First off, big thanks to Jeff for being an entertaining and super knowledgeable guide. Great customer service as well. They called us early on in the morning to let us know, to our dismay, that we wouldn’t be able to get up to the summit for our particular trip (due to many weather related circumstances that were out of their control). It was a huge bummer, but like I said, still 100% worth it to attend the abbreviated version of this excursion. I’m more of a street smarts kinda guy if you know what I mean, Jeff made everything so easy to understand and so interesting to everyone attending the trip. He was able to answer every single question we had. I swear the guys a living encyclopedia. Long story short there should be no hesitation on your part to take this once in a lifetime trip. Set aside the funds you need to experience this NO. MATTER. WHAT.

I participated alone. I was able to hike while feeling the power of nature in Oahu. I took many deep breaths and enjoyed the forest bathing.
Along the way, there were explanations about the trees, and I was able to take pictures at photo spots, making it a fun experience like a field trip.
The guide, Shanti, was very cheerful, and her explanations were easy to understand, which was great.
The lunch bento was delicious and made with gentle ingredients for the body.
The hike healed my body and mind, and the bento satisfied my stomach.

一人で参加しました。オアフの自然のパワーを身体に感じながら、ハイキング出来ました。沢山深呼吸をして森林浴を楽しみました。
途中、樹についての説明あり、また写真スポットで撮影してもらえたり、遠足のような楽しい時間でした。
ガイドのシャンティさん、とても明るく、説明も分かりやすく、良かったです。
昼食の弁当も美味しく、また身体に優しい素材で作られていました。

The primary purpose of this trip to Hawaii was to go to the summit of Mauna Kea and take sunset photos. However, despite the clear weather, the temperature was low, causing the roads to freeze. Ultimately, the road closure was not lifted, and we couldn't reach the summit. When I inquired, I learned that there had only been two occasions this February when people were able to go to the summit. The tour regulations state that access to the summit may be restricted due to weather conditions, but I felt that promoting sunset viewing at the summit when the chances of going there are less than 10% is, in a sense, misleading. I do not recommend the sunset viewing at the summit of Mauna Kea during winter.

I booked a plan that includes transportation! The bus arrived on time, and all the staff spoke English. Even if there was a language barrier, the staff tried to communicate with gestures, so it all worked out! The zip line was so much fun! It's fine even if you have a fear of heights! The fruit tomatoes and apple bananas from the farm were delicious too!

The tour lasts about 3 hours and includes 7 zip lines. 1) They teach you various sliding styles, 2) You can take commemorative photos at scenic spots! 3) Tomatoes, macadamia nuts, bananas. 4) The harness and rules are very thorough, so you can feel safe and there’s no risk of falling, which means you can also take photos with a smartphone selfie stick. 5) They talked to us in English about various things before sliding, but I didn’t understand… 6) The price is on the higher side, but I think it was worth the experience.

This is my second time (the first time I applied directly).
It's difficult to get there on your own, but we go all the way down to Waipi'o Valley.
The horses are well-trained, and you can enjoy horseback riding with a simple lecture.
(They walk on their own without you having to do anything. Haha.)
Since they are living creatures, they stop along the way to eat grass as they please,
and they also take bathroom breaks while walking (which is another memory).
We even crossed a river. It was swollen from the rain a few hours earlier, but the horses moved forward without hesitation.
They also take commemorative photos for you.

Please enjoy the lush green trees, flowers, and horses of Waipi'o.
If you visit the Big Island, I highly recommend it!

自力では行きずらい、ワイピオ渓谷の下まで行きます。

The shrimp on the North Shore is incredibly delicious!! The town is colorful and very stylish, which really lifts your spirits! There are many souvenir shops, so I did a lot of shopping!

Horseback riding on the beach was fabulous. Beautiful and very relaxing. Our ride was 11/2 hours long which was just perfect. We wanted the sunset ride but it was booked, so reserve early. The horses are well groomed and cared for. Highly recommend this experience.

