景色が素晴らしいかったです。
でも英語での説明でしたので全くわかりませんでした。
説明がわかればもっと感動したかもしれません。
日本のテレビでブルーハワイアンヘリコプターをやっていたので申し込みましたが、日本人も多いと思いますので日本語対応があればいいなと思いました。

ワイピオ渓谷、滝壺着陸

初ヘリコプター搭乗でいくらか緊張していましたが、日本語のパイロットの方のガイドでとてもリラックスして空の旅をたのしめました。
海上からワイピオ渓谷へ進んでいく時間は現実から神の世界への移動、自然に涙が出てきました。
興奮のまま滝壺に着陸、またまた涙があふれてきて大袈裟ですが生きてる！事への感謝の気持ちで一杯になりました。
ますますハワイ島のファンになりました。
友人にも生きている間に一度はこの経験を味って！と伝えたいとおもっています。
勿論子供孫は次回同行します。

Naalapa Stables Kohala Horseback Riding Tour on Kahua Ranch

Would highly recommend!! The tour guides and horses were fantastic and you get to see all the landscape and beautiful views. Waterfall tours are great but this is a completely different scenery and we loved it!

爽やかな風の中、シスコー（馬）に乗って、広い牧場をワイフと散策しました。乗馬の経験があったので、少々列から離れてもOKということで、特に快適でした。10人程の中で半数以上の人が乗馬は初めての様子でした。それはそれで楽しめると思います。とにかくあの広い丘を目に優しい遠景を見ながら草原の中を行くのは最高です。

ハワイ島を上空から見てみよう！

ヘリに乗ってハワイ島を半周すると、「地球が生きていること」を目の当たりにすることができる貴重な経験ができます。
このコースをクルマでドライブすると8時間以上かかります。前回来た時にレンタカーで回りましたが、時間がかかり、真っ暗な中を運転するはめになり、次回は絶対、ヘリでと、決めていました。
ヘリであれば、たった2時間で、しかもクルマでは見られないハレアカラの火口を上空から見ることができ、クルマではいけない渓谷に着陸して、滝を独り占めすることもできます。
日本人パイロットのTOSHIさんが、丁寧に解説してくれるので、言葉の心配はありません。
ヘリ飛行の初体験をぜひハワイ島で！おススメします。

シーズンも終わりの時期で見れない事もあり得るという気持ちで参加し、なかなか現れませんでしたが、突然の潮吹き‼︎背中が何度か見れてよかったと思っていたら最後に尻尾がハッキリと見れました、グレイト‼︎‼︎感動‼︎
英語の案内でまったく内容はわかりませんでしたが、船員の方々はドリンクはいらないか、カクテルはどうかとか気を使っていただきツアーを楽しく過ごすことができました。

Kohala Whale Watching Tour by Ocean Sports | Kids 0-5 Ride for Free [Dec - Mar]

An amazing experience

My husband and I had a GREAT time during the 9:30 a.m. Whale Watch tour. We spotted a whale, her calf and a male escort 30 minutes after we left the harbor and we followed them around for most of the cruise.
It was pretty late in the season (April 6th), so we felt very lucky.
The crew was great, so were the drinks and snacks.
I highly recommend it!

高額なツアーだが、それだけの価値がある

日本人パイロットをリクエスト出来るとのことだったが、ピックアップも含めて、搭乗までは全て英語で「英語が不得手な夫婦」としては、大いに戸惑いました。幸い、パイロットは日本人ベテランパイロットで、要所要所は日本語の案内があり、また、英語もゆっくり話してくれて助かりました。離陸後は、とにかく感動の連続で時の経つのを忘れるほどでした。キラウエア火山の活動が沈静化して、赤い溶岩が流れるのを見ることは出来ませんでしたが、それ以上に、ヘリのローター回転範囲と大して変わらない狭い場所にピンポイントで楽々と着陸するパイロットの腕に驚嘆しました。体験談とその画像だけでは語り尽くせない貴重な体験でした。気軽に体験出来る料金ではありませんが、経済的余裕があれば、是非トライしてみるべきツアーです。

この日の日本人参加者が、英語の分からない自分1人だったこともあり、どうなる事か…と、チャレンジ精神で臨みました。日本語で分かりやすく記載されている船内やクジラの説明のリーフレットを渡されました。係員の方々は、飲み物など、気を配ってくださいましたけれど、肝心なクジラをお客様に探して見てもらおうといった姿勢が若干欠けていたと感じました。
ジャンプやブローは何回かうっすらと見れましたが、このアクティビティ料金では（物価が高いとは言え）高すぎると思いました。

