The weather was nice, and it was my first time horseback riding, but thanks to the smart horse, I was able to enjoy it safely and securely. The riding time was sufficient. The instructions were only in English!

On this trip, I wanted to challenge myself with proper horseback riding, so I signed up for this tour, and I was first surprised by the location! It was at an elevation of 2000 meters, as described, in the Kohala Coast. I took a taxi round trip, and I wondered if it would be okay in such thin air, but there was no need for concern. The friendly Hawaiian cowgirls provided kind explanations, and I easily got on the horse, proceeding in a line towards the highland sea. Unfortunately, the weather was not great, and we encountered rain several times during the two hours, but I was able to look down at the coastline of the Kona region and met many cows on the highland. It was an experience that will become a lifelong treasure.

今回の旅で、ちゃんとした乗馬に挑戦したくてこちらのツアーを申し込みましたが、まず場所にビックリ！
説明通りの2000m標高の場所コハラコースト。
タクシーで往復したのですが、こんなに空気の薄い場所で大丈夫かなと思いましたが、そんな心配はご無用。気さくなハワイカウガール達の親切な説明で難なく馬に乗せていただき、１列になって高原の海原へと進んで行きました。
生憎天候は不純で、2時間の間に何度か雨に合いましたが、眼下に広がるコナ地域の海岸線を見下ろしたり、高原には沢山の牛と出会いました。
一生の宝物になる体験ができました。

This experience was incredibly relaxing and objectively beautiful. The staff was incredible, with their insight, attentiveness, and even some local recommendations for the rest of our trip. They even managed to snap a few amazing photos of us. The only question was the check in down the road from the dock, but that was easily figured out! Would recommend to anyone. Far better value than a dinner cruise in my opinion.

We did the 1 1/2 hr.& its a great view.The guides were fun. This is not ride in a line, you can spread out and go faster in a few areas. Wear jeans, hats and bring a jacket even if it's hot where you are! It's beautiful, lush and on grazing land for their cattle and sheep. Loved it, and would recommend! Thank you for a great memory!

We participated as two families (two elementary school students, two middle school students, and four adults). The ranch provides helmets, which can be borrowed for free at each person's discretion (it's better to wear a helmet due to the possibility of falling off!).

At the beginning, the ranch staff gave a brief explanation of how to handle the horses and important points to note (everything was in English, so I needed to lightly interpret for the kids).

After that, the staff selected horses based on the participants' body types, and we quickly started riding. It might be hard to believe in Japan, but even beginners were able to ride the horses, and instead of just leading them around, we all went outside the ranch! The horses were quite accustomed to the trail, so we formed a line following the horse in front of us, but depending on the horse's nature, some wanted to move quickly while others were a bit reluctant to go forward.

At one point, there was a challenge to try a gallop, which made me a bit nervous for the third grader, wondering if they would be thrown off.

This bold tour is unique to America, and riding while overlooking the beautiful ocean was amazing; I believe it will become a lifelong memory! ✨

親族2家族（小学生2名、中学生2名、大人4名）で参加しました。
牧場にはヘルメットが用意されており、それぞれの判断で無料でお借りすることができます。（落馬の可能性があるのでヘルメットは被った方がいいです！）

初めに牧場の方が馬の動かし方や注意事項をざーっと説明してくださいました。（全て英語なので、子供たちには軽く通訳してあげる必要があります。）

その後牧場の方が参加者の体型などから馬を選んでくださり、早速乗馬。日本ではあり得ないと思いますが初心者でも同じように馬に乗り、引馬でもなく、全員牧場の外へ！馬がかなり慣れているので前の馬に続く形で隊列を組んで進みますが馬の性質によっては早く進みたがったりなかなか、進まなかったり。。ということももちろんありました。

途中駆け足に挑戦しよう！と、駆け足チャレンジもあったので小3の子など、振り落とされないか少しドキドキしました。

アメリカならではの大胆なツアーですがとにかく美しい海を見下ろしながらの乗馬はすばらしく、一生の思い出になると思います✨

Wonderful night out on the water. Dominic was very charming while sharing his knowledge and experiences. Dave was also helpful and engaging. Thank you for the experience. Love to come back for a repeat.

