It was drizzling at first, but later it cleared up and the scenery was amazing. Since it was an English guide, I couldn't really understand what was being said, but the horses were smart, so I managed to get by by watching them. Thank you very much.

最初霧雨だったけど、後から晴れて景色も最高でした。英語ガイドなので、ほぼ何を言っているのかわからないけど、馬が賢いので見よう見まねで何とかなりました。ありがとうございました。

Last time, I couldn't see the Milky Way at the summit of Mauna Kea during the full moon, so I went for a revenge trip. This time, I enjoyed a stargazing tour from the summit at sunset before the moon rose, and I was able to fully appreciate the Milky Way.

前回満月のマウナケア山頂で天の川が見えなかったので、リベンジしました。
今回は、まだ月が出ない状態での山頂サンセットからの星空ツアーとなり、天の川を堪能できました。

No one spoke English, but the local coordinator was very kind, interesting, and made it enjoyable for us.

英語が誰ひとり、できませんでしたが、現地のコーディネーターの人が大変、優しく、おもしろく、接していただき楽しめる事ができました

I am at fault for being late, but I was delayed in checking in due to traffic conditions, and it seems my reasons were not accepted, so the fee of 150,000 yen will not be refunded. I thought at least I could change the time, but that was also not allowed. I feel so sorry for the children; it was the worst.

時間に遅れた私が悪いのですが、交通事情でチェックインに遅れ、理由を聞き入れてもらえず、代金15万円は返却されないようです。せめて時間変更をと思いましたが時間変更も駄目ということ、子供達が可哀想で可哀想で､､､最悪でした。

Right after jumping, my first impression was "It's cold!" But immediately after, I was shouting "Amazing! This is crazy, crazy!!" I want to experience it not just once, but two or three times.

飛んだ直後は「寒い！」と言うのが感想　でも直ぐに「最高！」「ヤバい、ヤバい！！」と叫んでました。
一度と言わずに二度、三度と体験したいです。

I took advantage of the pick-up service to Waikiki. In the morning, a cheerful older man came to pick me up in a van. All 11 of us boarded the 11-seater, and it took a little over an hour to reach the North Shore.

Upon arrival, I logged in using a touch panel. Everything was in English, but I managed to do it in about five minutes with Google Lens for translation. Then, I went to the register to pay a fuel surcharge of $15 and chose a photo package to complete the process.

I was expecting some safety instructions before the jump, but the instructor helped me put on the gear and briefly said in broken Japanese where to place my hands just before jumping, to "arch my back" while in the air, and to lift my legs upon landing. It was a bit confusing, and I felt a little discomfort when the gear accidentally hit my ear during removal, but I couldn't express it well. Other than that, it was fantastic.

After that, I boarded the plane, jumped, arched my back, lifted my legs, and landed. I received a souvenir at the end. At that time, I was given a bag for tips, which I placed in the box.

On the way back, I rode with the same group. It was a bit scary to eat a sandwich while using my smartphone and driving on the highway, but I made it back safely.

ワイキキへ迎えに来てくれるとのことでそれを利用しました。
朝、元気のいいおじさんがバンで迎えに来てくれました。
11人乗りに11人乗り込んで1時間強くらいでノースショアの現地につきました。

現地に着くとタッチパネルでログイン。
全部英語なのでgoogleレンズで翻訳しながら5分でできました。
そうしたらレジに行き燃料サーチャージ15ドル？を支払い。写真を撮るコースを選び完了。

飛ぶ前に何かしら注意事項があるのかと思っていましたが、インストラクターが器具を装着してくれながら、飛ぶ寸前は手はここ、飛んだら「エビゾリ」、着地は足上げてと片言の日本語で言われて終わりです。
着地して器具を外す時にたまたま耳に金具が当たり痛かったですが伝え方が分からずそこだけがモヤりましたが、あとは最高です。

あとは、飛行機に乗り込んでジャンプしてエビゾリして足上げて着地して終わりです。
記念品をもらいます。その時チップを入れる袋をもらいます。チップを入れて箱に入れます。

帰りの車も同じメンバーで乗って帰ります。
スマホいじりながらサンドイッチを食べながら高速道路を運転するのは少し怖かったですが無事帰りました。

We loved our Raptor trip at Kualoa Ranch. The property is beautiful with so many great stories, and the tour guides were great. We highly recommend!

