We were able to participate with our small child, and it was a fun boat experience without any significant rocking of the boat. The interior of the boat was clean and spacious, providing a calm atmosphere along with light snacks and drinks.

At first, we had a brief explanation about whales on the first floor and enjoyed some snacks, after which we were free to move up to the fourth floor to look for whales and enjoy the view from the boat.

Although we weren't able to see any whales this time, we received a ticket to board again during this season. The crew members were all very kind, making for a delightful boat trip.

初めに一階部分で鯨の説明や軽食をとりその後自由に四階までのフロアーを移動してクジラの確認や船からの景色を楽しみました
今回は鯨を見ることができませんでしたが今シーズン中の再度乗船券をいただきました
乗員の方みなさん親切にしていただき楽しい船旅ができました

We didn't see any whales, but we had a great time. The naturalist on board was very knowledgeable and we learned a great deal about whales.
The weather was pretty good. We had clear views of Honolulu -- Waikiki and Diamond Head.
The process to check in and check out was smooth and fast.

This is my first visit since elementary school. After learning about the nostalgia and history, the tour is a completely different experience. You can also visit the surrender deck, and although the signing documents are replicas, you can see them. This is the only place where you can meet heroes who participated in the Gulf War. Don't worry about your wife or girlfriend's expressions; just keep moving forward. Make sure to make a reservation.

小学生以来の訪問。懐かしさと歴史を一通り学んだ後の、見学では一味も二味も違う。
サレンダーデッキも見学でき、調印文章も複製ではあるが、みることができる。湾岸戦争まで参加している英雄に会うことができるのはここしかない。奥さんや彼女の顔色を伺ってはいけない、ひたすら前進あるのみ。予約するべし

The performance was outstanding , they were engaging from the moment you walked in and out. The food taste good however was cold with exception to the pork and chicken thighs were hot, but sweet potatoes, noodles and rice were cold and we had Royal package and first in line to eat so I was surprised to have those few items cold, the rolls were so delicious so grab 2

I could tell there were whales, but I couldn't see them very well. The staff provided warm hospitality, making my experience enjoyable. The banana cake for a light snack had a homemade feel and was delicious. You can choose between tea and coffee.

On this day, the sky was completely covered with clouds and there was a strong wind. It started to rain midway, and by the time we disembarked, there was a full-blown storm. Perhaps due to the strong winds, the waves were high and there were whitecaps, making it difficult to spot whales. However, there were several announcements on the ship about whale sightings, and my husband and I were able to see a spout once each. A few Japanese passengers who were on board with us also mentioned they saw a spout just once. Does seeing a spout mean you've seen a whale? I wonder if it was the right decision to set sail in that weather. If asked whether I would like to go again, I would say I do not want to. Even if the weather were good, it seems there is a set distance from which you can approach the whales, so I think it would be difficult to actually see the whales themselves. The coffee and light snacks were delicious (although the boat rocked so much that the coffee spilled...).

この日は空一面の雲に強い風、途中から雨が降り始め、下船するころには大嵐になっていました。強い風のためか波が高く白波が立ち、クジラ発見には難しい条件だったと思いますが、船内に何回かクジラ発見の放送が流れ、私たち夫婦は潮吹きを１度づつ見ることができました。一緒に乗っていた日本の方たち数人も潮吹きを１度だけ見たと言っていました。潮吹きを見たらクジラを見たことになるのか？あの天候で船を出すことは正解なのか？疑問です。また乗ってみたいかと言われれば、もう乗りたくありません。天候が良かったとしても、クジラに近寄れる距離が決まっているらしく、クジラ本体を見ることは難しいのではないかと思いました。コーヒーと軽食は美味しかったです（コーヒーがこぼれるほど揺れましたが・・・）

Husband was a US Navy vet and wanted to make sure he paid his respects at the Memorial. Had just enough time and we're not rushed.

My family loved this tour. The activities we fun and well managed. Kevin was a great tour guide.

We really enjoyed Stephanie. Knowledgeable, fun and kind.

My husband and I participated in this trip for our honeymoon.

Thanks to the favorable weather, the boat didn't sway, and we were able to enjoy the beautiful sea and the views of Waikiki and Diamond Head from the water.

As for the whales, we were able to see them multiple times during the trip. However, they were all quite far away, and we could only see their spouts and a bit of their black backs and tails. I think it was great just to see them, but if I had to say something, I wish we could have seen them a little closer.