The location of the airport was a short drive from the hotel. The airport waiting lobby was crowded, and if you’re not careful, you might miss the announcement for your helicopter. During the flight, there were only Japanese passengers, and the explanations were not bilingual in English and Japanese, which made the information plentiful and fulfilling. It was very lucky that there were no explanations in both languages, as that can be tiring. The course and flight time were excellent, and I thoroughly enjoyed the erupting Hawaii Island. However, I was a bit anxious because there was little time until the taxi back, and the USB with the flight video wasn't ready.

ホテルから飛行場の場所は少し車で走りました。飛行場の待合ロビーは混雑しており、注意していないと乗るべきヘリ案内を聞き逃しそうです。
フライト中は、日本人だけで英語と日本語のバイリンガルの説明ではなかったので、情報量も十分で充実したものとなりました。英語と日本語の説明だと疲れるので、とてもラッキーでした。コース、フライト時間も申し分なく、噴火しているハワイ島を堪能しました。帰りのタクシーまでの時間が少なく、フライト映像のUSBが書き上がらず、ハラハラしましたが。

The staff on board were so welcoming and friendly! They took the time to get to know everyone and made sure we had enough to eat and drink! The sunset was beautiful and we were able to take many pictures. Would definitely recommend!

The tour guides were wonderful and knowledgeable. They made sure of everone's comfort levels and helped those who were inexperienced. The area is beautiful and the horses were gentle.

We really enjoyed ourselves on our cruise. The captain and crew were amazing and incredibly attentive. It was a choppy night on the ocean but they made it fun and it helped to take our minds off of it. We even spotted a few whales on our trip. We highly recommend!

Ty, Mike, and our captain were great hosts for our sunset cruise! They were all so friendly and always made sure we had a drink in our hand. The catamaran itself was easy to get around and very clean. The crew even offered to take some photos for us as well. Drinks were great, views were great, and overall added a special evening to our Hawaii trip.

My 9 year old son was skeptical about riding (his first time) but one of the guides said she would personally lead him. So thankful for that - my son and I walked away with great memories.

Staff was great, sunset was great and nice way to spend a birthday.

This was such a fun and relaxing experience. The bartender was absolutely the best. Besides the fact that it was an open bar - he granted every request with the biggest smile on his face. The whole crew was absolutely great. Me and my girlfriends really enjoyed our time out at sea. the sunset was STUNNING. Highly recommend.

Fabulous snorkel trip and sailing. Fantastic staff made it really special.

We saw a variety of humpback groups, including a mother with a very curious calf. We even saw one breech a few times! Staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Took a lot of questions from the group. We also saw a group of manta rays on our way back to shore! My 4 year old had as equally good time as his grandparents. Would definitely recommend!

This is a wonderful whale watching tour. The crew is super knowledgeable and entertaining. We spotted a bunch of whales and had a great time. We would highly recommend this tour! Sam and Ryan are awesome!

We had a horseback riding experience in the morning as a family of three. It was everyone's first time, but we had a lot of fun. The blue sky and green scenery were amazing, and we spent about two hours on a spacious ranch. At times, we even trotted, which was thrilling, and my daughter enjoyed it as well. At higher altitudes, we entered the clouds, and the guide explained everything in clear English while being considerate of everyone's situation, which made us feel at ease. I recommend the 2.5-hour plan. It was a wonderful experience! I want to go again!

家族三人での朝からの乗馬体験。
全員初めてでしたが楽しかった。
青空とグリーンの景色が最高で広々とした牧場を2時間ほど。途中何度か駆け足で進んでみたりドキドキでしたが、娘も楽しんでいました。
標高の高いところでは雲の中に入って行ったり、ガイドのお姉さんがわかりやすい英語で説明してくれたり、みんなの状況を見ながら気遣ってくれたりと安心でもありました。2.5時間プランお薦めです。
素晴らしい体験！また行きたい！

Had a great time going out on the whale watching catamaran. Free drinks was a delight as well. Getting to see and hear the Mama and her calf was just wonderful!

