I previously participated in a beginner diving experience at Hanauma Bay through Veltra, and this time I wanted to go snorkeling with my daughter. At first, my daughter suggested going without a guide, but I chose to go with an expert guide, hoping they would take us to areas where we could see many fish and even out to deeper waters that we wouldn't have been able to reach on our own. It was definitely the right choice. I think we wouldn't have seen any turtles or many fish without the guide. The guide was very kind, and I felt safe while snorkeling. Thank you very much. I plan to ask Veltra for help again when I go to Hawaii.

My BF & I were looking for something just like this since it had been many years since we both went snorkeling. Our guides were friendly, prompt, and knew what they were doing. They provided all the equipment and snacks for later. They made it very easy and it was a great trip! Would definitely recommend and use them again! The couple who are instructors worked together seamlessly. First, they took photos after we arrived at Hanauma Bay, and then we chose our fins. We rented wetsuits to prevent scratches from the coral and because the seawater was cold, which turned out to be a great decision! Thanks to this, both my child and I were able to enjoy snorkeling comfortably. I absolutely recommend it for sunburn prevention as well.

Before entering the water, they explained how to use the mask and snorkel in a very easy-to-understand way, and after we got in, they taught us how to move, which allowed my 6-year-old son to enjoy himself without any issues. They also took many underwater photos, creating wonderful memories for us!

After swimming, they prepared snacks and water for us, and we were grateful for it as we were craving hydration and salt! I would love to participate again when we visit Hawaii! Thank you very much!

まずハナウマ湾に到着してから写真を撮ってくださり、その後足ヒレを選びました。

また水中写真も沢山撮ってくださって、とても素敵な想い出になりました♪
泳ぎ終わったあと、スナックとお水を用意してくださっていて、水分&塩分を欲していた私たちはありがたくいただきました！

AMAZING for my first time snorkeling! Perfect weather, clear water, ran into 3 turtles and a beautiful school of fish. Dan and Chieko are very sweet people. Would definitely have brought a waterproof camera if I had one.
Recommend hydrating beforehand, especially if you haven't swam in the ocean before.
We got lucky with the weather on a beautiful day!

This was our first experience with snorkeling...but I was convinced that we could not go to Oahu and not see the ocean life for ourselves. Dan and Cheiko were great.

We paid for a group of 5 (3 adult, 2 children). We had to pay the full price to have my grandmother brought along, even though she was not participating. With that said it was suppose to be just our small group to the two guides. This was especially important to me as the two children could swim and the adults in our group could NOT swim well. It turned out two others joined us, so Chieko was mostly their guide and Dan was with the four of us. It was raining that day, so my grandmother was not able to come observe (so paid and not used). Although I was not expecting a refund for her experience necessarily, I was a little put off that we were then charged extra for the optional wet suits to keep us warm (given the weather that day). That really is the only thing I would improve, but given the nature of the business, that may be challenging.

Otherwise, it was FANTASTIC! Dan was amazingly patient and made the experience great. The children, although swimmers, panicked with the snorkel equipment and sea animals. The adult limited swimmers had a blast! Even on a dreary, rainy day. LOL! they took awesome pictures that we were easily able to download from their social media page, so one less thing to worry about doing especially given first time out. I would definitely recommend this experience no matter what skill level, it will not disappoint.

Waikiki Beach and Hanauma Bay are crowded, so I was looking for other snorkeling tours when I found this West Oahu tour. In my case, it was almost a private tour, which was a great deal and a satisfying experience.

The vehicle (which was a new car at the time, haha) was driven by the guide, so it wasn't a shared bus, allowing for a comfortable ride even over long distances. We stopped at many points, including places I wanted to visit and some I learned about for the first time, and the guide provided detailed information about Hawaii's history, making the journey very enjoyable.

The best part is that there were no people at any of the points we visited! Most tourist tours are filled with other tourists. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants to fully enjoy the private natural beauty of Hawaii. The snorkeling was also incredibly mystical and private since there were no people in the water. Beginners will have no problems at all; they provide excellent support.

