Hawaii Parasailing - Heights: 45m / 90m / 120m / 150m - Hilton Waikiki <with pick-up> by Hawaiian Parasail / 90 meters
I have a tendency to get seasick easily, so I was very worried about getting seasick. I was even considering canceling up until the day before.
On the day of the activity, I took motion sickness medication, made sure not to eat too much for breakfast, and was careful to be well-rested. Thankfully, I didn't feel sick at all. There were two other Japanese couples besides us, and we had a fun and refreshing time throughout. The view from the sea was amazing, and I was moved to think, "Ah, I'm in Hawaii!" Thank you very much.

とても酔い易い体質なので船酔いをとてもとても心配してました。
前日までキャンセルしようかと考えていたくらいです。
当日は酔い止めを飲んで朝ごはんも食べすぎず、寝不足でもないように気を付けて体調を万全にしてのぞみました。それがよかったのか、酔うこともなく、私たち以外は日本人の２カップルでしたが、
終始楽しく爽快に過ごせました。海上からの眺めはとても良く、あ～ハワイにいるんだな＾＾と感動でした。ありがとうございました。

We chose this place because we stayed at Ilikai. It was nice that everyone else was foreign couples or families. We requested a photo shoot for $30. In the end, they did the usual splash into the sea (laughs), and it was fun.

私達以外皆さん外人のカップルやファミリーだったので良かったです。30ドルで写真撮影してくれるとゆーことで御願いしました。
最後お決まりの海にバシャンと落としてくれたし( 笑 )楽しかったです。

Captain and deckie worked tirelessly to ensure that every opportunity to catch fish was taken. The instructions given on how to handle the equipment were excellent for novices such as our group. Using local knowledge the captain located good sized fish and each landing was greeted with great enthusiasm but at the same time professionalism and efficiency. As a group we dispensed with the normal method of chance selection as to who would take each strike (the captain drawing a card) and so everyone had an equal share of the catch.

I participated in a trip with my mother. The weather was wonderful that day, and it was a very peaceful aerial walk. Even I, who have a fear of heights, and my mother, who initially said it looked scary, were able to enjoy it. Since I had requested photos in advance, they took many pictures that clearly showed how much fun we had. This is an option that can be enjoyed even by first-timers.

母と2人旅で参加しました。この日はお天気にも恵まれ、とても穏やかな空中散歩でした。高所恐怖症の私も、最初は怖そうと言っていた母も楽しめました。事前に写真のお願いをしていたので、楽しかったという事が一目で分かる写真をたくさん撮って下さいました。初めてでも充分楽しめるオプションです。

Great snorkeling tour with Dan and Chieko. The four of us were snorkeling novices and senior citizens and they were extremely patient and hands on. We saw some beautiful fish and reef and had a great time.

I ordered group lesson staring at 10:00am with picking me up at 9:30am.
But I was picked up around 10:20am. I was waiting for almost 1hour. I don't why but I had a private lesson. Maybe he was late. It was good for me. And instructor was amazing buy. He was friendly and kind. And SUP was fun.
If he wasn't late, I would feel great at him. But I couldn't do my plan after that. I wasted time about 1hour. It's important thing. I'm sorry only about that.

"Russell" and the skipper were bona fide pros. Personable, efficient, experienced, providing safe and exciting fun for sailers and riders alike. I would do it again without hesitation.

The office staff was equally efficient. They managed to reschedule our long-standing reservations to a day earlier to avoid a forecast of a week of Trade Wind activity. It is no wonder that that Hawaiian Parasail at Waikiki is such a successful business. You gotta do it.

We participated in a parasailing tour as a family of four, and it was really great. Since we stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, we walked there. We arrived early, but it seemed like there was enough time even if we were cutting it close.

Our fellow participants included a three-generation Chinese American family, two women from Australia, a couple from the mainland U.S., and one local Hawaiian man, with no Japanese participants. The explanations were all in English, but there were no problems at all. The fellow participants and the guide were also very entertaining, which made it really enjoyable.

It was my first time parasailing, and I was a bit nervous, but since we ascended slowly, it wasn't scary at all, and I was able to enjoy a graceful tour above Hawaii. As mentioned in the reviews, there was a $20 bill at the boat's exit, which felt like a tip expectation, but none of the participants paid it, and the staff didn't seem to mind at all; the atmosphere was very cheerful.

