Couldn't as for a better way to end the day. The setting perfect, the crew helpful and friendly, the narrative informative, the music the perfect backdrop for the evening. The food plentiful and wonderful. We had a few pleasant surprises along the way. We were entertained by a school of sinner dolphins going and coming, as well as seeing a flying fish or two. A good time was had by all, given the chance I'd do it all again.

On the day we arrived on the Big Island, I was anxious about whether we would make it in time since we had a reservation, but I was relieved to see that there was still a line even at the start time. The show, which began with the ocean and sunset as a backdrop, was filled with a natural atmosphere where everyone, including the guests, seemed to be enjoying themselves. The hula dance was, of course, impressive, and the fire show was breathtaking. I was also a bit concerned about the restrooms, but the toilets on the first floor of the hotel were comfortable to use. I thought it could be a bit cheaper, possibly due to the weak yen, but overall, I was satisfied.

It's no surprise that the Big Island is called Hawaii Island! Seeing Kilauea Volcano and Waipi'o Valley from the sky, I was overwhelmed by the greatness of nature and the majesty of the land. While the roads weave through the volcanic terrain and renting a car for sightseeing is a good option, I highly recommend taking an aerial tour, even though it may be a bit costly.

Kilauea Volcano, where you can witness the Earth's breath (smoke) up close, along with the green valleys and various waterfalls created by nature, is truly breathtaking.

You too will surely develop a sense of awe for nature and find yourself immersed in the beauty of Hawaii Island.

Unfortunately, I couldn't understand much of the guide's commentary due to the foreign pilot, but just watching the scenery from above made the 40 minutes fly by, and I had a wonderful time.

I've been to the Big Island several times and always stay at the Kinkame Hotel, so I decided to participate this time... First, after checking in, we lined up at the gathering place for the luau. The gathering was at 4:30, but by 4:00, there were already about six people in line. Right after we lined up, many more started to join, and by the gathering time, there was a long queue. At that time, they asked if we wanted to pay an extra $20; if you said "NO," you stayed as you were. If you said "YES," you were directed to the upgrade line. After that, they started to offer various add-ons, like buying leis. Then, during the photo session, they would come around to sell you photos at your seats later on, which was also about $20. After the photos, we walked over to the luau area. The seats in front of the stage were occupied by those who had paid the extra fee (about ten rows of 18 people each), and we were directed to the rows behind them (the back rows had about 20 blocks of 18 people). However, even those who paid extra but arrived late were only one seat away from ours, so it didn't seem to matter much. We were seated before 5:00, but there was still about two hours until the luau show started; those who paid extra went first to get their food, and after about 200 people finished at the buffet, there was a specific order to follow, so by the time we went to get our food... After a long wait, the show finally started, but there were only about six dancers, so after each song, we had to listen to the host's singing and talking for a while (15 to 20 minutes of changing costumes). There was also a mysterious dance time to the songs... Foreigners might find it fun, but... Anyway, the show dragged on with long intervals, and the food was mediocre; spending $91 on this was truly a waste. By the way, we reached our limit and left midway. I won't be going again.

ハワイ島には何度か来ていて、いつもキンカメホテルに滞在するので今回参加しましたが・・・まず受付後はルアウの集合場所に並びます。４時半に集合ですが４時ですでに６人ほど並んでいました。私たちが並んだ直後から沢山並び始め集合時間には行列に。そして、その時＋２０ドルくらい払うか聞かれ【NO】ならそのまま。【YES】ならランクアップの列に通されます。そしてその後レイを買うか等。。色々＋を勧めて来ます。そして、記念撮影タイムでこちらは後程席まで売りに来ます。これも確か２０ドルくらいです。撮影後ぞろぞろ歩いてルアウの場所へ。そこで舞台前の席は先ほど＋を払った方々が座り（前席1ブロック１８人の列が約１０）並んだ順でその後ろの列に通されました（後ろの席は１ブロック１８人が２０くらいあります）。ただ＋払った人でも来るのが遅かった人は私たちの席と１つしか変わらないのであまり意味無いかな？と思います。席に着いたのが５時前でそこからルアウショーが始まるまで約２時間もありました；食事は＋を払った方が先に取りに行くシステムで２００人がビュッフェを取り終えた後に更にこの列・この列みたいに順番があるのでビュッフェを取りに行った頃には・・・・。そして長い待ち時間のあとやっとショーが始まるのですが、ダンサーが６人くらいしか居ないので１曲踊り終えると必ず進行係の歌やトークをしばらく聞かされます（１５分～２０分着替えの時間稼ぎですね；）。そして謎にその歌に合わせてダンスタイム等があり・・・。外国の方は楽しいと思いますが・・・。とにかくダラダラとショーの間隔が長いうえ、食事も微妙、これで９１ドルは本当にもったいないです。ちなみに限界が来て私たちは途中で退室しました。二度と行きませんね。

The crew was good and friendly. Despite informing them about our dietery restrictions a week before the cruise, they forgot to prepare any vegetarian food. The crew quickly threw together salad for us on board, but it was a lot of money for salad. The crews were friendly otherwise. good music...

