I wanted to see the sunset from the summit of Mauna Kea again on our 25th wedding anniversary, which I booked (though it doesn't align with Japan time) since we visited the Big Island for our honeymoon 25 years ago.

We were staying at a B&B, so we were picked up at the entrance of Kona Mountain Coffee near the airport. The large van was fully booked with 13 people. Due to bad weather, the mountain had been closed for four days, and it was finally open again… everything about this trip felt lucky!

Our guide, JIN, who was quite big, kept us entertained with his lively talk in the van (laughs). Around 3:30 PM at the Onizuka Visitor Center, we had an early dinner with bento boxes, warm miso soup, and drinks, and put on our ski pants. We took photos at a beautiful spot with a sea of clouds, and everyone bundled up in their ski jackets as we headed to the summit.

The sea of clouds changes every day, so the way the sunset reflects varies, allowing us to see different sunsets each day. The clouds looked like snow! Without any wind, we felt truly lucky. As the sun gradually set, the surroundings turned orange… it was moving. I might have extended my life (laughs).

Once the sun set, we moved down in the van because the headlamps would interfere with the observation. We waited until it got darker, and warm drinks and cookies were distributed. The star explanations were given by another tour guide, Ishikawa.

Looking up at the sky made my neck a bit sore, but the starry sky was so overwhelming it felt like they were falling. JIN took many photos with his hobbyist telescope camera, being considerate since it was our silver wedding anniversary (the photos can be downloaded later with a password). The photos that can't be captured on a smartphone will become one of our precious memories.

We were dropped off at the meeting point around 9 PM, and since we were a bit hungry, we stopped by Subway to take out sandwiches on our way back to the accommodation.

25年前の新婚旅行で訪れたハワイ島でもう一度マウナケア山頂からの夕陽が見たくて25回目の結婚記念日（日本時間とはずれますが）に予約をしました
私たちはB&Bに宿泊していたので、飛行場近くのコナマウンテンコーヒー入口でピックアップしていただきました
大きなバンに13名満席でした
4日間悪天候の為山がクローズしていて、久しぶりのオープンとのこと…今回の旅行は何だか全てラッキー！
大きな大きな（身体がbig）ガイドのJINさんはバンの中でも軽快トークで飽きさせません（笑）
オニヅカビジターセンターで15:30頃早夕食のお弁当と温かい味噌汁、飲み物をとり、スキーウェアのパンツを履きます。雲海が綺麗なスポットで写真を撮り、スキーウェアの上着を着て全員モコモコギュウギュウ詰めで山頂へ
雲海は毎日出方が違うので、雲海の出方によって夕陽の映り方も違い、日々違う夕陽が見れるそうです
雲海がまるで雪のよう！風もなく本当にラッキー
だんだん陽が沈み、辺りがオレンジ色に…感動です
寿命が延びたかも（笑）
陽が沈むとヘッドライトが観測の妨げになるとかで、バンで下の方へ移動します。そこでもっと暗くなるまで待ちます。暖かい飲み物とクッキーが配られました
星の説明はもう1組のツアーガイドの石川さんが
空を見上げて少し首が痛くなりましたが、降ってくるかと思うくらいの星空でした
JINさんが趣味という望遠カメラでたくさんの写真を撮ってくれました。銀婚式ということで気を遣ってたくさん撮ってくれました（写真は後日パスワードを受け取りダウンロードできます）
スマホでは撮れないような写真はまた大切な思い出のひとつになります
集合場所に送り届けてもらったのが9時頃、さすがに小腹がすいたので、宿に戻る途中、サブウェイでサンドイッチをテイクアウトして帰りました

翌日最終日の夕食は教えていただいた夕陽が見れるレストランに予約をして行ってきました！

Beautiful location and it was interesting to see all the movie sites , in particular, the Jurassic Park locations

On the day I participated, I was lucky enough to see a beautiful sunset and starry sky! The summit of Mauna Kea was unimaginably cold, but I was able to manage thanks to the warm clothing they provided. Additionally, they took photos at each point, and there was a service to download them for free from a dedicated site, allowing us to get pictures with the starry sky in the background that we couldn't have taken ourselves! Depending on the weather on the day of participation, it seems that you might not be able to reach the summit or see the stars well, so I really feel lucky. If I could wish for something, I would be happier if the quality of the bento was a bit higher.

