I participated in the tour on October 30th.

Since I was joining with my elderly mother, we were both really anxious about whether we would be okay before going, but thanks to our guide Daisuke's kind escort, my mother, who was snorkeling for the first time, was able to see dolphins multiple times!! My mother hesitated to dive, worried that she might disturb others, but Captain Nawata encouraged her, saying, "Mom, you shouldn't think you're a bother. It's okay. Just follow Daisuke. Since you joined this tour, you have to see more dolphins!" Daisuke also reassured her, saying, "It's okay. I'm here with you!" and she was able to try multiple times. If it had been a larger group tour, I think my mother would have been left alone. However, Daisuke and the captain's enthusiasm and kindness to make the customers happy and to let them meet dolphins really came through.

I was also worried about seasickness since I'm weak on boats, but I was fine. The waves might have been calm, but the boat was shaped like a larger rafting boat, which allowed it to glide over the water's surface, minimizing the typical rocking of a boat. However, I think it's better for those who are worried about seasickness to take motion sickness medication beforehand, as you can't enjoy it if you get sick.

This tour was filled with the love for the Hawaiian sea, dolphins, and customers from guide Daisuke and Captain Nawata.

Actually, on the day I participated, we couldn't see any dolphins, which surprised even the captain. Just when I thought it was hopeless, we spotted a bottlenose dolphin and were able to try! Although we were running out of time, thanks to the captain's spirit, we were able to play until the very last moment! Thank you so much!!

I also felt a deep love for the dolphins. They didn't chase after dolphins that seemed unwilling to play and were always looking for dolphins that wanted to engage. Dolphins are emotional animals, and it seemed like they didn't want to do anything that would upset them; they wanted the dolphins to have fun too. I think many companies conduct dolphin tours just as a business, but I was really happy as a dolphin lover to see that the captain and Daisuke truly love dolphins and respect and care for them while conducting the tour. The bottlenose dolphins I saw underwater were so cute, gentle, and divine, and while I was underwater, it felt like time was flowing very slowly. So, I will participate again, and I look forward to it then.

高齢の母との参加だったので、母も私も行く前は本当に大丈夫かとっても不安だったのですが、ガイドのダイスケさんの優しいエスコートのおかげで、シュノーケリング初体験の母も何度もイルカをみることができました！！
ほかの皆さんのご迷惑になるのでは？と潜ることに躊躇する母をキャプテンの縄田さんは、「お母さん、迷惑なんて思っちゃだめだ。大丈夫だから。だいすけについていけばいいだけなんだから。せっかくこのツアーに参加したんだからもっとイルカをみなくちゃ！」と励ましてくれて、ダイスケさんも「大丈夫です。僕がついてます！」と言ってくれ、何度もトライすることができました。大人数のツアーだったら、きっと母なんてほっとかれていたと思うんです。。でも、なんとかしてお客様を喜ばせたい！イルカと逢わせたい！！というダイスケさんとキャプテンの熱意と優しさがとても伝わってきました。

船に弱いので船酔いも心配だったのですが、大丈夫でした。
波も穏やかだったのかもしれませんが、ラフティングをするボートを大きくしたような形状だったので、水面を滑るように進み、船特有の揺れがあまりなかったのがよかったのだと思います。でも、船酔いが心配な人は酔い止めは飲んでいったほうがいいと思います。酔ったら、楽しめないですからね。

このツアーは、ガイドのダイスケさん、キャプテンの縄田さんのハワイの海への愛、イルカへの愛、お客さんへの愛がたくさん詰まったツアーでした。

実は、私が参加した日はキャプテンも驚くくらいイルカに会えず、、もうだめか、、と思っているときにバンドウイルカを発見し、トライすることができました！！だいぶ時間も押してしまいましたが、キャプテンたちの心意気で本当に時間ぎりぎりまで遊ぶことができました！！
本当にありがとうございます！！