We participated as a family. At first, it was scary, but since we got used to the gentle course before moving to higher altitudes, we were able to enjoy it without anxiety. There was an instructor who spoke a little Japanese, which was helpful. It would have been even more fun if we could speak English.

Since there are times when you need to hold onto the equipment with both hands, it would be convenient to have a case to hang your smartphone around your neck. I think it would be concerning if you only had it in your back pocket and it fell out.

When we were there, there was water available, but unfortunately, there were no bananas or other fruits (not sure if they ran out?).

Overall, it was a fun and great experience.

英語が出来たらもっと楽しかったでしょうね。

We got to kayak down the Wailua River. Jay our guide was amazing. He told us about historical information about the beautiful island of Kauai and it’s history. Our hike to the waterfall was deep in the interior and he pointed out plants and trees and gave us history and background about them. He was patient and very friendly. Our swim in the falls was something on my bucket list and was definitely what I was expecting and more! Thank you to Jay and everyone at Kayak Kauai!

This time, we couldn't reach the summit or observe the starry sky due to bad weather. It's really disappointing since it's not an easily accessible place. Given the cost, we should have considered the timing (especially in winter) more carefully. As for the guide, I would have preferred more information about the attractions and charm of the Big Island rather than personal stories.

I'm not very good with roller coasters (to give you an idea, I wouldn't want to ride Splash Mountain at Disneyland), so I hesitated, but I went ahead and did it!

Since you jump with an instructor, there's no time to hesitate up in the air, so you won't have extra time to feel scared! You only feel the sensation of floating a little at first, and after that, it's completely fine!

The scenery is absolutely beautiful, and the instructor is friendly and helps ease your nerves by chatting with you. We didn't have to wait long at all. It can be cold up in the air, so I recommend wearing long sleeves and long pants during this season.

The minimum tip for the instructor and photographer is $20, and for the driver, it's $10, so you'll need to prepare cash. Payment for optional fees can be made by card.

If you're hesitating, I definitely recommend giving it a try!

ジェットコースターがとても苦手(ディズニーランドで言えばスプラッシュマウンテンはあまり乗りたくない程度)なのでやるか迷いましたが決行しました！

The instructors were friendly and made me feel very excited even before flying. There were also people who spoke Japanese, which gave me a great sense of reassurance. When I was flying, I was asked if I was a fan, and when I answered "fan!!", they spun me around, which was a lot of fun.

I think Manoa Falls is wonderful, but the path to get there was steep. Perhaps it was due to the rain from the previous day, but most of the people coming down had muddy shoes, which made me a bit anxious as I climbed. However, rather than worrying about my shoes, I was focused on avoiding the mud and not slipping, so I ended up not having the leisure to enjoy the surrounding scenery. For a hiking beginner like me, it was a tough course.

It was skydiving from a height of 4,267 meters. Everything was a first-time experience and it was very valuable, but the instructor was very friendly and helped ease my nerves. At one point, due to some trouble with the airplane, we switched to a helicopter, but we were able to fly safely without any injuries. It was the best experience I've ever had! However, I did feel a bit nauseous while descending in a spiral with the parachute... Also, it's cold, so warm clothing is essential.

I didn't understand the guide's (Kaz's) explanations well, and I was just dropped off at the sea and left to my own devices. I spoke with a woman who was also on the same tour, and none of us really understood what was going on. The horseback riding was very enjoyable. However, the casual way of speaking and the overall lack of professionalism made it an unsatisfactory tour. I recommend not participating.

Since it's nature, we can't predict the weather until the reservation date. I climbed up to 2,800 meters, but it started to rain along the way. We take some time for altitude acclimatization, but due to the rain, we eat cold boxed lunches in the car. Beyond that point, the road was closed due to snow and ice. We changed our plans and headed to the west coast to watch the sunset. I was looking forward to seeing the sunset and stargazing from the summit, but... here too, the clouds obscured everything. I've seen the sunset every day for five days, so maybe it's okay.