私が参加した日は運よくサンセットも星空もとってもきれいに見れました！マウナケアの山頂は想像を絶する寒さでしたが、防寒着を貸し出していただけたので我慢できました。また、ポイントごとに写真も撮っていただけて、無料で専用サイトからダウンロードできるサービスもあり、自分たちで撮影することのできない星空をバックにした写真なども撮っていただけました！参加日の天候によっては、山頂まで登れなかったり星空があまり見えなかったりするようなので、本当にラッキーだったなと思います。欲を言えば、お弁当のクオリティーがもう少し高いと嬉しいです。

It was my first time skydiving, so I was very anxious, but thanks to the instructor's humorous care, I was able to have a very exciting time! I want to go skydiving again.

初めてのスカイダイビングでしたので大変不安でしたが、インストラクターの方のユーモア溢れる気遣いにより、とてもエキサイティングな時間を過ごすことができました！
またスカイダイビングしたいです。

It was absolutely amazing! I participated with my 10-year-old daughter. This time, we didn't rent a car during our stay in Oahu, so the shuttle service was very helpful, and we thoroughly enjoyed the scenery and ziplining for half a day. Of course, all the explanations were in English, but we could still have fun within our understanding. It's fine to just follow along.

My daughter was a bit light and couldn't make it to the end, so she had to backtrack, but it was a great memory when someone came to help her like Spider-Man, and everyone was surprised and laughing. It was a nice reminder that there are different ways to enjoy Oahu. I definitely want to participate again!

I recommend wearing quick-drying short or long sleeves to prepare for sudden rain. If your shorts are too short, the belts and other gear might rub against your skin. Wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty from rust, and if you're taking photos, pants with pockets that won't drop things even when you're upside down are a good idea.

There will be explanations along the way, but if it seems like you won't make it to the goal, they will throw a rope from the goal. There is a short red rope attached to it. If you think you can't reach it on your own, grab that red rope, and you can be pulled! My daughter barely reached that red rope and ended up having to go back. Adults should be mostly fine!

とにかく最高に楽しかったです！10歳の娘と参加しました。今回はオアフ滞在中レンタカーをしなかったので、送迎付きはありがたく、半日景色とジップラインを満喫しました。もちろん全て説明は英語ですが、わかる範囲で盛り上がれます。見よう見まねで大丈夫です。
子供は軽いと最後まで行かずバックしてしまうこともありましたが、スパイダーマンのごとく助けに来てもらったことも良い思い出で、みんなびっくり&笑ってました。こんなオアフの楽しみ方もあるんだと再確認。ぜひまた参加したいです！
スコール対策のためにも乾きやすい半袖か長袖をおススメします。下もショートパンツ過ぎると、身体に装着するベルト諸々が皮膚にあたると思います。錆びなどで汚れても良い服装、写真を撮るなら逆さになっても落ちないポケットのあるパンツがいいですよ。
・途中で説明がありますが、ゴールまで届きそうにない場合、ゴールの方からロープを出してくれますが、その先に赤い短いロープが付いています。自力で届かなそうでむり！と思ったときにその赤いロープにつかまれれば、引っ張ってもらえます！
娘はその赤いロープにもギリギリ届かなくて、
逆戻りしてしまいました。大人はほぼ大丈夫です！

Adventure Tower was a lot of fun and brought me back to my childhood. However, you might feel it's not quite enough. I could hear the voices of a group doing the zip line, and I thought, "We want to do that too." The buggies were also appealing... Since it was an experience course, I can't ask for too much, but of course, there are safety harnesses. However, the course is quite athletic and progresses through very unstable footing, so it might be a bit tough for those with a fear of heights or lacking confidence in their legs. The next day, I had a bit of muscle soreness. You also have to hook the safety harness yourself, but it's set at a slightly high position, which might be challenging for shorter people like children. At the end, we did something like a low bungee jump. I got to experience the feeling of being Tarzan, but even for someone like me who isn't afraid of heights, it was a little scary. If you're someone who wants to try bungee jumping someday, this could be a good warm-up.

