I was relieved that they arrived on time for the early morning pickup. Although the conversation was only in English, I somehow understood the nuances and was able to spend my time without anxiety. Hanauma Bay was beautiful as always after such a long time.

早朝のお迎えだったけど時間通りに来ていただき安心しました。
英語のみの会話だったけとなんとなくニュアンスは伝わり不安なく過ごせました。
久しぶりのハナウマベイはやっぱり綺麗でした。

Our guide Dan was EXCELLENT!!!!!! There were only 4 of us in this group so Dan was very conscientious of how we were doing, making sure we saw a huge varied fish and even a turtle. Dan was an EXPERT and knew Hanauma Bay like the back of his hand. It was a once in a lifetime experience.

While we have been to Hawaii a few times this was our first time exploring Hanauma Bay. We didn’t know what to expect but our guide made the adventure far easier than trying to tour this spot on our own. Our guide had all the snorkeling gear, wet suits if needed, snacks available, and took photos for us. We had a young 7 year old child up to elderly and even though some stayed in the water for just a little while our guide helped us navigate the waters or assisted us walking back to our spot on the grass. It was very busy there, and we unfortunately didn’t get to see sea turtles so I wouldn’t go with very high expectations of that. However the bay is just beautiful itself and there are a good amount of fish we saw which was still fun. If you are new to snorkeling and want to see this area I would recommend taking the guided tour like this and then venturing on your own in the future if you are comfortable.

Nick was AWESOME! We went as a family (child age 11) and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

I wanted to go to Kailua after a long time, so I chose this tour where we could enjoy the beach and shopping. Since it was just our family on the day, thank you for being so considerate. When we arrived at the office, I remembered that I had participated seven years ago, and we had a great conversation. Also, the plate lunch we had for lunch was very delicious. I look forward to the day we can meet again.

久しぶりにカイウラに行きたいと思ってビーチとショッピングができるこのツアーを選びました。
当日は私達家族だけだったので、色々気を遣って頂きありがとうございました。オフィスに着いてから7年前にも参加したことも思いだし、楽しい会話もできました。
あと、ランチで食べたプレートランチがとても美味しかったです。
また、お会い出来る日を楽しみにしてます。

The ocean was as beautiful as I had researched beforehand. I was wondering if Lanikai might be a bit far to walk to, but as I enjoyed the scenery while walking along the sandy beach of Kailua, I didn't feel the distance at all. I was truly healed by the stunning ocean. Even looking at the photos later, it's clear how much more beautiful it is compared to Waikiki. The fine sand also felt amazing. Since my group was the only one booked for that day, I appreciate the staff for being flexible with us. I took a burger to go with my lunch voucher, and it was ready in about five minutes.

事前に調べていた通りの海の綺麗さでした。ラニカイは歩いて行くにはちょっと遠いかな？と考えていましたが、カイルアビーチの砂浜を景色を楽しみながら歩けば、遠さは感じませんでした。とにかく美しい海に癒されました。後から写真を見ても、ワイキキに比べ美しいのがよくわかります。細かい砂も触感が最高でした。その日の予約が私のグループだけだったので、スタッフさんに柔軟に対応していただき感謝しています。
昼食券でバーガーをテイクアウトし、持っていきました。バーガーは5分ほどで作ってもらえました。

Hanauma Bay has become reservation-only after COVID, and while it's great to have guaranteed entry, I think the early morning schedule and the rental/transportation prices are high. Is there a way to make it cheaper if you only need transportation without the rental? (Entry is possible if you wait in line, so it might be possible to go by Uber, but it could be difficult to enter on the day without a guide from a service.)

