awesome place to learn to surf!
Reviewed by: hkr, 2015/01/18The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We had a brief lesson in the classroom where the lady that checked us in gave us a brief history of their operations and then explained the does and don'ts of surfing. We practiced the three steps to stand up a few times in the classroom then sent us to the beach that's an easy 4mi straight down alii dr. Just as we left, the other couple that was supposed to be in our group arrived (a half hour late). The instructor was very friendly to them even though the girl was acting like being late was somehow the instructors fault. We went to the beach where we met the water instructors and waited for the other couple to finish the classroom session. The instructors were super friendly and answered any questions we could think to ask them. When the other couple arrived, the fun began. There was only one couple per instructor, and they had us standing within minutes! They also made sure we got a full 2 hours of water time (and maybe a smidge extra) despite the other couple's delay. Great experience, highly recomend!

Hawaii Lifeguard Surf Instructors - Kona Private & Semi-Private Surfing Lessons
TWO THUMBS UP for Lifeguard Surf Instructors
Reviewed by: Michael, 2015/01/10Our family of six (6) spent ten days on the Big Island. On Friday morning, one of our three boys told us how cool it would be to learn how to surf. That was all the incentive his mother needed to commence her Google search for the best firm to school her three sons (ages 22, 26 and 29) on surfing. She started calling on Friday morning at 8:00 o’clock with all of the places informing her that it would be Monday before they would have a spot for the three boys. The lone exception was Life Guard Surf Instructors. This family owned surf instruction firm took the information about our three (3) sons and arranged to have another instructor come in to give our sons a group lesson, which occurred within three (3) hours of when we initially called.
When we arrived they receive a thorough briefing about what was in store for everyone when they got into the water. This was extremely important since one of our sons has some learning difficulties and is very uncomfortable if there are things that he will be expected to do and he is not warned about them in advance. When we reached the place where the water instruction was to take place, to our surprise, our son who has the learning difficulty was given one on one instruction from one of the Owner family members. He thoroughly enjoyed himself. Our other sons also had a great time. We would highly recommend Life Guard Surf Instructors to everyone who wants their children to be instructed by highly trained and caring instructors.

Reviewed by: kato, 2015/01/04シングルフライトを希望したいたのですが、順番が最後で桟橋へ戻る時間が迫っていたせいか聞き入れられずタンデムフライトにされてしまった。時間もタンデムの１２分より短かった気がします、、、。
高所からのコナの景色は爽快かつすごく静かで良かったが、３６６メートルの割に高さは思った程ではなかった様な、、、？ だけどやっぱり良い体験になりました！

Hawaii Lifeguard Surf Instructors - Kona Private & Semi-Private Surfing Lessons
So much fun!
Reviewed by: Sarah and Marc, 2014/12/26Marc and I have never surfed before, so we were slightly scaptical of how much you could learn in 45min theory and one hour in the water. As it turned out, it was totally enough to get the basics and make you feel exhausted (you will be sore the next day, but it is really worth it!). The teachers are awesome, they are very encouraging and positive. It is a really great hawaiian family run company - they just have the natural aloha attitude.They help you picking the right waves and show you how to stand up on the board right away. Of course you will also fall in the water, but eveyone does, so it is just so much fun! We recommend taking a surf lesson with them 100% and would do it again immeadiatly!

鳥になった気分でした!
Reviewed by: masa, 2014/12/02最初は、とても怖くてできないと思っていました。でも。ペアで飛ぶことができるので、思い切って参加しました。参加したのは、アメリカのご夫婦と１０代の娘さんの５人でした。日本語が通じないので、はじめに３人がパラセーリングをしました。そのやり方の説明を見ながら、自分たちの番を待ちました。いよいよ、私たちの番です。見よう見まねで何とか飛び上がりました。見る見るうちに舞い上がり、上空からカイルア・コナの街を見ました。いつも車で走っているアリイ・ドライブ沿いのホテルが見えました。鳥になったようでとても気持ちが良かったです。上がるまでは、とても怖かったですが、上がってしまったらとても楽しくて、最高の気分でした。夫婦一緒にでき、上空でも話をできるのが良かったです。機会があればもう一度やってもいいなぁと思います。

Hawaii Lifeguard Surf Instructors - Kona Private & Semi-Private Surfing Lessons
Best time ever
Reviewed by: Katherina Tcheprasov, 2014/11/25That was my first surfing lesson and I had a great time! The coaches were very nice, helpful and tried hard to choose the best waves for us to go on. We were registered to come in the early morning but they called and told us that there was no wind at the time and no good waves for surfing. Instead they suggested to come a bit later. We arrived later in the day when waves were pretty good. The place is really well suited for starters. I really enjoyed the experience and had a wonderful time surfing! I really recommend this surfing lesson because it was beyond my expectation.
My father asked for advanced board and they easily accommodated his request and helped him to advance to the level of driving such a board.

Hawaii Lifeguard Surf Instructors - Kona Private & Semi-Private Surfing Lessons
Great for Kids
Reviewed by: S. Doyle, 2014/11/23This was my children's first introduction to surfing. I really liked how they could have a private instructor who rode the board with them. My son is 5 and my daughter is 7. She has high functioning autism and struggles with anxiety but she really wanted to give it a try. The instructors were really great with both of our kids. The waves were pretty minimal and we had the option to cancel, but the kids would have been so disappointed so we decided to go anyway. Both kids managed to stand up and my daughter did indeed ride a small wave. The pre-lesson on dry land in the office is really useful, especially since they use visuals which really meets my daughter's learning style. We would love to do this again, and next time mom and dad want to give it a try too.