アドベンチャータワーは童心に帰って楽しめました。ただ、それだけでは物足りないと感じるかもしれません。ジップラインをしているグループの声も聞こえてきて「自分達もやりたい」と思いました。バギーも…。体験コースでしたので、贅沢は言えませんがf(^^; もちろん命綱はありますが、とても足場が不安定なところを進んで行くアスレチックなため、高所恐怖症な方、足腰に自信のない方はちょっと厳しいかもしれません。私は次の日、じゃっかん筋肉痛になりました。また、命綱を自分で引っ掻けて進んで行くのですが、少し高めの位置に設置されているため、子供など身長の低い人もしんどいかも…。最後には低めのバンジー的なものをしました。ターザン気分を味わえましたが、高所恐怖症ではない私でも少し怖かったです。いつかバンジーに挑戦したいと思っている人なら、肩慣らしにいいかもです。

I had my first horseback riding experience this time, and it was truly a fun and fulfilling time. At first, I was worried about whether I could give commands to the horse properly, but the horse I rode was very smart and took good care of me.

Indeed, it was a bit challenging to keep the line while they started eating grass everywhere, but the location was great, and I was able to spend a wonderful time.

There is a shuttle service available, but since the time commitment was long, we made our own way there. However, the bus we took was easy to navigate, so personally, I think going without the shuttle is recommended. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

今回初めて乗馬体験をしましたが、本当にたのしくて充実した時間になりました。
最初はうまく馬に指令ができるのか心配でしたが、私が乗った馬はとってもスマートで、上手に私を乗せてくれました。
確かに、いたるところで草を食べだして一列を守って歩くのは少し大変でしたがロケーションもよく素敵な時間を過ごすことができました。

送迎もありますが、拘束時間が長いので自分達は自力で向かいましたが乗るバスも簡単だったので、送迎なしのほうがおすすめかなと個人的には思いました。
素敵な体験をありがとうございました。

I was hoping for a starry sky, but there were clouds, and even at an altitude of 3,000 meters, I realized it was difficult to see perfectly. It was my second time, and I was disappointed.

満天の星空を期待しましたが、雲があり3000メートールの高さでも、完璧にはなかなか見ることができないことを痛感しました。二度目だったのですが、残念〜

I participated in this tour on November 17, 2017, expecting a sky full of stars. Unfortunately, due to strong winds, we couldn't go to the observation deck at the summit of Mauna Kea, but our guides (Ishikawa and Matsuzaki) set up another viewing point on Mauna Kea, and we were able to enjoy a very satisfying stargazing experience. They set up a telescope so we could see Saturn and shared fun stories about the stars under the real night sky. The real Milky Way is truly moving. We also had the opportunity to take photos with the starry sky as a backdrop, which became a wonderful keepsake.

Once it was confirmed that we couldn't go to the observation deck, they efficiently moved us to another sunset point, and we were able to take photos at a great timing. Despite the many challenges posed by nature, I truly appreciate the sincere efforts of the guides to make our experience enjoyable. It was a truly wonderful experience. If I ever have the chance again, I would love to see that starry sky once more.

今回は満天の星空を期待し、こちらのツアーに参加させて頂きました。残念ながら強風の為マウナケア山頂の展望台に行くことが出来ませんでしたが、ガイドのお二人が(イシカワさん、マツザキさん)マウナケアの別のポイントをセッティングして下さり、大満足の星空観測を堪能する事が出来ました。土星がみられるように天体望遠鏡をセットし、皆に見せて下さったり、本物の星空の下にて楽しい星のお話をして頂きました。本物のミルキーウェイは本当に感動的です。また、星空をバックに写真撮影もして頂きました。とても良い記念になりました。
展望台に登れない事が確定した時点で、手際よく別のサンセットポイントへ移動され、とても良いタイミングで写真撮影もしていただきました。
自然に左右される事も多い中、少しでも我々を楽しませようとして下さる、ガイドの方の誠意ある対応に、本当に感謝しております。
本当に素晴らしい体験でした。もしもいつか機会があれば、またあの星空を見たいなあと思ってしまいます。

