I didn't have a friend to fly with, so I participated alone this time! I'm not good with roller coasters, but to be honest, this was way less scary than a roller coaster. It was exhilarating! However, I did feel quite nauseous after the parachute opened. I ordered the DVD, and when I had a screening with my friends at the hotel, it was a lot of fun!

I've been to Hawaii many times, and last year I participated in a horseback riding course in the North. This time, my daughter, who became hooked on horseback riding, insisted that we join a two-hour horseback riding course at Kualoa Ranch.

Unlike the North, here we were truly able to enjoy horseback riding while being gently rocked on the horse's back amidst breathtaking scenery and magnificent nature. It was an emotional experience to see the filming locations of Jurassic Park and the familiar landscapes from Lost on the vast grounds.

We were a team of six, and our guide, who is a fifth-generation Japanese American, was fluent in both Japanese and English. They frequently came back and forth from the front to the back where we were, taking care of us and chatting, so we had no worries or complaints and really enjoyed ourselves.

The two hours flew by. My son said it was the most fun he had during this trip. I highly recommend this tour! ☆

ハワイは何度も来ていて、去年はノースの乗馬コースに参加しました。そのときに乗馬にはまった娘にせがまれて、今回はクアロア牧場での乗馬2時間コースに参加しました。
ノースと違って、こちらは息を呑むほどの美しい風景と壮大な自然の中を、まさにゆったりのんびり馬の背に揺られて、本当に乗馬を堪能することができました。広大な敷地にある、ジュラシックパークの撮影現場、ロストでの見覚えのある地形など、感動ものでした。
また、6人で1チームでしたが、案内役の方が日系5世で日本語も英語も流暢な上、先頭から一番後ろの私たちまで何度も何度も行き来をしてお世話やお話をしてくれたので何一つ不安も不満もなく、本当に楽しめました。
あっという間の2時間でした。息子は今回の旅行の中で一番楽しかったと喜んでいました。このツアーはお勧めです☆

This was my first stay on Maui for our honeymoon, and it was also my first time at Haleakalā Volcano. There were other tours available, but I found this one online and chose it. In the end, it was truly great.

What was wonderful was not only the content of the tour but, above all, the guide was amazing. Unlike other tours, we stopped for a restroom break on the way to the volcano, but it wasn't just a restroom stop; we got to visit a town, do some shopping, and the guide introduced us to souvenirs, making even the restroom break enjoyable.

Additionally, the guide took a lot of photos for us and offered warm tea... And the most memorable part was the presentation during the star-gazing and the guide's storytelling. It felt like, as we were starting our new life together, I learned a lot from that story, and it motivated me to strive for a fulfilling life.

I will never forget that starry sky and what I felt at that moment. Thank you for the wonderful experience. I would love to join again with my parents next time.

今回ハネムーンでマウイ島に初めて滞在し、ハレアカラ火山も初めてでした。
他にもツアーはあったのですが、ネットで見つけてこのツアー選びました。

それから、写真をたくさん撮ってくれたり、温かいお茶のサービスがあったり・・・
そしてそして、一番印象に残ったのが星を鑑賞する際の演出とガイドさんの語り。
なんだか、結婚して新しい生活を始めるにあたり、あのお話は
多くを学び、そして私も自分の人生満足できるようにがんばろうって思いました。
本当にあの星空、あの時思ったこと・・・一生忘れません。
感動をありがとうございました。

I participated with a friend.

As we got closer to the summit, the oxygen became thinner, and I started to feel anxious because I was out of breath even after just a little movement.

However, thanks to the staff's advice and the breaks we took along the way, I felt reassured and was able to participate comfortably.

The sunset and the starry sky were breathtaking, unlike anything I had ever seen before! I was especially moved by the beautiful colors of the sea of clouds during the sunset.

I was unsure about participating since I lack physical stamina and tend to get car sick, but now I’m glad I decided to join.

It will definitely be a lifelong memory.

I would love to participate again someday.

My husband and I really enjoyed this activity. The Quads were fun and pretty easy to drive. The ranch is gorgeous and a great place to ride. Our guides were very knowledgable, fun, informative, and made effort to speak with all guests on the trip. I recommend not wearing any clothes/shoes/socks that you don't mind ruining from the mud spatter! Mud stains did not come out of our clothing very well. Also, bring LOTS of bug spray for the stop at the falls. LOTS of fun and I plan to do it again, next time I'm on Kauai.