I was able to see whales not just once, but multiple times. I was very satisfied to see a mother and her calf as well.
During the cruise, snacks and soft drinks were provided for free. While sitting outside, the staff asked what drinks we wanted and brought them to us.

It was a stable day, so I didn't need any motion sickness medication. I drove to the location with a rental car, and it was easy to find; it's at a corner. You can park on the shoulder of the road.

1回だけでなく何度もクジラを見ることが出来ました。親子もみれて大変満足です。
クルーズの中ではスナック菓子やソフトドリンクが無料です。外で座っているとスタッフが欲しい飲み物を聞いてくれて持ってきてくれました。

酔い止めなどなくとも大丈夫な安定した日でした。
レンタカーで現地に向かいましたが場所はわかりやすく角です。車は路肩に止めます。

The weather was perfect, and I was moved by all the scenery. I was told that if things went well, I might see a whale, but I didn't get my hopes up. However, whales appeared! They jumped several times, which was also moving. The passengers on the boat cheered loudly. And then, the sunset—absolutely stunning. I recorded videos of the whales and the sunset. Even after returning home, it was amazing!

One slight disappointment was that although they mentioned light snacks, there were only some snack foods in paper cups. The rest was just conversation... This was our fault, but I was disappointed that I couldn't understand the crew's fun talk. Because of these two points, I couldn't say it was "the best!" I apologize for that.

That said, it was a series of moving experiences. I am grateful.

天候に恵まれすべての景色に感動。
うまくいけば鯨を見れるかも！と言われていたが、期待しないでいました。
が、鯨出没。何度もジャンプしてくれました。これまた感動。船上では乗客が大歓声。
そして、サンセット。　これまた最高。
鯨・サンセット　動画で撮影しましたよ。　
帰宅後見ても、最高！！

ちょいと残念なのが、軽食とあるが紙コップの中にスナック菓子があるだけ。
あとは会話が・・・
これは我々のせいですが、クルーの楽しそうなトークが理解出来ず残念。
この2点があった為『最高でした！』が押せませんでした。申し訳ありません。

とは言え、感動の連続。感謝しております。

This was my eighth time on the Big Island of Hawaii, and the helicopter tour allowed me to see the entire island, leading to new discoveries!

今回で8回目のハワイ島でしたが、ヘリツアーによりハワイ島全容を観ることができて新しい発見がありました！

The weather hadn't been very good until the day before, but we were blessed with great weather on the day itself, so I didn't experience any seasickness without taking any medication. We saw several whales in the distance, including their tails, backs, and spouts. Just when I thought that was all we would see, there was suddenly a series of breaches right in front of us! It was incredibly powerful, and all the passengers were very excited.

It was a satisfying whale watching experience.

当日は天気に恵まれたので、薬など飲まなくても船酔いはなかったです。
くじらは、遠くで何頭も見れました。尾びれ、背中、潮吹きも。
こんなもんかな？って思っていたら、突然目の前での連続ブリーチング！！
すごい迫力で、乗客みんな大興奮でした。

満足できた、ホエールウオッチグでした。

I realized last year that I had never done a sunset cruise while in Hawaii on past trips. After booking one for the first time last year it will always be on the list of things to do, whales or not. It is so beautiful and peaceful.

So please we followed the recommendations from lovebigisland.com and selected this outfit for our Hawaii Horseback Riding! Jackie was a great guide and provided us with a well balanced experience of riding and education on the area. Not just your typical head to tail ride and I doubt we will ever have a ride of this caliber in terms of the views and overall experience. Well done Jackie!

For my wife, who has difficulty walking, navigating uneven terrain is challenging, and even short distances can take time for able-bodied individuals. Therefore, instead of sightseeing by car, we chose the helicopter experience for the first time. Although it was disappointing that there was no lava flow, I was moved by the size of the crater when viewed from above. We also saw whales, and I am grateful to the pilot who helped us find them. I had requested a pilot who could speak Japanese, but since there were no other Japanese participants, it couldn't be helped. I was worried the day before due to strong winds that could have taken the steering wheel from me, but the ride was smooth and comfortable. My wife was also in high spirits. It was great to make effective use of our time.