Mauna Kea is higher than Mount Fuji, and since I have never climbed any mountain, let alone Fuji, I was a bit worried about possibly getting altitude sickness even before reaching the summit. Along the way, the guide kindly provided detailed information on how to prevent altitude sickness, and by following that advice, I was able to enjoy my time at the summit. The guide's stories were interesting, and the sunset view from the top of Mauna Kea was breathtaking. I also visited Oahu, but the summit of Mauna Kea was the best experience.

マウナケアは富士山よりも高く、富士山おろか山にも登ったことがないので、もしかしたら高山病になるんじゃないかと山頂に到着する前からびびっていました。途中に高山病を防ぐための注意事項をガイドさんが丁寧に教えてくれてそれを徹底することで山頂でも元気に過ごせました。ガイドさんのお話も面白く、マウナケアの山頂から見えるサンセットの景色も感動しました。オアフ島も艦娘しましたが、マウナケア山頂が一番よかったです。

There are convenient bus transfers from several major hotels in Waikiki. On the day of the trip, I was worried because the bus arrived about 10 minutes late due to a traffic jam, but I was able to board safely.

It takes about an hour by car from Waikiki to Mokuleia. During the ride, the driver gave a brief explanation in English (I couldn't catch much due to my own English skills, but it was no problem). The driver was a cheerful person who even started singing alone, which felt very American, haha.

For skydiving, after checking in, you take off following a brief lecture. You can enjoy beautiful views of the ocean and mountains, so I highly recommend it. This time, I jumped from 1,400 feet, but I would like to try 1,800 feet someday. You can also purchase videos and photos.

ワイキキ内のいくつかの主要ホテルからバス送迎があるので便利です。当日はtraffic jamでバスの到着が10分ほど遅れ心配しましたが、無事に乗れました。

ワイキキからモクレイアまで、車で約1時間ほど。車内でドライバーさんから簡単な説明を英語で受けました(自身の英語力の問題であまり聞き取れなかったですが、問題なしです)。ドライバーさんは愉快な方で、1人で歌を歌い始めたりしてアメリカンでした笑。

スカイダイビングは、受付後、簡単なレクチャーのあと飛び立ちます。綺麗な海と山々の景色を堪能できるのでとてもおすすめです。今回は1,400フィードで飛びましたが、いつか1,800フィートも試してみたい。動画や写真も買うことができます。

I have been staying in Honolulu for three consecutive years. I am spending a week here on a refreshing vacation, enjoying the cooler and more comfortable weather compared to Japan.

It has been my dream to become a pilot, and I try to experience as much flying as possible during my travels abroad. Taking off from Honolulu Airport, we headed towards the east coast via Diamond Head. The beautiful coastline took my breath away. The detailed explanations made the landing come quickly. Thank you to the driver for being so courteous from start to finish.

Finally, I have decided to start keeping a logbook. I definitely want to stop by again the next time I stay in Honolulu. Thank you! ♪

３年連続ホノルルに滞在しています。日本よりも涼しくて快適なホノルルにリフレッシュ休暇で一週間滞在しています。
パイロットになるのが夢で、海外旅行の際はできるだけ操縦体験をするようにしています。
ホノルル空港を飛び立ちダイヤモンドヘッド経由東海岸方面へ。綺麗な海岸線に心打たれます。きめ細かい説明をしていただきあっという間に着陸となりました。送迎のドライバーさんも最初から最後までご丁寧にありがとうございます。
ついに、ログブックをつけ始めることにしました。
また、ホノルルに滞在するときは必ず寄らせていただきたいです。ありがとうございました♪

What an amazing place, everyone was super friendly and we had a blast!! Cool places to stop and take pictures. Don't forget to bring a change of clothes.

