This time, I visited an island other than Oahu for the first time. Although it was a tour that didn't stop at the coast or beaches, I was able to visit various sightseeing spots and once again experienced the richness of Hawaii's nature. The valley is breathtaking, so I definitely want you to see it. Along the way, my flight to Honolulu was canceled, and due to the arrangements for the replacement flight, I couldn't visit the last sightseeing spot. Despite the tight schedule, the guide and local staff were very accommodating, and I was able to board the plane safely. I can only express my gratitude.

今回は初めてオアフ島以外の島に来てみました。
海岸やビーチには立ち寄らないツアーでしたが、いろいろな観光スポットに行けて、改めてハワイの自然の豊かさに触れました。
渓谷は絶景ですので、ぜひ見てもらいたいです。
途中、ホノルル行きの飛行機がキャンセルになり、代わりの飛行機の都合で最後の見学場所は見れませんでした。
時間もギリギリの中、ガイドさんと現地スタッフの対応がとてもよく、無事飛行機に乗れました。
ただただ、感謝しかありません。

The Grand Circle Island tour is a great way to have a compact adventure all in one day. It was full of beautiful scenic views of cliffsides, beaches, cooled lava formations, waterfalls, volanic crater, and so much more. You experience a hike through a rainforest with some inclines at times, volcanic steam vents that feel like you're in a sauna, turtle viewing at Black Sand beach, cliffsides overlooking crashing waves, a coffee harvesting & processing walkthrough, a lava tube cave, and much more. Some hikes can be a bit challenging if you have mobility problems but our tour guide Brent is so accommodating and on the HNP Kilauea hike, you can ride along with him to the top of the viewing area if you're not able to do the short walk. Additionally, Brent is not just a tour guide, he will transport you to another time. He wove an amazing storytelling of Native Hawaiin history into the scenic mountains, beaches, historical battleground sites, trees, buildings, fantastical stories, and rich cultural backdrop. I walked away with a deep appreciation for how the Hawaiian island and culture came to be. This was an amazing way to experience the island!

Really easy way to get to see so many fabulous spots around the Big Island without needing to drive and look at directions all day!!

Did a day trip from Oahu to Kauai. So included a couple flights, made for a long day but interesting.

Rosario (driver/leader) was quite knowledgeable, talked about his favourite things and locals, had suggestions for what to eat for lunch at the chicken in a barrel.

Very little hiking. I used this more as a rest day, traveling by bus was easy and Rosario was good with time allocations at each stop.

Stopped at the local blowhole, coffee makers, hanapepe,and various points up the canyon and the lodge at the top.

Would recommend bringing own water, not many places to get, so money for a beer for lunch, and snacks for at the lodge.

Flying one hour to a volcano that isn't active isn't worth the effort, time or money. We also saw 2 waterfalls, a lava tunnel, a lava field and Hilo, the town with the airport and closest to the volcano park. But again all not worth the time, effort and money to go. Our guide, Dexter was good but he can't make up for the missing attractions.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Grand Circle Island Tour. We had the opportunity to visit so many different parts of the island and experience the true beauty of the Big Island. The tour was well planned and Neil was an amazing host!
I definitely recommend that all visitors try this tour at least once!

We went to a black sand beach, bakery ( try the malasadas they're amazing), craters, lava field, lava tube, and steam vents. We didn't get to try their lunch because someone in the group was car sick(hard to eat when someone is vomiting right in front of you)
For the helicopter ride we went down the coastline instead of over the volcanoes due to weather around there. The pilot was amazing! He was very knowledgeable, funny, and friendly.
This tour would have been a lot better if it wasn't raining (rains there a lot so bring a raincoat just incase) and we didn't have someone who got carsick. That wasn't the tours fault and I definitely would do this tour again.

This experience was amazing our tour guide Dexter was great explaining everything very well accomodating everyone’s needs would highly recommend this tour.

Our quide, Dexter was excellent. He was very thoughtful and professional. He made an otherwise rainy, gloomy day a fun day. The tour gave us a great overview.

Perfectly organised day, from communication prior to the day to everyone involved in sny part of the tour.
The guide was great, hugely knowledgeable and interesting.
The helicopter trip was perhaps the most incredible thing I have ever done. The ground crew were superb and the pilot made it the best trip ever. After waiting 30 years to do this tour it didn't disappoint.
Could not recommend it highly enough.

Took this tour 6 years ago and had the most amazing experience. So I had to do it again. This tour offers the best of Big Island because you get to see Akaka Falls and Rainbow Falls. We saw lots of turtles at black sand beach and an actual rainbow at Rainbow Falls! Our guide Brent was very informative and helpful.

Our tour guide Ron was very informative during our trip with him. Had a great day. Would recommend the tour to my friends if they were looking for a day of adventure.