新婚旅行で夫と2人で参加しました。

天気に恵まれたため船が揺れることもなく、綺麗な海や海からのワイキキ、ダイヤモンドヘッドを眺めることができました。

肝心のクジラですが、乗船中何度も見ることができました。しかしいずれも遠いところで、潮吹きと黒い背中と尾鰭が少し見える程度。姿を見ることができただけでも良かったのだと思いますが、強いて言えば、もう少し近くで見れると良かったなと思います。

Yesterday, at the beginning of February, I went on an electric bike tour at Kualoa Ranch. It was an amazing experience. However...

1. Don't be mistaken thinking it's a small tour. They pick you up with two large buses from hotels in Honolulu. I think many people participate because there are various activities. Even though I waited quite early in the lobby at the pickup location, the guide didn't come. It seemed I had to go to the bus. After some time, the bus driver came, possibly having kept other customers waiting. Also, it's important to note that you need an English ID with a photo. Without a passport, you might face strict cancellation. A Japanese driver's license won't work. Since I didn't have one, I managed to get on the bus with just my name and credit card. It feels a bit uneasy to carry a passport, but that's apparently the best option.

2. Even if it's sunny in Honolulu, it started raining quite heavily on the way to Kualoa Ranch in the north. I think the moist sea breeze from the north hits the mountains, making it prone to rain. It was fine at first, but then it turned into a downpour. If I had known, I would have brought rain gear... I got completely soaked and cold, and ended up buying a T-shirt and shorts on the way back. The mud splattered, making my shoes and clothes dirty. When I returned to the hotel, I washed what I was wearing. It's better not to wear nice shirts. Even if it's sunny in Honolulu, make sure to bring a change of clothes.

3. Most people are probably not used to electric bikes. You pedal, and while it's easy on hills with turbo mode, going downhill can get too fast if you don't change the settings. The tires are thick, but there are many gravel paths, making it hard to ride. In fact, someone fell while going downhill. They were covered in blood, but the real injury was a significant wound on their palm. They probably went downhill in turbo mode and got too fast. It looked like a wound that would need stitches at the hospital. They had to retire midway, and a pickup vehicle was needed, leaving everyone waiting in the rain. Careful driving to avoid going too fast is essential! It would be a shame for a trip to go wrong...

4. The magnificent scenery will leave unforgettable memories. Many movies have been filmed here. The staff is also very friendly, and I highly recommend it.

However, don't underestimate it thinking it's just a beginner's bike tour...

昨日、2月初めに、クアロアランチで電動バイクツアーに行ってきました。
最高の体験でした。
ただし・・・　

１．小規模のツアーと思ったら大間違い
大きなバス2台で、ホノルルのホテルを回って連れて行ってくれます。
様々なアクティビティがあるから、たくさんの人が参加するのだと思う。
ずいぶん早くピックアップ場所のロビーで待っていても、ガイドは来てくれませんでした。
バスのところに行かなければならなかったようです。時間がたってから、たまりかねてバスの運転手がやってきて、他のお客さんを待たせたかも。
また、大事なのは、顔写真が映った英語のIDが必要です。
パスポートがないと厳しくキャンセルになるかも。
日本の免許証ではだめ。
持ってなかったので、名前とクレジットカードで何とかバスに乗れた。
パスポートを持っていくのは、気が引けるけど、それが一番らしい。

２．ホノルルが晴れていても、北のクアロア・ランチは、途中からかなり強い雨が降りだした。
湿った北からの海風が山にぶつかってお雨が降りやすいのだと思う。
最初はよかったけれど、途中から土砂降り。わかっていれば、雨具を持っていくけど・・・
ずぶ濡れになって、寒く、帰りにTシャツと半ズボンを購入した。
泥が跳ねて、靴も服も汚れる。ホテルに帰って、来ていたものを洗った。
いいシャツは着ていかないほうがいい。ホノルルが晴れていても、着替えを持っていくこと。

３、電動自転車は、おそらく大部分の人は慣れていない。こぐのだけど、坂道はターボで楽ちんだけど、下りは、設定を変えないとスピードが出すぎる。太いタイヤだけど、砂利道が多く、運転しにくい。
実際、下りで転倒した人がいた。血だらけになっていたが、実際は手掌に結構な傷ができていた。おそらく、ターボのままで下って、スピードが出すぎたのだと思う。病院での縫合が必要そうな傷だった。
途中でリタイヤとなり、迎えの車が必要で、皆雨の中、待機することになった。
スピードを出しすぎない慎重な運転が必要！
せっかくの旅行が・・・

４、雄大な景観は、忘れがたい思い出になります。
たくさんの映画の舞台になっています。
スタッフもとてもフレンドリーで、お勧めです。

ただし、初心者コースの自転車ツアーと思って甘く見ないこと・・・・

I have to say I really enjoyed the Chief's Luau! After I got past the fact that it was situated in a water park, and got to the actual venue, I was able to forget there was anything there but the Luau! The grounds and setting were lovely, and I had a beautiful view of the show. The food was plentiful and delicious, and the entertainment some of the best I've seen at a luau, and I've been to several. For authentic entertainment and a good experience, this one was great!!

