I participated in early December, and unfortunately, the weather was quite chilly and rainy, but I still had a great time. There were beautiful coral reefs nearby, and fish were swimming right in front of me. Just peeking into the water was captivating, and while enjoying other activities, time flew by quickly. I had signed up for a clear kayak and snorkeling experience, but due to the possibility of rain, I was given the option to cancel at the last minute or switch to a regular kayak. Since I had already arranged a rental car from Waikiki to Haleiwa and everything was planned, I couldn't cancel. As a result, I ended up with just the regular kayak for two hours, which was quite boring. In the end, the weather improved on the day, and it didn't rain, plus the waves weren't high, but I still couldn't do the clear kayak and snorkeling.

Additionally, I received a text the day before asking me to look for a white truck, and since the company operated with just one truck, there was no office building at the meeting point. The way it was described during the booking made it seem like there would be a building, which caused quite a bit of confusion. I was told that if I came in the summer, I could do the clear kayak and snorkeling, but I wanted to combine it with the Honolulu Marathon, so I came in the winter. If it says that clear kayaking and snorkeling are available, I really hoped they would do their best to provide those activities.

The team was extremely helpful in explaining the events. I brought my wife and in-laws from Japan with us. We felt the Aloha immediately! We were worried about the cloudy morning but just as we set sail the sun came out in during our ride. We got to spend a good amount of time in the sun and enjoyed the music from the performers on board. Tip your performers, people! They can sing all the island tunes 10/10. If you're worried, it might be a good idea to take some motion sickness medication beforehand. The meeting place was hard to find, so I recommend arriving early. The weather was questionable, and on the day I had a reservation, the captain decided not to set sail, forcing me to change my schedule to the next day. I wish they had covered the Uber fare from the hotel! My plans were significantly disrupted. However, I really wanted to try parasailing 🪂, so I was glad I could experience it. Fortunately, I had a shopping day that didn’t include any tours, but if it had been later in my trip, I would have had to give up on it. If it were among Japanese people, it would be great to get to know each other on the boat and take pictures for free, but for a honeymoon, it might be worth paying for more photos in terms of quantity and quality.

We signed up for the 150m experience as a couple. On the day of the event, the reception and crew warmly welcomed us, and we were able to add a photo service for $40. There was also a family of three from West Virginia who joined us spontaneously, and we set off. The 150m height was higher than I imagined, offering a panoramic view of the ocean and Waikiki. You can spot places you visited during your walk and your hotel, enjoying the scenery from different angles (though looking down is quite scary!). The photos are transferred to your smartphone on the spot, and you also receive an SD card. The access is good, and it wraps up quickly, making it an experience I would highly recommend.

Also, the height measurements are incorrect; they should be around 800 feet (about 26 meters) and 100 feet (about 33 meters). Wouldn't it be better to correct this?

At first, I thought 120 meters would be scary, but it was really exhilarating and stable! Since it was sunny and the temperature was high, I didn't feel cold at all even though it was December when I got in the water. The instructor was cheerful and talked to us; I didn't understand much English, but we had fun communicating through nuances. (laughs)

At the beginning, I noticed that those who went first didn't fall into the sea, so I thought, "Oh, you don't get wet," but then I was dramatically dropped during the performance! (laughs)

Also, I have a tendency to get seasick easily, so I took motion sickness medication the night before and on the day of the trip, and I kept a mint in my mouth while on the boat, which helped me barely hold on. However, the side-to-side swaying when the boat was stationary was quite strong, so it's dangerous to go without any seasickness measures! 💦

Unfortunately, my older child had a fever, and since the cancellation would result in a full charge, I attended with my younger child, who is in first grade. (I reluctantly gave up the fee for the absent child.) However, I am grateful for the courteous response from the office, which offered to change the date.

I also added bus transportation, but since the meeting point is quite far, I think it would be better for those staying around Waikiki who haven't decided on transportation options to include it. The bus driver was a cheerful and kind Japanese woman!

Regarding the activity, I changed the date and participated in the afternoon, and while I was aware of it, the tide was high that day. When we arrived, the sandbar was gone, and the water was too deep for adults to stand, which scared my younger child, who clung to me and struggled. It was difficult to swim even the short distance of about 10 meters to the floating island where we could canoe, and I thought we might drown. My child, who had become completely intimidated during the move, was also scared of the canoe, and in the end, we managed to return to the boat and spent the entire time on board, which was disappointing.

While I understand this is a matter of personal responsibility, I think it would have been nice if they had differentiated the price a bit, such as lowering it during high tide, to avoid any frustration.

However, other families were enjoying snorkeling, riding banana boats, and seemed to be having a great time. They had plenty of time, and I believe those who are mainly considering activities other than the sandbar would really enjoy it.

What impressed me was the live music performance on the boat; it was pleasant to listen to music while feeling the breeze.

On that day, participants included people from Japan, as well as from China, South Korea, and the mainland United States. The crew consisted of one Japanese person and local staff.

あいにく上の子が熱を出し、キャンセルは全額になるため小1の下の子と2人で参加してきました。（不参加分のお代は泣く泣く諦めました）
ただ日時をずらしてくださるなど、事務所の方は丁寧に対応していただき感謝です。
バス送迎もつけましたが、集合場所までかなり遠いのでワイキキ周辺にお泊りの方はレンタカーなど移動手段が決まっていない方はつけた方がよろしいかと思います。
バスの運転手さんは日本人の女性で明るくて優しい方でした！

アクティビティですが、日時を変更し午後参加になり、分かっては居ましたがその日の午後は満潮。
着いたらサンドバーは無く大人も足がつかない深さで下の子はとても怖がりしがみつき暴れるので、カヌーが出来る浮島まで移動する間の10M位だけでも泳ぐのが困難で溺れるかと思いました。移動ですっかり萎縮した子供はカヌーも怖がり、結局なんとか必死に船上に戻ってずっと船の上で過ごすことになったのは残念でした。
今回のことは自己責任ではありますが、せめて満潮時は値段を下げていただくなど少し差別化をして貰えたらモヤモヤもなかったかなと思います。

Got picked up at the hotel in Waikiki. We were 4. It was a short drive to the sandbar. What an experience. It literally looked like Tahiti. The Hawaiian singers/ukulele players were amazing and the staff was friendly and so accommodating. We enjoyed everything about the day, but the views were to die for. We appreciated the affordable alcoholic beverages that were offered as well as the free fresh donuts. We really enjoyed floating on the barge and kayaking and it was my first time on a paddleboard. What was so cool was that the water there is as calm as the lake.! we would highly recommend this trip!

I finally managed to convince my wife to go parasailing. At first, I was filled with fear, but according to her, once we were up in the air, we could see Diamond Head, the hotel we were staying at, and Waikiki Beach. It was the best location!

The prices are reasonable, and there's enough time spent floating to have a lot of fun. Above all, the quick transitions and the efficient putting on and taking off of equipment made it very time-effective, and it was great to see Diamond Head from the ocean. The time from gathering to dispersing is short, allowing for additional plans afterward. I felt that it was a good cost-performance ratio because I was able to enjoy it in a short time and was very satisfied.
