Following the precise advice of the veteran instructor, I was able to fully experience piloting, including sharp turns over the ocean. I also received videos of the takeoff, cruising, and landing, which I’ve watched multiple times, eagerly anticipating my next challenge. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and this was the best sunset and stargazing tour that my friend and I have participated in. Mr. Yoshi was very friendly from start to finish -- he made sure that we had time to eat food, stay hydrated, and rest well as we climbed in elevation. I was originally worried I wouldn't get to get my stamp for my national park passport because of the visitor center closure, but Mr. Yoshi asked the entrance park employee for a stamp on a post-it note, and it made my day! He knew the best places for sunset, and was very knowledgeable about all the stars. We learned so much about the sky, and enjoyed peaceful moments just looking up. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone spending time on Maui!

While I was still contemplating, the one-day tour with lunch was fully booked, so I signed up for this tour individually. This tour doesn't offer much in terms of introducing filming locations, but the view from the top of the mountain is stunning. However, it shakes a lot and the seats can be slippery, so be careful where you sit. I think you'll get better photos from the front, back, or left side.

It was fun. It's an activity that you can't easily experience in Japan. The wonderful scenery is truly enjoyable. However, I was expecting a bit more challenging off-road terrain, but the course was surprisingly mild. It's quite relaxed. At one point, the buggy I was riding in broke down, and I had to share with someone from the same group, but they quickly provided another buggy, so it was fine. The guidance along the way was in fast-paced English, as mentioned in the reviews, and I could hardly understand it, but at the photo spots, the guide actively took pictures and videos for us.

We had a great time with Kauai Mountain Tubing Adventure. Brice, our main guide, was very experienced, safety conscious and fun. He was born and raised on Kauai so get his recommendations on things to do on the island.
The tubing in the canal and tunnels was great and another guide, Cameron, made it fun, too.
There was a wonderful lunch provided after the tubing. I highly recommend this excursion.

You start with a 3-minute video explanation in Japanese. After that, the driving begins, and you stop about three times for photo spots and explanations. The guide's explanations are all in English. The guide often asked if we wanted to take photos. It was fine to wear shorts. I was unsure about wearing sandals, but in the end, I went with sneakers, which was the right choice since it made it easier to press the accelerator and brake. You cover your face with goggles and a provided mask, but by the end, the areas that weren't covered were dirty from the dust, which was funny. If you come to Hawaii, this is something you should definitely do. It's a wonderful experience.

I thought waking up early would be tough, but the sunrise from Diamond Head is worth the early wake-up! They also handle reservations, which makes it easy. They teach you about the area while driving around. They took us to a great place for the popular malasada donuts, so we didn't have to wait and could eat them right away! They also recommend good lunch spots and share which ones are not so great (laughs). I had the rare experience of cracking and eating nuts myself. There was also time for shopping, and it was a fun tour packed with activities!