The timings and organisation of the tour were good. We were picked up from the airport and taken to see the Volcano National Park sites with a good guide who kept us informed and was accommodating of our needs. Unfortunately you can't schedule nature and we didn't see any volcanic activity apart from a little steam, but it was still interesting, especially the lava tube.
We had a helicopter tour with Blue Hawaiian Helicopters to finish off with, but I will not review that part, I will review their admin however. We really wanted a copy of the video of our flight as it was for a 50th birthday, but due to a technical difficulty could not get it at the time. We were told to just drop them a line, but after several emails and calls, still nothing - very disappointed in them.

Dexter was a great guide with tons of information about not only the specific tour items but also the island and people in general. Rainy morning made volcano viewing tough but that’s Mother Nature. The helo tour of volcanos in the afternoon more than made up for things!

You hit it all and you do not need to drive and miss views along the way!

For those seeking nature that can't be found in Japan and who love the special spirits of Hawaii, I think this is the best tour. I wanted to experience nature beyond Oahu, and a local friend recommended Kauai Island. When I searched, I found this tour. Although the order of the attractions was different from what was shown on the website, the Wailua River cruise, which I was most looking forward to, felt truly sacred and left me in awe. Other places were also energetic and gave me a wonderful sensation.

When I arrived in Kauai, I was a bit skeptical about whether I would actually be able to participate until I was picked up by the bus, but the first driver was super friendly, and the second driver (Kaleo) was really fun and kept everyone laughing the whole time. Since I was the only participant from Japan, everyone on the bus and at the lunch restaurant talked to me, and I had a great time throughout. I think I had an even more enjoyable time thanks to Kaleo's guidance. I feel really lucky to have been able to join this tour!

日本では見られないような自然を求めて旅される方、ハワイの特別なspiritsがお好きな方にはbestなツアーな気がします。
オアフ島以外の自然にも触れたくて、現地の友達にもカウアイ島をオススメされ、検索したところこちらがHitしました。HPで見れる観光の順番とは違ったものの、1番楽しみにしていたシダの洞窟を目指してワイルア川クルーズが本当に神聖な感じがして感激しました。他の場所もエネルギッシュで何か素敵な感覚を感じさせてくれました。

カウアイ島に着いて実際バスにピックアップしてもらうまでちゃんと参加できるか半信半疑でしたが、1人目のドライバーさんもすっごくフレンドリーで、2人目(Kaleo)のドライバーさんもとっても楽しく面白くずっとみんなを笑わせてくれました。1人でかつ日本からの参加は私1人だったせいか、バス車内でもランチのレストランでもお客さん皆も私に話しかけてくれて始終楽しく過ごせました。Kaleoのガイドのおかげでさらに楽しい時間が過ごせたんだと思います。このツアーに参加できて本当にラッキーです！！

The guide (Kaleo) was interesting, and I had the best time. Of course, the sightseeing, including Waimea Canyon, was also fantastic.

So much goodies in 1 day- we loved the Kona coffe and cannot stop thinking about it!

Amazing experience! Lots of the island wrapped up in a day you can't go wrong.

I received several emails from Veltra and the operating company informing me of the early morning meeting time, stating "Meet at Honolulu Airport at 5:30." However, the day before, I received a short message saying, "Meet at 5:00!" When I arrived in Honolulu and spoke during the reconfirmation call, I was told it was 5:30, but shortly after, I was told it was 5:00, so I hurriedly called back.

The office was supposed to be available for calls until 14:30, so I planned to confirm at 2:17, but no one answered the phone. With no other options, I decided to leave my hotel in Honolulu at 4:30 to match the earlier meeting time. I thought it was different from the voucher I received, but in the end, it seemed that 5:30 was fine. I suspect there was a typo in the short message, but I wish they had confirmed before sending it. It was very frustrating.

As for the Kauai Island tour, the driver and guide's fun personality allowed all 12 participants to have a great time throughout. Both the sightseeing and lunch exceeded my expectations. We were the only Japanese couple, but there was an international atmosphere with participants from various places. I highly recommend this tour if you're going to Kauai Island!

何度かベルトラさんや催行会社からメールをもらって、早朝の集合時間などのお知らせがあり「5:30にホノルル空港集合」と知らされていたのに、前日になってショートメッセージで、「5:00集合」とのメッセージが！
ホノルルに到着してすぐにリコンファメーションの電話で話した時にも5:30集合と言われたのに、そのあと少しして5:00集合と言われ、慌てて電話しました。
オフィスは14:30まで電話対応OKと書かれていたので、2:17に慌てて確認の電話をしようと思ったら、電話に誰も出なくて、どうしようもないので念のため早めの集合に合わせて、ホノルルのホテルを4時半に出ました。
もらったバウチャーと違うなとは思ってましたが、結論としては、5:30でよかったみたいでした。
多分ショートメッセージにタイプし間違えたのだと思いますが、ちゃんと確認してから送って欲しかったです。
とても困りました。
カウアイ島観光は、ドライバー兼ガイドさんの楽しい人柄に、終始12人の参加者は楽しい時間を過ごすことができました。
観光も、お昼ご飯も、期待以上に満足できました。
日本人は私たち夫婦だけでしたが、色々なところから集まったインターナショナルな雰囲気でした。
カウアイ島へ行くならこのツアーがおすすめです♪