I went on this activity with a friend and we took the 55 bus from Waikiki to North Shore. It was a long ride (about 2.5 hours) but the bus literally runs along the shoreline so it the scenery was very nice. You can tell the bus operator that you want to get off at Gunstock Ranch and they'll holler to let you know when they've reached the appropriate stop. A note for those who are not taking a car to the ranch: It's a bit of a walk from the road! It probably took about 5-7 minutes for us to arrive at the ranch.

Because the bus was a bit late, my friend and I were late to our 10:30AM check-in time. We called ahead to let them know and they were very accommodating. The activity was scheduled for 11AM and they told us to just let them know if we were going to arrive later than 11 since our ride might have to be shortened in that case. Luckily we arrived right at 11. It took just a couple minutes to get us checked in and after a short introduction on how to make the horse go and stop, etc, we were on the horse and ready to go.

Our guide was Hannah and she was very nice and attentive. She made some conversation along the way and was quick to help us out if the horse wasn't cooperating. The rest of our group took a horseback ride along the shoreline but my friend and I chose Gunstock Ranch because my friend is allergic to UV rays. The backwood trail of Gunstock Ranch was perfect for her. It was very quiet and tranquil and you could still see the ocean from afar. For our purposes this ride was absolutely perfect.

My only gripe is that two days later, my bum still hurts! Haha.

I noticed the instruction to call for confirmation the night before, and when I called first thing in the morning, they assured me that it was fine not to confirm and that they would pick me up on time, which was a relief.

They arrived about 15 minutes past the scheduled time. The guide was very pleasant.

I wore sneakers as advised for walking, but I ended up wading into the river with my shoes on, and the jungle was so muddy that I got completely covered in dirt. I recommend wearing outdoor water shoes (the guide was barefoot). Even without going into the waterfall, there was a point where we had to cross a river, and at 155 centimeters tall, I got wet up to my thighs.

Also, both canoeing and hiking were quite strenuous. I usually exercise, but I was sore the next day. However, the sense of accomplishment made it very enjoyable.

Perhaps because it was a bit chilly seasonally, most people didn't go into the waterfall, and we only stayed there for about 20 to 30 minutes, including lunch. It was great that we could kayak at our own pace without feeling rushed on the way there and back. By the way, since I was participating alone, I kayaked with another solo participant.

I think they picked me up around 8:40, and I returned to the hotel around 14:15.

If I have the chance to go again, I would love to participate once more.

前日の夜にコンフォームの電話をしろと書いてある事に気がつき、当日朝イチで電話をすると、コンフォームしなくても大丈夫、時間通りに迎えに行きますよ、との事で一安心。
約束のお時間を15分くらい過ぎて迎えがきました。
感じのいいガイドさんでした。

歩きやすい靴、との事でスニーカーで行きましたが、川の中も靴のままで入ったり、ジャングルはぬかるみがひどく泥まみれになりました。
アウトドアー用のウォーターシューズで行く事をオススメします。（ガイドさんは裸足でした）
滝で水に入らなくても、行く途中に川を渡るところがあるので、その時点で155センチの私は太ももまで濡れました。

また、カヌーもハイキングもなかなかハードです。
普段運動をしている私ですが、翌日筋肉痛になりました。ですがその分達成感もあり、大変楽しかったです。

季節的に肌寒かったためか、ほとんどの人が滝には入らず、滝にはランチも含めて20分〜30分ほどしか滞在しませんでした。
行きも帰りもカヤッキングは焦らされることなく、自分のペースで行かせてくれて良かったです。
ちなみに私は1人の参加だったので、もう1人のお一人様と一緒にカヤッキングをしました。

