I was a little hesitant when I initially booked this, just because of the price. But, WOW I was wrong. Such a great experience, the boys on the boat were great to work with and knowledgeable. Drinks were great and just what you want after swimming in the ocean. Would 100% recommend. Thanks for a great time!

This might have been the highlight of my trip. I don't normally like tourist excursions, but this is something I'd be willing to shell money out for. The staff was so nice, welcoming, and caring. The live entertainment was amazing. I hope they're available to do weddings, because they were really talented. It was such an unexpected cherry on top. I loved the diversity of activities available as opposed to having to kayak out to the sandbar, because then you're limited to just one activity. The food wasn't anything to write home about, but the pre-cut pineapple slices were juicy, delicious, and a great snack to have. Anyway, my friends and I have already decided we would probably book again in the future. The sandbar itself is beautiful out there, but going out on a boat makes it a lot more fun. Unsure about the snorkeling aspect b/c would prefer to do that activity elsewhere, so not sure if anyone saw anything.

What a great experience! Our group had two people in their thirties and two in their sixties and everyone had a blast. We saw so many turtles, a few schools of fish and some other unique fish around. Great tour for those wanting to try snorkeling. The staff was amazing too! Although we didn't have kids in our group, the staff was interacting great with those family groups aboard with us.

Perfect trips for a group of first timers.

Living ocean tours is a great family business that created a great experience for our group of first time snorkelers. The 5 person crew was friendly, knowledgeable and helped us have a fun and safe trip on the water. We were able to see multiple turtles including one that came up about 10 feet away from us. Also, plenty of fish to see in between turtle sightings. Plus we got to see a pod of dolphins when we first arrived at the reef.

All that was promised was not fulfilled on this snorkel tour. The staff was nice. I got a little sea sick and they took care of me. But the experience was nothing like what they promised. It was a party boat not a snorkel tour. I would not recommend to any families.

BEST EXPERIENCE EVER

This experience was amazing.The pick up location was super easy to find. Staff were so funny and friendly. We got out in the water and the staff swam with us to lead us to the turtles. We saw so many sea turtles. I definitely recommend doing this at least once in your lifetime.I'd love to do this again on my next trip to Oahu!

Outstanding experience and amazing views from the Sandbar! Worth the kayaking effort

We did the morning 8am half day tour. It was around a mile long kayaking route but felt very easy with the mesmerizing views. We also saw some turtles, sea cucumbers on the way to the Sandbar. It was a bit windy but the ocean was calm and there were no large waves. Hands down best place for Kayaking with rewarding views and also nice place to snorkel around the reefs!

This was a fantastic experience! Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable crew. I appreciated the brief snorkel lesson and tips. We were able to see turtles, a variety of fish, and during the sailing portion dolphins and whales. Overall great experience with no complaints! Discover Lanai Day Trip from Maui, Hulopoe Bay Snorkeling & Sweetheart Rock

Having been on snorkel tours to Molokini previously, we were happy to find this tour to Lanai for something different.
From the minute we stepped on the boat, we had a great time - the crew was great, the food was great, and we really liked being able to dock on Lanai and snorkel from the beach. We took part in the SNUBA activity and then hiked afterwards. It was great to have the lawn chairs, sun mats, sunscreen, and snorkel gear readily available as well.
The lunch provided at Trilogy's dock-side pavilion was fresh-cooked and delicious.
Our trip back to Maui was great with lots of whales sightings and we were able to stop periodically to watch them. We bought the photo package offered and whale photos were part of the package.
We would definitely recommend this snorkel tour!

Oh what a day! We saw whales up close and dancing dolphins! Captain stopped for the whales and took their time. Napali coast was gorgeous. The sunset was a real beauty that evening as well.

Kayaking Kaneohe Bay and snorkeling along the various reefs was one of our favorite things from our stay on Oahu. Staff was friendly, patient, and helpful. Gave us some good tips of where to go and what to see in the bay. We would definitely do this again.

This was an especially fun day with the crew we were assigned. They encouraged us to play volleyball at the sandbar which was super fun even though I was one of the weak links and a reluctant player. I am so glad they promoted this activity and included everyone who was willing to join in.
We saw so many turtles of all sizes from small to very large. They were up close and amazing. This was one of the highlights of our entire trip to Hawaii. We also snorkeled at one of the reefs. Although the snorkeling wasn't the best, we found that was true at all our attempts at snorkeling on Oahu on this trip. We did see some schools of fish and it was fun getting into the water and searching.
The food was great and the people and crew made the whole day special and memorable. I will do this tour again if I ever return to Oahu! I highly recommend this tour.

We had attempted two times previously 9 years ago to see the Mantas and were unsuccessful. We warned our group this time that we may be bad luck. Our experience was over the top, well over 10 Mantas and Justin and Connor were great at sharing their knowledge of these fascinating creatures. We would definitely recommend to anyone wondering about this novel opportunity.

You may find a lot of tour to the sandbar but none compares to these guys. They are fun, customer-oriented, careful and outgoing, all at the same time. You are taken care of right from the moment you checkin with them at the harbour till they drop you back. They have plenty of lifeguards, people helping you in the water, teaching you kayaking/paddle boating/snorkelling/banana boating etc.
BONUS: great donuts and live music. A MUST DO IN OAHU.

Had such a great time. Staffs were all friendly and made it safe. Staffs made sure nobody venture too far or away from sandbar. I felt safe for a non swimmer doing the water activities. Music was great as well.

This is as honestly the highlight of my trip. It was definitely worth waking up at 4am to travel from north shore to south shore. It was so organized and straight to the point which I loved. The whole crew was amazing and kind, always making sure passengers were okay and comfortable. It’s funny because I’m sure the crew has seen the views a million times, yet they still make it enjoyable and share such an insightful information about Kaua’i. MOST AMAZING BOAT CREW EVER

This was by far the most amazing boat ever! The vibes were everything! Everything was clean and the sandwiches were tasty. I loved the entertainment and the water activities. This was by far the chillest crew ever. No one felt rushed because all the activities are in one spot. I highly recommend doing the bumper or banana boat activity! I’m already planning to book for when my fiancée comes in town!

Sandbar Excursion

My boyfriend and I did this excursion on a Thursday morning. There were less than 10 people on the excursion. It was very intimate and all of the staff were outstanding. We snorkeled, canoed, stand up paddle boarded, and soaked up the sun. It was a great experience and the highlight of our trip. The sandbar was stunning and we also saw a turtle while snorkeling.

We had a great trip! We had non stop manta ray action! Apparently we were very lucky. I left my phone on the boat because the current was a little rough. It was an awesome experience, would do again!! They were literally belly to belly with me. It was a really cool experience!

It was awesome! As soon as we got in the water we had Manta rays doing barrel rolls around us. Captain Kai, Justin and Jaz made the experience alot of fun. They know their Manta rays. Great sailing trip to Lanai!

Really enjoyed the day sailing to Lanai from Maui with Captain Turtle! The captain and his crew made it fun and a day of adventure. We did the Snuba when we got to Lanai and Shamus did a great job working with everyone and keeping things safe. Courtney, Shamus and Clay were great on the boat keeping us entertained and personally served everyone.
We saw whales, flying fish and some whitecaps which made for an adventurous trip back.