Keahou Bay Kayak & Snorkel Adventure
Reviewed by: Joleene, 2014/10/27Had a great trip celebrated turning 60 that day would kayak again though the rowing is strenuous. Augustine was my life saver as he helped me back in the kayak when my husband & I tipped over, that was the scariest thing. The two most helpful words were "don't panic" as I was starting to do just that but those words calmed me down. Augustine even retrieved my sunglasses which went 2o' deep. After snorkeling I could not get back in the kayak just don't have the upper body strength though I lift weights 4x's a week. Thanks again to Augustine & Rebecca great tour guides & personable fun people!

絶景です！
Reviewed by: はねみみ, 2014/10/21ハワイ旅行中に、絶対パラセーリングを体験したい！という強い思いから、こちらのツアーに申し込みました。日本語ガイドがいらっしゃらないということでしたので、少し不安でしたが、現地の催行会社の方は日本人観光客に慣れていらっしゃるので、大丈夫でした。
当日はとても、天気がよく、３００メートル上空から、近隣地区一体、どこまでも続く海、ハワイの緩やかな山々…と絶景を楽しむことができ、貴重な体験ができたのではないかと思います。上空はそれほど風が吹いていませんでしたので、３００メートル上空と言っても安定しており、それほど恐怖は感じません。どうしようかな…と迷われている方がいらっしゃいましたら、ぜひトライしてみてくださいませ。私の同行者も絶叫系はダメな方ですが、パラセーリングは楽しんでいました。一生ものの思い出になること間違いなし！またこちらのツアーでは、現地でパラセーリング中の写真撮影を依頼することが可能ですので、お金と笑顔とカメラ目線をお忘れなく。

Fun Experience!
Reviewed by: COgirl, 2014/07/19The Kayak and Snorkel Adventure was great! Our family of 5, including two 10 year olds and a 6 yr old, participated. It was a bit much for our kiddos to paddle the whole way so the majority of the work was on the parents. We were able to get a 3 person kayak for the 6 yr old, a 10 yr old, and a parent. Once we got to the snorkeling location it was fun to snorkel then get out and have fresh pineapple then jump off the cliff into the ocean! The guides were super friendly and very helpful. At times kayaks would fall behind the group and they always had someone who stayed with them just to make sure they were OK. There was never pressure to hurry up, etc. I am giving it a 4 vs. a 5 because we didn't see/go into any sea caves which was one thing we were looking forward to. I would recommend!

Good adventure

We were hoping to see a few more sea caves/lava tubes, and thought we might be able to go in them. We only got to take a look at one sea cave, and we just paddled up to it and looked. The snorkeling was good, and the cliff jump was awesome as well. Well worth the money!

Blue Waters..Great Time

That set the tone for the trip and allowed all of us to relax and have fun. The sea cave was a little disappointing, it was more like a hole in the wall. The snorkeling was wonderful. Don't miss this adventure!

We were both first-timers, and our guide (Tori) did an excellent job explaining how to paddle, safety procedures, etc. if you're like me, you may be thinking, "You all say this is easy...but maybe you're just better at things than I am." Well, trust me: this is easy, fun, and wonderful. The trip was relaxing, and during the snorkeling part we saw lots of fish (yellow tang, parrot fish), an eel, and turtles. Once we got to the cliff and snack area, we also saw a mongoose! A note on the cliff: jump. Seriously, just do it. You will regret it if you don't.
In short, take this adventure! The staff are professional and friendly, and the activity itself is not to be missed. Thank you, Tori, for one of our favorite activities! You are awesome!

飛ぶまで乗っているボートのほうが迫力満点でした 笑
高さをビルに換算すると怖い感じもしますが、広い海のうえでは、高さに対する怖さはなく、ただただ広い海や壮大な眺めにうっとりできます。

The bay itself and the surrounding areas are incredibly beautiful and kayaking is the best way to see it all. The snorkelling was great and our guide made everyone feel safe. Speaking of the guide, Jasmine was really knowledgeable and enthusiastic and made sure everyone had a great time. A personal highlight was jumping off of the cliffs into the ocean (twice!)We both had a fantastic time and I would thoroughly recommend the sea kayak adventure to anyone

Kealakekua Bay Guided Kayak & Snorkeling Tour at the Captain Cook Monument
Amazing Adventure

Kayaking among Hawaiian Spinner Dolphins and snorkeling in water with a spectacularly beautiful reef; home to dozens of species of fish. We even viewed Moray Eel and a large White Tip Shark. Words cannot do this justice. Our guide, Mike, was friendly, helpful and informative. It is an ideal excursion for those new to shorkeling and kayaking. The highlight of our Hawaiian vacation. 息子2人と飛びました❗️

今回は、大学生と高校生の息子と３人で大空を舞いました。（１人より長く飛んでいられます。）溶岩がゴツゴツと続く海岸線、空に続く水平線、ピカピカ光る水面…。全てがとても美しく感動的で、シャッターを切り続けました。ボートが点に見えるくらい高く上がったのですが、怖さは全く感じず、幸せな時間を過ごすことができました。