家族四人でパラセーリングツアーに参加しましたが、とてもよかったです。
ホテルはヒルトンハワイアンビレッジでしたので徒歩で行きました。早めについたのですが、
時間はぎりぎりでも大丈夫なようでした。
同乗者は、中国系アメリカ人三世代、オーストラリアからの女性二人組、アメリカ本土からのカップルとハワイ現地の男性一人で日本人はいません。すべて英語での説明ですが、全然問題なく、また同乗者、ガイドの方も楽しませてくれて、本当によかったです。
パラセーリングは初めてで少し緊張しましたが、ゆっくりと上昇するので、全然怖くなく、優雅にハワイ上空の遊覧を楽しむことができませんでした。
口コミに書いてありましたが、船の出口＄20紙幣のみ挟んであり、＄20のチップを支払うような感じでしたが、同乗者は誰も払いませんでしたし、スタッフの方も全然関係なく、にこやかな雰囲気でした。

I experienced this on the day I arrived in Hawaii. Since it was a bit of a half-day, I was unsure what to do, but the weather was really nice when I arrived, so I made a reservation. I booked right after arriving. I received an email saying it was confirmed right away. The meeting place was a little hard to find, but I asked the hotel staff for directions. They explained a lot, but I didn't understand anything. The breeze felt nice. Just be careful about getting sunburned.

ハワイ到着日に体験しました。
到着当日は中途半端なので何するか決めかねていたら到着して天気がかなり良かったので予約しました。
到着してからすぐ予約。
すぐOKとメールきました。
集合場所が少しわかりにくいかったですがホテルの方に聞き確認。
イロイロ説明してくれますが全くわかりませんでした。
風が気持ち良かったです。
日焼けに注意ですね。

前日は強風の為中止になりましたが…
いざ体験するとサイコーでした。
今回体験して本当に良かったです。
この景色は体験した人でないとわかりませんね、説明出来ません。

Since it was a half-day course, I thought it might be a bit lacking, but I was fortunate to have kind lectures and even meet a sea turtle "Little Buddy," making it a very satisfying and exciting tour. The interactions with Mr. Dan during the transportation were enjoyable, and my nice partnership with Chieko-san also made me feel happy. Mahalo!!!

半日コースだったので少し物足りないかな？との思いで参加しましたが、親切なレクチャーとウミガメの”リトル・バディ”にも出会える幸運にも恵まれ、大満足・興奮のツアーでした。送迎中のダン先生とのやり取りも楽しく、ちえこさんとのナイスなパートナー関係にこちらも幸せな気分にさせて頂きました。マハロ～！！！

My daughter and a friend decided to stay in Oahu over spring break instead of coming home. They had planned bus trips for Hanauma Bay as well as North Shore during the week. After having a horrible time with the bus schedules and waiting to get to their destinations, I decided to get them tickets for the shuttle. So glad I did! They had a really good time, hassle free of buses and hotel pick up and drop off was perfect for them. The trip to the bay made their spring break! So glad I found this site, and we will use them again when we visit her over Thanksgiving this year!

I experienced parasailing for the first time, and it was so enjoyable that I highly recommend it! I wasn't scared at all, but one of the male participants in a couple was too scared to go, so the woman ended up going alone. I ended up riding with her instead of that man, and I got to experience it twice... I am very satisfied!

初めてパラセイリングを体験してみて、とっても気持ちよかったのでめちゃくちゃオススメです！私は全く怖くなかったですが、他の参加者のカップルの男性の方が怖がってやらないことになり、女性は一人でやることになってました。その男性の代わりに私が一緒にライドすることになり、2回も体験できて、、、私は大満足です！

Took a group of friends on April 16 2016!!! It was so much fun can't wait to go again

The pickup was on time in front of the Duke Kahanamoku statue. Although it was supposed to be a colorful trolley, it was actually a regular van.

Once all the participants for the same time slot gathered and the previous group returned, we boarded the boat. There were four other groups besides us, and we were the only Japanese, so I was a bit worried about the language barrier, but the pilot spoke enough basic Japanese for the activities, so it was fine.

