I think snorkeling is a waste of time, so it's not necessary. I read in a review that "the bus is cold," so I brought extra towels, but it was still cold. Doesn't the company see reviews like this? I was extremely excited to see the manta rays coming up from the seabed to the surface. I had been told not to touch the manta rays, but they came so close that I found myself twisting my body to avoid touching them. The boat was rocking quite a bit, so I was glad I took motion sickness medication. The sunset on the way to the spot was incredibly beautiful. Also, the night sky was stunning on the return trip. I think it could be called a Manta & Sunset & Night View Tour!

My first catamaran experience. I was a bit nervous because I didn't understand all the instructions in English, but the staff were all lively and the atmosphere was very pleasant.

We encountered a pod of dolphins right after setting sail! Everyone was super excited! After a while, we went snorkeling offshore. With the current, I panicked a bit since I can't swim, but the staff came right away and helped me back to the boat. She was a woman, but very reliable!

After that, we spotted 2 or 3 sea turtles lingering nearby, and everyone was excited again! The rest of the voyage was stable, and we enjoyed the views of Diamond Head and Waikiki from the sea. It was a really fun time.

It can be surprisingly tiring, so I recommend the morning package.

Captain Steve was hilarious and Michael was a great assistant captain. Both Steve and Michael were entertaining and very knowledgeable about the southern part of the island of Hawaii. We saw dolphins, tons of colorful fish snorkeling, traveled to look inside sea cave and had more food than we needed! It was a truly amazing day on the ocean with Sea Quest!

It takes about 50 minutes by bus from Waikiki, and since it takes time to get on the boat, make sure to use the restroom during that time. However, there are only two restrooms, so you should head there immediately after getting off the bus.

Once you're finally on the boat, it takes about 10 minutes to reach the sandbar. Sea turtles and pufferfish come close to you. The water can be quite cold, so you'll need a dry jacket after getting out. Most hotels provide beach towels in addition to bath towels, so it's a good idea to bring one. The lunch was delicious. Military fans will also enjoy watching fighter jets flying overhead.

We were taken care of as a family of four, including my younger sister and my fifth-grade daughter. As for the dolphins, I can't say we swam with them, but we did see them. During the snorkeling afterward, I was able to see a baby sea turtle coming up for air at the surface. On the way back, many dolphins came around the boat, so we were able to do some dolphin watching.

Not sure how I would manage this new activity, I met a very encouraging and knowledgeable instructor who gave just the right amount of information to set me free with snorkel gear and tank in tow. I never looked back (or up). 60 minutes under water watching beautiful fish and sea creatures. My instructor nearby in case I should panic or need help (not the case), and then playing show and tell with us. Just a true joy and a great vacation memory. Thank you Kevin!
