はじめてのヘリコプターでした。もちろん小型飛行機も乗ったことがありません。カウアイ島の絶景に圧倒されて乗り物酔いの心配など全然ありません。むしろ空港までの送迎のバンの方が酔いそうなくらいです。
少し高いですが、座席はパイロット横の前席が絶対にいいです。カウアイ島の自然の景色がパノラマで広がり、素晴らしい思い出になりました。

25th Anniversary Trip

This was an amazing tour!!! A first for us both and would do it again in a heartbeat!!! We had Guy as our pilot and he was amazing!! He knew so much about the island we had a hard time finding questions to ask. This is a must when you come to Kauai. This company is great as well. The only thing that happened was our video didn't get us landing but the staff did discount our video and I had videotaped our landing so we did get a bit of it though. We went with another couple ad they enjoyed it as well.

ヘリコプターに乗らなければ観ることの出来ない絶景大自然を観ることができる。ただし自分達が割り当てられた席からはナ・パリコーストは反対側であまり綺麗に見られなかった。また、操縦席横の席は途中雨がフロントガラスをつたい、景色をよく見られないです。

Truly unique way to see the island

All in all, we liked this a lot just because of where you get to go and how close you’re able to fly . Very comfortable ride, excellent pilot but his narration was pretty tired sounding. Luckily , we had learned a lot of the names and stories beforehand so that didn’t bother us much, but it might others.
Their flight video needs an upgrade also- it is tough to get good shots from inside, so we totally would have bought a high quality video had it been available.
Overall 4/5 stars. Helicopters are cool !

家族三人で参加致しました。ヘリコプターに乗るのは初めてで少し緊張しました。でも無駄にゆれることもなく、恐怖心もすぐになくなりました。
英語はできないので、ガイドさんの説明は理解できませんでしたが　それでも
目の前に広がる景色は絶景で、あまりにもきれいで逆に作り物のような気までしてきます。こんなに美しい空と海と緑、大地の景色の中に溶け込むように見ることが出来て素晴らしい体験でした。おススメします！
時間のリクエストは14時にしましたが、朝一番早い時間の参加でした。でも
結果そのあとの行動がしやすくてよかったです。ツアーが終わってからレンタカーでワイメアキャニオンに行くことが出来ました。空と陸からと一日で二度おいしい的な過ごし方が出来ました。

Amazing!!

Took the “early bird” flight with Sunshine. Absolutely stunning tour - no other way to really see all that the island has to offer. Shay, our transporter and safety guide, was a delight. Wayne was an Outstanding pilot and provided great information and detail during the flight. Awesome! Highly recommend this adventure for anyone coming to Kauai.

view was great, but left my ears ringing and aching

The tour itself was great because the island is filled with breathtaking land formation.

However, since the tour operator didn't tell us how to adjust the headphone's volume, I had no idea about how to stop the pilot's extremely loud voice thoroughout the flight. I had to keep wearing the headphone cut to the Cooper's loud rotator.

とってもエキサイティングな大空散歩でした！

集合場所はショッピングセンターにあるので、レンタカーで行っても無料で駐車しておけます。
私はリフエのマリオットに泊まってたので、ビーチ沿いに徒歩3分でした。
集合場所ではバウチャーを見せて、そのあと、その場で体重計に乗ります。(体重計の数字はスタッフ側にしか見えないので安心して下さい)
それによって座席の位置が決まるようです。
ヘリコプターに乗ってしまえば、あとは空からの眺めを楽しむだけですが、白い服やアクセサリーや腕時計なんかも日差しに反射してガラス窓に映るので、写真やビデオ撮影の邪魔になりますので、黒いシャツを着て行くのをオススメします。

  • 操縦士以外に6人乗れます。

ナパリコーストが特にすごかったです。こんなすてきな景色見たこともなく途中はグランドキャニオンをまじかに見てるような、アドベンチャー感がありました。乗って損はない大満足のヘリでした。

There is no other way to see Kauai than from
above. There is so much of the island you can only see from above. I highly recommend doing it. This is our 2nd time here but 1st time seeing it from above. It is totally worth the money. Plus they are the only ones that let my 6 yr old on. After the ride, my wife and I looked at each other and couldn’t believe no other helicopter rides allowed him on it.