I was thrilled to jump from the sky while enjoying the beautiful scenery in Hawaii! I fell at a speed of over 200 kilometers per hour, experiencing something I had never encountered before. ☺️

The Mauna Kea Summit Sunset & Stargazing Tour was amazing. It is a must do and the pictures are a treasure. Our guide was great, took picture that we downloaded and twas very informative.

It was my first experience with a buggy, and I had a great time. I was especially glad that my two grandchildren participated and were so delighted.

I suggest to book this activity early. I wanted to book the ATV tour that is driven by us but those reservations were all gone. The only option was to be driven by a tour expert and I have to say that was the best! Our expert was very knowledgeable and friendly. If I would do it again I would definitely choose the option to be driven be an expert. The ranch is beautiful and views are breathtaking. Learning about the history was also great.

We were the only Japanese people there.
We rode horses in the spacious ranch.
We took a leisurely walk while explaining the grass, flowers, birds, and small animals in simple English.
The horse was calm and smart, so I only needed to control it with the reins when it stopped to eat grass; otherwise, it walked nicely.
We climbed a small hill and took commemorative photos at a scenic spot.
I had a very enjoyable time.

ゆったりと広い牧場内を乗馬。
簡単な英語で草花や鳥や小動物の説明をしながらの散策。
馬が大人しく頭がいいので、途中草を食べるのに止まるのを、手綱で制御するぐらいで、後はちゃんと歩いてくれます。
小高い丘を登り、景色の良い所で記念撮影。
とても楽しい時間を過ごせました。

First, I learned on the bus that a driver's license was required, and I realized I hadn't brought mine, which left me feeling hopeless. However, after consulting with a Japanese guide upon arrival, I was informed that a photo would suffice.

In the end, both my spouse and I were able to drive on an extraordinary road. The location was also fantastic, with many experiences that we wouldn't have had if we hadn't participated in this activity, such as taking commemorative photos at movie filming locations!

If you're hesitating, it will be a wonderful memory, so definitely give it a try!

まず、運転免許証が必要なことを行きのバス車内で知り、持参していないことに気づき、絶望していました。
しかし、到着後日本人ガイドの方に相談したところ、写真でも大丈夫とのことでした。

結局夫婦ともに非日常のロードを運転することができました。また、ロケーションも最高で、映画の撮影地での記念撮影などこのアクティビティに参加しなければ体験できないことがたくさんありました！

The experience of seeing Diamond Head and the blue ocean from above while gripping the control stick was incredible. I was very happy that they prepared afternoon tea for us after the flight and shared videos and photos. The pickup and drop-off service on the day was also very helpful! If you're hesitating, you should definitely go for it!

Due to strong winds, it was said that the eastern side of the island would be quite bumpy, so after takeoff, we headed north through the center of the island and then circled around to the west. The flight start time was delayed because the fuel truck took a while to arrive, but we were able to fly for a full hour.

During the experience, I was able to hold the control stick from takeoff to landing. Takeoff and landing are difficult, so I had to assist, but I still felt like I was piloting the plane. Once we successfully took off, I was able to fly the plane freely. The instructor guided me on the route, and I maneuvered along the highway and coastline. The sensation of controlling the plane up, down, left, and right was truly moving. The instructor handled the more challenging operations of the yoke and throttle, allowing me to focus on controlling the stick.

The weather was great, and seeing Oahu from the sky was breathtaking with its rich natural beauty. At various points, the instructor introduced sightseeing spots, and I was also able to take photos while the instructor handled the piloting. Both the instructor and the staff took many photos for us. They were friendly and easy to talk to, and they were very kind. This time, the instructor was Japanese, so I was able to experience everything in Japanese, which was very helpful.