We were seated at 5 PM, and the actual show started around 7 PM. Until then, we enjoyed drinks, hula experiences, and traditional Hawaiian cuisine. The show featured not only hula but also dances from other islands like Samoa. Between the dances, there were talks and songs from the host, and I thought it might have been more enjoyable if I understood a bit more English. The time flowed leisurely, and depending on the seats, you might not be very close to the stage, so small children might get bored.

Show: Overall, it was great. The female dancers were very graceful, and I was captivated by them. Unfortunately, I couldn't understand the host's jokes because I don't speak English, which was disappointing. The foreigners around me seemed to be enjoying it and laughing.

Food & Drinks: There were more options than I expected, and the food was quite tasty. The Mai Tai and Lava Flow were delicious. It was an all-you-can-drink, but since I can't drink much... I didn't really feel the benefits of the premium seats. I think it's perfectly fine to go early and get seats in the front row of the regular section. The show does pause several times before it gets dark. If you time it right around sunset, you can go to the left side of the stage near the fence, where you can see the ocean and take beautiful sunset photos through the palm trees!

ショー：全体的に良かったです。ダンサーの女性達がとても優雅で見惚れました。英語が解らなかったので、司会の方のジョークが理解出来ず、残念。周りの外人さん達はウケてて楽しそうでした。料理・ドリンク：想像より種類もあり、普通に美味しかったです。マイタイ・ラバフローが美味しかったです。飲み放題でしたが、そんなに飲めない方なので・・・。プレミアムシートのメリットは特に感じませんでした。早い時間に行って、普通席の前列をゲットでぜんぜん良いと思います。ショーは、暗くなるまでに何度か中断します。サンセットタイムで日の入りが近くなった頃を見計らい、ステージに向かって左側のフェンスの方まで行くと海が見え、ヤシの木越しの とても綺麗なサンセットの写真が撮れますよ♪

I have a fear of heights, so I was hesitant at first, but I'm really glad I participated. I was able to enjoy the ocean, islands, volcanoes, and valleys from angles I had never seen before. Especially around the volcano, I could feel the heat from the ground, which I think is a unique experience of the Big Island. I definitely want to participate again!

The receptionist felt sorry and changed my reservation to a dinner cruise starting later that night, but it was a few hours later, and since I wanted to go whale watching, it felt like a waste. It was disappointing.

My wife and I decided to take our children, their spouses and all the grandchildren on a family vacation to Hawaii. I remembered the nice welcome we had on our first vacation to Hawaii shortly after we were married, and I thought it would be nice to give the whole family a similar experience. Once I found someone to direct me to a possible website, the process was straight forward and easy. What I was looking for was being offered at a discount, and the price seemed right. The instructions were easy to follow, but without mentioning anything to the family, our grandchildren happened to find people holding up our sign first. The hostesses were ready for us with 10 aloha welcomes and beautiful orchid leis (of which 3 were upgraded further, for the mothers). The kids were all pleased and our youngest wore here lei as part of a hairpiece a few days later and it was still looking good. Maybe this isn't needed on each trip to Hawaii, but I'm sure glad I arranged this as a first-time welcome for the grandchildren and their parents. Thanks again for making everything special for our family.

I did this tour on my 60th birthday. It was the best experience of my life! The helicopter pilot, Marko, was knowledgeable as well as entertaining. We saw the amazingly varied terrain of the Big Island but the best was seeing the Kilauea Caldera and lava pool as well as places where the lava was slowing flowing. The Kohala area was unbelievably beautiful. A bonus - the great coffee made by Marko at the midway stop. I would highly recommend this tour especially if your time in Hawaii is limited and you want to see it all in comfort.

On the day of my arrival in Hawaii, I was feeling jet-lagged and didn't have the energy to move around, so I decided to stay at the King Kamehameha Hotel. At first, it was enjoyable, but as the evening progressed, it got a bit chilly for the beach show, and the food was just average. I started to get bored with the show. The dancing was beautiful, but the time spent listening to the host talk while the dancers changed backstage was very dull. I guess it really is a language barrier...

I hesitated because the price was high, but I heard that if the volcanic activity is not active, I wouldn't be able to see a volcano erupting lava even if I took the time to walk there, so I chose to take a helicopter.

In fact, I was able to see the bubbling lava from above the crater.

In the ocean, I also saw a mother whale and her calf.

Flying through the valley of Waipi'o Valley in the helicopter was very mystical and wonderful. It was a unique experience that only a helicopter can provide, and I really enjoyed it.

Absolutely incredible tour that was tailored to those on the boat...not a canned presentation. I highly recommend this tour. The captain and the whale expert (Denver) were exceptional. I never thought that I would learn this much about whales and be so close to them!
