Mount Waialeale Rainforest Hike (Easy to Moderate)
Hiking in the rain(forest)!!

We thought we had signed up for the ATV's, but realized our mistake when the driver started making stops on the way to what we thought was the trip. Anyway, it. Turned out to be a great time, just different than what we had hoped for. Our guide, nick, was a wealth of information. I swear the guy knew every plant possible! I tried in earnest to stump him, to no avail. You will most certainly get wet in this trip! And the 4wd ride to get there is extremely bumpy, to say the least. I would recommend this if you are looking for something different. It didn't rain, it poured, which made it more fun. It's not a tough hike. And it was beautiful.

Fun and INVIGORATING!!

Wasn't really sure what to expect even though I read good reviews. We had teens and I worried this would be a lazy river float. It wasn't! Don't get me wrong, it wasn't rapids either. But it was a lot of fun. You float, but you also spin and the tunnels are really something. I'm claustrophobic and worried about the tunnels, but with the headlamp provided and everyone moving along, it was not scary, not even for young children. The guides were terrific at making sure you have a good time, but also know when enough is enough...meaning they asked about claustrophobia and when I told them yes, they did not jump out to scare me in the tunnels. Although I would have been ok with that!
