I participated with my husband. It was my first time, but the staff were very kind and taught us well, which made me feel at ease. It seems that the plan was to practice in a nearby river first and then head to the beach once we got used to it, but unfortunately, on the day we participated, we couldn't go to the beautiful beach in Kailua due to strong winds. However, the river was fun, and we had a course where we went upstream and then came back down. While enjoying the scenery around us, the staff provided guided explanations, making it feel like an adventure, and it was really enjoyable. I would like to participate again.

This was definately one of the best activities on our vacation. Our kids had a blast. My wife and I went along just to watch and had a lot of fun also. We were so glad that we had them take pictures for us as they turned out great. From our shuttle driver, to the office personnel, to the boat crew, everybody was wonderful. Highly recommend it!

I've been to Hawaii many times, but this was my first time surfing. The experience was amazing. The only complaint I have was that we were staying at the Mariot Waikiki and the van driver went to the Waikiki resort to pick us up. We could not find the driver or him us. When I talked with staff trying to locate himshe was rude and said if we did not find the driver in 2 mins he would leave us and there would be no refund.
We ended up finding him in about 10 mins. with the help of valet parkers from out hotel. He did not leave us Thank goodness. The van driver knew we were lost and waited. He was very nice. The staff on the boat were amazing. My 73 year old mother even parasailed and they acommadated her needs. : ) We were there on a make a wish trip, they allowed my 12 year old son who fought cancer last year to go up twice and to drive the boat. They were just amazing!

This was my second time surfing in Hawaii. I was drawn in by the cute name and made a reservation. I signed up for a group lesson, but there was only one student, so it turned into a completely private session! Yay~~ (*^^)v

The instructor was a boy who spoke a little Japanese, but it was so much fun. Even though I was a poor student, thanks to the instructor, I was able to ride the waves!!!

A photographer rode on a board and took pictures, so they were very dynamic and full of life.

My friends had separate plans for the day, but next time they said they would join this school too.

All the explanations beforehand are in English, but since each person is allowed to practice on the board on land, I think it will be understandable. The board is large and buoyant, and the staff will push you on the waves, so you will definitely be able to ride it. It would have been even better if there were several types of boards to choose from.

A trolley came to pick us up and took us to the site, where we departed on a boat with ten people. Since we had to wait while others were flying, it was a good idea to take motion sickness medication beforehand.

I was unsure about the height difference, but I was glad I chose the 110-meter course. I probably wouldn't have noticed a difference even if it were increased by 20 meters...

Everyone made a slight splash in the sea. Some people only got their feet wet, but we ended up soaking our shirts. I heard that with a Dry Landing, you can avoid getting wet, but no one requested that.

Everyone bought an SD card for $30 for 40 photos. A total of 68 photos were taken, but the ones that were in focus...

It became a great memory.

I had requested a pickup and arrived at the designated location 10 minutes early, but even after waiting for 25 minutes, no one came to pick me up, which was very stressful. The voucher mentioned to call if they hadn't arrived 10 minutes after the scheduled time, but I didn't have a mobile phone that could make calls overseas, so I was really in a tough spot. However, after waiting a bit longer, they finally came to pick me up, and the lesson was so enjoyable that I forgot all about the morning's mishap! I took the lesson in a group, and since most of the participants were Japanese, we were able to chat and have fun together! Of course, whether it was the teacher's guidance or the wave conditions, I was able to stand up and had a great time!

The service is only available for foreigners except during the document submission before boarding. After boarding, they seem to have memorized the explanation in Japanese and provide a brief explanation in broken Japanese. You can store your luggage at your feet on the boat. Since you may get splashed with water during the latter part of the parasailing, it's better to leave anything that shouldn't get wet at your feet. They don't insist on tips; they just casually say, "If you had fun, please consider tipping!" We paid a total of $40 for two people, including the $30 photo fee.

The acceleration of the boat at departure was fun, and I didn't feel any motion sickness at all.