I was worried, but I'm glad I was able to see the whales properly. The explanations in Japanese were easy to understand. I recommend it.

心配でしたが、クジラがちゃんと見られてよかったです。日本語の説明もあって分かりやすかったです。オススメです。

A Japanese person named Momo guided us through the battleship Missouri. She was very kind and attentive. I was able to deeply feel the history, and it was a great experience.

戦艦ミズーリの中を、日本人のモモさんという方が案内してくれました。とても親切で丁寧でした。
歴史をじっくり感じられ、良い体験をしました。

I participated in the whale watching tour on the Star of Honolulu with a pickup from Waikiki (with snacks and drinks included). There were many participants on the large boat. Even though it was the rainy season in February, we were blessed with good weather and enjoyed the views of the blue sky and the deep blue sea from the boat. We also saw whales multiple times, including some mother and calf pairs, and got to witness them spouting water. It was a very satisfying whale watching experience. If you're coming to Waikiki, I highly recommend you join this tour!

ワイキキ送迎を付けてホエールウォッチ　スターオブホノルル号（軽食＆ドリンク付き）に参加しました。
大型船で参加者もたくさんいました。
雨季の２月での参加でしたがお天気にも恵まれ、青く晴れた空と真っ青な海が広がる船からの景色を楽しめました。
またクジラも何度も現れて潮吹きも何度も見られました。
親子のクジラも現れ大満足のホエールウォッチングになりました。
ワイキキに来る方はぜひ参加してみてください！オススメです！

I participated in a trip with my mother and daughter. We arrived at Aloha Tower right at 8:00, but we couldn't board immediately and had to wait outside. The port's restroom was locked and unavailable for use.

The large ship has four decks, and after boarding, there was an explanation of whale watching in English, along with the offering of pineapple banana bread, coffee, tea, and water. I recommend going to get your food early as there is a line.

It took a while before we spotted any whales, but the view of Waikiki and Diamond Head from the sea was beautiful, making the cruise satisfying. After a while, we saw a whale spouting water, and we could see its tail and dorsal fin. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see any big jumps.

The trip was on a Saturday, and we were able to disembark around 11:00, which allowed us to take a taxi to the Kaka'ako Farmers Market.

母、娘の二人旅で参加しました。
8時ちょうどにアロハタワーに着きましたがすぐには乗船できず外で待ち時間がありました。港のトイレは鍵が掛かっており利用できませんでした。
4階まである大きな船で、乗船後英語でホエールウォッチングの説明がありパイナップルバナナブレッドとコーヒー・紅茶・お水の提供があります。並ぶので早めに取りに行くことをおすすめします。
沖へ出るまでなかなかくじらは現れなかったですが、海から見えるワイキキの街やダイヤモンドヘッドが美しくクルーズとして満足できました。
しばらくすると潮を吹いているクジラがおり、尾びれや背びれが見えました。残念ながら大ジャンプは見られませんでした。
参加日は土曜日で、11時頃には下船できたのでタクシーでカカアコファーマーズマーケットへ行く事ができました。

I have a tendency to get motion sickness, so I appreciated that this boat is large and has minimal rocking. We encountered whales a few times (and dolphins too). They explain which direction to look by comparing it to a clock, which makes it easy to understand. I also thought it was a nice cruise to see Waikiki and Diamond Head. However, since we didn't see the whales up very close, it's better not to have too high expectations in that regard.

乗り物酔いしやすい体質なので、こちらの船は大きく、揺れが少ないのがよかったです
クジラには何回か遭遇できました(イルカにも)
時計に例えてどっちの方角にいるかいってくださるのでわかりやすいです
ワイキキやダイアモンドヘッドをみるクルージングとしてもありだと思いました
クジラはすごく近くで見られた訳ではないので、その辺は期待しすぎない方がよいです

I participated with my mother, and it was so much fun.

Our tour guide, Jonah, was very kind, funny, and helpful. During the drive, he shared a lot of local stories and recommended some great restaurants.

The Diamond Head hike was more physically demanding than I imagined, so it's better to wear workout clothes (I wanted to dress up for all the photo spots afterward, but it was definitely the right choice to go in something comfortable for exercising).

The weather was great on the day we participated, and since we were the only ones booked, the guide took a lot of photos for us. At Sunset Beach, I was really happy to see a sea turtle.

