It was a large boat, so I didn't mind the rocking. It probably depends on the sea conditions, but last year, when my mother participated in a different tour, she got seasick and had to sit out. This time, she finished her hamburger for lunch. At the snorkeling point, we encountered a sea turtle. On the way back, dolphins chased the boat.

I recommend the pricing for accompanying passengers. Even if snorkeling isn't possible, it's great for families who want to enjoy cruising together.

There were interesting parts, like digging up the pig, but the prices felt too high. The fire dance at Fukushima's Hawaiians is much better. The food wasn't delicious. Also, it rained during our visit, and we got soaked. The hotel parking is only free for three hours. If it were around 5,000 yen, I could somewhat recommend it.

I could see how the lava flows that poured into the sea expanded this island. The awe of nature's power is evident. And the black sand beach that formed is perhaps a joke-filled gift from the gods to humanity. Next, at Kobaruyama, time transformed the lava into fertile soil that nurtures lush trees, and erosion created breathtaking canyons and waterfalls that drop 400 meters—these stunning views were experienced by the helicopter guests. Finally, the awareness and proactivity of the island's people in coexisting with the volcanoes, as shared by pilot Mochizuki, will likely stay with me for life, as I lead a rather ordinary existence. Moreover, this first helicopter tour of my life allowed me to witness the Earth's activities from a bird's-eye view. It may sound a bit exaggerated, but it changed my perspective on life.

Also, it costs $210 for a round trip by taxi from Hilton Waikoloa. While I take full responsibility for mistakenly booking this thinking it was a dinner cruise in Oahu, I think it would be considerate to mention the level of rocking and the time and transportation options from each resort to the port.

Not only did I get to see the full view of the Big Island, but I also felt the vibrant life of the island, as if I were watching a movie. The music added to the atmosphere and drew me in even more. It was wonderful how the pilot made sure that everyone could see well from either side. I would love to experience it again if I have the chance.

BIG islandの全貌がわかるだけでなく、島自体の生きている感じが脈々と伝わってきて、まさに映画を観ているようでした。

The time spent flying from the ocean to Waipi'o Valley felt like a transition from reality to a divine world, and I found myself in tears from the beauty of nature. I previously experienced a luau at Hilton Hawaiian Village. There isn't much difference in the size of the seating or the stage. The performances and proceedings are similar, and the announcements are only in English, which made the excitement among the few Japanese travelers, including myself, somewhat lacking.

This time, my spouse and I used the premium seats, located in the second row from the front center of the stage (my wife's head is in the photo), while I was in the third row. These seats are right up close and provide an impressive view. After check-in, we were welcomed with leis and were guided to our seats, where we picked up our favorite drinks along the way. I went with a Mai Tai again this time. At the long table, about six people share taro chips, edamame, and jerky, allowing us to enjoy some time before the meal began. Additionally, this seating includes butler service (they frequently take drink orders), and drinks are all-you-can-drink, including alcohol. I ordered four cocktails, including Blue Hawaii, using a photo menu with Japanese explanations on the table. The glasses are large. The buffet food is also satisfying, on par with what you would find in Honolulu. The desserts here are especially recommended; the variety, taste, and presentation were all excellent. However, my stomach was already at capacity...

The premium seats are more expensive compared to general seating, but if you're going all the way to Hawaii Island to see a luau, it's definitely worth the splurge.

I had heard that I could request a Japanese pilot, but from pick-up to boarding, everything was in English, which was quite confusing for us as a couple who are not proficient in English. Fortunately, the pilot was a veteran Japanese pilot, and there were Japanese announcements at key points, plus he spoke English slowly, which was helpful. After takeoff, I was continuously moved to the point of forgetting the passage of time. Although we couldn't see the red lava flowing due to the activity of Kilauea Volcano calming down, I was amazed by the pilot's skill in landing effortlessly in a narrow area that was hardly different from the rotor's rotation range. It was a valuable experience that cannot be fully expressed just through personal accounts and images. While it's not a price that can be easily afforded, if you have the financial means, this is definitely a tour you should try.

I planned to arrive 15 minutes before the opening, as I heard that this show tends to get quite crowded. However, the "Kamehameha Court" is located beyond the "Lagoon Tower," which is the farthest from the "Ocean Tower" where I'm staying. Even using the tram, it's best to allow at least 15 minutes for the journey.

Thanks to arriving early, I was able to secure a seat right in the middle, which offered the best view. (By the way, I booked a standard seat.)

I believe the show is the "Tropical Show" held at "Spa Resort Hawaiian," which I saw in a TV commercial before.

If you don't have a relaxed attitude of "enjoying the show while having a meal," some people might end up disappointed. I thought, "In any case, I'm going to have a meal, so I can enjoy a drink without my wife nagging me!" The participation fee is also quite high, so it varies depending on each person's style.

『食事を摂りながらショーも楽しむ！』ぐらいのおおらかさがないと、失望される方もいらっしゃるのではないでしょうか？
私は、『何れにせよ食事も摂るのだし、家内にぐだぐだ言われすにお酒が飲める！』との考えでした。
参加費用も高いので、各々のスタイルにより変わってくると思います。

Around mid to late March seems to be the end of the season, so it might be that there are many instances where you can't see them.

We’ve taken this cruise several times and love it every time! The food is excellent, the crew is so accommodating, the music is relaxing and Captain Rick is the best. The water was a little ruff so the crew waited on us hand and foot. Captain Rick was funny and went further out in the ocean to avoid a rain shower on the way back so everyone didn’t get soaked. Oh! And Boyd is full of history stories about the island. We strongly recommend this dinner cruise for everyone. There were 2 elderly people on the cruise and the crew got them on board and to their seat safely. We would rather take this cruise then go to a luau. Great job Body Glove!

This was our first trip to Hawaii with my husband and his parents. We made a reservation here to experience the Hawaiian atmosphere on our first day. It's a buffet style, and it gets a bit crowded at first, but it's manageable after a short wait. The ahi poke was delicious. There are two drink stations: one at the back of the buffet line and another to the right of the stage. If you go further back from the drink counter on the right side of the stage around sunset, you can see a wonderful sunset. (There are also ashtrays in that area.) Overall, I thought it was a bit pricey, so I gave it three stars. I felt it would cost around 10,000 yen based on my experience in Japan.

夫と夫の両親4人での初ハワイ。
初日にハワイらしさを味わおうとこちらを予約しました。
ブッフェ形式で、はじめは多少混みますが少し待てば大丈夫。
アヒポケが美味しかったです。
飲み物はブッフェ台の並び奥とステージに向かって右側と２箇所にありますが、夕陽が沈む頃にステージ右の飲み物カウンターの前をさらに奥に進むと素晴らしい夕陽が見られます。（そしてその辺りに灰皿もあります。）
全体的には少々お高いかな？と思ったので★３つ。
日本にいる時の感覚では１万円するかしないか位だと思いました。