This was my very first fishing experience and I shared it with my 12 year old son. We don't know anything about fishing, fishing poles, reels, bobbers, bait..nadda! This activity claims it's easy for beginners and it was. Only problem I had was the check in process, the guy in the kiosk seemed very irritated and closed the window right before a customer came up to his kiosk to ask a question. The guy in the kiosk didn't want to talk to anyone either and we had to pass our vouchers through the little opening in the window that he did leave open. Once checked in he told us to head to the Sashimi boat. On the boat the deckhand named Evan was grilling our burgers and hotdogs YUM! But the portion was very small, more like a snack. We were given half a burger, half a hot dog, small scoop of rice with chilli, and 1 pineapple.. but REMEMBER!!!.. the small food portion, irritated kiosk person isn't the reason we did the tour.. we wanted to do some fishing!

If you are taking your own transportation to Oahu Parasailing, leave early in order to be on time. It is easy to get lost or stuck in traffic. The staff is very friendly! If you get motion sick then you should take some Bonine or Dramamine before. You will be on a boat with 3-5 other groups. You might get motion sick waiting for everyone to take their turn parasailing. The boat Captain and riggers are really nice. They will prepare you and give you all the rules and safety precautions before. They take safety very seriously here so don't be offended if they yell at you for not following the rules. It's their job to make everyone feel safe and get everyone back to shore in one piece. This is very fun for everyone! It is a nice boat ride and parasailing tour. Do not bring expensive cameras out, you will be splashed by the waves. You won't be soaked after the boat ride, but it’s not worth the risk of ruining your expensive camera. I previously went to Kailua by bus, and with the waiting time and transfers, it took about two hours from Waikiki. The tour shuttle bus arrived in about 30 minutes from the hotel, which I thought was a significant advantage for making effective use of time.

It was a guided kayak tour, so I had to go on my own after watching a video, but I couldn't remember everything perfectly since I needed to pay attention to both the visuals and subtitles. However, when I later asked the staff about things I didn't understand, they kindly explained everything, which made me feel at ease before setting off.

Carrying the kayak to the water was quite challenging for two women and took some time, but we managed. The launch site for kayaking was designated, and the staff helped us out.

We kayaked to the nearest uninhabited island, landed, and surprisingly stayed longer than expected because there were birds and great views. We even encountered a turtle along the way, and we completed the round trip to the uninhabited island without capsizing. For lunch, we could choose from several places, and I picked pizza, which I heard was popular among locals, and it was a satisfying meal.

After that, I really wanted to go to Lanikai Beach, so I rented a bike for $10 and got there in less than an hour, hurriedly took some photos, and dipped my feet in the ocean before heading back. The cycling route was fantastic, allowing me to enjoy the sea and greenery.

Although I didn't use them, I was pleased that snorkeling gear and mats were available for free, and bike rentals were half price. Overall, it was a tour that my friends and I were very satisfied with.

その後、どうしてもラニカイビーチに行きたかったので、10ドルで自転車を借り、1時間足らずで行ってあわただしく写真撮って少し海につかって帰ってきました。サイクリングコースも海や緑を感じられて最高でした。
使う機会はありませんでしたが、シュノーケルやゴザなど無料で借りられるのはうれしく、レンタサイクルも半額でした。
友達ともども大満足のツアーでした。

I’m scared of roller coasters. My wife also isn’t fond of roller coasters or heights, but since we came all the way to Hawaii, we thought it would be a waste to leave without trying anything. So, we signed up for it despite our fears. Once we actually tried it, our bodies were securely strapped in, and there was absolutely no fear. We were able to enjoy the beautiful sky and ocean of Hawaii, and my wife and I were overjoyed, saying, “I’m glad we did it! It wasn’t scary at all!” The staff were fun, and we had a truly wonderful and enjoyable experience, leaving us very satisfied. One downside is that the boat can sway depending on the wave conditions over the ocean, which might cause a bit of seasickness. My wife took motion sickness medication from the start, so she was fine, but I thought I would be okay and almost felt a little queasy. However, even with that, the overall experience was fantastic, and I was really satisfied.

I don't know when I'll be able to go to Hawaii next, so I wanted to do something that can only be done while I'm young, like skydiving or parasailing. My friend, who is not good with heights, said she could manage parasailing, so we went with that. After it was over, she said it was super fun and that she was glad we did it! We were picked up and went straight to the boat. There was no one who spoke Japanese, and the explanations were all in English. I understood that we needed to put our bags and shoes under the seats by watching the gestures. While the staff was explaining, my friend asked me to put her bag under my seat, and as I was doing that, I was scolded by the staff who said, "Look!"