8:40位に迎えがきて、ホテルに戻ったのは14:15くらいだったと思います。

また行くことがあったらまた参加したいです。

Our tour included three couples from the mainland besides my husband and me. There was also a Japanese tour with a guide fluent in Japanese at the same meeting time, but the instructions and riding techniques were explained so thoroughly that we had no trouble at all with the English tour.
I was unsure about wearing a helmet. If you're worried, you can wear one, but the other couples weren't wearing helmets, so we decided not to. All the horses were well-trained (though some were quite greedy and tended to wander off), so it was fine without a helmet.
There was a bag available at the stable that you could borrow for free. You can put drinks, smartphones, and digital cameras in it. One person on the same tour attached a handle to their digital camera and took lots of photos while riding. I thought it would be a hassle to carry a selfie stick, so I just took my smartphone, but I was nervous about dropping it while taking pictures. I wished I had attached it to the selfie stick.
We also rode through the beautiful nature along the river, soaking in plenty of negative ions.
It was an afternoon tour, and it drizzled a bit on the way, but we were lucky that it didn't rain at Waipi'o! I would love to go horseback riding again when I visit the Big Island.

私たちのツアーには私たち夫婦以外に本土からのカップルが3組でした。同じ集合時間で日本語が堪能なガイドによる日本語ツアーもありましたが、注意事項も乗り方も丁寧に教えて下さるので英語でも全く不便はありませんでした。
迷ったのはヘルメットの着用。心配なら着用、他のカップルは着用なしだったので着用なしで。馬はどの子も良く調教されてるので（一部かなり食いしん坊で寄り道の多い子もいましたが）ヘルメットなしでも大丈夫でした。
馬屋に蔵につけるバッグがあり、無料で借りれます。
飲み物やスマホ、デジカメなど入れておくことができます。同じツアーの方がデジカメにハンドルをつけて乗馬しながらバシバシ写真を撮ってました。私は荷物になるかとスマホの自撮り棒を外してスマホのみ持って行きましたが、落としそうでハラハラしながら撮影してました。自撮り棒につけていけば良かったなと思いました。
大自然の中川の中も進んで行きます。マイナスイオンをたっぷり浴びてきました。
午後からのツアーで、行く途中パラパラと雨が降っていましたが、ワイピオは雨が降らなくてラッキーでした！またハワイ島に行った時には乗馬したいです。

Our group consisted of four people: my spouse and I, along with another young couple, and the guide's wife participated as an assistant. The guide, likely with a wealth of experience, had everything meticulously planned and prepared, allowing us to enjoy a safe and pleasant time. We climbed to the summit at around 3,000 meters in about an hour and a half, making stops at souvenir shops and a supermarket to choose sushi bento for dinner (included in the price) to gradually acclimatize to the altitude.

On the day of the tour, we encountered light rain on the mountainside, but with the guide's skillful driving and cheerful explanations, we reached the summit, where we found a blue sky above the clouds. We avoided crowded tourist spots and enjoyed the sunset from a quieter location, savoring sushi bento along with warm Japanese tea. Afterward, we took turns looking through telescopes while the guide explained various stars and constellations.

Two years ago, we participated in a sunset tour at Mauna Kea on the Big Island of Hawaii, where the summit is at 4,000 meters and the air was quite thin, making it difficult to breathe. In comparison, Haleakalā was much more comfortable. Additionally, there is a discount for seniors, making this tour highly recommended for older travelers.

