Before participating in this tour, I was concerned about altitude sickness and the weather. To counter altitude sickness, we had dinner at the Onizuka Center, located at an elevation of about 2800m, which also helped with acclimatization. (The Hawaiian-style Japanese bento and warm miso soup were delicious!) After that, we headed towards the summit, and even after we set off, they kindly taught us how to breathe deeply, allowing us to avoid any symptoms of altitude sickness and enjoy the journey without issues.

Regarding the weather, it had been unstable recently, with stars sometimes visible and sometimes not, but fortunately, the day we participated was perfect! (In fact, the conditions were excellent!) Looking up from the base, there were clouds on the mountain, but apparently, this is a daily occurrence. When you think about it, we were climbing up to 4200m, which is quite high...

From the summit, we were able to see a beautiful sunset over the sea of clouds. After enjoying the sunset at the top, we descended a bit and did some stargazing. The sunlight was reflecting well, and there was a breeze, making for excellent conditions. While weather can be unpredictable, it turned out to be the best moment for us.

このツアー参加前に気になった事は高山病と天気について。
高山病対策は途中の標高2800m付近のオニヅカセンターにて高地順応を兼ね夕飯のお弁当を食べました。(このハワイアンチックな和風弁当＆温かい味噌汁は美味でした！)その後、山頂へ向かい出発してからも、丁寧に深呼吸の仕方を教えてもらい、道中高山病の症状も出ず問題なく過ごせました。
天気についても、ここ最近は不安定な天気で星空が見えたり見えなかったり、との事でしたが、私達が参加した日は幸いなことに問題ありませんでした。(と言うか、絶好のコンディション！)麓から上を見上げると山に雲が掛かっていますが、これは毎日のことらしい。考えてみれば、それよりも高い4200mまで登るんですよね。。
山頂からは雲海から沈む大変キレイな夕日が臨めました。山頂でサンセット堪能後、少し下に降りそこから天体観測。暗くなるにつれて星がどんどん多くなり、その最中に動く人工衛星も2〜3機確認できました。今日は太陽の反射光もよくあたり風もありで、絶好のコンディションだったようです。夏場の星空はもっとスゴいとのことですが、これ以上の星空ってどうなっちゃうの？？という程キレイな星空でした。夜空についてもポインターを使い面白おかしく説明していただき、天体について改めて学ぶ事が出来ました。
天候の運不運もあるのでしょうが、私達にとって最高のひと時となりました。

I was nervous because of my fear of heights, but if you're hesitant, definitely give it a try. When you're falling, it feels like you're flying, and there's no sensation of floating like on a roller coaster—it's completely refreshing.

For those who are sensitive to roller coasters, if you ask to descend gently without spinning during the parachute, you can enjoy the breathtaking views without any issues.

There were a few people who got nauseous and had to sit out, so it's worth mentioning.

You should definitely try it at least once in your lifetime.

In Hawaii, I went on a tour with a major tour company, but the optional tours were fully booked, so I made a reservation through this site myself. I felt a bit anxious participating in a tour without any other Japanese people, but both the driver and the local staff were kind and explained everything in English, so it all worked out. My 9-year-old daughter is learning horseback riding, and we wanted to let her experience it in nature, so our family of four participated.

On the day of the event, we drove there with a rental car and were able to find the meeting point easily using Google Maps. After signing a liability waiver and a short bathroom break, we set off.

We went down to the valley in a large 4WD vehicle, which was really thrilling and fun! There was a Japanese guide from another tour with us, and it was great to hear the explanations together. The guide talked about the plants around us, but since there were about ten of us in a line, there were times when it was hard to hear the guide's voice. A friendly dog that was close to the horses also joined us, which was very cute.

The ladies at the small souvenir shop at the meeting point were very nice, and we chatted with them a bit. We rode for about an hour and a half, which made our backsides sore, but we also experienced some rain, walked through a river, and it was quite challenging to control the horses as they kept eating grass.