When I tried to take a picture of the scenery with my phone camera while the boat was moving, I was told, "Don't let go!" I was fine with preparing for the jump because I carefully watched the other customers who were going before us and mentally prepared myself. When it was our turn and we were getting ready, my friend tried to move the belt she had around her legs down to her waist, and the captain scolded her, saying, "Under your thighs!" 次いつハワイに行けるか分からないので、若いうちにしか出来ない事、カツ、ハワイでしか出来ない事で、スカイダイビングかパラセイルだったのですが、一緒に行く友達が観覧車もダメな人で、パラセイルならなんとか大丈夫だろうと言うのでパラセイルに。そんな友達も終わってから超~楽しかった♪やって良かった♪と言ってました★ピックアップしてもらい直ぐにボートへ。日本語が話せる人はおらず説明はずっと英語。ジェスチャーを見て荷物と靴は座席の下に入れる等分かりました。説明をスタッフがしている最中に、友達に荷物を私が座ってる座席の下に入れてと言われ、下に入れてると「ミテ！」と説明してるスタッフに注意をされました。ボートが走行中に携帯のカメラで景色を写真に撮ろうとしたら「ツカマッテ！！」とボートから手を離すなと注意されました。どうやって飛ぶ準備をするのか等は、先に飛ぶお客さんの様子をシッカリと見て学習して心の準備をしたので大丈夫でした。私達の番が来て装着して準備をしている時に、友達が足に通したベルトを腰の下に移動させようとしたらキャプテンに「モモノシタ！」と注意されました。持つ所も「シタ」と注意をされ、スタッフは日本語は話せなくても必要な言葉は知っているようなので心配はいらないと思います。飛ぶ前に写真を撮るかと聞かれ頼みました。岸に着いた時に「楽しかったらその分キャプテンにチップを渡してくれ」というような事を言われ皆20ドルぐらい渡してました。私達は細かいドルが無かったので日本円で2000円渡すと、他のお客から無表情で20ドル受け取ってたキャプテンが笑顔になって喜んでました。撮られた写真はSDカードで渡され、船着場の直ぐ近くにこのツアーの店があり、そこの大画面に表示させてちゃんと撮れてるかチェックしてくれ30ドル支払います。一眼レフのデジカメで、一組あたり約30~35枚とってくれます。飛んでる最中の海の景色も数枚入ってます。その支払いを待っている最中にカウンターを見ると、ボロボロなアルバムの様な物が･･･それはこのアクティビティーを分かりやすく出発から帰るまで全部を写真と日本語で説明してる日本人向けの物でした。どうもこの店に来て直接申し込みをする人用のようです。が、もう一冊用意してピックアップの車の中で読めるようにしてくれたらいいのになと思いました（＾＾；写真はボートから見た先に飛んでる人です。

It was a memorable sea-kayaking trip. Just be aware of one small detail: the bathroom/restroom facility is suitable only for temporary bath & cloth change. Very much likely you have to come back for a real full bath at your hotel. Aside from this, every else (which counts towards 99% of the trip) is great !!

Hans Hedemann Waikiki Surfing Lessons - Honolulu's Best Surf School

This was an intense, 2-hour surf lesson that I absolutely loved! The weather was perfect, and catching waves right in front of Diamond Head was amazing.

I wasn't sure what to expect going in, but the group lesson gave you a short intro into surfing and then helped you to ride the waves for the rest of the time. We spent a good amount of time (enough to exhaust me) in the water, with detailed instruction for each of the instructors. I was a bit worried when I got there with the amount of people, as I wasn't sure how it was going to work out, but the staff at Hans Hedemann made this a supa way to spend a Saturday morning.

Huge thanks go out to the surf instructors of the day, so thank you to Shawn, Easton, and Zara for keeping our huge group going for the full 2 hours, you guys were fantastic! A great time that i highly recommend to anyone and everyone visiting Waikiki!

It had been years since I played at the beach, so I was initially anxious, but thanks to our guides Mark and Yasu, I had a wonderful experience (even though I got really sunburned…). Thank you!