We had the most wonderful time yesterday at Kualoa Ranch! What a beautiful place, full of activities for all ages. My sister was visiting from Tennessee and we took her to the ATV Raptor Tour. We chose the one hour package, but trust us, one hour goes pretty fast, if you have the chance get the package for 2 hours, do it! It was absolutely unforgettable, the view, the sites, the adventure. The staff was very helpful and fun. When you come to Hawaii, make sure to hit Kualoa Ranch for the activities they offer!

Overall, I am really happy with the experience. I saw this activity online and booked it over the phone. The eight year old who still lives in this 60-year-old heart of mine adored the whole adventure. Not because it was simple, but because we got to have an experience floating down an irrigation flume through tunnels and exotic beauty. It felt a little bit like we were getting away with something. Also, our guides - Cody and Justin - were funny and friendly and kept us perfectly safe the whole time. My advice is to go in the morning so you get in on the picnic at the end of the adventure. A beautiful setting in which to rest and refresh.

We flew together as a couple ^_^. I was a little worried, but it was absolutely amazing! Supported by a strong instructor, we soared into the sky without hesitation! I became a bird without thinking about anything.

Don't expect a detailed explanation like in Japanese leisure activities; this is a self-responsibility leisure activity. You’ll be asked to sign many waivers, all in Japanese. I didn’t have time to read them, but I thought it wasn’t something to read thoroughly anyway.

Anyway, I highly recommend getting photos or videos! My husband ordered both photos and videos, while I just ordered photos! If you have an iPhone, they can send you the data via AirDrop on the spot. Definitely wear colorful clothing for the best visuals! ^_^ It’s cold at 4,200 meters, but there’s no time to feel cold! It gets hot once you land! Many people were flying in short sleeves. The instructors were dressed quite warmly, but everyone was colorful. ^_^

The Japanese guide at first seemed brusque, gave little explanation, and spoke in a commanding tone, which made me think, "What’s going on?" However, he turned out to be a deep and wise person with a rich life experience. I think opinions may vary, but it was definitely worth getting along with him! By the end, I was glad he was there! ^_^

We were grouped with a party of four women from Saga, and one of them was a wonderful girl who spoke English perfectly, so we became friends. After all, traveling is better with companions!

なーんにも考えず、鳥になりました。
説明が全部わからないし、日本のレジャーの説明を期待しちゃダメです。自己責任のレジャーです。沢山の誓約文にイニシャルサインを求められますが、全て日本語。読む暇なかったけど。笑
でも、きっちり読んでやることでもないなと。

ともかく、写真かビデオはおススメです！
うちは、夫が写真とビデオを。わたしは、写真だけを注文！その場でアイホンなら、エアードロップでデータくれます。
ポイントは是非ともカラフルな服装で臨まれるべし^_^。絵的にそれがいい！
高度4200メートルはそら寒いけど、寒がってる暇もない！降りたら暑いから！
半袖で飛んでる人多数。インストラクターさんは結構厚着やったけど、みんなカラフルでした。^_^

日本人ガイドのおじいちゃんは、はじめ、ぶっきらぼうだし、説明少ないし、命令口調だし、な。なんなの！と、思いましたが、なかなか深みのある人生の大先輩で、好き嫌いあるかなと思いますが、仲良くしてもらって損は無し！最後は、この人居てくれてよかった！と、思いました^_^

佐賀から女子4人で参加してるグループと同じグループになって、その中の1人が英語バッチリのステキな女子だったので、彼女らとも仲良くなって、やっぱり旅は道連れ！

インストラクターさんに身体を預け、風の流れに身体を預け、それだけで、地球を自分の目で空から眺められました。
アクセサリーは外して、靴はひもぐつが。あんしんとおもいます。わたしは、デッキシューズぽくて。ぬげちゃうかなとちょっと気になってたけど。大丈夫でした。
帰りの送迎のバスで、パラシュート開いた時にくるくる回された男性が、ゲロゲロ吐いちゃって、、酔いやすい人は注意！寝不足も注意！
あと、耳はいたーーーーーくなる人と痛くなる人と個人差ある模様。どちらの場合も耳が元に戻るのに時間がかかります。笑

チャンスあれば、カラフルな服着て、カメラ目線意識して、また飛びます！
やれて良かった！幸せでした！

We participated as a couple on our honeymoon in Hawaii for the first time.

