There are quite a few ups and downs, and especially the downhill sections can be slippery, so be careful. However, you can work up a nice sweat. The descent is more challenging than Diamond Head due to the steep incline.

Following Kailua last May, this time we went to Hanauma Bay.

For the local tour, we had the following conditions:
- We wanted to arrive by 7 AM, which is the entrance time.
- We wanted to have a longer stay.
- We have our own snorkeling gear, so we needed a tour that didn't include rental costs.

This is why we chose this tour. On the day of the tour, the weather looked questionable, but they kindly agreed to let us start earlier than the scheduled time, which turned out to be a great decision.

Now, about the sea... While the water clarity was high, the reef was disappointing (more like rocky formations than coral), and there were few fish.

Most importantly, it was shallow! Too shallow. If you try to swim, you might end up getting stuck on the rocks. Therefore, wearing long-sleeve rash guards and leggings is a must, along with gloves and marine shoes (fins would be ideal) to avoid injuries.

On the positive side, I've snorkeled in various seas, but this was the first time I saw a red parrotfish, which is a female of the longfin parrotfish species. Be sure to look for it!

Also, since there was a bit of wind, it would be better to have a simple beach tent with pegs instead of just an umbrella.

昨年5月のカイルアに続き、今回はハナウマ湾へ。
現地ツアーの条件として
　・入場時間である7時には現地に着きたい
　・滞在時間を長めにしたい
　・シュノーケル器材一式あるので、費用に含まれていない事
という事で選んだのが今回のツアー。
当日、天候が怪しくなった為、申込時の時刻から早めてもらう事も快諾いただき、大正解でした。
さて、肝心の海ですが・・・・・・透明度は高いものの、リーフが残念（珊瑚というより岩礁）で魚影も少なく・・・・・
何より浅い！浅過ぎです。無理に泳ごうとすると、岩礁に乗り上げます。
なので、長袖ラッシュ＆レギンスはもちろん、手袋とマリンシューズ（できればフィン）が無いと怪我します。
良かった点として、色んな海でシュノーケルしてますが、初めて紅いブダイを見ました。ナガブダイの雌との事。ぜひ見つけてみて下さい。
それと少し風があるので、パラソルではなく、ペグ付き簡易ビーチテントがあると良いですよ。

It was a very impressive and worthwhile show, just as the reviews said. It's definitely worth seeing at least once. I think the seats in the front and back offer a good view of the whole performance since the venue is quite small. It was completely full, showing how popular it is. I was seated to the side, so my neck got tired.

It's an English tour, but as long as there's one person in the group who understands English, there shouldn't be any problems. (This is because there are explanations about the video on the bus and the meeting times.)

On the way there, we watched a video about entering Hanauma Bay, and the driver shared interesting information about Hawaii. Once we arrived, we were able to pass through the reception quickly since we had already watched the video, and from there, we had free time until the meeting time.

The moment we arrived, the view was incredibly beautiful, and I felt it was worth coming as soon as I saw it. I brought my own snorkeling gear and swam to see the fish. However, there are many rocks in shallow areas, and I got injured while being focused on the fish. Everyone, please be careful.

We took the bus back after 1 PM, and the time flew by. I would love to use this service again when I visit Hawaii next time. It was a lot of fun. Thank you!

英語のツアーですがグループ内に1人英語がわかる人が入れば問題ないです。
(バスの中でのビデオや、集合時間などの説明があるため)
向かっているバスの中で、ハナウマベイに入るためのビデオと、運転手さんがハワイのことを面白く説明してくれました。
着いてからはビデオ鑑賞が済んでいるので受付をすぐに通過でき、そこからは集合時間まで自由時間です。
着いた瞬間にとても綺麗な景色が見えるので最高でした。見た瞬間に来てよかったと思えます。
シュノーケルを持参したので魚を見て泳ぎました。ただ、浅い所に岩が多いので魚に夢中になっていたら怪我をしました。みなさん気を付けて下さい。
帰りは13時過ぎのバスで帰ったのですが、時間はあっという間でした。
次ハワイに訪れた際も利用したいです。

Overall, this is an excellent option for anyone wanting an easy, affordable, and meaningful visit to Pearl Harbor.

The 5:00 AM pickup made it easy to reach the trail before the crowds and heat, and the sunrise views from the summit were absolutely worth the early wake-up with rewarding panoramic views of Waikiki and the coastline at the top.

We visited the North Shore with its beautiful beaches and surf spots, drove along the east side with coastal views, and stopped at the Dole Plantation for delicious pineapple treats and souvenirs.

The cage was secure and the guides stayed nearby the entire time to ensure everyone was comfortable. We saw several sharks circling which made the experience even more incredible.

Each village offered something unique, with engaging demonstrations, performances, and friendly staff who shared their traditions and stories.

The scenery was just breathtaking, with views of the mountains and valleys used in many films. As well, our guide was friendly sharing interesting facts about the ranch and movie history along the way.

Everything was well organized, and the pace of the tour was perfect for enjoying the scenery and taking photos. A great choice for anyone looking for a calm, scenic, and culturally meaningful activity on Oahu.

The trails had a mix of mud, dirt, and open viewpoints, and of course dinosaurs which made the ride even more fun and adventurous.

The Waikiki Trolley Hop-On Hop-Off Tour was a very convenient and enjoyable way to explore Honolulu and the surrounding areas at our own pace.