足が不自由な家内にとっては、凸凹したところを歩いたりするのは困難で、健常者にとっては短い距離移動でも時間がかかったりするので、車での観光ではなく、初体験のヘリを選択しました。溶岩が流れていなかったのは残念でしたが、火口を上空から見ることが出来、その大きさに感動しました。また、鯨も見ることが出来ました。捜して下さったパイロットに感謝。日本語の出来るパイロットをリクエストしていましたが、他に日本人参加者がいなかったので仕方ありません。前日の午後は車のハンドルが取られる程の強風だったので心配しましたが揺れもなく快適。家内もハイテンションでした。時間が有効に使え良かったです。

The ship was larger than I expected. There was someone explaining over the speaker, but it was all in English, so I didn't understand it very well. There were hardly any Japanese guests. I was worried about seasickness, so I took some medication before heading out, but I didn't feel much rocking at all. I was able to see whales about four times, but of course, since we couldn't get too close, just watching from a distance lacked a bit of impact. However, being able to see them with the naked eye is only possible during this season, so I was really moved just to have had the chance to see them!

思っていた以上に大きい船でした。スピーカーで説明してくれている方がいたのですが、全て英語であまりよく分かりませんでした。日本人のお客さんもほとんどいませんでした。船酔いが不安だったので酔い止めを飲んで出掛けましたが、あまり揺れも感じずにすみました。4回ほどくじらを見ることができましたが、当然のことながら、あまり近くに寄ることもできないため、遠目に見るだけでは、やはり迫力には欠けます。しかし、肉眼で見られるのは、この時期だけですので、見ることができただけで感動でした！

I was able to see a little bit of a mother and baby whale in the waters of Hawaii. It's a shame I couldn't see them clearly, but I guess that's just how it is with wild animals. Just being on the yacht and out on the ocean was fun. I want to try again during this season!

ハワイの海原にすこーし鯨の親子を見ることができました。はっきり見れなかったのは残念だけど、自然の生き物相手なのでしょうがないですね。
ただヨットに乗って海の上にいるだけで楽しかったです。またこのシーズンに再チャレンジしたいです！

I participated in the tour in early February 2020. After checking in at the tour reception, we boarded a small boat at a shallow beach and then transferred to a medium-sized whale-watching boat after heading a little offshore. Since this tour was not specifically for Japanese speakers, all the explanations were in English, and we didn't understand much as we are not very good at English. However, both the reception staff and the crew were friendly, so we didn't feel out of place.

The tour includes drinks and snacks. We didn't need them, so we didn't eat or drink, but I appreciated that the crew took the time to ask if we wanted something to drink and made an effort to deliver drinks to elderly passengers who found it difficult to move around due to the boat's rocking.

What kind of whales we encounter is purely a matter of luck, but this time we were able to see a mother whale with her baby. We didn't get to see any flashy displays, but we enjoyed watching them blow water and see their tails.

If we could understand English better, we might have enjoyed it even more, but it was a tour that was enjoyable even without knowing English.

2020年2月上旬に参加しました。
ツアー受付でチェックイン後、浅瀬のビーチで小型の船に乗り、そこから少し沖に出てから中型のクジラウォッチング用の船に乗り換えました。
日本人向けのツアーではないので説明はすべて英語で、英語が苦手な私たちにはあまり内容はわかりませんでしたが、受付の方もクルーの方もフレンドリーで肩身の狭い思いをすることはありませんでした。

ツアーにはドリンクやスナックがついています。
私たちはいらなかったので飲み食いしませんでしたが、クルーの方が何か飲まないかとわざわざ尋ねてくださったり、船は揺れるので移動が億劫になる高齢者の方に飲み物を届けたりする心遣いはいいなぁと思いました。

どんなクジラに出会えるかは運でしかないのですが、この時は赤ちゃん連れのクジラ親子に遭遇できました。
派手な画を見ることはできませんでしたが、塩吹きや尻尾を見ることができたので十分に楽しめました。

英語が理解できればもっと楽しめたのかもしれませんが、英語ができなくても楽しめるツアーでした。
