Our driver Mel made the tour extra special!

I have to give credit to our driver Mel for making this tour awesome! He was so knowledgeable and I thoroughly enjoyed the history and stories he shared. He was great at keeping everyone on track (there is always someone that is slow to leave an area!) and I feel that it was worth the money. Although you are not guaranteed to see lava, I was fortunate enough to see a little and it was amazing! My camera was not great, so the pics don't do it justice. In the hot lava photos where it is extra bright near the edge, that is the hot lava shooting up. In person it is bright red and much more detailed. It is definitely a must see...and bring a good camera!! It was a day well spent!!