何といってもどのポイントも人がいないのが魅力です‼どの観光ツアーも行く先は観光客ばかりですよね。プライベートなハワイの大自然を満喫したい方に是非おすすめしたいです。
シュノーケルも海に人がいないのですごく神秘的でプライベートなシュノーケルを楽しめました。初心者の方も全く問題ありません。しっかりサポートしてくれます。

I traveled to Hawaii with my older mother and sister. I signed up for the tour because I heard that the West Coast tour was rare. We were supposed to meet at 7:30 AM, but the three of us woke up at 7:20 and were late. We finally got in touch with Akima-san after 9 AM, but they had already moved quite a bit along the West Coast. We took a taxi to Makaha Beach and joined the tour. It’s a funny story now, but everyone, please make sure to set your alarms properly.

My 78-year-old mother tried snorkeling for the first time. She gave up partway through, but she looked happy to finally get into the ocean. I made Akima-san use a lot of energy.

The beautiful scenery and Akima-san's smile were wonderful. When there was trash on the beach, people picked it up, and it felt very natural and normal. It made me realize that visitors should also keep this in mind.

Although it was a short tour, I got to hear a lot of interesting stories. As plant lovers, we found it very fascinating and took many photos.

Hanauma Bay was as beautiful as rumored, and the guide was friendly, with solid safety measures in place, making me feel secure and allowing me to relax and enjoy snorkeling. The life jackets were also comfortable to wear. Personally, I appreciated that many photos were taken, which was great, but I later realized that the system was to download the ones uploaded to Facebook, and since I didn't want to be featured, that was a bit unpleasant. Overall, I had a very good experience using the service.

It was rainy and chilly on the day of our visit. Although we would get wet in the ocean anyway, it was disappointing that the temperature was low. However, since we had made our reservation months in advance, we couldn't predict the weather.

We were picked up by our driver and female diver, F. This morning, it was just my wife and me, so we had F all to ourselves. Lucky us! The car ride was filled with enjoyable conversations about life in Hawaii and our children. Before we knew it, we arrived at Hanauma Bay.

After watching a video, we headed to the beach. F had already prepared everything. Since it was cold, she provided a wetsuit and a prescription mask for my nearsightedness. Additionally, she had a large lockable box ready for us, allowing us to safely store our clothes and belongings. Especially since it was a cold rain, it was a relief that our dry clothes didn't get wet. Thank you!

After practicing snorkeling while wading up to our waists, we began snorkeling. Once we started swimming, the rain didn't bother me at all, and moving around kept me warm. Although it was raining, there were no waves, so we were excited to venture out further!

At one point, my wife's leg cramped, possibly due to her unfamiliarity with snorkeling. However, F promptly took care of her, which was a great help. After that, F held my wife's hand and guided her while swimming. It would have been difficult for me alone. I was grateful to have F with us. Thank you!

F spotted a sea turtle out in the ocean, and we were amazed to see a baby sea turtle. It swam leisurely behind us for a while. F informed her fellow Japanese guide, and everyone gathered together. It was heartwarming to see the spirit of helping each other to make the tour better.

The underwater world was calm, filled with beautiful fish of various colors swimming in schools, resembling a stunning underwater palace. This was all thanks to F, who accurately guided us to where the fish were. I am grateful.

ホテルに迎えに来て頂く。運転手兼女性ダイバーのFさん。今日の午前中は我々夫婦のみ。Fさんを貸切状態。ラッキー！車中はハワイでの暮らしや子供の話で楽しい時間。あっという間にハナウマ湾に着く。
我々はビデオを見てからビーチへ。先に着いたFさんが準備万端。寒いのでウェットと近視の私の為に度付きのマスクを用意してくれる。また、大きな鍵のかかるボックスを用意してくれていて、着替えや手荷物を安心してしまっておけました。特に、寒い雨だったので、乾いた着替えが濡れなかったのは助かりました。ありがとうございます。
腰までつかってシュノーケリングの練習をしてから、シュノーケリング開始。泳ぎだすと雨はもちろん気にならないし、身体を動かすので私は寒くなくなる。今日は、雨だが波がないので沖まで出られるとのことで楽しみ！ワクワク！
途中、慣れないシュノーケリングの為か？家内の脚が攣る。しかし、Fさんが的確に処置してくださり助かる。その後はFさんが家内の手を引いて泳いで案内してくれる。私一人では大変でした。Fさんが居てくださって助かりました。ありがとうございます。
沖でウミガメをFさんが発見。子供の生ウミガメに感動する。しばらく、後ろをのんびりと泳ぐ。Fさんが仲間の日本人ガイドさんに教えてあげて、皆が集合する。助け合ってより良いツアーにしようとする気持ちが嬉しい。
海の中は穏やかで、様々な色の綺麗な魚が群れになっていて、綺麗な竜宮城のようでした。これも魚のいる場所に正確に案内してくれたFさんのお蔭です。感謝。