ハナウマ湾がコロナ後予約制になり、個人での予約が難しい中、確実に入れるのはありがたいが、朝が早くレンタル/送迎の値段としては高いと思う。レンタル不要で送迎のみでもっと安くならないか？（入場は並べば良いので、自分でウーバーで行く事も可能かもだが、業者同行がないと当日入場は難しいかも？）

I heard that the ocean is more beautiful than Waikiki Beach, so I decided to join. It was tough to wake up early and participate, but Hanauma Bay was more stunning than I imagined. I also think there are more fish to see compared to Waikiki Beach. I wasn't confident in my swimming skills, but I enjoyed the wide area where I could stand in shallow water.

ワイキキビーチよりも海が綺麗との話を聞き参加しました。早朝に起床し参加するのは大変でしたが、ハナウマ湾は想像以上に絶景でした。また、見ることのできる魚の数もワイキキビーチより多いと思います。私は泳ぎに自信がありませんでしたが、足のつく浅いところの範囲も広く楽しめました。

You can see a lot of fish at waist-deep water, making it enjoyable for snorkeling beginners. Although it was a bit cold to stay in the water in March due to the clouds, once you get in, it’s not a problem.

腰の高さの水深で沢山の魚を見ることができ、スノーケリング初心者で十分楽しめます。海に入り続けるには３月の曇りは少し寒いですが、入ってしまえば問題なしでした。

It was my first time snorkelling, and the experience was fantastic! The equipment was clean, well-maintained, and easy to use. If you're not comfortable swimming in the ocean like me, I highly recommend renting a life vest for extra confidence.

From the start, everything was well-organized. The shuttle bus driver was friendly and informative, sharing insights about Oahu’s geography, and pointing out tourist attractions and great restaurants along the way. He even handed out pictures of ocean creatures we might spot, which made the ride even more exciting!

Overall, a great experience, I’d definitely recommend it!

I had given up on making a reservation through the official booking site, but then I found this tour and signed up. Since I didn't have a rental car, it was really helpful that they provided transportation to the hotel. The rental equipment was properly arranged, and the driver was a fun person, which was great.

公式予約サイトで予約が取れなかったので諦めていたところ、こちらのツアーを見つけて申し込みました。
レンタカーしていなかったので、ホテルに送迎してもらえて本当に助かりました。
レンタル道具もキチンとあり、ドライバーさんも楽しい方で良かったです。

The pick-up and drop-off to the hotel were handled by a reliable driver, which gave me peace of mind. The goggles, snorkel, and float wetsuit I borrowed were also easy to use. I am very satisfied.

お迎えも返りのホテルまでの送りも、あんしんしまかせられる良いドライバーでした。
お借りしゴーグル、シュノーケル、フロートウエットスーツも、使いやすかったです。

Since it was early in the morning, the pickup time was 5:45 AM. We arrived at a nearby cape before dawn and waited for a while, reaching the entrance just after 7 AM. After entering at 8 AM with standard equipment (snorkel, fins) along with optional life jackets, umbrellas, and chairs, there was a presentation, and we finally made it to the beach by 8:30 AM, ready to swim. Overall, the time spent carrying our belongings was long and tiring. We did see some fish in the sea, but the scenery wasn't as impressive as we had hoped. I also thought the entrance fee of $25 per person was high.

朝一だったのでピックアップの時間は5時45分、夜明け前に近くの岬に到着してしばらく待機し、入口についたのが7時過ぎ。入口から標準装備（シュノーケル、フィン）の他にオプションの救命具、パラソル、椅子をもって8時に入場開始が始まり、説明の上映もあって、8時半にやっと浜辺に着き泳げる体制になりました。とにかく荷物を運んでいる時間も長くくたびれました。海は魚も見れましたが、期待しているほどの景観ではなかったです。また入場料も25ドル/人は高いと思いました。

This is a round trip snorkeling tour at Hanauma Bay that lasts over 4 hours. It takes about 30 minutes to get there by car, and there is nearly an hour spent on the rules of Hanauma Bay and putting on wetsuits. The snorkeling itself lasts a full hour, which is quite long.

For my husband and me, an hour felt a bit long, and we got bored halfway through and felt a bit seasick. Additionally, we were disappointed that we couldn't spend a little more time relaxing on-site or stop by the local shops.