It was a tour that my mother was very satisfied with. I definitely want to recommend it to my friends.

母と２名で参加したのですが、とにかく楽しかったです。

ツアーガイドのジョナさんがとても優しくて面白くて親切でした。
車で移動する途中にたくさんローカルな話をしてくださったり、おすすめのご飯屋さんや人気なご飯屋さんを教えてくださりました。

ダイヤモンドヘッドハイキングは想像より体力を消耗するので、運動着で行ったほうがいいです(その後いろいろな映えスポットで写真を撮るのでおしゃれしたい気持ちもありましたが、運動できる格好で行って正解でした)

参加した日は天気が良く、たまたま私たちしか予約がなかったため、ガイドさんがたくさん写真を撮ってくださいました。
サンセットビーチでは、ウミガメを見ることができてとても嬉しかったです。

母も大満足のツアーでした。周りの友人にも是非お勧めしたいと思います。

Wonderful time!! Beautiful view of Waikiki and sunset. Also a whale sighting.

It was unfortunate that we encountered wind and rain during the rainy season.

First, everyone freely brought pineapple banana cake, coffee, and tea from the front of the first floor and enjoyed them at their seats. The cinnamon-flavored pineapple banana cake was very delicious.

After that, we listened to an explanation about whales using a translation app on our phones. We were then allowed to move freely up to the fourth floor of the ship, so we carefully made our way to the top observation deck and enjoyed the view.

Fortunately, the rain wasn't too heavy, so we were able to enjoy the scenery of Honolulu. We could see Diamond Head and the cityscape from the sea side. It was particularly meaningful for me since I had hiked up Diamond Head the day before on the same optional tour with Veltra, which took about 30 minutes.

The waves were high, and although we couldn't see the whales, we were able to spot their spouts several times. We saw the spouts relatively close by, and all the passengers were excitedly pointing at them. If the weather had been better, we might have seen even more.

The shuttle service was only available in the morning, allowing us to spend the afternoon leisurely, which was nice.

雨季の風と雨の日に当たってしまったのが残念でした。
まずは各自、自由に一階前方にあるパイナップルバナナケーキやコーヒー、紅茶を持って来て、座席で頂きました。シナモンの効いたパイナップルバナナケーキはとても美味しかったです。
そのあとクジラについての説明を携帯の翻訳アプリを使って聞きました。その後は船の４階まで自由に移動してよいとのことだったので、船の揺れに気をつけながら最上の展望階に上がり、眺めていました。
ただ雨は大半は大丈夫だったので、ホノルルの風景は楽しめました。ダイヤモンドヘッドや街並が海から側から眺められます。ダイヤモンドヘッドは前日同じベルトラさんのオプショナルツアーで、３０分かけて登った後だったので感慨深いものがありました。
波が高く、クジラは姿は確認出来なかったのですが、潮吹きを何度か見られました。割と近くで何度か潮吹きが見られたので、乗船客の皆んなが指を差して盛り上がっていました。天候に恵まれれば更に良く見えたかもしれません。
送迎付きは午前中だけで体験できるので、午後も有効にゆったり過ごせるので楽でした。

I noticed the spouting from a distance and was able to see the back and tail fin as well! I happened to be in a spot where I could see it, but there were people on the same shuttle bus who said they missed it, so I wish there were more real-time broadcasts in Japanese.

たまたま見れる場所にいたので気づきましたが、同じ送迎バスの中で見れなかったと言っていた人がいたので日本語リアル放送がもっとあればいいなと思いました。

First of all, the driver was great. Being Japanese made me feel at ease. Thanks to their service-oriented spirit and the various information they provided, I was able to fully enjoy the North Shore even in a short time. It was my first time horseback riding, and I was worried, but the thorough explanation of the precautions in the vehicle allowed everything to proceed smoothly. The local female staff were also kind, and my son, who is in the third year of middle school, enjoyed horseback riding as well. He said it was the best part of our trip. I was also satisfied with the delicious restaurants they recommended. The ocean was very beautiful, and I would love to go to the North Shore again.

乗馬も初めてで心配でしたが、車内でしっかり注意事項を説明していただいたお陰でスムーズに進行出来ました。
現地の女性スタッフの方々も親切で、中学3年の息子でも乗馬を楽しめました。今回の旅で一番良かったと言っています。
食事も美味しいお店をご紹介いただいたお陰で満足出来ました。
海がとてもキレイで、もう一度ノースショアに行きたいですねー。

Our driver was wonderful and funny. I appreciate that he called us to tell us he had arrived at the pick-up spot. We didn’t see the van pull up and he was parked behind us. The hike is demanding especially in the rain. It was quite slippery on the way down. We had already purchased ponchos, but our driver had some for sale. We were able to complete the hike easily within the timeframe, and had time to stop in the gift shop. Just be aware of the weather and plan accordingly. Good shoes are a must!