It was an unforgettable experience that will last a lifetime. I am very satisfied. Thank you!

風が強く島の東側は大変揺れるとのことだったので、離陸後、島の中央を北上しそこから西周りで島を一周しました。フライトの開始時間は給油車がなかなか来なくて遅れましたが、しっかり1時間飛べました。
体験操縦ですが、離陸から着陸まで操縦桿を握ることが出来ました。
離陸、着陸は難しいので、手を添える形にはなりますが、十分操縦をしている感覚を得られます。無事離陸したら、自由に飛行機を操れるようになります。教官からルートを教えていただき、高速道路や海岸線に沿って飛ぶように操縦しました。上下左右に自分で飛行機を操縦している感覚は感動ものです。初心者には難しいヨークやスロットルの操作は教官がやってくださるので操縦桿の操作に集中出来ます。
天気が良く、空から見るオアフ島は自然豊かで絶景でした。要所要所で、教官が観光名所を紹介してくださり、また操縦を教官に任せて写真を撮ることも出来ます。教官やスタッフさんも写真を沢山撮ってくださいました。教官もスタッフさんも気さくな方で話しやすく大変親切にしてくださいました。今回はスタッフに加え、教官も日本人だったのでオール日本語で体験出来、助かりました。

一生の思い出となる体験が出来ました。

The flow of the experience is as follows:
1. Travel by bus from the hotel to Kualoa Ranch.
2. Receive instructions and a paper for registration in front of the visitor center.
3. Complete the registration for the Raptor Tour according to the scheduled time.
4. Experience.

During step 2, I wasn't given specific instructions to go to the Raptor Tour registration (it was in English, so I might have missed it). I waited in front of the visitor center, and by the time I realized it, the registration time had passed.

Since there were no specific instructions, I decided to look around a bit and found a map of the registration points for each tour (attached). When I went to the Raptor Tour location, I was told to line up at the back of the registration line, but by the time my turn came, it was already too late to participate.

In the end, I had to join a different tour that was available. (I appreciated the flexibility in changing the tour content.)

To prevent this from happening, I believe there should be an explanation on the experience page advising participants to head to the registration for each tour according to the scheduled times. I would appreciate your consideration of this.

体験の流れは以下となります。
1.ホテルからバスでクアロアランチへ移動
2.ビジターセンターの前で説明/受付用の紙を受領
3.受付の時間に合わせてラプターツアーの受付で手続き
4.体験

2の説明で、特にラプターツアーの受付に行くような指示をされず
（英語のみだったので聞き漏らしたのかもしれません）
ビジターセンターの前でずっと待っていたところ受付時間が過ぎてしまいました。

特に指示がないので少し周りを回ってみたところ、各ツアーの受付の
地図（添付のもの）を見つけて、ラプターツアーの場所に行ったところ受付の列の後ろに
並ぶように言われて、いざ順番が回ってきたらすでに時間切れで参加できないとのこと。

結局、そこから参加できる別のツアーに参加することになりました。
（柔軟にツアー内容を変更いただけたのはよかったと思います。）

このようなことの無いように、体験のページにおいて、
体験の時間に合わせて各ツアーの受付に向かうように説明をつけるべきと思います。ご検討をいただけると幸いです。

The guide, Sho-chan, was very considerate, and it was an enjoyable tour. The view above the Onizuka Visitor Center was like a different world, unlike anything else on Earth. I was very satisfied to see the Milky Way, artificial satellites, and shooting stars.

ガイドのショウちやんが色々と気づかってくれて、楽しいツアーでした。オニヅカビジターセンターより上の景色は同じ地球とは思えない景色が拡がっていました。天の川や人工衛星、流れ星も見えて大満足でした。

I had always wanted to try horseback riding, but since the youngest was 7 and the oldest was 69, it was hard to find a place where everyone could ride together. Just when I was about to give up, I found this place!

