The enthusiasm from our private guide was fabulous. She was very sensitive to the 6/7 and the 5 yr olds reactions and adjusted to make the experience so so special.

My first trip to the Big Island of Hawaii was filled with uncertainties, but it was comfortable. There was a pickup at the hotel and meals included. Considering the cost of living, the price seems reasonable. They accurately took us to several attractions. The highlight was stargazing. The view was truly amazing. It was quite cold, but they provided warm clothing, so you can rest assured about that. English is quite difficult, so a certain level of proficiency is necessary.

As we left the shoreline, the captain noticed several whales breaching in the distance. He asked if we wanted to go past the reef to see it and we all said yes, of course. We spent most of the 30 minutes whale watching from a distance. On our return trip, the crew still found time to pass over the reef and explain several interesting details not only about the reef but the animals the call it home. It was a great time and the crew did a great job!

I would not change one thing about this tour. It exceeded our expectations. the communication before the experience was excellent. Jason was an exceptional guide - so attentive! He is an expert in astronomy and Hawaiian history which we greatly enjoyed. He had a great telescope and a cool machine that takes pictures of celestial objects in the sky that he EVEN EMAILED TO US LATER! Just wow! The chicken stew was delicious too! Since I stayed at Waikoloa Village, I decided to book Dolphin Quest. The prices were high due to the weak yen, but I thought the experience for my child was priceless, so I made the reservation. The group was divided into two, with one team that understood English and another that did not. The team that didn't understand English had four Japanese and one Indian. This was my second helicopter tour, but it was my first time sitting next to the pilot. The view was wide and I highly recommend it. You can see down very well, so this tour offered great views of the waterfalls and canyons. I think 50 minutes is just the right length.

We took this tour with Jason. It was amazing. Jason, a local, was fantastic. He was personable, engaging, entertaining and extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the tour, and Hawaiian culture and lifestyle. The views speak for themselves and are breathtaking.

Our group thoroughly enjoyed the luau. The whole production was amazing. The musicians and dancers were incredibly talented. The host of the show, Hoku was a wonderful personality. The food of the buffet was delicious. There was so much to try featuring different cuisines. All around, we are happy to have chosen this luau. The only thing that would make it better, would be an ocean view.
My husband, daughter and I attended this luau. I've been to several luaus and this one had the best food, great entertainment and an amazing Fire dancer. We all enjoyed ourselves. Great service, tasty food and wonderful show.
Gorgeous, unimaginably beautiful views. Very interesting and informative guided tour. Strenuous though, they warned us about the low oxygen and a couple people were visibly feeling ill. "Dinner" was hot but not very good (heavily salted vegetable lasagne).