At one point, I got too close to the horse in front of me, and my horse almost bolted, which was a bit scary. If you're worried, it might be a good idea to get travel insurance, as horses are living creatures and anything can happen.

全部で1時間半くらい乗馬してるので、お尻が痛くなりましたが、途中、雨も降ったり、川の中を歩いたり、馬たちが草を食べるのでなかなかコントロールが難しかったです。
途中、私は前の馬と近づき過ぎて、私の馬が暴走しそうになり、少しヒヤッとしました。
心配な方は旅行保険に入った方がいいかも知れません。馬は生き物なので、何があるかわかりませんので。
全体にはとても貴重な体験だと思います。日本で、あの大自然は見られません。
子供たちにすてきな思い出ができました

I wanted to participate in a tour where I could experience things that can't be done in Japan, so I joined a zipline tour. Since it included pick-up service, I waited before the meeting time, but even when the time came, no one showed up. It said, "If the pick-up doesn't arrive after waiting for 5 minutes, do not leave the location and contact the tour company..." so I made a call (there was no Japanese-speaking staff). The meeting place was the hotel tour lobby, and it seemed to be delayed because there were many other tour participants and the pick-up was from several hotels.

There was no Japanese guide at Keana Farm, so all the explanations were in English, but the tour guide explained things clearly in simple English multiple times. Since the meeting was early in the morning and we returned to Waikiki after 2 PM, it's better to have breakfast beforehand. At Keana Farm, you can buy juice and snacks, but there wasn't a place to have lunch.

You can also enjoy the scenery of the North Shore, and since you can experience the largest zipline in Oahu, I recommend it.

朝早い集合でワイキキに戻ってくるのが2時過ぎるので、朝食は取っていった方がいいです。ケアナファーム ではジュースやスナックを買うことができますが、ランチを食べるようなところは無かったです。
ノースショアの景色も堪能できて、ジップラインもオアフ島最大のジップラインも楽しめるのでオススメします。

I was told that there was no reservation. I'm not sure if it was a mistake by Veltra or Polo Club, but although I was able to go horseback riding somehow, the attitude of the Polo Club was consistently poor, and I felt terrible even though I did nothing wrong. The phone support from Veltra was only in English, so I couldn't contact them right away. That was disappointing as well. Since I was really looking forward to the activity, I felt very let down.

We went to Hawaii to celebrate my parents' 60th birthday. Since we were in Hawaii, I wanted to do something truly Hawaiian, so I signed up for this tour. Neither my parents nor I had any experience with horseback riding, and we were very worried before getting on the horses, but the moment I mounted the horse, all my anxiety disappeared, and I felt excited. For about an hour and a half, we enjoyed a leisurely ride, listening to the sound of the hooves and breathing in the fresh air of nature. My parents said that this horseback riding experience was the highlight of our time on the Big Island.

The tour was conducted entirely in English, so everyone except us were foreign participants. Even if you don't speak any Japanese, the guides communicate in broken Japanese, saying things like "stand" and "danger," so I don't think you need to worry too much.

Also, it takes about 25 minutes to travel from the meeting point to the riding area by wagon. ツアー自体は全て英語で行われるため、ぼくたち以外は皆外国人の参加者でした。全く日本語が出来なくても、カタコトの日本語で「立って」や、「あぶない」など言ってくれるので、そんなに心配は要らないと思います。
また、集合場所から馬乗り場まではワゴンで25分ほど移動します。移動時間が長いというコメントもお見かけしましたが、それは全米1の急斜面をゆっくり下るためと、ガイドが車窓から見える景色を説明してくれているからであって、全く退屈せず、むしろ新鮮でアドベンチャラスで楽しかったです！
日本語のツアーよりもお値ごろでしたし、大満足です！！

I'm usually terrified of roller coasters, but I flew for the first time at my husband's request.