This was a very memorable and educational experience as well as emotional and meaningful, and we appreciated learning more about the history surrounding Pearl Harbor.

Highly recommend for anyone wanting to see the highlights of Oahu without the stress of driving as this was an excellent way to experience the island’s beauty, culture, and local spots all in one day.

The day was well organized with plenty of photo opportunities and comfortable transportation

We saw colorful tropical fish, coral reefs, shipwrecks, and sunken airplanes!

Visiting the Arizona Memorial was very moving and educational, and the guides shared a lot of interesting history throughout the tour

The buffet and the traditional hula and luau show were amazing. I went alone, so I was a bit worried at first, but everyone sitting next to me was Japanese, and we enjoyed the meal while watching the show together. It was a really great night!

It feels like there are fewer flights compared to before COVID, but it's convenient for shopping, and just being on the ride is enjoyable. I would like to use it again when I go to Hawaii.

コロナ前と比べると便数は少ない気もするけれど、買い物に行くのも便利だし、ただ乗っているだけでも楽しい。

I was glad to book a tour with transportation included here! I was worried because the entrance reservations sell out quickly, just two days in advance, so I decided to book this one even though it was a bit pricey. The bus pickup and entrance were incredibly smooth and comfortable. For the return bus, it was originally scheduled for the 3 PM slot, but they were able to accommodate a change to the 1 PM slot on the day of!

Hanauma Bay is fun with lots of fish even in the shallow areas. Although it was already May, the sunlight was weak in the morning, and it was cold due to the strong wind, so I would like to visit again during a warmer time or season. Thank you very much!

こちらで送迎付きツアーを予約して正解でした！2日前の入場予約がすぐ売り切れるとのことで不安だったので、少しお高いですがこちらを予約しました。バスのお迎えも入場もスムーズすぎて快適でした。帰りのバスは、元々15時台の予定でしたが当日13時台に変更も対応していただけました！
ハナウマ湾は浅瀬でもお魚沢山で楽しいです。5月に入っていましたが、午前中は日差しが弱く、風も強くて寒かったため、次はもう少し暖かい時期か時間に行きたいと思います。ありがとうございました！

The buffet food was delicious, and after going around once, I was completely full and very satisfied, including the desserts. The hula on stage was wonderful, and the intensity of the fire dance was especially impressive. I felt that the power of the fire dance increased even more with multiple performers.

ビュッフェの料理はどれも美味しく、デザートも含め一周したらお腹いっぱいで大満足でした。
ステージのフラも素敵でとくにファイヤーダンスの迫力は凄かったです。複数人でのファイヤーダンスだとさらに迫力が増すなと感じました。

It was a participation in weather that had rain for the first time in 20 years. The sea was gray, the water was above our chests, and the white sand was invisible. Moreover, due to the extreme cold, we ate cup noodles on the returning boat (laughs). By the way, both of us had slight stomach issues from the cold. On bad weather days, definitely cancel!!

２０年ぶりの雨模様という天候での参加でした。
海は灰色、水は胸以上、白い砂は何も見えず、さらにあまりの寒さに、戻る船でカップヌードル食べました(笑)ちなみに２人とも、寒さでややおなか壊しました。

Had an amazing excursion with Kaneohe! One of the absolute best days spent on the water. Booked with a group of 8 for the afternoon sail, played vball, snorkelled, paddle boarded and a huge thanks to Cal who took us out for a quick boat trip to see turtles and lucky enough to see a tiger shark!! Amazing music by the very talented musicians on board, we sang along to all their songs.. could’ve sailed for all day long! Huge thanks to the entire crew for one of the most memorable days we’ve ever had on vacation xo

The staff really got everyone excited, making for a very enjoyable atmosphere on the cruise. The view of the hotel and Diamond Head from the venue is exceptional.

We were in Hawaii in mid April right after the major storms and while they were still experiencing a significant amount of rain over what is typical for that time of year. Despite that, this excursion was still one of the major highlights of our trip.

My husband and I had done this on a previous trip to Hawaii and had such a wonderful time that we decided to do both morning and afternoon half day packages and to bring a friend this time around.

The water, while a bit chillier than last time was no where near intolerable, and the fish to feed were plentiful. The staff is very attentive and went above and beyond to ensure that we had a memorable experience.

**I want to highlight that this portion is not a guaranteed experience, nor is it typically included in the package we paid for, but want to include it as an example of how far above and beyond the staff will go to ensure a fantastic experience. They have a wonderful array of activities to do, but the wildlife interaction was the primary reason my group was there and the staff noticed this. Because I had booked both half day experiences and that was our primary interest they took us on a special boat ride to see the sea turtles AND we also got to see manta rays which normally are not on this side of the island. The person driving the boat was exceptional and very informative if you asked questions. She also knew how to ensure you got the most out of seeing the animals without disturbing their natural environment which I really appreciated as an observer. It was truly a once in a lifetime experience and it wouldn't have happened without the wonderful and thoughtful staff.

Money well spent and already planning to do the same again the next time we are in Hawaii.

I think some people might worry about seasickness, but perhaps because I was enjoying the distant scenery, I was completely fine. The crew was friendly and kept us entertained.

It was a valuable experience that I usually can't have. I was able to take photos at various spots, which made for great memories. The shuttle bus was also comfortable, allowing me to sit back and relax.

普段できない貴重な体験でした。