It was authentic and highly entertaining, and my 6-year-old daughter was very happy. It was the best luau I've seen so far. I will go again next year. The food was not something to expect.

It was far away, but we were able to see mother and baby whales. The recorded announcements were in Japanese, but the direction where the whales appeared was announced in English, so it might be good to follow everyone’s movements! There was coffee and banana cake available.

遠かったですが、親子クジラを見れました。録音アナウンスは日本語も流れてましたが、クジラが出現した方向は英語で言われるのでみんなの動きに合わせるといいかと！

I participated because I wanted to see whales. I was able to enjoy watching the whales swimming alongside the boat. Although I didn't see any jumping whales, I could feel the presence of these large animals as they spouted water and showed their tails, making it a tour filled with the dynamism of nature.

The view from the boat was also very nice, allowing me to enjoy a panoramic view of Waikiki, the mountains, and Diamond Head from the sea side. The pineapple banana cake on board was also very delicious.

クジラが見たくて参加しました。クジラが船と並走して泳いでいる様子を楽しむことができました。
ジャンプするクジラの様子は見られませんでしたが、潮をふいていたり、尻尾を出したり、大きな動物の存在を感じることができ自然のダイナミックさがあるツアーでした。
船内からの景色もとても良く、ワイキキ、山脈、ダイヤモンドヘッドなど、海から陸側のパノラマビューも同時に楽しむことができました。
船内でのパイナップルバナナケーキもとても美味しかったです。

I found this tour while looking for a morning tour of Diamond Head. It was great that we could visit various places not only in the morning but also further east and north.

Accessing Diamond Head early in the morning is difficult for individuals, so the transportation service was very helpful. They also provided handheld lights, which made the climb much more reassuring. I was deeply moved to see the sunrise.

During the trip, we stopped at various dining spots, and I was able to discover many delicious places that would have been hard to find on my own.

I was very satisfied to see various beaches and coastlines. I was also thrilled to unexpectedly see a sea turtle.

In addition to nature, we had a reasonable amount of free time for shopping, which I enjoyed.

Along the way, we received interesting information about the scenery from the car windows, making the sightseeing experience much more enjoyable than if we had explored on our own.

朝のダイヤモンドヘッドのツアーを探していたところこのツアーを見つけました。
朝だけでなくそのまま東や北の方まで色々な場所を回れてとても良かったです。

ダイヤモンドヘッドは朝早くからアクセスするのが個人では難しかったので、送迎もあって助かりました。手持ちライトの貸し出しもしてくださり安心して登頂できました。
日の出が見られてとても感動しました。

移動途中にも色々なご飯スポットに立ち寄ってくださり、個人ではたどり着くのが難しい美味しいお店にもたくさん巡り会えました。

またさまざまなビーチや海岸線を見ることができて大満足です。
たまたまウミガメも見ることができて嬉しかったです。

自然だけでなく、ショッピングの自由時間も程よく取ってくださり買い物も楽しめました。

道中も車窓からの景色の豆知識も教えてもらえるので、自分たちだけで観光するよりも楽しく観光することができました。

You can't start your trip to Hawaii without this trolley! It's a must-have since you can enjoy the nice Hawaiian breeze while shopping and visiting tourist spots.

このトロリーがなければハワイ旅行は始まらない！ハワイの気持ちいい風を感じながらショッピングや観光地に行けるので絶対必須☆

I participated using the hotel shuttle service. A large bus came, and it was very comfortable.
Breakfast was very delicious.
I was able to see a mother and baby whale!
Since it was a four-story boat, it was interesting to see the whales from the top and from below, as the view was different.
The top deck swayed quite a bit, so I think those who are prone to motion sickness might need some medication.

There were no staff members on board who spoke Japanese, but the necessary announcements were made in Japanese, so it wasn't much of a problem.

The view of the streets of Hawaii from the boat was also very beautiful.

ホテルからの送迎を利用して参加しました。大きめのバスがきてとても快適でした。
朝ごはんはとても美味しかったです。
親子くじらを見ることができました！
4階だての船なので一番上からみるのと下からみるのとで鯨の見え方が違うので面白かったです。
一番上は結構揺れるので酔いやすい人は酔い止めが必要かと思います。

船内のスタッフさんは日本語を話せる人はいませんでしたが、必要な船内放送は日本語で流れるのでそこまで問題はありません。

船からみるハワイの街並みもとても綺麗でした。