150 meters was higher than I imagined! I tried not to look straight down and enjoyed the panoramic view of Waikiki. It was thrilling and refreshing. The boat rocked quite a bit, and I got a little seasick while waiting for my turn. If you're prone to motion sickness, it's essential to bring motion sickness medication.

They ask if you want to have photos taken for $30 right before you fly. I wanted photos from the air, so I requested it. There were a few blurry photos, but they took dozens before we took off, and the landing part was recorded as a video, so I felt it was worth it. (They give you a CD-R after it's done.) If you're planning to request photos, it's a good idea to bring $30 plus cash for tips. (There are two pilots on the boat.) You can just store your belongings in the storage space under the seats, so it's best not to bring valuables and only take the essentials.

On the way back, we boarded the van again, and the driver asked for the hotel name and dropped us off right in front of it.

It became a great memory! I had a lot of fun.

ピックアップはデュークカハナモク像の前で時間通りに迎えに来てくれました。
カラフルなトローリーでお迎えとありましたが実際は普通のバンでした。

同じ時間帯の参加者が揃い、前の時間帯の船が戻って来ると船に乗り込みます。船内は私たち以外に４組いて、日本人は私たちだけだったので言葉が分かるか不安でしたが操縦士さんはアクティビティに必要な最低限の日本語は話してくれたので大丈夫でした。

150メートル、想像以上に高かったです！！
真下はなるべく見ないようにして一望できるワイキキの景色を楽しみました。
スリル満点で爽快でした。
船はかなり揺れるので自分の順番が来るまでにちょっと船酔いしてしまいました。酔いやすい方は酔い止め必須です。
30ドルで写真の撮影を頼むか飛ぶ直前に聞かれます。上空での写真がほしかったのでお願いしました。ボケている写真も数枚ありましたが飛ぶ前から何十枚か撮ってくれていたし最後の着水の部分は動画になっていて買って良かったなと思いました。（終わったらＣＤーＲで渡してくれます。）
撮影を頼む方は３０ドルとチップ分の現金を持っていくといいですね。（船には二人の操縦士さんが乗り込みます。）荷物は船の座る部分の下の収納スペースに置いておくだけなので貴重品などは持って行かず必要最低限のものだけにしたほうがいいです。

帰りはまたバンに乗り込みドライバーさんにホテル名を聞かれホテルの目の前で降ろしてもらえました。

いい思い出になりました！楽しかったです。

I was satisfied with the parasailing itself (*^^*). However, the shuttle was a trolley without windows, and the driving was too rough!

I was scared that I might fly out during the turns! My husband and I could still laugh about it, saying it felt very American (lol), but other guests had their large luggage blown away, so I think if there were small children, they would definitely feel uncomfortable.

I really think this should be pointed out as it was terrible. It was also tough to wait about 30 minutes after arriving at the dock. I bought some photos, but they were mostly close-ups, and the ones showing us flying high didn’t really capture that well, plus they didn’t look very good, so I felt it was expensive (>_<).

しかし、送迎が窓ガラスが無いトロリーだったのですが運転荒すぎです！

カーブの時なんて飛んでいっちゃうかと怖かったです！
私たち夫婦は、アメリカンな感じだね（笑）とまだ笑えましたが
他のお客さんの大きな荷物が吹っ飛んでたので
小さなお子様がいたりしたら絶対嫌に感じると思います。

本当に酷いので指摘すべきだと思います。
船着場に着いてから30分くらい待たされたのも辛かったです。
写真も買いましたが アップの写真ばっかで
高く飛んでるのがわからない写真だけで
写りもあまり良くなく高く感じました(>_<)

It was my first time parasailing.
Upon arrival, I was asked to read a contract in Japanese in the car, and after reading it, I signed it.
The contract contained content that would evoke a sense of fear, which you wouldn't typically see in Japan. (laughs)
After checking in, I waited, but even after the scheduled time, I wasn't called.
I was informed that they were doing maintenance because something was caught on the boat.
Since it was my first time, my sense of fear increased even more...
That said, I had a good impression that they were properly ensuring safety.