7:30集合でしたが、実際に船に呼ばれたのは8:00〜でした。
南国タイムなのでしょうか…だいぶ早起きしたので、少し残念に思いました。

集合場所がとてもわかりづらいですが、ワイコロアビーチマリオットリゾートホテルに隣接しているビーチの建物です。
海の家というよりは、掘建て小屋のような感じです。

当日は天気も良く、12回ほど鯨を見ることができ、一緒に参加した母も大満足の様子でした！
なお、とても寒かったので、ウインドブレーカーなどあった方が良さそうです。

説明は英語のみで、特にパンフレットなどはありませんでした。
「○時の方向を見て！」と英語で言われるので、迅速にその方向を見てください！！

下船時、膝まで濡れますので必ずスカートやまくり上げられるパンツでの参加をオススメします！

It was so lucky to sit next to the pilot!
The best view and nice weather. Kind and well experienced Pilot. It was expensive but worth to try.

Just the recording the flight US$40 was too high. And the confliction of USB to be ready and bus schedule was too tight.

NB: Check my pick up time on the Vaucher !!! It was actually the flight schedule. I　was about miss the beggest event of the trip!!!

That was your Veltra mistake.

家族4人で参加しました。ツアー参加者は私たち家族のみ。ガイド役の女性が一人付いてくれました。鞍の装着などの準備が整い、次に馬の乗り方や扱い方の説明を受けました。全て英語ですが、ガイドさんの動きをよく見てその通りにすれば大丈夫！　馬の扱い方といっても『進め』『止まれ』『右に』『左に』という４つの基本的な動きの伝え方だけなので難しくありませんでした。
そしていよいよ出発です。途中、駆け足にも挑戦しながら広大な牧場を山の方に向かってどんどん登っていき、振り返るとコハラコーストの絶景が目に飛び込んできました。素晴らしい眺めです。爽快な気分が味わえるはずです。
どの馬もよく調教されていて危なくはありませんが、各々の馬に個性があります。私が乗った馬は「ぬかるみ」が嫌いらしく、他の馬から離れてでも乾いたところを選んで歩きました。と思えば妻が乗った馬は水に入るのが好きなようで水たまりにジャブジャブと入ります。思い通りに動かす難しさを少々味わいながらも楽しい時間でした。皆さんもぜひ体験してください！

【追記】
山からの風は冷たく感じましたので晴れていてもジャケットは借りたほうがいいと思います。また、水たまりやぬかるんだところを馬が進みます。靴が濡れたり汚れたりすることもあるかもしれませんのでブーツも借りたほうがいいと思います。いずれも無料でお借りできます。

はじめてのヘリコプター体験、楽しかったです。
日本語パイロットリクエストしましたが、予約確定時、英語パイロットと、お知らせが来ましたのであらかじめ理解の上参加できたのが良かったです。
ネイティブではありませんが、理解出来、とてもよい体験になりました！
残念ながら、キラウエア火山は沈静化していましたので期待したものではありませんでしたが、雄大なハワイ島の景色を眺めることが出来、お値段の価値はありました！

滞在先がカイルアコナだったので地力で集合
場所まで行かなければならなかったですが
パブリックパーキングが判り辛く、かなり焦り
ましたので事前のチェックが必要です。
ツアーの内容は予想以上に近くでクジラを
見る事が出来て大変良かったです。
ただし、船はかなり揺れますので、船酔いの
心配な方はそれなりに準備した方が良いと思います。

ブリッジングはみられず・・が、親子クジラに会えてよかった

夫と二人で参加しました。期待していたブリッジングには遭遇できませんでしたが（ただ遭遇率はあまり高くないとのこと）、親子クジラに出会えました！（マウイ島のほうがみられるんでしょうか？？）

送迎はスムーズで、朝一にひとつアクティビティを体験でき、そのあとの一日をたっぷり使えますしよいスケジュールだと思います。乗客みんなで「何時方向にいる！」と見つけあい、潮吹きやしっぽたたきを楽しみました。ツアー船長が（英語ですが）クジラの生態について説明してくれました。乗客のいろいろな質問にも答えてくれて、学びになりました。いつかまた参加して、ぜひブリッジングを見てみたいです！

セスナと比べて安定した乗り心地、安心快適、素敵な体験でした。パイロットが、望月TOSHIさんだとわかった瞬間、安心感･期待感がさらに倍増。
熔岩の流れはストップしてましたが、その分、火口にもぐんと近付け、海から見る岸壁も火山島そのもの、同乗したカナダ人家族と一緒に大感激したのでした。

Kohala Sunset Whale Watching Cruise with Open Bar - Ocean Sports [Dec - Mar]

Pretty decent, saw whales

Not a big boat and it was a bit cramped but we had a great time with the open bar. The pupus were limited to fruit, veggies, sweet rolls, and some ham and cheese rolls.

