The location was about a 10-minute walk from the Hilton Hawaiian Village, so we were able to get there easily. The start time was 9:15, but due to equipment troubles, it was postponed to 11:00. However, since the hotel was nearby, we spent some time by the poolside before heading to the ticket booth. (I was planning to take it easy that day, so it was nice to have the extra time.) A staff member who spoke Japanese offered us four bottles of mineral water and a $30 photo package as an apology. I felt a bit lucky about that. There were 11 people in total, including us, with two crew members and the captain. A family with an elementary school child was first, followed by a newlywed couple, then two nephews, us as the fourth couple, and two women as the fifth. It wrapped up in about two hours, but since the boat was small, it rocked quite a bit, and some people felt seasick. (I think it took about 10 minutes for each group to get ready.) I recommend not having breakfast and taking motion sickness medication beforehand. (We were well-prepared and enjoyed parasailing.)

Lastly, don’t forget to tip! The standard is about 15% to 20% of the total cost. By the way, we gave $55 for four people.

で終わりましたが、ボートが小型の為、結構揺れますので酔われている方も
いらっしゃいました。（1組準備含め10分くらいだったと思います。）
朝食は、とらずに酔い止めの薬を飲んで臨むことをお勧めします。
（私たちは、準備万端でパラセイリングを楽しめました。）
最後に、チップを忘れずに！代金の15％～20％くらいが相場です。
ちなみに4人で＄55渡しました。

高度は最高の150ｍがお勧めです。

I was relieved that the pickup would come right to the hotel, but it didn't arrive on time, and we ended up waiting for about 30 minutes before it finally came. It was my first time parasailing. I was a bit anxious on the day of the reservation because I had read that some people felt nauseous or that things didn't go on time, but we were picked up right on schedule at 8 AM, and the weather was great. We enjoyed the boat ride to the spot without feeling sick at all (it felt like we arrived quickly while getting the instructions and putting on the gear).

With a veteran captain and a fun, handsome guy named Mark, we paid $30 to have about 140 photos taken. The parasailing was expertly handled, and when we came down, it was a gentle drop, making a soft splash without getting our faces wet, which was fantastic!

The pickup at 1:15 PM for the 2 PM start was slightly delayed, but they arrived at the designated location. After showing the voucher to a female staff member for confirmation, we boarded a van that could hold about ten people and set off. Upon arriving at the port, we received an explanation that we could also catch our return ride from there (we participated as a group of five, but none of us understood much English). I communicated in broken English that we didn't need a ride back since we wanted to shop at a nearby Patagonia after parasailing, and I handed her a tip (about $5 for the five of us). She kindly suggested that she would take us back after we were done. I think she was a nice person. By the way, the woman who handled the transportation didn't speak Japanese, but the male owner of the shop, whose identity is unclear, was very good at Japanese, and the check-in process went smoothly!

The parasailing was incredibly fun and enjoyable, especially with the good weather! The rope was 150 meters long, and I think the higher you go, the better it feels. パラセーリングは天気も良く言うまでもなく最高に楽しいし、気持ちいい！150mのロープ？でしたが高いほうがより気持ちいいと思います。港に着くとウミガメが近くで泳いでいるのが見えて嬉しかったです。チップも多くはありませんが渡すと喜んでもらえました。
結局参加者の一人が船酔いで気分悪くなってしまったため帰りのワゴン車には乗らなかったけど近くなので全然問題なし。参加して良かったと思います！

I took my son, daughter, and my son's two friends on this cruise for my son's birthday and they had a blast! The crew got them sized for their snorkels and fins and they had so much fun swimming with all the fish in the clear water! The kids loved jumping on the inflatable trampoline, going down the slide, and especially loved jumping off the top deck of the boat! They raced each other on kayaks and the stand up paddle boards and had tons of fun. The crew were very accommodating and friendly! They even had snacks and drinks for everyone, which the kids devoured. My kids and my son's friends had a memorable day in the water and I got some great pictures to remember his birthday!

I requested lessons for my 8-year-old son and 10-year-old daughter. I thought they wouldn't understand English, but they actually communicated quite well! In fact, they really tried hard! As a result, the kids came back loving their instructor!

Of course, they were able to ride the waves from the very first try. (I wonder if it's because kids don't have a fear of it?) After riding the waves, they had to paddle back out on their own, but perhaps because they were kids or because it was a private lesson, the instructor came to meet them in the shallow water, helped them with their feet, and paddled them back out, which made it super easy for them. The paddling can be tough...

If your kids want to try it, it's definitely an activity worth letting them do!

By the way, after doing various activities like swimming with dolphins, sharks, and at Wet 'n' Wild, when I asked them what they wanted to do again, both of them immediately said surfing, so we did it again on the last day!

パドルがきついので・・。

もし　子どもがやりたがったら　やらせるべき　アクティビティです！

ちなみに　イルカ、サメ、天国の海、ウェット＆ワイルドなど　いろんなアクティビティをやって　何をもう1回やりたい？って聞いたら
2人とも迷わずサーフィンだったので　最終日に　おかわりしました！

It was our first time surfing, and the kids took private lessons while my husband and I opted for semi-private lessons.

Since it was semi-private, there was one instructor for two people, and it was definitely the right choice!