We completely enjoyed our tour of this beautiful island. Our guide was amazing. Keyleon He had so much knowledge about the areas he expertly drove us to.
The only negative I found is that most people who took this tour were staying on this island. We did a flight from Oahu to Kauai. We missed our return flight due to slow traffic conditions. If you plan to island hop- make sure you get a later flight off this island or you will spend a huge amount of time in the airport.

Glad we did it but it's expensive and a very long day. Up at 3:45 to get a taxi to the airport for a 6:00am flight. The tour said lunch included, neither we nor anyone else on the tour thought it would be a packet of chips and a turkey wrap in a box on board the bus. It was. The tour locations were excellent, the volcano, lava tube, waterfalls were all spectacular. The guide was good.

The volcanic activity has already calmed down, allowing us to see the areas where lava has flowed and solidified. However, gas is still continuously being emitted, and we can observe that extensive volcanic activity is occurring underground from above.

It was both terrifying and moving to see from the helicopter how the lava flowed over a vast area, causing an entire village to disappear.

I received an email the day before asking me to confirm my reservation by phone, but I was participating in another tour, and when I tried to contact them, no one answered the emergency contact number. Even after leaving a message on the voicemail and sending an email, I received no response.

Moreover, despite it being clearly stated that lunch was included, when I asked the guide around noon, I was told that this tour did not include lunch, and I was even laughed at. I found out on the day that the flight times to Hawaii Island and Oahu Island were completely different, which really stressed me out.

I at least wanted lunch to be provided. For some reason, I was taken to a Japanese-owned bakery in a rural town that I had no interest in, and I wondered what the point was of being asked in advance what I wanted to eat.

The guide provided very little explanation about historical events or legends, mostly just talking about the eruptions from a few years ago. I was disappointed as the stories were only what I had already read in the news or guidebooks.

すでに火山活動は落ち着いているので、溶岩が流れて固まった後をみることができ、まだガスは継続して出続けているので、広大な範囲で火山活動が地下で起こっていることも上空から見ることができます。

ものすごく広い範囲に溶岩が流れ、村ひとつが消滅していってしまったことがヘリから見られて、恐ろしくもあり、感動でもありました。

前日にメールが来て、予約確認の連絡を電話するように書かれて来ましたが、別のツアーに参加していて連絡が遅くなると閉まっていて緊急連絡先にさえ誰も出ず。留守番電話にメッセージを残しても、メールで返事をしても向こうからの返信はありませんでした。

しかも「昼食付」としっかり書かれていたのに、１２時頃にガイドに聞くと、このツアーには昼食は付いていないと言われ、かつ、鼻で笑われました。ハワイ島に向かう飛行機の時間も、オアフ島に向かう飛行機の時間も全く違うことが当日に分かり、本当に焦りました。

せめて昼食は出してほしかったです。なぜか全く興味のない田舎町の日本人経営のパン屋に連れていかれましたが、事前に食べたいものを聞かれた意味はなんだったんでしょうか。

ガイドも歴史的なことや伝説はほとんど説明がなく、数年前の噴火の話ばかり。ニュースやガイドブックに載っていた話だけだったのでがっかりでした。

Rosario was a wonderful tour Guide. friendly and Professional. the van was clean and the windows were polished. He took us to some of the most beautiful places on Earth. at the top of the canyon he had a wonderful lunch set up. He talked with each person and got some information about their origins and back - ground. the photo stops were unbelievable and he made everybody feel special and their was not one question he did not answer in detail! He gave great prospective, from a locals point of view ton every topic. I highly recommend Rosario (for your next ohau - kauai - tour) Five stars all the way!

This tour was worth every penny. The sites and culture we experienced were beyond our expectations. The tour guide was so friendly and her knowledge of each and every site visited and of the Hawaiian culture and history was beyond outstanding. This tour has to be the highlight of our visit to the Big Island. If you want an exciting, exhilarating, beautiful, and culturally immersive experience this tour will meet your every expectation.

This was an awesome tour. It went like clockwork and our tour guide, Ernie, was very knowledgeable of the island and took good care of us. I would highly recommend this tour.

The tour guide gave information about all the stops and walked with us the whole time.
This was my most memorable tour in Hawaii.

I wish the helicopter was first, as it gets cloudy later in the day which makes it harder to see what you are suppose to on the helicopter.