うちの夫婦と、もう1組の若いご夫婦の計４人の客に、ガイドの奥様がアシスタントで参加されました。ガイドさんはおそらく多くの経験を積まれているのでしょう、非常に周到に計画され準備されていて、安心して楽しいひとときを過ごすことができました。3000メートル級の山頂まで１時間半ほどで登っていきますが、高度に徐々に慣れるように、土産物店に寄ったりスーパーで夕食の寿司弁当（料金に含まれています）選びに立ち寄ったりします。
当日は途中の山腹で弱雨にあいましたが、霧の中を巧みな運転で不安なく、軽快な口調の説明を聞きつつ登った山頂は、雲の上の青空でした。多くの観光客がいる場所を避けて、人が少ない場所からゆっくりとサンセットを楽しみ、暖かい日本茶のサービスとともに寿司弁当をいただいたのち、交替で望遠鏡をのぞきながら多くの星や星座を解説してもらいました。
私たちは2年前にハワイ島のマウナケアのサンセットにも参加し、マウナケアは4000メートル級で山頂の空気が薄くでかなり息苦しかったのですが、それに比べればハレアカラははるかに快適でした。また熟年者には割引料金のサービスもあり、高齢者に優しいツアーとしておすすめします。

It was my first time skydiving, and the instructor was entertaining, making it an exciting experience! Going in the early morning allows you to return by noon, which is also appealing as it leaves plenty of time in the afternoon.

初めてのスカイダイビングでしたがインストラクターの方も面白く、刺激的な体験が出来ました！早朝に行って午前中で帰って来れるので、午後の時間もしっかりあるところも魅力です。

Die Kajaktour ist einfach zu bewältigen, zieht sich aber meiner Meinung nach mit 45min etwas hin. Die Wanderung zum Wasserfall ist eine Erfahrung für sich: Durch einen Fluss mit doch recht starker Strömung (Sicherung durch ein Seil), über wirklich schlammige Wege durch den Dschungel und das alles wieder zurück. Ist aber für jedermann gut zu bewältigen. Auf jeden Fall Wasserschuhe mitnehmen. Teilweise standen wir knöcheltief im Schlamm. Der Wasserfall ist großartig (30m hoch), das Wasser sehr erfrischend. Man darf aber nicht erwarten, dort mit seiner Gruppe allein zu sein. Im Minutentakt kommen neue Besucher am Wasserfall an. Trotzdem eine schöne Location.
Würde die Tour wieder machen!

Spaßige Seiltrutschentour an 7 Seilen. Diese sind über ein grünes idyllisches Tal mit einem Bach gespannt. Mit einem Offroad-Fahrzeug in einer Gruppe von ca. 10 Personen wird man zur Örtlichkeit auf einer privaten Ranch gefahren (man passiert dabei einen Drehort vom Hollywoodfilm "Tropic Thunder"). Nach einer Einweisung passiert man die Rutschen. Die längste dauert 30 Sekunden, die höchste ist über 60m hoch. Nach der letzten Rutsche kann man im Fluss (kalt!) baden.

It was an amazing experience. I was nervous since it was my first time, but the service was great, and I was able to enjoy myself without worry. Thank you very much!

My daughter and I had an amazing ride! Jessica, our guide was so sweet and we had a great time with her. The horses are all so beautiful and well behaved. Our dream to ride along the oceans edge came true! I highly recommend this horseback riding company and we will definitely be back!! ❤❤

By far the most fun I’ve had in Hawaii. Loved it. I recommend it for anyone any age. The staff was outstanding. They were very informative and they could tell a story. The experience was exhilarating. The scenery was gorgeous.

Since retiring at 65, my dream has been to fulfill my childhood longing for space by visiting Mauna Kea.

I spent two years planning under the conditions of a new moon during the off-season, thoroughly researching direct flight tours to the Big Island, and spent two weeks online looking into Mauna Kea tours before choosing Masashi's tour.

After witnessing the splendid sunset with the Subaru Telescope proudly glowing red, I was able to see the starry sky a little further down. However, clouds started to appear after a while, which was a bit concerning, but as Mr. Otaka suggested, waiting paid off as the skies cleared beautifully.

Everyone says it’s like a planetarium, and I thought it couldn’t be that great, but it truly felt like a planetarium.

Additionally, the Leonids meteor shower coincided with our visit, providing the best conditions with occasional shooting stars and the Milky Way.

From the moment I got into the welcoming car, Mr. Otaka's high-energy tour began. I bombarded him with various questions during the ride, and he provided precise answers that were far superior to what I found in books or online, which greatly benefited my travels in the following days.