また、イルカに対しても深い愛を感じることができました。遊びたくなさそうなイルカは深追いせず、遊んでくれそうなイルカを終始探していました。イルカも感情がある動物ですので、イルカが嫌がることはしたくない、イルカにも楽しんでいほしいと考えているように映りました。イルカツアーをただ商売としてやっている会社も多いと思いますが、キャプテンとダイスケさんはイルカのことが大好きでイルカのことも尊重し大事に考えながら、ツアーを催行してくれているんだなーとイルカ好きな私としてはとっても嬉しく思いました。
いろんなイルカツアーに参加しましたが、このツアーが一番「愛」を感じたツアーでした。

水中でみるバンドウイルカはとてもかわいくて、優しくて、神々しくて、水中にいる間、なんだかとっても時間がゆっくり流れているように感じました。イルカの住んでいる世界にちょっとお邪魔させてもらった、そんな感じです。本当に素晴らしい経験をさせてもらいました。
今度は、イルカの大群が見たいです！クジラも見たいです！
というわけで、また参加しますので、そのときはまたどうぞよろしくお願いします。

最後に、キャプテン、ダイスケさん、本当にありがとうございました！！母は日本に帰ってから、この体験を自慢げにいろんな人に話しています。本当に楽しかったんだと思います。子供のようにはしゃぐ母をみれて私も本当にうれしく思います。本当にありがとうございました！

I signed up for this tour because I was with my mother-in-law. It was an English tour, and I was happy that the crew took care of us. However, the water in October was cold, and there were some waves. Additionally, there weren't many fish, and there weren't many dolphins either. You can swim in the sea, but I think snorkeling might not be that great.

Since coming to the Big Island, I suddenly decided to check this site from their homepage. The deciding factor was, without a doubt, the excellent reputation of the staff! If you're visiting the Kona side of the Big Island, this dinner cruise is a MUST! It has it all: beautiful coastal views as you sail down to the Captain Cook monument, knowledgable guide who provides interesting historical information about the island (my husband and I love to learn new things), friendly/service-oriented staff, great dinner buffet, and a free premium drink! It was so relaxing and not too short of a cruise (but also not too long). We had a great time! Definitely would do it again.

About a month ago, on September 19, I participated in the tour. I actually misunderstood the reservation date, and although the actual reservation was for September 18, I was kindly assisted over the phone and was able to change it to the following day when there happened to be an opening. Despite the inconvenience I caused, I was very happy to participate in the tour the next day.

As for the dolphins, they were even more amazing than I had imagined! I dove a total of 7 to 8 times, and I only missed seeing the dolphins once! I was even able to see the rare spinner dolphin, which is typically only spotted about once a month, and I was truly moved. Those who have participated in similar tours on Oahu praised the Big Island, saying it is incomparable.

The guide led us close enough to touch the dolphins if we had the chance, allowing us to feel their presence more than I had expected.

Regarding the equipment and supplies, they provided prescription snorkeling goggles and wetsuits, and for those who are not confident swimmers, they offered flotation devices, so I believe even those who are anxious about entering the water can participate in the tour with peace of mind. Of course, the captain and guide provided very thorough explanations in advance, so I had no feelings of anxiety at all.

There were various aspects, but I truly had the best time participating in this tour. Thank you so much for making my dream come true!!!

実は予約を1日勘違いしてしまい、実際の予約日は9月18日だったにも
かかわらず、電話で丁寧にご対応いただき、偶然空きのあった翌日に
変更していただけました。
ご迷惑をおかけしたにもかかわらず、翌日はとても快くツアーに参加させて
いただき、本当にうれしく思いました。

イルカですが、想像以上にすごかったです！！
合計で7～8回ダイブをし、その内イルカを見逃したのは何と1回のみ！
しかも月に1回くらいしか見ることのできないという、マダライルカも
見ることができ、本当に感動しました。
過去にオアフ島で同じようなツアーに参加された方も、ハワイ島はオアフ島とは
比べ物にならないと絶賛されていました。

ガイドの方がチャンスがあれば、一人ずつイルカが触れるくらいの距離まで
手を引いて誘導してくださるので、想像以上にイルカの迫力を感じることが
出来ました。

機材・備品などに関しても、シュノーケリングゴーグルの度付きのものや
ウエットスーツを貸し出してくださり、泳ぎの苦手な方には浮き輪のようなものを使用させていただけるので、海に入ることに対して不安を抱いている方も
安心してツアーに参加ができると思いました。
もちろん、キャプテンとガイドの方から事前にとても丁寧な説明があるので
全く不安感はありませんでした。