乗る前は、酔ってしまうのではないか？
あまりに値段が高いのでは？
等と悩みもしましたが、ファーストクラスを選んで大正解でした。
どうせ乗るなら、絶対絶対ファーストクラスでカウアイの自然をお楽しみ下さい！
ヘリに乗って景色を見ている…というよりは、
まるで自身が風になった気分を存分に味わえます。
パイロットさんは、素敵な声で丁寧かつ名調子ガイドしてくれます。
但し…英語が苦手な私には、残念ながら20％位しか分かりませんでした。
実は翻訳ソフトで同時通訳する予定でしたが、
スマホ画面を見るのがもったいなくて、ひた景色を眺めていました。

カウアイは3回目で昨年行ったばかりでしたが、
ヘリツアーのおかげでガーデンアイランドがさらに好きになりました♡

絶景

1年前に夫婦でカウアイ島に泊まりましたが、怖くてヘリコプターには乗らずに帰りました。それが心残りで、今回は夫婦でトライしました。今回はオアフに宿泊で、このためにチケットを取り、空港でピックアップをお願いし、英語しか通じないツアー参加でした。初めてのヘリコプターで私は恐る恐る。家内は何かにとりつかれたように感動しまくっていました。これはただのヘリツアーではありません。渓谷や陸路ではたどり着かないところまで、そして滝の流れるすぐ近くまで、止まったり方向を変えてみたり。まあなかなか経験のできないことを一度に経験できました。日帰りで少し高くつきましたが、ほんと行って良かった。

大迫力の大感動！

初めてヘリコプターに乗りました。
絶景に感動しました！！1人で参加し、運良く前の席に乗りました。
ナパリコーストやワイメア渓谷はもちろんですが、この島全部が美しかったです。
音楽もかけてくれて、ワクワクを助長します。
迷っているなら、参加した方がいいです！
服は黒い服をお勧めします。隣の方が青い服を着ていて、窓に反射して綺麗に撮影できませんでした。
また、酔いのことを書かれている方もいるようですが、全く大丈夫です。日本の山道を車で走る方が、よっぽど酔います。

滞在期間が約2日と短かったので、見どころを一気に周れるヘリコプターツアーを選びました。
飛行機ORヘリ遊覧のツアーは300ドルくらいする印象なんですが、ハワイだけはちょっとお安い気がします。

45分ほどの飛行時間でしたが、雨に濡れそぼるワイメア渓谷、天に向かってニョキニョキと生えたかのように岩がそびえるナ・パリコースト、白糸のような滝が何本も流れる景観は神々しく、感動のひと言でした。
翌日はクルージングに参加して、下からもナ・パリコーストを堪能したのですが、下から見上げるのも迫力があります。コストはかさばりますが、ぜひセットでの参加をお勧めしたいです。

■天候と催行について
カウアイ島に到着してみると、ハリケーン「オリビア」が過ぎ去った直後だからか島東部はかなりの強風…。ちゃんとヘリが飛ぶのか、飛んだとしても相当揺れるのではないかと心配になりましたが、全然問題ありませんでした。
どうも島の東西南北で大きく天候が違うようで、特に東側は風雨が多いエリアみたいです。天候が不安でも、催行会社の判断に任せて大丈夫だと思います。

■注意事項：
私は大丈夫でしたが、普段はあまり船酔いしない友人が気持ち悪くなりそうだったと言っていたので、不安な方は酔い止めを飲んで参加することをお勧めします（隣の男性は本当に辛そうでした…）。

  • ヘリは6人乗り。前の席ならもっと迫力ありそう。

  • 無数に白糸のような滝が。切り立った谷間をなめるようにアプローチできるのは、ヘリならでは。

  • ハワイ諸島で最も古くにできた島だからこそ複雑な侵食が見られる。

9歳７歳５歳の子どもに初めてのヘリコプター体験を、と思い、申し込みました。解説が英語で、しかもちょっと癖のある話し方の操縦士さんで聞きづらかったですが、それでも雄大な自然を目の当たりにして感動しました。なかなか出来ない体験なので、思い切って申し込みして良かったです。

Our initial tour was canceled due to weather. The staff was very accommodating for us to be able to reschedule. Our entire family from 11 yrs old to adults really enjoyed this trip. The pilot was knowledgeable and shared lots of history and fun facts about the island. It was defiantly a trip we were all happy we took.

Highlight of the whole vacation!

The helicopter tour of Kaua'i with Sunshine tours was the highlight of our trip. Comfortable ride. The front seat upgrade was well worth the extra cost. Kaua'i was our first Hawaiian visit and the views on the helicopter tour show what allows you to see this incredible island in the best possible way.