往復4時間超のハナウマ湾シュノーケリングツアーです。
車で30分程度で現地到着、ハナウマ湾のルールやウエットスーツ着用に1時間弱。シュノーケルは1時間みっちりで、かなり長くシュノーケリングが出来ます。
私達夫婦には1時間は長く感じて、途中で飽きたのと波酔いで少し苦痛に感じました。また、現地で少しのんびり過ごしたかったのと、現地のショップにも寄れなかったので、残念でした。

The pick-up and equipment rental were completely problem-free. The driver assisted us while translating into Japanese using an app.

The tour is not good at all and I did not see fish and other sea animals

The water was murky because the wind was strong. The explanatory video about the sea that you must watch before entering is only a few minutes long. It's better to wait at the exit. Once you leave, you can immediately take the free shuttle.

風が強かったので水が濁っていた。海に入る前に見る海の説明ビデオは数分ですが必ず見ないといけません。出口で待っていた方が良いです。出たらすぐ送迎の無料トラックに乗ることができます。

It was amazing!
The clarity of the water, the variety and size of the fish were truly impressive!
I even got to meet a honu and swim with it!

My English is at a basic education level, and that's fine.
The guide speaks slowly to make it easy to understand.
While driving, they introduce recommended shops.
We stopped at a parking area for a location explanation, then had time for a briefing on how to use the snorkel, swimming precautions, and ordering additional rental items.
We rented a boogie board, but other parties rented life jackets.

一旦パーキングに止めてロケーションの説明の後シュノーケルの使い方遊泳時の注意、追加のレンタル品のオーダーの時間がありました。
うちはブギーボードレンタルしましたが、他のパーティはライフジャケットをみんなレンタルしてました。

Originally, it was scheduled for January 30, but I received a call from Veltra the day before, asking me to change the date due to a warning being issued for the next day. So, I participated on February 1.
When I come to Hawaii, Hanauma Bay is an absolute must-visit and one of my favorite places. Although it was an early morning, I was able to enjoy it while there were fewer people. I encountered many fish and was very satisfied. The weather was great, and the view of Hanauma Bay from near the entrance was amazing!
Of course, I want to go again.

当初は1/30の予定でしたが、前日にベルトラさんから電話を頂き、明日は警報が出ているので日程を変更してくださいとのこと。そして2/1に参加させて頂きました。
ハワイに来たらハナウマ湾は絶対外せない大好きな場所。朝が早いけど人が少ないうちから楽しめました。たくさんの魚にも逢えて大満足でした。天候も良く、入場口付近から見たハナウマ湾は最高です！
勿論、また行きたいです。

Since it was a Japanese instructor, I felt安心して参加できました. I participated with the desire to see a honu, so I was worried about the weather on the day of the event. Although the sea was slightly murky, I was able to meet the honu I had longed to see, and the instructor took many photos for me, creating wonderful memories.

日本人のインストラクターの方だったので、安心して参加できました。ホヌに逢いたい願望で参加したので、当日は天候が怪しくて心配もありました。実際に海は若干の濁りがありましたが念願のホヌにも逢え、インストラクターの方にたくさん写真を撮っていただきいい思い出になりました。

I was able to see the honu (sea turtle). It's recommended to go when you have enough stamina, as you'll be snorkeling for a long time. I felt cold and got a bit seasick along the way, but thanks to the instructors, I was able to participate in a fun atmosphere.

ホヌが見れました。長い時間シュノーケリングをする為、体力がある時がお勧めです。途中で寒く感じ波酔いをしましたが、先生方のお陰で楽しい雰囲気で参加出来ました。

Great service,on time pickup. Navigated transportation well. The guides shined with extras such as wetsuits for hire and even prescription mask. In the water they knew where to find the fish and the easiest routes through the reef. Best snorkel tour for beginners. Lots of fun even for experienced snorkelers.