色々とございましたが、今回このツアーに参加出来て本当に最高でした。
夢をかなえていただき、本当に有難うございました！！！

I was a bit anxious because I don't have much confidence in swimming, but our guide, Daisuke, took care of me and others who were not great swimmers, allowing us to see the dolphins up close. Daisuke really loves dolphins, and it was clear he wanted to share that passion with the tour participants.

Additionally, since the tour used a rubber boat, everyone could quickly get into the water, which meant we had fewer missed opportunities when dolphins swam by, and we were able to see them multiple times. I participated because I really wanted to see dolphins in Hawaii for the first time. I even got to see a baby dolphin, and snorkeling was comfortable. The ocean was so beautiful and enjoyable that I lost track of time. However, I wonder if it was because I couldn't sleep the night before? I got really seasick (￣O￣;).

If there's a next time, I want to participate after getting a good night's sleep (￣^￣)ゞ.

I really saw dolphins passing right by! They were mating in front of us. There were also a mother and her baby. Of course, we could see them clearly and hear their sounds. I was very satisfied. This is a great day for an experienced snorkler and, at the same time, individuals less confident in the water. An abundence of sea life, including a manta, a great beach and beautiful vista were all part of the experience. Followed by a smooth but good sail home, it was enough but not too much for a first morning after a late arrival. Food good, crew great and helpful, equipment good and boat comfortable - great for the activity type and well maintained. All in all, a very good experience.

Swimming with dolphins has been a dream of mine for a long time. I finally participated in the long-awaited tour. I arrived at the location by rental car without getting lost. After receiving a thorough briefing from the captain and guide, we set sail!

There were only four participants that day. Usually, there are about ten people, so I felt lucky to have a smaller group! This meant we could enter the water more times than usual. There were even some strong adventurers who joined us from Oahu for a day trip.

We spotted a pod of dolphins! Time to enter the water. The sea had exceptional clarity! According to the guide, such clarity is rare. I felt fortunate today, sensing something special was about to happen. We positioned ourselves ahead of the dolphins' path and waited. The dolphins approached leisurely from a distance, and the pod passed right in front of me! I had been waiting for this moment! I could hear the dolphins' sounds, and it felt like we were connecting.

That day, I was even luckier to encounter a group of 300 to 400 dolphins! The guide mentioned that this is also quite rare. To top it off, we encountered a manta ray! I even got to see the collaboration between the manta ray and the dolphins! I was once again moved by the grandeur of Hawaii's nature. I was fortunate enough to have the best experience that day. Thank you to the captain and the guide!

If I have the chance again, I would like to try snorkeling and dive a bit more to swim with the dolphins. A waterproof camera is definitely a must!

現地にレンタカーで参加したが特に迷うことなく到着。
キャプテン、ガイドの方から丁寧なレクチャーを受けていざ出航！
その日の参加メンバは全体で4名。いつもなら10名ほどいらっしゃるようですが、
人数が少なくてラッキー！通常よりエントリーする本数が多くできるとのこと。
オアフから日帰りで参加している強者の方も。。

イルカの群れを発見！いざエントリー。
海は抜群の透明度！ガイドさん曰くこれほどの透明度はめったにないとのこと。
今日は運に恵まれて何かよさそうな予感。
イルカの通り道を先回りして待機・・。イルカが遠くからゆったりと近づいてきて
イルカの群れが自分のすぐ目の前を通過！この瞬間を待ってました！
イルカの声も聞け、まるでイルカと通じ合った気分になりました。

その日はさらに幸運なことに300〜400の群れに遭遇！これまためったにないとのこと。
さらにさらにマンタのレフティと遭遇！マンタとイルカのコラボレーションも見れちゃいました！
ハワイの自然の雄大さに改めて感動を受けました。
当日は幸運にも恵まれ最高の体験になりました。
キャプテン、ガイドさん、ありがとうございました！

