As older folks we were nervous about elevation, but this tour makes sure your comfortable and taken care of.

Kilauea was just amazing, I could go every day if it was possible!

We were pre-jittered, but for no reason as this was the calmest experience I could of imagined!

Quick and on time. Good way to see some of the sea life with young kids.

If you like adventure in an area you have not explored before, this is for you. We had a side-by-side thrilling ride to an amazing waterfall. The view is breathtaking and the water so refreshing. Water was great to cool off and clean up a bit. Amanda, Alysha, and Saire were excellent guides. They were very helpful and extremely personable. We highly recommend this Big Island adventure.

Found our tour guide Shaun (sp?) to be very informative about the area and Island history. Great scenery and an awesome education!

The mountains were closed until the day before, and it was cloudy the day before that, so I was worried, but those worries were unnecessary as we had clear skies.

It turned out to be the best sunset and stargazing experience.

Especially during the stargazing, I was able to capture photos of the Southern Cross and the lights of Kilauea Volcano.

It was truly an amazing experience! Next, I will challenge myself with sunrise! I will definitely come back!

The Southern Cross was very beautifully visible. I was surprised to hear that observatories from various countries have different structures and operate remotely. The explanation using the green laser was easy to understand, and I was amazed at how straight the laser traveled far into the distance.

南十字星がとても綺麗に見えました。各国の天文台がいろんな構造をしていてリモートで動いていると聞いて驚きました。緑色のレーザーでの解説がわかりやすくレーザーが遠くまでまっすぐ飛ぶことにびっくりしました。

The weather was nice, so we were able to enjoy both the sunset and stargazing beautifully!

Also, our guide, Kouki, provided clear explanations and took beautiful photos for us. It was the best experience! I'm glad I participated!

I was able to see the sunset and starry sky from the summit of Mauna Kea, which I had always wanted to experience at least once in my life, and my dream came true. I was very moved to see the Southern Cross, which is almost impossible to see in Japan. It was a sight I will never forget! I had a precious experience.

人生で一度は見たいと思っていたマウナケア山頂からのサンセットと星空を見ることができて夢が叶いました。
日本ではほぼ見ることができない南十字星を見ることができてとても感動しました。目に焼き付けました！

The view of the sunset sinking below our location was amazing. There are many observatories from various countries, and stargazing was wonderful; we were both moved.

サンセットが自分のいる場所より下に沈む光景は最高でした。各国の天体観測所も沢山あり、星空観察も素敵で、夫婦揃って感動しました。

I've always wanted to visit the summit of Mauna Kea. I felt reassured with a wonderful guide who spoke Japanese. However, there were many participants, and the van was quite cramped. The sandwich we had at the summit was extremely delicious. Since it's over 4,000 meters high, the oxygen was thin, and I felt a bit lightheaded.

昔から行きたかったマウナケア山頂。
素敵な日本が話せるガイドさんで安心しました。ただ参加者が多くぎゅうぎゅうのバンでした。山頂で食べるサンドイッチは大変美味しかったです。4000メートルを超えるところなので酸素が薄くて少し頭がくらくらしました。

The guide was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. It was a fulfilling day. It was really good. However, all the participants were Americans, and perhaps because they all had knowledge about Hawaii, the topics discussed were quite difficult. Things like how to buy land and rumors about Captain Cook. If you have prior knowledge and are fluent in English, it would be very enjoyable, but if your level is just average, you might feel a bit left out.

ガイドさんがとても熱心ないい方で、知識も豊富。充実感のある一日でした。とても良かったです。ただ参加者はアメリカ人の方ばかりで、またハワイに着いても知識がある方ばかりだったからか、話の内容がなかなか難しいものでした。土地の買い方やキャプテンクックの噂話など。事前知識があったり、おそらく英語がペラペラだととっても楽しいかと、ただそれなりレベルだとポツン悲しい思いをしてしまうかも。

My husband and I had a tour with James through Hawaiian Eyes Tours and absolutely loved it!! The sunset was beautiful and the star gazing was such an eye opening experience! James was very knowledgeable about the sights and Hawaiian culture. Highly recommend!

The Luau dinner event was awesome all my family enjoyed the food, drink and show.
I wish going back again.

I received a message the day before that the event might be canceled, and I was waiting for a notification on the day itself, but there was none. Somehow, I managed to get to the location with the rental car, but it was a bit hard to find.

With all that, I was feeling dissatisfied and anxious until it started, but once the horseback riding began, it was incredibly fun! The horses are just so smart. Since the altitude is high, it rained on some parts of the course, and there were muddy spots, but they walked very well.

The rain-soaked grasslands looked beautiful. In the midst of all this, a family of wild pigs, about ten of them, crossed the path like a scene from a movie. The two and a half hours flew by. It was truly a wonderful experience. I really want to go again!