The staff who provided transportation to the site and explained the consent form spoke some Japanese. The instructor who flew with us primarily spoke English, but he explained everything clearly with gestures, making it very easy to understand. パラシュートが開いて周りを見る余裕ができた時には一面にハワイの景色が広がっていて、正に絶景でした。

もしジェットコースター等が苦手で迷ってる方がおられたら是非お勧めします。

I first jumped at the opportunity for skydiving with the "3-day free Wi-Fi bonus," but... due to the difficulty of coordinating my activities during the 5-day trip, I had to give up on it. な、何とピックアップ時間の1時間も寝坊し遅刻したのです！①まずベルトラに遅刻のメール報告②自力でパシフィックスカイダイビングセンターで行く事を決意しその旨をセンターに伝える③ホテルからタクシーで現地に向かう手段に決めドライバーにGoogleで検索ナビをお願いしてから急いでもらいました。事前に口コミで飛ぶまでに何時間も待機する…と書き込みを既読してたので焦る事はありませんでした。ワイキキから1時間弱で到着し間に合いました。
ダイビングは、実に素晴らしい経験で怖いと感じてる暇なく、みんなどんどん飛び出していく感じでした。一緒に飛んでもらう彼らに全信頼を、自身を委ねる。
まさに一生のうちにそんな経験もまずないですし、飛び終えた人に笑顔が絶えなかったのが印象的でした。

I always rely on Viator's optional tours. Previously, the one-hour horseback riding experience went by in no time, so this time I signed up for the two-hour course. It was great that the courses were different for one hour and two hours. Considering the waiting time, the pickup was at 10:20 (the bus took a while to arrive...). We started horseback riding at 12:15. While we were getting ready to ride, it started to rain, so we borrowed raincoats from the ranch and were all set. However, the rain stopped quickly, and we had blue skies! There was one staff member for a group of six Japanese tourists. I couldn't do fast walking or running, so it felt a bit lacking for someone with riding experience. When I asked the staff on site, they told me that if I go towards Kohala, there are spacious fields where I can ride.

Since being picked up would take up the whole day, I rented a car and went to the location. I arrived an hour before the meeting time, but the procedures were quick, and although the diving was scheduled for noon, we were able to take off much earlier. I appreciate the prompt service!

However, I felt a bit uneasy about the lack of checks. The instructor immediately proceeded to the next dive after landing. They quickly folded the used parachute and prepared for the next flight, but that process was very simple and didn't involve checks from others.

The staff efficiently secured the customers' safety belts, but to put it bluntly, it felt quite careless. The skydiving experience itself was amazing, but I felt that the checks could be a bit more thorough...

Diving while looking at the blue sky and ocean of Hawaii, along with the rainbow, was the best!

お迎えだと１日潰れてしまうので、レンタカーを借りて現地に行きました。
集合時間の１時間前に到着してしまいましたが、手続きが早く行われ１２時予定のダイビングでしたがかなり早く飛ぶ事が出来ました。対応に感謝！

ただ、少し不安に思ったのが・・・、誰のチェックもない事。
インストラクターは飛んで降りたら直ぐに次のダイビングを行います。
使用したパラシュートをチャッチャと畳んで次のフライトを行うわけですが・・・その作業が凄く簡単で他の人のチェックを受けないんです。

お客さんの安全ベルトなども手際よくサッサと装着するわけですが、悪く言えば非常にいい加減な感じです。スカイダイビング自体は素晴らしい体験でしたが、少々チェックが甘いな・・・と感じました。

ハワイの青い空と海、虹を見ながらのダイビングは最高でした！！

My cousin and I have gone out on fishing with Capt Jack 4 times over the last 4 years. We have caught fish on each trip. The trip we took last week was a blast. 1st we
spent about a 1/2 hour catching bait.Then we used the bait to catch 9 small (10 -15 lb) yellow fin tuna and a mahi mahi on live bait. At least twice we each had a fish on at the same time. Then the 1st mate took out the big rods and we looked for bigger fish. We caught about 20 lb ono. If you like fishing, head out the Mark on Captain Jack out of Keauhuou Bay, you can start catching fish at the mouth of the harbor. Mark and his first mate always provide helpful guidance to the ladies. We took 5 one gallon baggies of fish home. Great job Capt Mark.