また機会があれば今度はシュノーケルでもうちょと潜れるようになってイルカと一緒に泳いでみたいと思います。あと防水カメラ必須ですね。

I participated with three friends (*^^*)
None of us could actually swim! We thought we could manage since we had wetsuits. It had been two years since I last went to the ocean, and when I finally got in, I panicked and started to drown. However, Mr. Nawata quickly noticed I was in trouble, and Daisuke, the swimming specialist, came to my rescue (>_<). I really didn't know what to do, but Daisuke stayed by my side and gradually helped me calm down. By the time I returned to the boat, I thought I wouldn't go back into the ocean again. But then I realized that it would be a shame to leave without seeing the dolphins, thanks to the encouragement from Mr. Nawata and Daisuke. Honestly, I was really scared of the ocean. However, Daisuke stayed close to me and worked hard to take me near the dolphins!! Thanks to Daisuke, I was able to see the dolphins up close!! They came so close that I could almost reach out and touch them (>∀<). I truly felt it was a miracle to see the dolphins so near!! My heart was filled with emotion!! Furthermore, I could hear their sounds when they were close by!! It really healed my heart!! The dolphins lifted my spirits! I had a few opportunities to snorkel, and by the end, I was able to swim in the ocean by myself! I was surprised at myself!! The joy of meeting the dolphins far outweighed my fear of the ocean!!
I think participating in this dolphin option was the best experience! I believe it was because of Mr. Nawata and Daisuke that they noticed and helped me immediately when I was drowning, and they taught me the joy of swimming with dolphins!! I think even those who are not confident in swimming can participate with peace of mind! If you want to see dolphins even a little, why not give it a try? It will change your perspective immensely! ｳｪｯﾄｽｰﾂがあるからなんとかなるかと軽い気持ちで参加しました。2年ぶりという久しぶりの海でいざ海に入ったら、パニックになり溺れてしまいました。ですが、縄田さんが溺れているのをすぐに発見してくれて、泳ぎのｽﾍﾟｼｬﾘｽﾄのﾀﾞｲｽｹさんが助けてくれました(>_<)本当にどうしたらいいかわかんなくなっていましたが、ﾀﾞｲｽｹさんが常に一緒にいてくれて徐々に落ち着くことができました。落ち着いてから船に戻った時には、実はもう海に入らないと思いました。ですが、縄田さんとﾀﾞｲｽｹさんが励ましてくれたことと、イルカを見えないで帰るなんてあっちゃいけないことだと思いました。本当はすごい海が怖かったです。でも、ずっとﾀﾞｲｽｹさんがそばにいてくれてイルカの近くまで一生懸命連れていってくれました！！ﾀﾞｲｽｹさんのおかげで、間近でイルカを見ることができました！！本当に手の届く距離まで、イルカが近くにきてくれました(>∀<)イルカが近くに見えるなんて本当に奇跡なことだと思いしました！！感動で胸がいっぱいになりました！！更に、イルカが近くにいると鳴き声が聞こえました！！本当に本当に心が癒されました！！イルカに心を元気にしてもらいました！何度かｼｭﾉｰｹﾙをする機会があるのですが、後半には一人で海に入って泳げるようになっていました！自分でもビックリしました！！イルカに会えることの嬉しさが、海の怖さよりも遥かに上回っていました！！
今回のイルカのｵﾌﾟｼｮﾝに参加できたことは最高なことだと思っています！縄田さん、ﾀﾞｲｽｹさんだからこそ、溺れたときにすぐに気付き助けてくれて、イルカと泳げる喜びを教えてくれたと思っています！！泳ぎに自信のない人も安心して参加できると思います！自信がなくても、少しでもイルカに会ってみたいという人は参加してみたらどうですか？世界観がすごく変わります！縄田さんとﾀﾞｲｽｹさんならきっと素晴らしい思い出にしてくれると思います(^o^)/

On my first visit to Hawaii, I thought I couldn't miss the dolphin swimming tour, so I checked out tours from other companies and decided to sign up for this one. The meeting point was local, and they provided a detailed map, so I was able to find it without getting lost.