前日に中止になるかもと連絡があり、当日の連絡を待っていましたが無し。何とかレンタカーが現地に行けましたが、少々分かりにくい場所です。
そんなこんなで始まるまでは不満と不安でしたが、実際に乗馬が始まると、めちゃくちゃ楽しい！
お馬さんがとにかく、賢いです。標高が高いので雨がコースによっては降ったので、泥濘みもありましたが、すごく上手に歩いてくれます。
雨に濡れた草原がキレイに映ります。
そんな中を映画の一コマみたいに野生の豚の親子が10匹程で横断します。2時間半があっという間にです。本当に素晴らしい体験でした。。
すごくまた、行きたいです。

I love zip-lining. I had done it in Japan before, but this one is on another level. Gliding while overlooking the canyon is just amazing.

ジップラインが好きです日本でもやったことはありましたが、こちらは別格です。
渓谷を見渡しながら滑り抜けるのは、気持ちよ過ぎです。

A few years ago, I had high expectations for the night sky I saw from the mid-mountain, but I was a bit disappointed this time. While it’s less affected by clouds, the surrounding lights seemed to interfere, and I didn't feel that much awe. Considering the cost-performance, I think a mid-mountain tour might be sufficient. However, this is a tour you can't miss if you want to experience 4,000 meters.

数年前に中腹から見た星空以上を期待してましたが以下でややガックリ。くもの影響は受けにくいですが周りの光がやや邪魔してかそれ程の感動を感じませんでした。
コスパを考えるなら中腹のツアーでいいのかなってのが感想です。
ただ4000mを体験するには外せないツアーです。

You definitely should go! I saw the original landscapes of Hawaii that you can only experience by joining the tour. The guide was very experienced, which gave me a sense of security.

ぜひ行くべきです！ツアーに参加しないと見ることが出来ないハワイの原風景を見ました。ガイドの方はもちろん慣れていて安心感がありました。

Tour guide was a local. This was once in a lifetime experience to go down into the valley and see the long cascading waterfall. We meandered through trails & crossed 7 streams and passed by taro fields.

We went snorkeling and saw turtles! It was nice to have a guide to show and teach us. We had a great time!

Despite my worries before going, it was the best experience, and I was very satisfied with the views. The sunset over the sea of clouds at an altitude of over 4000 meters brought me to tears. After the sun set, I forgot the cold while marveling at the starry sky, which was truly breathtaking. The guide primarily spoke English, but they did their best to communicate in my limited Japanese and took great care in preventing altitude sickness, which made me very happy as well.

行く前の心配とは裏腹に、最高の経験、景色を見ることができ大満足。
標高4000ｍ超の空間と目の前に広がる雲海に沈む夕日は涙が出る思いでした。
日が沈んだあとの満点の星空とは正にこのことかと寒さを忘れました。
基本は英語でしたが、拙い日本語を駆使して一所懸命のガイドしてくれ、高山病予防にも細かく気を使ってくれ、これも大満足。

We enjoyed our day. The staff were organized and very friendly. They ensured everyone was safe and comfortable. The grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed being able to explore the property and look at the waterfalls. We had a nice time sitting by the waterfall and having time to enjoy going in the water. We were a bit disappointed by the ride itself as were are more seasoned and experienced riders. The pace was very geared to beginners and some guests had no clue what they were doing and that slowed the activity. We also hoped to have a ride close by ocean and that isn’t part of this activity, not their fault. I should have looked into that more. We basically road around through trails in a field. One last bit of advice, they should chill the drink they serve better. We appreciated though being provided a drink and snack part way through.

Our guide was very friendly, courteous, and informative. Having lived and worked in the valley, he displayed his passion and knowledge throughout the tour.

I was able to see manta rays up close, even more than I had expected. It was colder than I thought, and I got seasick, so I felt a bit unwell, but it all became a good memory.

思っていた以上にマンタを近くで見ることができました。思っていたより寒く、船酔いをしたので体調的にはしんどかったですがそれも含めて良い思い出になりました。

Great zip line experience! Beautiful scenery. Always felt safe. Guides were awesome! I was worried about transportation from cruise ship and back. We caught a taxi and same guy came back to pick us up. No problem.

There were few Japanese participants, but the guide was very kind and it was great! The weather was good, and I enjoyed it. When I reached the summit, I felt a bit dizzy, probably due to the lack of oxygen. The cocoa provided during the stargazing was delicious.

The tour proceeded as scheduled, allowing us to see the sunset and starry sky at their most beautiful moments, which made for a wonderful experience. Throughout the tour, we also learned about the history and culture, making it very enriching.

サンセットや星空が最も綺麗に見えるタイミングで予定通りにツアーを進めていただき、素晴らしい体験ができました。ツアー中も歴史や文化についてのお話もしていただき、非常に充実した内容でした。

Great time, great food, great service! We thoroughly enjoyed our evening cruising down to Captain Cook. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The mean was wonderful. We loved that we could sit back and enjoy the scenery while being served. I would definitely recommend this dinner cruise.