65歳でリタイアしてからの夢は、
少年のころからの宇宙への憧れを、
マウナケアに行って満たすことでした。

2年かけて新月でシーズンオフの条件で計画し、
ハワイ島直行便ツアーを調べつくし、
2週間ネットでマウナケアツアーを調べつくして、
マサシさんのツアーを選びました。

スバル天文台が誇らしげに赤く輝く極上の夕陽を見た後、
少し下った所で星空が見えました。
が、暫くして雲が出て来てやや危なかったですが、
大高さんの言う通りに待つときれいに晴れてきました。

皆さんまるでプラネタリウムと言うけれど、
そこまでは無いでしょうと思ってましたが、
本当にプラネタリウム見たいでした。

さらにしし座流星群も重なり、
時折の流れ星と天の川最高の条件でした。

迎えの車に乗った時から大高さんのハイなツアーが始まり、
車中で様々な質問を浴びせましたが、
本やネットとは別格の的確な答えをいただき
翌日以降の旅にとっても良かったです。

I can't forget the beautiful view of the sunrise and the sparkling North Shore that I saw while skydiving! I smile every day while looking at the photos! Haha. Before jumping, you can choose whether to have no filming, use a GoPro, or hire a photographer. I requested to use a GoPro. You can decide whether to purchase the video after seeing what was filmed. The instructor constantly takes photos and videos, which really boosts your excitement and enhances communication, so I highly recommend it! After skydiving, there is a notebook where you can leave a message for the instructor. It's a shame I couldn't express myself well in English. Some people might feel anxious about the content of the waiver you sign in the car, but let's just forget about it! It's guaranteed to be an amazing experience!!

インストラクターの方が常に写真や動画を撮ってくれていてテンションもさらにあげてもらえるしコミュニケーションもより取れるので本当におすすめです！
スカイダイビング後、インストラクターの方にメッセージを残すノートが置いてあります。英語だとうまく伝えられなかったのが残念でした。
移動の車中でサインする誓約書の内容に不安になる方もいるかと思いますが…きっぱり忘れちゃいましょう！
最高の経験になること間違いなしです！！

My first horseback riding experience, and for two hours overseas! I was a bit anxious about it. Before riding, we watched a Japanese video about horseback riding precautions. We stored our bags in a coin locker. There was a pocket on the saddle for small items like smartphones, so I was able to put mine there. It seems that bags worn around the neck are not allowed for safety reasons. While touring the movie filming locations, I felt like watching the video again. At first, I thought two hours might be long, but by the end, it didn't feel that way. I was initially nervous riding, but by the end, I wanted to spend a little more time with the horse. The guide was explaining various things in English, but I couldn't understand much. Still, just riding around the vast grounds was very soothing. By the way, my backside started to hurt (laughs). This pain is also a good memory of the trip.

初めての乗馬、それも海外で２時間も！大丈夫だろうかと内心不安でした。
乗馬前に乗馬に関する注意の日本語のビデオをみます。
荷物はコインロッカーに預けます。スマホ程度は鞍のところにポケットがあるので
そこに入れることができました。
首からかけるバックなどは危ないのでダメのようです。
映画ロケ地をめぐっていると、もう一度ビデオ見ようという気になります。
２時間は長いかなと最初思っていましたが終わってみればそうでもなく、
最初は恐々乗っていましがら、最後ももうちょっとこのお馬さんと一緒にいたいなって
思いました。
ガイドさんが英語でいろいろお話（説明）してくれているのですが
英語のわからない私はチンプンカンプン。それでも、広大な敷地を馬にのってまわっているだけで癒されました。
ちなみにお尻が痛くなります（笑）この痛みも旅の良い思い出です。

The main purpose of this trip to Hawaii was to go skydiving. I participated alone, but my excitement outweighed my anxiety, and I had high expectations even before the departure. The weather was clear on the day, and the views were amazing! The dive exceeded my expectations. My tandem partner Connor and the photographer Kira were both fantastic! I also had a great conversation with the driver during the transfer, which made me very satisfied! I definitely want to experience this again!