Fortunately, we encountered a pod of dolphins about 15 minutes after the boat departed... it was an emotional moment. After the pod passed by, we were able to get ahead of them and greet the dolphins again, and we did this five times. We could see the dolphins at a distance that felt almost within reach; it was truly like swimming with them.

Our guide, Dai, really conveyed his love for dolphins, which was evident throughout the tour. It goes without saying that the captain's keen eye and steering skills helped us encounter the pod. Since I was wearing a wetsuit, I ended up floating on the surface, so next time I participate, I would like to swim a bit without a wetsuit during warmer weather. I bragged about this experience to my friends back in Japan.

This was the first luau any of us had ever been to. It was an awesome dinner and show. They weren't stingy on the alcohol and everyone was very nice. A highlight of the show was the guy that juggled knives while they were on fire. After the show, the dancers came out to meet and take pictures! I would definitely recommend this show to anyone!

I was only worried about the fact that I can't swim, but I thought it would be amazing to swim with dolphins, so I decided to participate. Once I joined, my anxiety about not being able to swim disappeared (laughs). Before I knew it, I was swimming farther than everyone else (big laugh) and was completely absorbed in swimming with the dolphins. The excitement I felt when I saw the dolphins underwater for the first time will stay with me forever. I want to go to the Big Island again to participate in this tour. Yes! I participated in a company training trip with two other men, making a group of three. I thought we might stand out a bit, but in the end, we had an amazing time. The dandy captain and the handsome instructor really lightened the mood and made the atmosphere enjoyable for our group of about ten people.

We got to see dolphins up close multiple times, and the three of us were super moved. We promised each other that next time we would come with our families or partners (laughs).

Even three scruffy guys can have fun on this tour. I highly recommend it!

The staff members were wonderful. I was very impressed by their proactive support for elderly participants and children. They made sure each participant felt satisfied by bringing us close to the dolphins, saying things like, "You were really close just now, [Name]!" The teamwork was outstanding, with Maddy on the boat loudly informing us, "They are coming toward us from 20 meters away." It was heartwarming to see how much they love dolphins and enjoy their work, conveying their desire for participants to experience this joy.

Meeting so many dolphins up close felt like a dream.

It was so much fun that I participated again during my stay. Mr. Nawata mentioned, "The last time was so great, so don't expect too much this time," but the second time exceeded the first! Right beneath us, a pod of 5 to 6 dolphins danced multiple times. At one point, our swim guide Daisuke joined in on the dolphins' play. It was a very happy sight to witness.

The boat swaying felt like an attraction and was enjoyable, but for those who are not confident with even a little motion, I recommend taking motion sickness medication in advance. It's a wonderful opportunity, after all.

　あまりに楽しかったので、滞在中に再び参加しました。縄田さんは、「前回が良すぎだったから、期待しすぎないでねー」とおっしゃっていましたが…、
2回目は1回目以上！
私たちが浮いている真下で、イルカが5～6頭の群れになって何回も踊って（？）いました。
途中からは、スイムガイドのダイスケくんもイルカたちの遊びに加わっていました。
見ていて、とても幸せな光景でした。

　船が揺れてアトラクションみたいで楽しいのですが、
少しでも揺れに自信がない方は、酔い止めの薬を事前に飲まれることを
おすすめします。せっかくの楽しい機会なので…。

We participated as a family with our three children, aged 11, 8, and 5.

The snorkeling location was quite deep (over 10-15 meters?), and since our youngest child couldn't swim, we had some concerns. However, they provided children's life jackets, and with the floaties we brought, the kids were able to float and enjoy themselves. The older two were initially scared, but as they got used to it, they enjoyed snorkeling in the clear sea. The staff were also very friendly, and the freshly made hamburgers were delicious. We even got to see dolphins along the way, making it a very satisfying tour overall.

Since the boat ride to the snorkeling location is quite long, it's advisable for those prone to seasickness to take motion sickness medication beforehand (the older child got seasick). If you have small children, bringing floaties would enhance their enjoyment as well.