At first, we were nervous and chose the lower plan, but during the explanation of the flight, we quickly switched to the higher plan. Since there was only a $30 difference and the drop time would be more than double, we decided to go for it.

In the end, it was a great decision! It was way scarier than roller coasters or bungee jumping! It was so much fun and became a lifelong memory.

The waiting time mentioned in the reviews might be around 3 hours, but we didn't really feel it because of the excitement, and the time to calm down was actually nice.

It was really fun!! Thank you very much!

We went to Umauma Falls Zipline last week and had a blast! Although it nearly rained the entire time, the crew were nothing but the best! Always laughing, making us laugh, and allowing us enjoy the amazing beauty of the falls. You have to do the 9-line to get the best experience! Definitely recommend for anyone on the Hilo side!

We participated as a family of four. Our family was the only group on the tour, and we had one female guide with us. After preparing the saddles, we received instructions on how to ride and handle the horses. Everything was in English, but as long as you closely follow the guide's movements, you'll be fine! The handling instructions were just four basic commands: "go," "stop," "right," and "left," so it wasn't difficult.

And finally, we set off! Along the way, we even challenged ourselves to a canter while climbing up the vast ranch towards the mountains, and when we looked back, the stunning view of the Kohala Coast came into sight. It was a wonderful view, and I'm sure you can enjoy a refreshing feeling.

All the horses are well-trained and safe, but each horse has its own personality. The horse I rode seemed to dislike mud and chose to walk on dry ground, even if it meant staying away from the other horses. In contrast, the horse my wife rode seemed to love water and splashed right into the puddles. While we experienced a bit of the difficulty in controlling the horses, it was a fun time. I highly recommend that everyone try this experience!

The wind from the mountains felt cold, so even if it's sunny, I think it's better to borrow a jacket. Also, the horses will walk through puddles and muddy areas, so your shoes might get wet or dirty, so it's advisable to borrow boots as well. Both are available for free.

家族4人で参加しました。ツアー参加者は私たち家族のみ。ガイド役の女性が一人付いてくれました。鞍の装着などの準備が整い、次に馬の乗り方や扱い方の説明を受けました。全て英語ですが、ガイドさんの動きをよく見てその通りにすれば大丈夫！　馬の扱い方といっても『進め』『止まれ』『右に』『左に』という４つの基本的な動きの伝え方だけなので難しくありませんでした。
そしていよいよ出発です。途中、駆け足にも挑戦しながら広大な牧場を山の方に向かってどんどん登っていき、振り返るとコハラコーストの絶景が目に飛び込んできました。素晴らしい眺めです。爽快な気分が味わえるはずです。
どの馬もよく調教されていて危なくはありませんが、各々の馬に個性があります。私が乗った馬は「ぬかるみ」が嫌いらしく、他の馬から離れてでも乾いたところを選んで歩きました。と思えば妻が乗った馬は水に入るのが好きなようで水たまりにジャブジャブと入ります。思い通りに動かす難しさを少々味わいながらも楽しい時間でした。皆さんもぜひ体験してください！

【追記】
山からの風は冷たく感じましたので晴れていてもジャケットは借りたほうがいいと思います。また、水たまりやぬかるんだところを馬が進みます。靴が濡れたり汚れたりすることもあるかもしれませんのでブーツも借りたほうがいいと思います。いずれも無料でお借りできます。