Note: You'll have to walk into the ocean for a few feet to board so be prepared to take off shoes.

Kohala Whale Watching Tour by Ocean Sports | Kids 0-5 Ride for Free [Dec - Mar]

Absolutely worth the price, good for all ages!

Obviously the tour does not summon the whales at their leisure, but we saw honestly 10+ whales (maybe some of the same ones) over a period of an hour and a half and it was incredible. I have so many photos that I can’t wait to post on social. Regardless of actually seeing the whales, the tour was not only educational but it was a smooth ride, very fun and friendly and we even used a hydro microphone that picked up the whales talking to eachother around us. It was nothing I’ve ever heard before, they are so loud!! I would recommend the early trip for any older folks (we took my grandma who is 78) and/or any easily motion sick people. Overall completely worth the price and waking up “early” on vacation.

Ocean Sports Kohala Coast Snorkel Cruise with Lunch and Open Bar

If you're gonna do a snorkel cruise, do this one

This was THE COOLEST snorkel excursion. First they picked us up from our hotel, RAD. They have a marine biologist on board that taught us a lot about the creatures we'd be seeing and the ecosystem which was fascinating. The area they took us to was a gorgeous reef and we saw some amazing fish and sea creatures. The marine biologist was even diving for starfish that he showed everyone and let us pet while we were in the water. We got a good hour and a half of snorkeling and then it was time for a tasty sandwich bar lunch. On the way back was, yes what you've all been waiting for, an OPEN BAR. Those were the best drinks I got on the island. It was awesome, big shout out to the amazing crew.

ホエールウォッチングクルーズ＜12～3月／午前／軽食付き／ワイコロアまたはカワイハエ港発＞

英語のツアーでしたが無事にホエールウォッチングを楽しめました。

日常会話レベル以下の英語力でしたが、特に問題なく楽しむことができました。

【船に乗るまで】
時間になったらホテルのフロントまで小型バスが迎えに来てくれました。
ワイコロアから程近い海に降ろされ「終わったらここに戻ってきてね。それと船に乗る前に同意書は向こうで書いてね。」と言われ、砂浜にある海の家(?)に向かいます。タブレットのような機械で電子サインを済ませ10分ほど待つと小さな船が来たので乗りました。
沖より少し手前で小さな船から大きな船に移ります。
日本人参加者は私達2人だけでした。

【ホエールウォッチング体験】
船の席は自由です。英語ツアーなので私は何を言っているかはちんぷんかんぷんでした（笑）。
また船は揺れるので立ち上がってクジラの写真を撮る際は、皆立つのでしっかりロープや手すりにつかまってください。
遠かったですが4〜5回クジラの潮吹きを見ることができ、クジラの反り返りの低いジャンプも見ることができました。ハワイ島の大自然を感じられた瞬間で貴重な体験でした。
クルーも親切なお兄ちゃんでした。「クジラは毎日ほぼ見れるよ！イルカはたまに。ここよりもコナの方がいるよ。」とのこと。クルーのお兄ちゃんに船でクジラに大接近してる画像を見せてもらい、大迫力すぎて驚きました。自然相手なのでクジラに会えるor会えないは運ですが、こういうラッキーな日もあるんだなぁと思いました。ちなみに、私達2人は船酔いせずに済みました。

【ホエールウォッチングを終えて】
9:30頃船から降りて、また小さい船に移動し砂浜へ戻ります。行きに乗ったバスに乗り込み、無事にホテルのフロントに到着し無事にツアー終了となりました☆

ホエールウォッチングは初めての経験だったので、参加してよかったです！またクジラを待ってる間はクルージングとして楽しみましたよ。遠くの方にマウナケア等の山が見えて美しい海岸も見ることができ優雅な時間でした。

船からは遠かったですがクジラの尾びれが！
クジラが反り返った瞬間を見ることができました。

鏡のような海面をゆっくり走ると、クジラの潮吹き、ダイビングを見学。帰り道はイルカの群生というおまけ付き。人生にこんな時間があるのだと、感動！