We enjoyed the kayaking and hiking both. The Scared Falls were well worth the hike. I recommend good water shoes for the hike. I did it in flip flops and it was a bit tricky! Jesse was our guide and he was great, very energetic and knowledgable.

My family (wife and 2 teenagers & I) did the bike and hike tour last week. Our excursion lead was Mateais and he was very knowledgeable, friendly and somewhat entertaining with his canned one liners that he's been working on for quite a while. The tour started with a bike ride (mostly downhill) in a very scenic neighborhood with great view of downtown and into the valley. The hilight of the tour was the hike into the rain forest. It was quite a kick being able to get lost so close to civilization on a path that not many people have been on. The hike was not strenuous and the rain forest definitly lived up to its name. Recommend you wear the rain boots they offer as its is very wet at times and muddy in parts. The path was scenic taking you through deep brish, through small streams, up to an isolated waterfall and then through a mile long stretch of a bamboo forest. We had a blast on this tubing adventure. Definitely a great way to have fun without to much effort. Just sit back and relax on the tube and off you go. I took my kids (7 & 12), husband and parents and everyone had a great time. And the way Grandma (almost 60) was talking about it afterward, I know she really enjoyed herself. I booked this tubing adventure and the Na Pali Coast Snorkel Tour and my family told me I was 2 for 2.

Hawaii is an island of the South Seas. It was a mystical experience that completely dispelled that image. The air at an altitude of 4,000 meters was crystal clear, and I was breathless at the majestic sight of nature untouched by human hands. The sun quickly set, and the colors of the sky changed vividly along with it, while the brilliance of the stars that filled the night sky afterward was an overwhelming sight that is hard to put into words. The guide who explained the constellations, stars, and the Milky Way under this natural planetarium, weaving in stories related to them, was truly wonderful. I want to go again to gaze at the autumn and winter skies.

Horseback riding has always been a really fun pastime for me, and I especially thought after seeing the ad on your site that this particular ride seemed different and unique. And it was!

The horses themselves are polo horses....and wow...are they beautiful. Very different from most ranch horses i have seen...and the ride itself...all I have ever been on have been on ranches along dusty trails or in the woods...THIS WAS ON THE BEACH...RIGHT BY THE WATER...IN HAWAII!! I honestly think I don't need to say anymore! On the beach...in Hawaii!

I choose this horsebackriding venue because of the website which stated they are not your typical trail ride. According to the ad we would not be riding nose to tail - that's exactly what we had to do--- also the ad stated we would be free to ride the horses to our ability-absolutely not, we were not allowed out of the line or to go faster than a walk or to go ahead of the guide-who was a most unpleasant woman. Also the beach part of the ride was very limited. The only high marks I give are to the horses!! They were not your typical trail horses. Overall I was disappointed, especially considering the high cost.

It was my first experience and I was very nervous, but as the instructor said, I was able to fly like a bird without feeling weightless. Falling from 4,200 meters at a speed of 200 km/h was thrilling. If you pay an additional fee (USD 188), a personal photographer will capture the entire experience from takeoff to landing on DVD and in about 100 photos. If you request something like "Please take a photo that captures the curvature of the Earth," they will likely accommodate that. Before flying, there is a few minutes of an image video and a brief lesson, but you will sign a contract stating that they are not responsible for any accidents, so the decision to participate is at your own risk. If you have any health concerns, it is recommended to see a doctor beforehand.

June 25, 2011: My first and probably last skydiving! I want to praise myself for doing well... Anyway, 1. Fear of heights doesn't really matter 2. There’s no G-force like on a roller coaster, and you don’t feel that floating sensation 3. The instructor is reliable, and you can experience it without any anxiety 4. The rapid descent changes the air pressure quickly, so your ears might hurt a bit 5. I think those who participated should definitely order the DVD 6. For those who haven't experienced it yet, those who are hesitating, and those who are unsure, I highly recommend participating (please consider the risks carefully). In December, I'm going to Hawaii with my husband, and he has also expressed his intention to participate, lol. It was so much fun!! Thank you to all the instructors!!