I signed up for a one-hour course that started at 8:45 AM. We left Waikiki just after 7 AM, stopped at Leonard's to buy and eat malasadas on the way, and arrived at the location just in time for the meeting. We parked in the spacious parking lot and received instructions from the staff at the reception, then signed the waiver.

Wearing helmets was optional for adults, but of course, everyone wore one! We only put our phones and car keys in the provided leather bags. After using the restroom and playing with the goats and sheep in the area, it was suddenly time to start.

Each person was helped onto a horse, and we received a brief explanation on how to ride: pull the reins to stop, turn the reins in the direction you want to go, and give a light kick to the belly if the horse stops moving. Even the 7-year-old was able to ride alone and we set off right away! At first, I was nervous, but the horses were all calm and smart, which made me feel at ease.

There were hills to climb and we weaved through a herd of cows, making it feel like an attraction, which was enjoyable. We could take pictures anytime, but since we had to hold the reins, it was a bit tricky to operate the phone with one hand while turning around to take a shot. It might be difficult for those who aren't used to handling their phone with one hand. The ranch staff took quite a few pictures for us, but they were $8 each, so we decided not to purchase any.

Since we had a child with us, we moved at a relatively slow pace, but I would have liked to ride faster if it were just adults. Also, the 7-year-old was placed at the back, so everyone had to be mindful of the pace, and it would have been best if the adults were at the back instead.

We chose the one-hour course, but it actually lasted over an hour, which was more than enough. By the end, my hips and thighs were shaking! All the staff were women, and the restrooms and animal areas were kept relatively clean, which was quite impressive (though there was a lot of dust). The kids said that horseback riding was the most fun part! I highly recommend it!

ずっとやりたかった乗馬でしたが、下は7歳、上は69歳だったのでなかなか全員で乗馬できるところがなく、諦めかけていたところこちらを見つけました❗️

午前8時45分集合の1時間コースを申し込み。
ワイキキを7時過ぎに出発し、途中レナーズでマラサダを購入し食べならがレンタカーにて現地へ。集合時間ギリギリに到着
広々とした駐車場に適当に駐車して、受付でお姉さんからの説明を受け、免責の書類にサイン。
成人はヘルメット着用が自由でしたが、もちろん全員着用❗️笑
荷物は備え付けの皮の袋へ携帯と車の鍵だけ入れて。
トイレを済ませたり、園内にあるヤギや羊たちと戯れているとあっという間に開始時間に。

1人ずつ馬に乗せていただき、手綱を手前へ引いたらストップ、手綱を曲がりたい方向へ向けたら曲がる、動かなくなったら足で軽くお腹を蹴るなど、軽く乗り方の説明を受けただけて、7歳の子供も1人で乗って早速出発❗️
最初は緊張しましたが、大人しく頭のいい馬ばかりだったので、乗っているこちらも安心できました。
坂道があったり牛の群れの間をすり抜けたり、アトラクション的な感じもあって楽しめます。
写真もいつでも自分たちで撮れます。
が、手綱は持ったままになりますので、片手で携帯を操作し、さらに後ろに振り向いてシャッターを押さないといけませんので、片手で携帯の操作をし慣れてる人じゃないと難しいかなと。
牧場の方もかなり撮ってくれますが、1枚8ドルだったので、購入はせず…
また、子供がいたのでかなりゆっくりのスピードで進んでくれましたが、大人ばかりならもっと早いスピードでも乗ってみたかったかな〜。
それと、7歳の子供が一番後ろに配置されたので、みんなが後ろを気をしながら進まないといけなく、できたら大人を最後にしてもらえたらベストではありました。

今回1時間のコースにしましたが、実質1時間以上あり十分でした。
最後になると股関節も太もももワナワナしてきて笑
スタッフは全員女性で、トイレや動物のいる所も比較的綺麗に保たれており、かなり好感持てました。(砂埃は凄かったですが)
子供達も、乗馬が一番楽しかったと言っていました‼️
めちゃくちゃオススメです‼️