Super fun tour with easy to talk to guide. So many fish to see. Our son even saw an octopus.

I visited Hanauma Bay for the first time in 30 years. We arrived in an 8-passenger van before the parking lot opened, but there were quite a few cars lined up. Thanks to our guide departing early based on the previous day's situation, we were able to enter quite smoothly. It seems that tour guests can enter preferentially. Before descending to Hanauma Bay, we watched a video and received explanations, which took about 30 minutes. We descended about 30 meters down a steep slope in a large buggy that holds around 15 people. In the past, there were many fish near the shore because people fed them, but now there aren't as many. Following our guide, we were shown the areas where the fish are, from the left side of the bay to the right. Along the way, we were able to see a turtle. Additionally, we spotted a whale spouting outside the bay.

8人乗りのバンで、駐車場の開場前に着きますが、結構車が並んでいます
ガイドさんが前日の様子から早めに出発したため、結構スムーズに入場できました
ツアー客は優先的に入場できるようです
ハナウマ湾に降りる前に、説明、ビデオを観るので、30分ぐらいかかります
ハナウマ湾までは、30mぐらいの急な坂を15人乗りぐらいの大型バギーで降ります
以前は、餌を与えていたため、波打ち際まで多くの魚がいましたが、今は余りいません
ガイドさんに従って、湾の左側から右側まで、魚がいるところを案内してくれます
途中でカメを観ることができました
また、湾の外にクジラの潮吹きが見られました

We had such a such a great time with Dan and Keico. They were very caring, excellent services. We saw a school of fish, beautiful tropical fishes, and a turtle! We would not be able to venture so far without their guide. Dan’s Japanese was exceptionally good, it is hard to believe he learned it in Hawaii! Thanks for the unforgettable experience!

My first time at Hanauma Bay, and I wasn't sure about the arrangements like needing a reservation as an individual, but having a guide made me feel secure. They took us quite far out for snorkeling, and I encountered a honu (sea turtle). I had snorkeled many times in Okinawa, but this experience was on a completely different scale. It was very enjoyable and became a great memory. Thank you very much.

初めてのハナウマ湾、個人だと予約が必要など段取りが分かりませんでしたが、ガイドさんがいて安心でした。
シュノーケリングはかなり沖の方まで連れて行って貰えて、ホヌにも遭遇。シュノーケリング自体は沖縄で何度も経験済みでしたが、全然スケールが違いました。
とても楽しかったです。良い思い出になりました。ありがとうございました。

It was an incredibly satisfying snorkeling experience! All the concerns I had were addressed by the two staff members. I was particularly worried about managing valuables like my wallet, passport, and smartphone, but they provided a locked case for safe storage, which made me feel secure.

Moreover, I was deeply moved when I unexpectedly encountered three sea turtles swimming right in front of me, which is said to be a rare experience.

We swam quite a bit, but since children can participate, I'm sure anyone can manage it! Since it was a January morning, it felt a bit chilly after swimming, so I was glad I brought a hoodie and a towel.

As long as I don't oversleep, it will definitely be the best day! If I come to Hawaii again, I would absolutely want to sign up for this tour.

大満足のシュノーケリングでした！！
不安に思っていたことは全てスタッフのお二人が解消してくれました。
特に、財布やパスポート、スマホ等、貴重品の管理が不安でしたが、鍵付きのケースにまとめて保管していただけるので安心でした。

また、あまり出会うことの出来ないと言われる海亀が、偶然3匹も目の前に現れ一緒に泳いでくれたときはとても感動しました。

けっこう泳ぎましたが、子どもが参加することもあるくらいなので、きっと大丈夫です！
１月の朝ということもあり、泳ぎ終わったときは少し寒かったので、パーカーなど羽織るものやタオルを持っていっていて良かったと思いました。

最高の1日になること間違いなしでしょう！
もしまたハワイに来ることがあれば
必ずこのツアーに申し込みたいと思えるほどです。
