Unless we go to Polynesian Cultural Center, we have found Paradise Cove to be the best! Over the years, it has gotten quite a bit more expensive, and does less than it used to (welcome picture with dancers), but is still a great show, great property, and really good food. The imu ceremony is as good as you'll get anywhere on the island.

I stayed in the Ko Olina area and made a reservation to see a Hawaiian show. There wasn't much explanation, and it felt quite chaotic, but I really enjoyed it. It's recommended to bring colored pens since you'll need to secure your seats.

This was an outstanding luau. I had read some reviews complaining that drive there goes through a industrial area. Who cares!? Once you arrive you are in a secluded, gorgeous property on the ocean.
The food and entertainment was outstanding. I went back for seconds on the pig, which they actually roast in the ground the traditional way.
This luau is the best bang for your buck on the island.

This was my 2nd Luau ever and this one was way bigger than I expected. I would say at least 500 people or more! liked the entrance it was beautiful. I did feel like a bit of herd of cattle coming in. We got seated pretty close to the stage which was nice for us non VIP’s.
The pre show activities were ok. We got temporary tattoos and watched a guy climb up a coconut tree.
The pig coming out of the ground was kinda gross but interesting. As far as the actual food goes, it was just OK.
The pork and rice was good. the chicken and fish were bland. The chocolate cake for dessert was dry. The pineapple was good, very juicy.
The show itself was very good & entertaining. It moved fast which we liked. Overall it was a fun experience. My young daughter liked the dancing & we were able to get a picture with some of the dancers

On the last day of our trip, I was moved to tears by a wonderful show that was perfect for concluding our journey. I recommend paying a little extra for seats closer to the front! Although it was quite pricey, it was worth every penny. My mother, who is in her mid-70s, was also deeply impressed.

With the ocean and Diamond Head as a backdrop, the show was based on history and was so moving that even those who aren't fluent in English could appreciate it. The singing and dancing were incredible and truly touched my heart.

The food was plentiful and delicious, but unfortunately, we couldn't finish it all since we don't eat much. The drink tickets included three drinks plus coffee, but we couldn't use all of our drink tickets. Overall, I was very satisfied.

Wasn't worth the money

Too long of a time before the food. The moving from station To station to see the different classes. Should be performed on the stage during wait time. When it was time to eat it was crazy. I was told they would call tables at a time. Didn't happen. It was a stampede..Food was taken away quickly. Just seemed uncoordinated the customer service seemed unapproachable.

Best part was the exit out of the venue.. but wait that was my doing.

Last year, I learned that there was a luau show at the Royal Hawaiian, and I participated for the first time. I was happy to hear my parents, who have seen various luau shows, say that it was great. I definitely want to repeat this experience when I stay in Waikiki. This time, we entered in time for dinner, but I am also interested in events that teach about Hawaiian culture. Unfortunately, the host of the show speaks in English, so I think there might be parts that are lacking for Japanese guests. I would appreciate any improvement suggestions from Beltora.

It was a venue near the Disney Hotel! I had a great time with mini activities before the show and browsing the gift shop. ☺️ I was lucky enough to ride a canoe for free and saw a sea turtle in the beautiful sea nearby!!!

For those celebrating birthdays or anniversaries, you can go up on stage, which allows for various experiences and is a lot of fun! There are also couple dances, so you can fully enjoy the overseas atmosphere, and I highly recommend it. I went in late March in Japan, but it gets chilly at night, so it might be a good idea to keep a cardigan handy.

A packed luau show! 盛り沢山のルアウショー！

Before departing, I couldn't secure a reservation for the Aulani luau, so I found and booked this one instead, and I think it turned out to be a better choice.

We started at 5:00 PM and arrived about 10 minutes early on foot from Aulani. The seaside atmosphere was lovely, and I felt relaxed by the palm trees and the sunset view.

The activities before the show included Hawaiian tattoos (free with tips), stone bowling (free), a spear-throwing game called O'o'i (free), and a paid photo opportunity with tropical birds. After lining up for the Hawaiian tattoo, I managed to try stone bowling and O'o'i once each, just in time. After the experiences, we received shell leis for stone bowling and O'o'i. The paid photo with the tropical birds could be a nice keepsake, but since they were frequently pooping while on my arm, I personally found it a bit much.

We chose the Orchid Plan. I was torn between that and the Deluxe Plan, but since the show is quite long, it was easier for our family with kids to sit further back, making it more comfortable to step out if needed! Honestly, I felt that even the basic plan might have been sufficient.

I was careful about the Cove Card after reading everyone's comments, but I still made a mistake (laughs). It seems that the only place to use it for souvenirs is at the solidly built shop directly opposite the stage. Even with all the warnings I read, I still messed up, so I hope they can improve the clarity a bit… but since it’s not in Japan and my daughter liked the necklace, I’ll cherish the memory. For those who drink alcohol, it’s great, but for others, there’s free water and coffee available besides the welcome drink, so it might be better to check in advance whether the Cove Card can be used.