テレビで見聞きしていましたが、この素晴らしい景観をこの目で見ることができて感動の時間を過ごせました。Pilot（Mr.ダレン）さんの英語と軽妙な日本語での説明で、飛行前の不安を忘れ、リラックスでき、あっという間の時間でした。このツアーに参加するにあたって経験したことを少し、記載しますので参考にしてください。
１. リフエ空港からBlue Hawaiiann事務所まで徒歩で約10分（1㎞）くらい。
　　（ホテルからカウアイバスを利用したので参考まで）
２．入口ドアを開けると、正面に受付。受付カウンターで名前を告げます。次に、当日の体重を測ることになるのですが、ちょうど自分が立っている足マットの下が、体重計になっています。（何やら説明されていたようですが、よく聞き取れませんでした。）
3.　ツアーについての説明開始時間を教えてくれます。
4.　ツアーについての説明（安全）は、プロジェクターで行われますが、外国人向けに字幕を付けてくれます。最初のオリエンテーションの最後に必要な人は、と問われるので、”Japanese”。（私は、聞き逃しました。）
5.プロジェクターでの説明後に、自分の乗るヘリコプターの座席位置が知らされます。
6.ツアー終了後、受付カウンターで当日のフライト画像（音声付き）のUSBメモリーを購入できます。40でした。

  • 海岸線でポットポンドを発見！！

  • この日は、たくさんの滝が見れました。翌日の海からのアプローチでは、まったく見れませんでした。

  • よくテレビで見かけます。

I really enjoyed the aerial view of the island and Wayne was a superb pilot, very smooth and we didn’t feel the bumps at all. It’s a great way to see the island from up top including the crater, Napali coast, the valleys, mountains, and waterfalls. We even saw where the Rock is filming. I would certainly recommend!

Ok, but could have been better

This was our second helicopter experience and a bit disappointing because our view from the back seat was limited and it was difficult to take pictures without obstructions in the way. Also, although the pilot was knowledgeable, he seemed to be terribly lacking in enthusiasm, making the presentation somewhat boring. To be fair, our first experience was in a “no doors” helicopter so we were able to enjoy a much better view. In addition, the pilot on our first trip took more time to show the attractions from both sides of the helicopter to ensure that everyone on the helicopter had the opportunity to get a good view of the main attractions. This was not the case with the 2nd trip (taken last week).

乗り物酔いには注意

カウアイ島は基本的に日本語が通用しません。こちらのツアーも同じで、ほとんど全てが英語で進みます。ただ、中学英語レベルができればある程度の説明はわかるし、単語もなんとなくわかるキーワードを拾って楽しむことができます。
送迎なしで自力で朝1番のフライトに行きましたが、遅れないように早めに着いたら営業自体が始まっていないから待てとちょっと怒られてしまいました。その後はどのスタッフもとても気さくで、日本人とわかるとゆっくり会話してくれました。
初めてのヘリコプター搭乗でしたが、離着陸はカウアイ島へ渡るハワイアン航空の方が揺れます（笑）。ただ、山肌沿いを進むためか上下する事もあって、乗り物酔いする人はあっという間にノックアウトです。酔い止めは必須です。
島をほとんど1周してくれて、普段見る事のできない景色を堪能できてとても有意義な1時間を過ごせました。

英語ガイドのみという所に躊躇しましたが以前に乗った友人が「絶対乗った方が良い」と太鼓判押してくれたので思い切って申し込みました（料金もsale中でラッキー♪)体験して大正解！地上では雨続きのカウアイ島でしたがナパリコースト上空では虹が見えるほどのお天気。フラを習っているので曲に出て来る地名は聞き取れ英語が分からなくても大丈夫でしたヽ(^。^)ノ

  • ヘリコプターは次から次へと飛んでいました

  • 前席料金ではなかったけど操縦席隣に友人と2人乗せて貰えました！

Blue Hawaii helicopter tour was Awesome! Brodie, our pilot was friendly and very knowledgeable. We were lucky enough to catch a break in the weather and see some sights which had no been accessible for 48hrs. I felt so lucky! A great flight is always subject to the weather. Would definitely fly with them again!!

Worth every penny!

The entire experience was awesome. Nice building at the helipad with merchandise and restrooms if you need them. The pre-flight instructions and guidance upon loading/unloading was great with a photo op post-flight in front of the helicopter. The pilot made us feel safe the entire time. I get motion sickness on boats and was a little worried but no issues at all (I took a ginger pill but not sure it was needed as it felt very steady). Take photos/videos on the ride but be sure to just appreciate it with your own eyes too because it’s really amazing! Don’t hesitate to go, it’s worth the extra money vs. other excursions. FYI - this was a review from a rainy/cloudy day...I can’t imagine what it must look like with a nice sunny/clear sky!