今回のハワイ旅行の一番の目的がスカイダイビングをする事でした。一人での参加でしたが不安よりワクワク感の方が大きく出発前から期待してました。当日は晴れて景色も最高！期待以上のダイビングでした。タンデムのConnor 、撮影してくれたKira　二人ともサイコー♡　送迎のドライバーとも楽しい会話ができて大満足です！また絶対体験したいと思います♪　

The facility is new and clean, and there are chickens and rabbits, making it a fun place for children to visit. I think it's reassuring that there are staff members who can speak Japanese. They were energetic, friendly, and kind from the morning.

I experienced the Adventure Tower. Although I have a fear of heights, I managed to clear the lower level while sweating with nervousness. I had to retire from the upper level, but my boyfriend took on the challenge! Just watching him made my legs shake, but it was fun!

From the top floor, you can experience a 50-foot (about 15 meters) free fall, but both of us had to retire. What a shame! However, I was initially hesitant to try the swing on the lower level, but once I did, it was a lot of fun! Next, I want to try the zip line!

施設は新しくて綺麗で、ニワトリやウサギもいて子供が行っても楽しめる場所でした。
スタッフも日本語が話せる人もいるので安心だと思います。朝から元気で楽しく優しく対応してもらいました。
アドベンチャータワーを体験しました。
高所恐怖症の私ですが、手に汗握りながら下の階はなんとかクリアー出来ました。さすがに上の階は私はリタイヤで彼氏だけが挑戦！見てるだけで足がガクガクなったけど楽しいかったです！
最上階からは50フィート(約15メートル)のフリーフォールが体験出来るのですが…２人共リタイア。残念！しかし下の階で出来るスイングは最初はなかなか踏み出せなかったけどやってみたら楽しいかったです！次はジップラインに挑戦してみたいです

Great view of the valley and lots of movie locations and info. Bring a rain jacket if going in the fall or winter season in case of tropical showers.

It was my first experience riding a horse, but I got used to it in about 30 minutes. The guide was flexible and provided support throughout the ride. Since we walked along narrow paths in the valley, the horse stopped to drink water and eat grass along the way, and we even passed by cars, which helped me improve my reins handling. They also took some great photos.

The meeting point was quite far and hard to find. I was a bit nervous during the journey, but somehow I understood the pickup fee.

乗馬初体験でしたが30分ほどで慣れてきました。
ガイドの方が前後について、臨機応変にサポートしてくれました。渓谷の細い道を歩くので途中で馬が水を飲んだり草を食べたり、途中で車とすれ違うことも、おかげで手綱さばきも上手くなりました。いい写真も撮ってくれました。

I had been to North Shore and Haleiwa before, but this time I spent my time without renting a car, so I joined this tour. I had heard about Happy Trails from a friend beforehand, so I chose the canyon course.

I was able to thoroughly enjoy riding on the mountain paths with ups and downs, and above all, I was impressed by the intelligence of the horses! I learned various guiding techniques before riding, and although I was initially nervous about the leading part, I gradually relaxed and was able to enjoy the scenery. The weather was great, and the view of the ocean from the hill was amazing!!

I also had plenty of time to enjoy myself in Dole and Haleiwa!

ノースショア、ハレイワなどには行ったことがありましたが、
今回はレンタカーを借りずに過ごしたのでこちらのツアーに参加し、
友人から事前にハッピートレイルさんの話をきいていたので、
渓谷コースを選びました。

登り下りの有る山道をしっかりと乗馬しながら満喫することができたし、
何よりも馬たちの賢さに感動！
乗馬前に色々ガイドの仕方を習いましたが、
その一歩先行く先導っぷりに、最初は緊張していましたが、
徐々にリラックスして景色も楽しめるようになりました。
お天気がよかったし、丘からの海の景色は最高でした！！

ドール、ハレイワでの自由時間もゆとりがあって充分満喫できました！

Others have praised it in their reviews, and I think that's true. It's a shame that my child was too small and fell asleep. We'll participate again when they are older.