After about a 30-minute delay, we finally got ready to set sail!
There were two Japanese couples, including myself, and the rest were international guests.
There were no Japanese staff, but one person spoke a little Japanese, and the other staff members explained things clearly with gestures.
The staff did a great job of creating a lively atmosphere, so when I actually took off, my initial fear completely disappeared.
In the air, it was stable without much shaking, and I could see Diamond Head, the vast ocean, and the cityscape all at once.
I put my phone in a waterproof bag and was able to take many photos from above.
There is also a service where the staff will take photos for $30, which included videos and made for a great keepsake.

Perhaps because I chose the highest course at 150 meters, I experienced the "sea splash" twice, as mentioned in others' experiences, and it felt like they extended the flight time a bit longer, so choosing 150 meters was definitely the right choice.

Even though it was high, it wasn't scary at all; I felt like I could have gone even higher, so I highly recommend the 150 meters.

初めてのパラセイルでした。
迎えの際の車内で日本語の契約書を読むように言われ、読んだら署名をします。
契約書は、日本ではまず見ないであろう恐怖感を煽る内容です。(笑)
受付後、待機していたが予定時刻を過ぎても呼ばれず。
船の紐か何かがひっかっかているので整備中とのこと。
初めてということもあり、さらに恐怖感が増す…。
とはいえ、きちんと安全を整えてくれているという面で好印象。

30分程の遅れでやっと準備が整い、いざ出港！
自分を含め日本人カップル２組とあとは海外の方でした。
スタッフに日本人はいませんが、片言の日本語を話せる方が一人いて、
ほかのスタッフさんもわかりやすくジェスチャーしながら説明してくれます。
スタッフさんが上手く場を盛り上げてくださるので、実際に飛んでみると最初の恐怖感は全くなくなっていました。
上空で大きく揺れることなく安定しており、ダイヤモンドヘッドや一面の海、街の景色が一望できます。
携帯を防水袋に入れ、上空からたくさんの写真を撮ることができました。
３０ドルでスタッフさんが写真を撮影してくれるサービスもあります。動画も入っていていい記念になりました。

１５０メートルの一番高いコースを選んでいたからか、皆さんの体験談にもある海ポチャも２回してくださり、飛行時間も長めに取ってくださっていたように感じ、１５０メートルにして正解でした。

高いからといって怖いこともなく、もっと高くてもいいと感じるくらいだったので１５０メートルおすすめです。

It was my first time paragliding, and I had so much fun that I wished I could have flown longer.

First of all, we only understood English at a middle school level and could hardly speak it. Everyone else in the group was American, but they were all nice people, which made it easy for us to complete the activity without any anxiety.

We gathered at the designated spot, got into a dark blue Mercedes van, and headed to the port. After checking in, we boarded the boat, received explanations in English, and were given a Japanese instruction manual to read. The crew was cheerful, and they offered a DVD with photos for $30.

Finally, the paragliding began. As we took off from the deck, we soared higher and higher, and the boat looked like a grain of rice. We had a panoramic view that included Diamond Head, the streets of Waikiki, and the beach. It was over in a flash, but I felt that doing it in Waikiki had a significant meaning.

On the way back, we tipped the crew, and the driver took us back to the hotel.

I'm really glad I did it. It seems there are many other activities available, so I’m feeling interested in trying more.

パラセイリング自体初めてだったのですが、もっと長い間飛んでいたいと思ったぐらい楽しかったです。
まず私達は中学生レベルの英語しかわからない上、喋ることはほとんどできません。笑
集合から解散まで私達以外、全員アメリカ人だったのですがみんないい人達で不安なくアクティビティを終えることができました。
まず、指定の場所で集合し紺色のメルセデスのバンに乗り、港まで行きました。受付を済ませ、船に乗り、英語で説明を受け、日本語の説明書を読まされました。乗組員も陽気な方で30ドルで写真を焼いたDVDもつけてくれるとの事です。
いよいよ、パラセイリング開始、デッキから飛び立つと、どんどん高い所まで行き船も米粒程に見え、ダイヤモンドヘッドからワイキキの街並みやビーチを含め、大パノラマで一望することができました。
あっと言う間でしたが、ワイキキでやる事に大きな意味があったように感じます。
帰りは乗組員にチップを渡し、ドライバーはホテルまで送迎してくれました。

本当にやってよかったです。
ほかにもたくさんアクティビティがあるみたいですので、興味も出てきました。

The day after our wedding in Hawaii, I took on a challenge with my family! My father, who is turning 60, also enjoyed it. We were invited by the instructor to go quite far, but it was scary, the waves were really high, and I fell into the sea right away, which was tough! I got pretty exhausted, but it was an experience I can't have in Japan, and I was glad we could enjoy it together as a family on the beautiful, shallow Waikiki Beach!