Everyone was able to ride the waves, but the number of rides was different! I recommend the semi-private option because in a mixed group, there are several people. The instructors choose good waves and help push you, so the support is really great.

I truly believe that anyone from children to the elderly can stand on the board here.

Also, you can buy photos later. They also have videos, and they take them very well, so I highly recommend it!

I took a lesson for two hours starting at 3 PM.

I was a bit anxious because I'm not good at English, but the staff member, who has a Japanese wife, was fluent in Japanese, so the pre-lesson explanation in the office was completely fine.

Once we moved to the beach, the stretching and orientation were explained only in English, but I was able to understand it somewhat through gestures.

GREAT activity for families w/ kids of different ages!

This was SUCH a fun experience for my kids and their friends (ages 7 - 12). They got to do all five activities and didn't have any wait at all for 4 (there was a short wait for the stand-up paddle, but because there were four other things for them to have fun doing, they didn't notice at all). The crew was fabulous. They let the kids jump off the boat from different parts and had great snacks that the kids gobbled up. We asked them what they liked the best and they said they loved all the activities.
The stand-up paddling was probably the biggest hit. The snorkel and kayak and jumping off the boat (extra LOL) was next. Slide and trampoline after that. Since they're smaller/lighter, it was harder for them to jump on the trampoline -- adults will be able to make it bounce more. But yes, over all, AMAZING experience. Just a reminder that the harbor is paid parking so make sure to be ready for that. Hope you all enjoy it like we did! :)

I participated with a friend. Our group included four pairs (two from Japan and two from overseas), totaling 12 participants. The person in charge of us did not speak Japanese, and we were only given a notice written in Japanese, but as long as you read it properly, there are no issues (it includes precautions for parasailing and landing methods).

The parasailing lasted about 5 to 10 minutes each time, and I was very satisfied! Right in front of us was Diamond Head, and below was the deep blue sea; it felt like we were gracefully flying alongside airplanes. At first, the height was surprising, but it wasn't scary at all, and it felt quite relaxing. However! The real activity felt like it was on the boat, as it rocked quite a bit! The life jackets are only worn during parasailing, so if you're not holding onto the railing, you might seriously feel like you're going to be thrown off. The women in our group screamed! There were four groups including us, and everyone except us was from abroad, but the atmosphere on the boat was really nice! There were two foreign staff members who spoke only basic Japanese, giving instructions and asking if we were having fun, but they were very cheerful! I didn't get seasick, but if you're worried about seasickness, it might be a good idea to bring some motion sickness medication!

Parasailing was a bit scary, but it felt amazing, and it was so much fun to see everything from up high!!! They checked with us about taking photos when it was our turn, and they were also filming with a GoPro. I saw that the group before me had some great shots, so I decided to purchase the photos they took of us! This also became a wonderful memory!

I'm really glad we chose to go up to 150 meters! If I come back to Hawaii, I definitely want to go parasailing again!

I didn't think I would get seasick, but since all the participants cruise until the end, I recommend taking motion sickness medication if you have any concerns. A little while ago, I told the crew, and they moved me to a spot where I wouldn't get sick, and I managed to hold on just fine. The sky above was clear and it was truly pleasant! The staff were also enjoyable, and I was very satisfied; my daughter said she had more fun than with dolphin watching or shrimp fishing!

This is why people come to Hawaii for a vacation and adventure. Today we had an awesome time from start to finish. Both Laura and T. from Ohio ( forgive not knowing how to spell his name) were absolutely the best. Very easygoing, sociable, and very informative about the excursion, the ecosystem and all it encompasses. We could see the passion they both have for the environment. They worked well as a team, always putting safety first.
As for the the actual excursion... Pickup was on time, the briefing was short but thorough. And off we went. We were towed out to a point (to save time) then we were cut loose to follow our leader out to our destination. Once there, they reviewed the do's and don'ts regarding the ecosystem and its inhabitants. We snorkeled for over an hour while our guides educated us about all the different things we were seeing. Once done we kayaked back the the shore, rinsed off and sat down for an impressive lunch. (thanks to the cook) YUMMY
Sad to say it was over... highly recommend this tour, company and crew!!!

Our adventure parasailing was amazing! Our 2 captains made us feel safe and comfortable, considering the fact that everyone in my family is afraid of heights!

It was my first time kayaking, but the boarding instructions were explained carefully in Japanese, and although the main guide was a foreigner, there was a Japanese support staff present, which made me feel safe and allowed me to enjoy the experience. The kayak was a two-person one, and the person sitting in the back becomes the leader, so they might have to paddle more often. It felt great to glide over the sea while feeling the wind. The snorkeling was also delightful, as I found the fish swimming around to be quite cute.

I was a bit anxious about having a guide in English, but they demonstrated everything from how to paddle the kayak to how to get in and out. They communicated with gestures, so I hardly had to use English at all.

From the meeting point at the port, we paddled the kayak for about an hour until we reached the snorkeling point, where we had a light snack (like crackers). After enjoying snorkeling for about 40 minutes, we paddled back to the port. It was a lot of fun.

One challenge was finding the meeting place, but in the end, it was at the port in front of the public restroom (the place to launch the kayak).

After the video lesson, we practiced on the sandy beach. Since it was a longboard suitable for beginners, almost all the women, including myself, were able to ride it right away! The guide was also cheerful! I was a bit disappointed that we couldn't get any photos taken.
