles, and they grilled hamburgers for us to enjoy on board, which was a unique experience that we don't usually get to have. It was so much fun!

I participated in an English-only tour because the Japanese-speaking reservations were fully booked. The experience itself was impressive, as there are many similar tours in the area, and manta rays regularly approached us. The staff was also very accommodating. However, the time spent floating in the sea was quite long, and it can be tough if you don't have the stamina to hold onto the float. My wife had to retire midway. There were no unnecessary services, so it was relatively inexpensive, and it might be a good option for those looking for this kind of experience.

体験自体は周辺にたくさんの同じようなツアーがあるため、マンタが定期的に近づいてきますので迫力がありました。スタッフも対応が良かったです。

Since I stayed at Waikoloa Village, I decided to book Dolphin Quest. The prices were high due to the weak yen, but I thought the experience for my child was priceless, so I made the reservation. The group was divided into two, with one team that understood English and another that did not. The team that didn't understand English had four Japanese and one Indian. Later, you can purchase photos for download.

Don’t mistake their wry humour for un professionalism. Saw them take another’s concerns with slightly damaged gear seriously. Would’ve liked a more guided experience on the water where to best see stuff but for the cost, I can’t blame em. A dolphin pod swam up to the boat on the way back and they stopped to let us experience it.

I visited Hanauma Bay for the first time in 30 years. We arrived in an 8-passenger van before the parking lot opened, but there were quite a few cars lined up. Thanks to our guide departing early based on the previous day's situation, we were able to enter quite smoothly. It seems that tour guests can enter preferentially. Before descending to Hanauma Bay, we watched a video and received explanations, which took about 30 minutes. We descended about 30 meters down a steep slope in a large buggy that holds around 15 people. In the past, there were many fish near the shore because people fed them, but now there aren't as many. Following our guide, we were shown the areas where the fish are, from the left side of the bay to the right. Along the way, we were able to see a turtle. Additionally, we spotted a whale spouting outside the bay.

ハナウマ湾までは、30mぐらいの急な坂を15人乗りぐらいの大型バギーで降ります
以前は、餌を与えていたため、波打ち際まで多くの魚がいましたが、今は余りいません
ガイドさんに従って、湾の左側から右側まで、魚がいるところを案内してくれます
途中でカメを観ることができました
また、湾の外にクジラの潮吹きが見られました

Kaneohe Bay was an unforgettable day on the water! The crew was welcoming and friendly, the music set the perfect vibe, and there were plenty of fun water activities to enjoy. We had a blast at the sandbar! The boat ride there was fantastic with great music and a fun crew. Once there we got to hop on the Banana Boat w/ Captain Calvin and he really made sure we were comfortable with the speed (thumbs up for faster, shaka for same speed, and thumbs down to slow it up). In addition to that helped setup a ride back to the shuttle spot since my aunt had trouble walking that far. The staff there are the best!
We got lucky and went by some sea turtles while out there on the banana boat. They swam right beneath us!
There was also live music on the boat and it was sooo good. Great songs, great musicians and singers. Wow!
We also got to kayak around and tried the stand-up paddle board for the first time. It was amazing to be out in the ocean surrounded by the beauty of the water and green mountains. It's truly magical, and I hope it stays that way forever. We should all respect it and guard it.
This should be a "must do" when traveling to Oahu!
Definitely recommend getting on the Banana Boats + Raft! It's worth it!

It was truly lucky to see not only dolphins and turtles but also the humpback whales that are unique to Hawaii during this season!