As a family of four, this was a fantastic experience with Blue Divers of Hawaii. Our trip in winter was a bit of a windy day. However, our guides had wet suits that we could rent for the snorkeling trip. Saved all of us on that chilly day. Guides were excellent with making everyone comfortable in their masks and keeping us together as a group. Best part was seeing the turtles and the small shark!!

Great service. You normally have to get to Bay early. Parking is very limited. We overslept. We were able to make reservation and catch shuttle to Bay. They did all possible to fit us in with 2 -3 hours notice. There are 4 pickups a day in Waikiki. They have all gear you need on the shuttle or you can bring your own. Beautiful place

I participated on December 8th. December in Hawaii is the rainy season, and it was rainy from the morning. If the weather had been better, the ocean would have looked clearer, but with the bad weather, the ocean was indeed dim. However, it was great to see many tropical fish and sea turtles.

Since it had been raining since morning, I thought there wouldn't be any fish, but I finally got to see a turtle that I had been longing to meet! It was so close that I was almost scared to touch it! I was really happy! (^^)

Dan-sensei was very good at Japanese, and we all laughed and had fun during the car ride there and back! (^^)

Next time I go to Hawaii, I want to join the tour of Hanauma Bay or a diving tour!

朝から雨が降っていたため、魚はいないかなと思っていたのですが、念願のカメに初めて会えました！
すごい近くにいて触れてしまいそうで怖いくらいでした！笑 すごい嬉しかったです(^^)
dan先生が日本語がとても上手で、行き帰りの車もみんなで笑って楽しかったです(^^)
またハワイに行く時はこちらのハナウマ湾のツアーもしくはダイビングのツアーに参加したいです！

The weather was nice, although a bit cold, but I borrowed a wetsuit, so I was glad I didn't get cold! I was able to see a lot of fish. Unfortunately, I didn't get to see any turtles (^ - ^;

I was able to safely snorkel because I could leave my valuables and belongings in the guide couple's locked box. Thank you very much.

お天気が良くちょっと寒かったのですがウエットスーツを借りましたので、
身体が冷えず良かったです！
たくさんのお魚を見ることが出来ました。
残念なことにカメさんには会えませんでした(^-^;

貴重品や持ち物などはガイドの御夫妻のカギ付ボックスに預かって頂けましたので
安心してシュノーケルが出来ました。

I was initially anxious about my first trip to Hawaii, but the guide was truly wonderful and the best part of the experience. She was a cheerful and friendly Japanese female guide who taught us everything with great care. I was also very satisfied to encounter sea turtles! It seems that the guide also offers scuba diving tours, so I would definitely like to request her for my next visit.

初めてのハワイツアーで最初は不安でしたが、まずガイドさんが本当にいい人で最高でした。日本人の明るく気さくな女性ガイドさんで一から丁寧に教えてもらえました☆
海亀にも出会えて大満足でした☆
ガイドさんはスキューバダイビングのガイドもしていただけるみたいなんで、次回は是非指名でお願いしたいです♪

It was a windy day, so it was difficult to go out to the open sea, and we ended up snorkeling in the shallows. However, thanks to Mr. Dan's accurate guidance, we were able to see sea turtles about four times! Hanauma Bay has high transparency, and we were able to see many other fish as well, so I recommend this place for snorkeling!

風の強い日だったので、沖の方まで行くことが難しく浅瀬でのシュノーケリングになりましたが、ダン先生の的確なポイントでうみがめちゃんを4回くらい見ることができました！ハナウマ湾は透明度が高く、他にもたくさんのお魚が見れたので、シュノーケリング目的でしたらここをお勧めします！
