The ship provided light snacks (coffee, tea, pineapple cake). The pineapple cake was delicious. The actual sailing time was about 2 hours. On this day, we were able to see two humpback whales. The whales came to the surface and spouted water at intervals of about 10 to 15 minutes, so I enjoyed chatting with the foreign people next to me (although I only understood about one-third of the conversation).

I didn't feel much movement while the ship was moving, but when the ship was stopped during whale watching, there was some rocking, so I think those who are prone to seasickness might need motion sickness medication. When the ship returned to the port, there were a few people on board celebrating their birthdays, and everyone sang "Happy Birthday," which felt very international and was really nice.

I was looking for a tour to stop by the Nu'uanu Pali Lookout since I didn't rent a car. Our guide Marlon provided a wealth of information about Hawaii, and we were able to efficiently visit various sightseeing spots across Oahu, which made me very satisfied. Since it was an English-only tour, there were no other Japanese participants, and I felt a bit anxious as it was my first time in Hawaii. However, Marlon spoke English that was easy for Japanese speakers to understand and was fluent in Japanese as well, so having Marlon as a guide is the best for Japanese visitors! The malasadas were delicious, and both the bus and restroom were clean, and the driving was excellent.

My husband and I participated in this trip for our honeymoon.

Thanks to the favorable weather, the boat didn't sway, and we were able to enjoy the beautiful sea and the views of Waikiki and Diamond Head from the water.

As for the whales, we were able to see them multiple times during the trip. However, they were all quite far away, and we could only see their spouts and a bit of their black backs and tails. I think it was great just to see them, but if I had to say something, I wish we could have seen them a little closer.

1. Don't be mistaken if you think it's a small tour. They pick you up with two large buses from hotels in Honolulu. I think many people participate because there are various activities. Even though I waited quite a while in the lobby at the pickup location, the guide didn't come. It seemed I had to go to the bus myself. After some time, the bus driver came, possibly having kept other customers waiting. Also, it's important to note that you need an English ID with a photo. Without a passport, you might face strict cancellation policies. A Japanese driver's license won't work. Since I didn't have one, I managed to get on the bus with just my name and credit card.