Despite a few challenges, it was a very enjoyable tour, and I can definitely recommend it for families.

It was my first dolphin tour on the Big Island. I had tried three times on Oahu, but I wasn't lucky with the weather, so this was my fourth attempt!

It was absolutely amazing!! From the moment we got in, we could see dolphins up close! Even without searching hard, dolphins were swimming nearby, and it was so moving! I could hear their sounds the whole time!

Compared to Oahu, the travel time on the boat was shorter, and we didn't have to get on and off the boat multiple times. Dolphins kept coming to the same spot, so it felt like we could see them the whole time we were swimming.

Even if you're not a strong swimmer, they lend you a noodle, and the guide, Daisuke, pulls you to the dolphins, so it's very reassuring! Daisuke's dolphin talks during the car ride were also a lot of fun and really added to the tour! (By a strange twist of fate, he even shared some local stories!)

I definitely want to go back to the Big Island for this tour again! Thank you, Captain and Daisuke!!

We participated as a couple in our 40s, with a child and my mother in her 70s who cannot speak English. The boat has two levels; the first floor has shaded areas and tables, but all the seats were "reserved," making it difficult to find a place to sit. We were the only Japanese family, and all announcements were in English. There was one men's restroom, one women's restroom, and one unisex restroom.

When we first arrived, there was a small breakfast buffet with about two types of muffin-like bread and fruit. Water, coffee, and soft drinks were free, but alcohol cost extra.

Right after departure, we were able to see a pod of dolphins swimming quite close to us, which was thrilling. There were no sea turtles, but flying fish were gliding through the air like birds, which was exciting! Upon reaching the snorkeling point, everyone gathered on the first floor for a detailed safety briefing about the snorkeling area. There seemed to be a class for those snorkeling for the first time. Unlike Japanese snorkeling tours, there was no selection of fins or goggles; it was self-service. Most people swam without lifeguards, so the number of lifeguards was limited, but there were long styrofoam rods that everyone seemed to hold onto while swimming.

For lunch, there was a buffet with bread, hamburgers, vegetables, and fruits, where we could take our favorite ingredients and make our own sandwiches. It was very delicious under the blue sky.

I thought we would arrive at the port by 12:30, but that was actually the end time for snorkeling. The water temperature was not too low, and the sea was deep, allowing us to see many fish. 出発してすぐにドルフィンの群れを見る事ができました。かなり近くまで泳いできてくれて感激。ウミガメはいませんでした。でもトビウオが鳥みたいにスイスイ飛んでいて感激！ポイントに到着し、全員1階に集合して、シュノーケルで泳いでいいエリア、安全確認の綿密な説明を受けます。シュノーケル初めての人のための教室もあったようです。日本のシュノーケルツアーのようにフィンやゴーグルを選んでくれることもなくセルフサービスです。ほとんとの人がライフセーバーなしで泳ぐので、ライフセーバーの数も限られていますが、ライフセーバーの代わりに細長いスチロール棒があり、これにつかまって皆泳いでいたようです。
ランチは、パン、ハンバーグ、野菜、果物などがバイキング形式に並んでいて、好きな具を自分で取ってはさんで食べる方式でした。青い空の下、とてもおいしいお味でした。
12時半に港に着くのかと思っていたら、シュノーケル終了が12時半でした。水温もそれほど低くなく、海が深くてたくさんの魚を見る事ができました。港に戻る途中、またイルカの群れを見る事ができて感激しました。参加している外国の人たちも、気さくに声をかけてくださったり、特に驚いたのは、英語が全然できなくておろおろしている母に、お客さん達が優しく接してくださり順番を譲ってくださったりしたことです。こういった外国の文化は本当に素晴らしいと思いました。ちなみに高齢の母は、泳がずにずっと船の上にいましたが、気兼ねなく楽しかったと話していました。ツアーが終わって、港の停泊所にはたくさんの屋台？のような小物のお店が軒を連ねていて、以前から欲しかったコナコーヒーのバッグを思いがけず購入することができ、二度特でした。申し込む前は不安でいっぱいでしたが、また参加したいです。