Since childhood, I have dreamed of flying and wanted to become a pilot, but my mother, who was in charge of career guidance at home, dismissed my aspirations with a simple "no." I had been simmering with this dream for a long time, but after watching Mr. Onoda pilot a Cessna in Hawaii on YouTube, I thought, "This is it!" and I was inspired. After 50 years, my "dream" came true in Hawaii. Due to the weather, we were initially scheduled for the west course, but thanks to the captain's decisive choice, we flew the east course instead. Peering down at Diamond Head from above was the most amazing experience. The staff were incredibly kind, which made it even better. They provided round-trip transportation from the hotel, and we had such lively conversations that there was no time to feel nervous. I said my goodbyes, looking forward to next year, and it was a pleasant farewell. I've already booked my hotel, so I look forward to coming back.

　子供の頃から飛行機に憧れ、パイロットになりたいと実家の進路指導担当の母に申し出てもダメの一言で片付けられてしまいました。以来ずっと燻っていましたが、Youtubeで小野田さんがハワイでセスナ機を操縦するのを観て、これだ！と膝を叩きました。今回50年の時を経て、ハワイで“夢”が叶いました。天気の関係で西コースの予定でしたが、機長の英断で東コースを飛びました。ダイヤモンドヘッドを上から覗き込むなんて最高の体験です。スタッフの皆さんがまた親切でホントに良かったです。ホテルから往復送迎して頂きましたが、会話が弾んで緊張する暇も有りませんでした。また来年もお世話になりますと挨拶をして心地良いお別れをしました。もうホテルは予約しましたので、またお願いします。

The explanation of horseback riding was easy to understand because there was a Japanese video. As a beginner, I was nervous about falling off, but the horse was very smart, so there weren't any particularly difficult maneuvers. Since it's near the mountains, I thought it would have been good to prepare rain gear like a raincoat, as it suddenly started to rain.

乗馬の説明は日本語ビデオがあったので、分かりやすかったです。初心者なので落馬しないか緊張してましたが、とても賢い馬だったので、難しい操作は特になかったです。山の近くなのでいきなり雨が降ってきたりするため、カッパなどの雨具を用意すれば良かったと思いました。

I thought the hike to Manoa Falls would be easy, but the way there was all uphill, and it was quite muddy. There are several breaks along the way, but I was too focused on watching my feet to enjoy the scenery. The humidity was also quite high.

That said, seeing the waterfall was rewarding. It was truly beautiful. White shoes and light-colored pants are not a good idea.

Lunch at Tantalus Lookout was enjoyable.

マノアの滝までのハイキングと軽く考えていましたが行きはずっと上り坂。それも結構なぬかるみ道。途中何度か休憩がありますが移動中は足もとばかり見ていて景色を楽しむ余裕はなかったです。湿気もかなりあります。
とはいえ滝を見ると達成感はあります。ほんとうにキレイでした。白い靴と色の薄いズボンはNGです。
タンタラスの丘のランチは楽しかったです。

I previously went to see the sunset and starry sky from the summit of Haleakalā on Maui, and it was an absolutely stunning sight that cannot be compared. However, given the location, I did feel a bit unwell (I think this is what they call altitude sickness), so I was disappointed that I couldn't really enjoy the explanations about the stars. I had heard that there are few Japanese tourists and that the guidance would be in English, but on the day we participated, everyone in our group was Japanese, so we had a guide who spoke Japanese. Thank you for taking so many photos for us.

マウイ島のハレアカラ山頂からのサンセットと星空も以前見に行きましたが、比べものにならないくらい素晴らしい光景でした。
ただ、さすがに場所が場所だけに気分が悪くなり（多分これが高山病と言われるものなんだと思いますが）、星の説明はほとんど気けなかったのが残念でした。
日本人観光客が少なく、英語での案内になると聞いていましたが、私達の参加した日は1台全て日本人だったので、日本語の話せるガイドさんでした。