The sunset from the summit of Mauna Kea. The sun sinking into the sea of clouds was more beautiful than I imagined.
With the borrowed gear and over-pants, I hardly felt the cold.

After that, we descended to 3,900 meters for stargazing. The starry sky exceeded my expectations. Choosing a date close to the new moon was the right decision.
The guide's explanations were easy to understand, and I had downloaded a constellation app (Star Walk) on my iPhone, but it didn't see much use, which was a pleasant surprise.
Taking photos of the starry sky was quite challenging, but with a simple tripod and a compact digital camera that allowed manual shooting, I managed to capture some shots.

The round trip drive is a bit long, so it might be a challenge for those who are prone to motion sickness, but it's definitely worth the effort to prepare and take on the challenge.

When you live in the city, you rarely get to gaze at the starry sky. Given the season, "Tanabata" is one of the events for Japanese people, drawing attention to the night sky. However, it's also the rainy season, and it's rare to have clear weather in Japan.

So, off to the Big Island of Hawaii! A natural planetarium!

The starry sky at the summit of Mauna Kea was truly wonderful. I could see Saturn's rings clearly. To see both the Southern Cross and the North Star in the same night sky! I saw countless shooting stars. Thank you to our engaging guide, Mr. Yamamoto, for keeping us entertained with his witty storytelling.

It was a summit tour that felt like it was over in the blink of an eye. It's no wonder there are so many repeat visitors.

When I made the reservation, there were no reviews, so I was torn between the tour to Waipi'o Valley, but I wanted to cross the river, so I chose this company and participated with some anxiety. However, it exceeded my expectations in a good way, and I had a really enjoyable time. I could tell that the guide was trying to entertain us, and everyone, including quite a few Japanese participants, got excited together. We crossed multiple rivers and even encountered wild horses. I'm not sure if the guide was the only one, but I was able to understand more Japanese than I expected, and the explanation on how to ride the horses was clear. I had heard that there are many mosquitoes in Waipi'o, so I took a lot of precautions, but I didn't hear any mosquito sounds. The horses were beautiful, and even my somewhat fastidious self was fine with them. It was truly great. For those who are hesitant, I highly recommend it!

予約する時、レビューがなかったのでワイピオの淵を行くツアーと迷い、でも川を渡ったりしたかったのでこちらの会社を選び、不安なまま参加しました。でも良い意味で想像を超え、本当に楽しい時間が過ごせました。ガイドさんが楽しませようとしてくれているのがわかるし参加者みんなで（日本人も結構いました）盛り上がり、川をいくつも渡り、野生の馬にも出会いました。ガイドさんがその方ひとりなのかは分からないですが、思っていたより日本語も通じるし、馬の乗り方の説明も伝わります。ワイピオは蚊が多いと聞いていたので蚊よけをかなりしていきましたが蚊の音は聞かなかったです。馬もきれいで潔癖ぎみの私も平気でした。本当に良かった。迷っている方、ぜひお勧めします！

This tour gets an enthusiastic YES from me! And my boyfriend agrees. We both had a great time. We are outdoor enthusiasts, so we wanted to stay in nature out and doing activities while here in Hawaii, so this was just right for us.

I like especially how the trip was mixed in that we got to paddle along the river in a kayak, and then mix it up a bit with a nature walk...kept things interesting and allowed different muscles to rest.

Really good time, we both had a lot of fun.

My wife, who is an avid bird watcher, convinced me to come on this tour. Okay, she basically dragged me here...and I seriously thought I was going to be miserable and bored the whole time....but I was honestly amazed at how much fun I had!

It was an entire day, but it didn't feel too long at all...in fact, there were so many new birds that I had never seen before that we were learning the names of and all, that I felt like by day's end we were just skimming the surface of all these rare species!

My wife teases me now when we talk about it, that I might have had even more fun than her! Great tour.

Magnum Doors-Off Helicopter Tour - Oahu Island Scenic Flight from Honolulu

was skeptical at first b/c i'd never been on a chopper before. it was a smooth ride with an experienced pilot. i was able to actually be over a rainbow...somewhere over the rainbow, way up high! would do it again. highly recommend it. you only live once.