Honestly, I didn't have high expectations for the food, but it was delicious.

Overall, the plan was packed with experiences, and we had a great time. Thank you!

17:00スタートでアウラニから徒歩で10分前に到着しました。海辺で雰囲気が良く、椰子の木と夕陽の景色に癒されました。

この日のショー前のアクティビティ？は、ハワイアン・タトゥ（無料／チップあり）、ストーン・ボーリング（無料）、槍投げのようなオ・オイ（無料）、南国の鳥？との写真撮影（有料）でした。ハワイアン・タトゥの列に並んでから、ストーン・ボーリングとオ・オイを1回ずつ体験して時間ギリギリでした。ストーン・ボーリングとオ・オイは体験後に貝殻レイ？が貰えます。有料の南国の鳥との撮影は記念にはなるかと思いますが、腕に居る間にかなり頻繁に糞をしていたので、個人的には無理でした。

プランはオーキッドプランにしました。デラックスプランと迷いましたが、ショーがかなり長いので子供の居る我が家は前方ではない方が席を外し易く気が楽でした！むしろ基本プランでも良かったかな？という感じです。

みなさんの書き込みを見て気を付けていたコーブカード…それでも失敗しました（笑）お土産で使えるのはステージとちょうど反対側にあるしっかりとした建物内にあるお土産屋さんのみな気がします。これだけ書き込みを見て気を付けて行った私でさえ失敗してしまうので、もう少し分かり易く改善して欲しいな…と思いますが、日本ではないのですし、娘も気に入ったネックレスだったので良い想い出にします。お酒を飲む方は良いのですが、そうではない方にはウェルカムドリンク以外にもフリーでお水はコーヒーがあるので、コーブカードが使えるかを先に確認して選ばれた方が良いかもしれません。

お食事は正直期待していなかったのですが、美味しかったです。

体験も含めて盛り沢山のプラン、とても楽しかったです。有り難うございました！

We went to the venue with a funny and hospitable bus guide. The venue is located by the sea and has a beautiful view. The welcome drink was delicious, and we enjoyed various events before the show, such as hula lessons and a tree climbing show. The buffet dinner was also tasty. The show on the main stage featured various dances from the Polynesian region, and we had a great time. It can get a bit chilly at night, so I think having a light jacket would be good. There is no guidance in Japanese at all, but I think you can still enjoy it even if you don't understand English. My companion, who doesn't speak any English, also had a great time.

If you're looking to see a hula show, I had my mind set on the Aha Aina at the Royal Hawaiian. Of course, I signed up for the front row seating plan. Since the price difference between regular and front row seats is minimal, I recommend going for the front row.

The show itself was simply amazing! With mesmerizing dances, comedic performances, passionate dances, and powerful fire dances, there was never a dull moment—it flew by in no time.

The dinner included an appetizer, a main course, and a generous dessert platter, so much that I couldn't finish it all. As expected from the Royal Hawaiian Hotel, everything was delicious. The ticket also included three drink vouchers, so I thoroughly enjoyed Mai Tais, Blue Hawaiis, and Piña Coladas.

I was anxious because I hardly understood any English, but it turned out to be okay. The various activities before the show were enjoyable for both kids and adults. You can exchange drinks with the Cove Card.
The show was not only great in content but also had an amazing location. I was moved by the sunset and starry sky, which I had never seen in Japan!

It was a senior trip with three friends, and we were blessed with great weather; the sunset and location were perfect. I was able to listen to Hawaiian music live for the first time in a while, and I had a wonderful time enjoying the elegant dance and meal. Recently, it seems like luau shows have been focusing mainly on hula and fire dancing, so I was really happy to hear Hawaiian songs live. If I get the chance again, I plan to visit.

For the most party, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Paradise Cove luau. The best part was the entertainment. We loved the expression of culture and the dancing performances. Our transportation from the hotel to the venue and back was smooth and executed like clockwork. The venue itself was wonderful tool. The beach and the sunset were important part of the whole experience. Our only disappointment was the food. It just wasn't the best. Serving 4 types of protein for dinner felt like trying to please everyone at the expense of quality. The steamed frozen vegetables were no good, neither was the plain white rice. The salad, which also had 3 different pastas (one better tasting would have been enough), was ok.

Although our seats were not in the front row, we happened to be in front of an aisle, which made it easy to see. The fire show was impressive and amazing. The food was decent, but I think it was sufficient. The tattoo activity had a long line, so if you're interested, I recommend lining up as soon as you arrive at the venue.

席は1番前のブロックではありませんでしたが、たまたま目の前が通路で見やすかったです。ファイヤーショーのレベルが高くて、すごかったです。食事はまあまあでしたが充分な内容かと思います。アクティビティはタトゥーがとても並ぶので、やりたい方は会場に着いたらまず並ぶと良いかと思います。