ハワイ挙式の翌日、自分の家族とチャレンジしました！
還暦の父も楽しんでくれました。
かなり遠くまでインストラクターに誘われ行ったものの、怖いし、波かなり高いからすぐ転んで海にドボンするし大変でした！
かなりヘトヘトになりましたが、日本ではできない体験だし、キレイな遠浅のワイキキビーチで家族で楽しめて良かったです！

I decided to take this surfing lesson based on reviews while participating in the Hapalua Marathon (my first marathon). Since it was an English lesson and I can't speak English, I was a bit anxious, but once we started, I understood through gestures and it was fine. The waves were small, but I was able to ride them and it was fun! I think I'm going to get hooked on surfing!

ハパルアマラソンに参加（人生初のマラソン）するついでに、サーフィンも初体験しようと口コミを参考にしてこのレッスンに決めました。英語レッスンということで、英語がしゃべれないので不安はありましたが、いざ始まってみるとジェスチャーなどでわかり、大丈夫でした。小さい波でしたが、乗れて楽しかったです！サーフィンにハマリそう！

It felt amazing to be flying in the sky; it was the best. When I go to Hawaii, there are often a lot of Japanese people around, but on this tour, there were none at all, which really made me feel like I was abroad (laughs). The traditional splash in the sea when we landed was also a lot of fun!

ハワイに行くと、まわりが日本人でいっぱいだったりしますが、今回のツアーは周りに日本人が全くいなく、海外に来てるなぁーって思える感じでした（笑）

There were many fish and turtles in the ocean. I'm glad I was able to purchase the photos and videos taken by the staff.

There were no Japanese people in our group, just us. We could only speak a little English, so I was initially anxious, but once we actually did it, it was so much fun and absolutely amazing!!! We got to see views that are hard to see from above the ocean, and we really enjoyed it♡ Before going up, I made eye contact with one of the crew members, and when I thought they smiled at me... at the end when we returned to the boat, we were splashed multiple times in the ocean, unlike the others who only got a little splash! My friend and I were like, "Wait, why just us?!" and we burst out laughing! Now it has become a really good memory (*´-`). However, since we were students, we didn't hire a photographer to save money. That's the only thing I regret. After coming back, I found myself in a situation where I had no parasailing photos (;-;). I definitely want to participate again the next time I go to Hawaii! And this time, I won't forget to hire a photographer...♡

一緒のグループには日本人は０。私たちだけ。英語も少し話せるくらい。と最初は不安でしたが、実際にやってみると、とっても楽しく最高でした！！！海の上からなかなか見ることのできない景色をみれ、とっても楽しめました♡上にあがる前にクルーの人と目が合い、にこっとされたと思ったら…船に戻るラスト、私たちの時だけ思いっきり、ばしゃん！と海に何回もつけられました…(笑)他の人達は1回ちょこんと水につけられるくらいだけだったので、そのつもりでいたところに突然！友達とえええ！！私たちだけなんで？(笑)となり爆笑でした！今ではとてもいい思い出になっています(*´-`)ただ、学生のためお金節約して撮影を頼みませんでした。そこだけ後悔してます。帰ってきてからパラセイルの写真がない(;-;)という状態になりました…。次回ハワイに行くときも是非参加したいです！その時には撮影も忘れずに…♡

We found this because I cannot scuba or snorkel and were pleasantly surprised! We had a good time and an excellent group of guides helping us along. I was nervous but they put my mind at ease and I greatly enjoyed seeing all the fish and the sea turtles! They even had snacks for us on the boat.
Thanks for giving me an experience thought I would never get to have. Would definitely recommend!

The guides were great, they would make sure everybody was together, We saw turtles and variety of hawaii fishes. I would recommend this tour to anyone travelling to Hawaii, its a must see at Hanauma Bay. Thanks Dan & Chieko