After arriving in Kailua, I felt like we wasted over an hour waiting for the kayak after the briefing. There wasn't enough time to visit Kailua Town, and since we had to meet at 11:30 but the pizza place opened at 11, I had to settle for a mediocre loco moco... (After kayaking, we changed and left right away, so there was no time for lunch.)

However, the content, scenery, and staff were all excellent, so next time I want to choose a course where we can take our time. Mark mentioned he would email photos to those who wanted them, so I'm looking forward to that.

海で遊ぶのは何年ぶり（？）だったので初めは不安でしたが、ガイドのマーク、ヤスさんのおかげで楽しい体験ができました。(ものすごく焼けましたが…)ありがとう！
カイルア到着後、説明を受けてからカヤックに乗るまでの間が１時間以上あって時間がもったいない気がしました。カイルアタウンに行くには時間が足りないし、１１時半集合なのにピザ屋さんは１１時OPENのためあきらめていまいちなロコモコを食べざるを得なかったり…（カヤックに乗った後は着替えてすぐ出発だったのでお昼を食べる時間はありません。）
でも内容、景色、スタッフは最高なので、次回はもっとゆっくりできるコースを選びたいと思います。
希望者にはマークさんが写真をメールで送ってくれるといっていたので楽しみに待っています。

I had jet skied before, but I had never done it in Hawaii, this was a different experience and one that I loved thoroughly, I went with my girlfriend. We were given clear instructions on how to behave and what to do in event of an accident, the jet ski time was fun and we had a brilliant time, I highly recommend it!

I had been to Kailua before, but I chose this tour because I wanted to try sea kayaking.

First, there was someone who was late for the pickup time (they were a foreigner...), so we seemed to arrive a bit late and started in quite a rush. (There was no time even to go to the restroom...)

This tour seems to be affected by the wind on the day, but fortunately, it wasn't too windy, and it took about 25 minutes to reach the island 1 kilometer away. (According to the instructor, it was a great performance.) I don't have great athletic skills, so I was a bit anxious, but surprisingly, I was okay.

Paddling together was fun, and it ended so quickly that I wished we could have paddled a bit more. The weather was nice, and we could even see Molokai Island.

During the free time after lunch, I borrowed a bodyboard and headed to the beach. I heard from the instructor that Kailua is beautiful in the afternoon, and the sea was truly a stunning blue.

I highly recommend it.

カイルアは午後からが美しいと、インストラクターさんに
聞いたのですが、本当に真っ青な海がきれいでした。

First time on surf bus, me(45), niece(25), son(9), daughter(4). Only paid for 1 activity each because we didnt know the time schedule or what would work best. Pick up 8:15am. Nice tour of different beaches at north shore. Finally arrived at 1st activity spot at 10:30 me/daughter went to waimea beach, niece/son waimea falls and walked to us. Others did snorkeling. Picked up at 1pm. Next stop haleiwa where we got 1 paddle board and 1 double kayak. Son loved padded boarding by himself! We switched off and met back at 3. Others walked through town and ate. We did great with just one activity eac (2 waimea waterfall entrance, 1 paddle board, 1 kayak). Others did th snorkel then th paddle board the 2nd half. The falls walk was hot and long but my son still enjoyed. Beach was nice for me and my 4 year old to float in the calmer waves. Definitely enjoyed our trip! Nice ending was a couple days later I realized I had left my daughter's life jacket (brought a good one for my entir vaca

The most unique and different type of experience I have ever encountered. So easy to participate, no special skills or training required made it really easy to enjoy oneself. Completely forgot that I wasn't breathing with an air tank...loved the huge views I had with the Bubble Head. Would definitely do this again!!!

I participated at my husband's request. It was our first experience. The staff member was kind and communicated in broken Japanese. The driver only spoke English. All the other guests were foreigners, which felt a bit isolating...

We had a nearly 10-minute aerial walk per group. However, since we were last in line, I started to feel sick and ended up throwing up at the peak. I had taken motion sickness medication beforehand. The summit was quite high and it swayed a lot. Before returning to the boat, we jumped into the sea.

I purchased an SD card with data for $30, which I paid for later at the office.

It was fun, but I might be a bit tired. Please make sure to take care of your health before participating!
